ay was on point. Though 6 days before our wedding they asked to bring a 3rd assistant saying we'd only have to cover her meal (catering was paid in full at that point so it would have added another to-do item to our list), and when I asked for additional info on why a 3rd person was needed (we had a small wedding), they admitted it was so that this newer assistant could gain social media experience. It made it feel like our wedding day was a training session for their team rather than a service we paid for. In retrospect, I'm grateful our venue manager pushed them to adjust certain things on our timeline because they didn't make sense during our final walkthrough (e.g., doing our first dance, father daughter dance and mother son dance all in a row). Our coordinator was very green and it showed--she was cold and stand-offish during the rehearsal and wedding day. I barely interacted with the second assistant they brought. No one greeted our guests as they got off the shuttle so they were confused about where to go and where the ceremony location was at the venue. She then decided to move me and my parents to a holding room in the reception space as guests were arriving--terrible idea to make the bride run across the lawn in heels in full view of guests! Luckily, our photographers helped shield me, but there was no need to move us then or at all. The coordinator neglected to seat immediate family in the front row for our ceremony even though we discussed the list in our final walkthrough with her and then we were told it was our fault because we should have provided name cards (that she didn't tell us to provide). The biggest pain point was that she ended our wedding TWENTY minutes early despite getting the okay from our venue to go to the ending time on our contract and allow guests to arrive 10-15 minutes before the ceremony start time. Hugely frustrating to have the biggest celebration of your life cut short! Miriam was so professional on our initial calls, but the team that she handed things off to was not great and someone more experienced should have been there to help steer the newer coordinator--we thought and discussed that Miriam was going to be there the day of our wedding, but she sent a different assistant and this was never communicated to us. Disappointing experience all around.

We had about 1.5 years to plan the wedding and we had the best time working with our main planner Erin. She was truly wonderful to work with leading up to our big day. The best part about her? I was able to completely remove myself from the execution process on our wedding weekend and know that everything would be set up precisely to my vision. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful! With an outdoor spring wedding, we knew our risks with the weather, and when it came time to decide we had to go with our rain plan, Savanna was calm, cool, and collected. She fully acknowledged my disappointment and gave me my moment to be sad, but ensured that the day would be beautiful, and she delivered. You can tell that she isn't just doing a job, she is invested in each and every decision and truly cares that your day is everything you want. hat I was being scammed by a videographer 3 months before my big day and Miriam helped me find a replacement at a moments notice and looked through my first contract to get me out of it. The week of my wedding she was a sounding board for all of my nerves and concerns and she truly made the day go perfectly. She kept the timeline perfect, the set up was perfect, everything... 10 out of 10.

e final month and a half with them not responding to any emails or calls, so Hayley took over once our month of coordinating plan started and she worked her magic. Any fear I had was alleviated as soon as Hayley came on board and she saved my sanity, I mean that. The rehearsal went smoothly and quick, and the day of I did not have to worry about a single thing. Any time I’d ask about something it would already have been done, I didn’t have to use my brain once. Hayley, Brett and I love you SO much. Thank you for everything!

, and not nearly enough time to get everything done. First of all, Miriam was excellent in helping me to stay calm. She reassured me and kept me on a time line. I went with partial planning, because full planning didn't seem right for my shortened timeline. Miriam made vendor suggestions and gave me contacts for who I might work with. With partial planning, I did the initial communication and booking of vendors. I preferred this as I am bit of a control freak and I wanted to make sure the vendor I chose was exactly what I wanted. I did a lot of interviews with photographers and tasted a lot of cakes to find the right one for me. Once they were booked, Miriam and her team handled the rest of the communication with that vendor. She handled all the timeline and details. Miriam was very reassuring, letting me know what I was and wasn't missing. She was with me for walk through and worked 1:1 with the event manager for the site to ensure that absolutely everything was taken care of. The day of, I didn't have to worry about a single thing. I was able to enjoy my day, talk to my guests, drink, dance and just generally be present. Miriam made sure my vision came to life and everything was absolutely beautiful. I found the partial wedding planning package well worth the investment, but ladies I would definitely not economize on at least getting the day of coordination. You've put a lot into your wedding, enjoy it because it will fly by. Having a planner brought me peace and I was able to enjoy the day I had spent a small fortune on.

The tables were beautifully set, the timeline ran smoothly, she even had to fix the wedding cake that the vendor did not properly decorate. She did it all without us even having to ask. hroughout the whole process and when it came to the big day, her and her team were on their A game. It was the perfect day but were a series of mishaps on our special day that Miriam took care of right away - she completely took the stress off my husband and I and handled everything like the BOSS woman that she is. One big example was my husband and I used a catering service and a design service, and somehow, my husband and I forgot to order linen napkins from either service! It fell between the cracks. We didn’t realize this until like 2 hours before the wedding but Miriam somehow got us 350 linens before the ceremony. Can’t tell you how eternally grateful I am for this woman and her team.

She directed my wedding party and parents at our rehearsal like a good teacher would do- instructing us on pacing, how to hold our flowers, etc... Now anytime I can give my friends wedding advice: my biggest piece is not to skip out on a wedding coordinator. Miriam was crucial to our wedding day running smoothly.

For both my own wedding (and at every event I’ve seen her) Miriam and her team have been punctual, professional, and definitely someone you want on your team for the most important day of your life! I did not realize how quickly our wedding day would fly by (I know that’s what everyone says!) and without Miriam we would have definitely not kept to our schedule. I’m so glad she was there to help keep everything on track. On our wedding day she made several decisions last minute regarding our reception which I was not available to make. Because of our previous meetings she was able to understand my fiancé and my priorities and made decisions based on what we would want (which she did perfectly!). I’m 100% sure she took care of far more little things than I’ll ever be aware of (and no couple should have to be aware of on their wedding day!) If you do not have a planner I highly recommend getting one and Scout and Grace is the way to go!

She had my back when I was being picky about the plates I wanted, when I had to switch venues a month and half before my wedding, when my original photographer was hospitalized with Covid-19 a week before my wedding (she called every photographer she could think of to find a replacement (the replacement she found was amazing too – see my review of William Avery Photography)). On the day of my wedding, she brought my vision together beautifully. As someone who works a demanding job, I needed someone sharp, capable, and responsive. Miriam was all three, plus she is kind, passionate about her career, and empathetic to boot. You cannot go wrong with her services.
