The shots he took at several amazing spots around NYC and then at the wedding venue captured exactly what we wanted. He was also a really great help to us when we were putting together the timeline for our wedding day. We had no idea where to start and he spent a hour on the phone with us mapping out the day. We got married at the River cafe and he knew all the best spots in the Dumbo area to go for pictures before the ceremony, where to do the first look, etc. We also did an engagement shoot with Tyler before the wedding and are obsessed with how those photos turned out as well. We absolutely love our photos - from the candids to the detail shots to our couples portraits. We hired Tyler for our wedding pictures and got an engagement shoot as well. He allayed all fears about weather, back up plans, timing, locations, and offered calm solutions for everything. We felt like we were just hanging out with a friend! I can not speak enough to how smoothly wedding day pictures went. I provided a timeline and shot list, which Tyler carefully reviewed, and he made it all happen! He kept us on time and the day running smoothly, and captured every picture on our shot list! You can tell he's just a pro and thinks about what needs to happen next to keep the day moving. He was just such a good presence to have in the room because he really helped run the show and kept the energy fun! And our pictures?!?! We LOVE them. Both our engagement pictures and wedding pictured were turned around in record time in a super convenient gallery that's totally versatile and shareable, and he even offered to make edits on any pictures we wanted changed to black and white or color. Truly we could not be happier with the results and are so happy we have these pictures of the day to look back on. I feel so confident recommending Tyler because the entire experience was just above and beyond!!

research/contracting process of SSNY. My fiancé found out about SSNY via Reddit, and was floored to see how many amazing reviews they had on that platform. He was immediately sold, and after their initial communications, even more-so. My fiancé says that everything with SSNY was flawless! From the first communication, down to the actual planning of our proposal, he could not have had a better experience. Like those Reddit users, we can now testify that you will NOT regret hiring SSNY for absolutely any event. I got engaged on a Saturday at 4:30(ish) PM and had a sneak-peek gallery with edited pictures (ready to download) in my inbox by 6:30 PM the same day. I got my entire album of engagement photos by the following Tuesday (i.e., less than 4 days later). That is UNHEARD of. And it is needless to say that the quality of our photos (in terms of lighting, spacing, angles, and creative vision) are absolutely breath-taking. The lead photographer (Tyler) was professional, kind, and so easy to be around. I couldn't have chosen a better stranger to share such a special and intimate moment with us.
