Scratch Cupcakery

I actually used the Scratch location in Coralville, IA (they also have one in West Des Moines!). When our wedding plans had to change because of Covid-19 we decided that we'd need to do something other than a donut wall. Scratch was able to individually package 160 cupcakes for us and were amazing to work with. We keep getting comments on how delicious the cupcakes were! Added bonus of the individual packaging was that people could take a few home with them as a favor more easily!

We went through the Coralville location and there service was great!!! Initially they delivered the wrong cake, but went above and beyond to make things right and to have the correct cake delivered in time for our wedding! The cupcakes were amazing per usual! Overall, Ordering through Scratch was a breeze and would highly recommend to any couple!

Scratch was great! They let us participate in a great tasting event so we were confident in our cupcake flavor choices. Day of pick up was smooth and everyone loved the cupcakes! A tad more expensive compared to some other cupcake vendors, but we found the quality to be worth the price.

The mini cupcakes were a perfect option for us. We loved attending the free tasting and all the flavors to choose from. Ordering was easy, delivery was right on time, and the cupcake tree rental was exactly the right size for our order. It was also great to be able to order a small wedding cake from the same vendor so we could still have the traditional cake cutting experience. So happy we chose Scratch!

Ordering with Scratch was seamless and easy! Delivery was punctual. They are my favorite cupcakery in town. Almost every guest had a cupcake because we barley had any left over! LOVE LOVE LOVE them and highly recommend.

We absolutely loved going with Scratch! We decided to do the mini cupcakes and went with several different flavors. We got a ton of compliments from our guests too! We used the West Des Moines location for our cupcakes. We had gone several times prior to selecting them which ,ace the process a lot easier. We were able to pay over the phone with no hassle. They called the day before our wedding to confirm delivery. On the day of our wedding, the driver unloaded all of our boxes and had them ready to go for us to put on cupcake tiers. We love the cupcakes and will definitely use them again in the future.

The cupcakes were great! They have a bit of an odd tasting system where you have to buy cupcakes and then can get money off later, which requires a *lot* of trips to their store to taste all the options you might want to check out. But other than that one downside, I was super happy with Scratch! We got ours from their Coralville location.

We had cupcakes ordered from the West Des Moines store. The cupcakes were perfect this past weekend for our wedding. Scratch was so easy to work with, and we were so happy with the ordering process, delivery, and cupcakes themselves. Scratch continues to be my absolute favorite cupcake place! Thank you so much!

We used the West Des Moines Scratch Cupcakery. We did ten different flavors for our wedding and were very pleased. Paid extra for delivery and they were on time and delicious. Received tons of compliments from our guests on the cupcakes!

We got our cupcakes from the West Des Moines store and were so pleased! We got three different flavors (wedding cake, chocolate wedding cake, and lemon blueberry). Our guests LOVED them. People kept asking if they could have a second (we bought plenty of extra just for that reason). We even went to a birthday party a few weeks later where the host got cupcakes from there and kep saying it was because of how good they were at the wedding. The cupcakes are so affordable and so delicious. The store is great and everyone we've ever worked with has been so amazing. I totally recommend them!

We got our cupcakes from the bakery in Des Moines we ordered 200 total white wedding, chocolate brownie, and Carmel macchiato they were amazing and beautiful!

We ordered 300 cupcakes for our wedding from the Coralville location. They turned out perfect. They delivered the cupcakes to the venue for an extremely reasonable rate. Our guests loved them.

Kate was a great help with everything. So easy and delicious!

Best part of our wedding!! We ordered 40 more cupcakes than guests and they were gone in a heartbeat. Guests were hiding them in our party favors to take them home. We got Wedding Day (almond flavored) and Butter finger (with rich chocolate cake). People commented for weeks about how delicious these cupcakes were.

We decided to order cupcakes instead of a cake for our wedding. I wanted to still incorporate our colors with the cupcakes. Scratch helped me come up with ideas of how to do this and not go overboard on price. Our cupcakes were ready on time and turned out great!

We used the store in West Des Moines. We ran out of cupcakes becuase everyone loved them so much! They have awesome and fun flavors to choose from and we did a variety of mini and large cupcakes. I would always use Scratch Cupcakery for any event!

I had chocoloate chip Scratch cupcakes for my wedding reception. They were very tasty and all of my guests loved them & wanted to know if I had leftovers. We had to postpone my wedding due to illness and they were flexible with taking the order out and waiting a few weeks until I was well and we could have the wedding. This was much appreciated. They were done on time, and professionally with a fabulous taste!

I have been a big fan of Scratch since they first opened and we knew we would have them at our wedding! They did not let us or our guests down! The cupcakes were a huge hit at our wedding!! Our out of town guests want to know how they can get them!

The cupcakes are absolutely delicious, gourmet, and amazing. A real crowd pleaser. A plethora of flavors to choose from. I went with Wedding Day (almond cream cake with vanilla buttercream frosting) and Red Velvet. We were so happy with our cupcakes. The only thing that I wish could have been better was the service. I called the day before my wedding to make sure everything was in order. They proceeded to make up a ridiculous story that "someone had come in yesterday over the lunch hour and changed your order and pick up date" and letting me know that "there is no chance that your cupcakes will be ready at the time you are requesting." It was crazy. But they finally pulled through and were able to get our cupcakes made it time and they were fabulous. If you use these guys, just sure and keep in touch with them to make sure that they are on it.
