My wife and I got married in Ithaca in July 2022, and we were lucky enough to have the Screaming Broccolli play during both our cocktail hour and wedding reception. We saw them pla...
y during our first date in NYC, and asked them if they would travel all the way up from the city to play. Mike and the band were extremely accommodating, and made the journey to upstate, and were absolutely incredible. They truly made our entire evening, as we and our guests had a blast dancing all night. They did a great job MCing the event as well, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you are looking for a band for a wedding or special event, we can’t recommend Screaming Broccolli enough!
AMAZING! Got everyone up and dancing the ENTIRE time! Even my cousin who does NOT dance! The whole team was amazing and a few of my friends want to hire them now for their wedding....
They were timely and i have zero complaints
Do yourself a favor and book them as your wedding band. Yes, they are not a typical wedding band in which you get a 12 piece orchestra with performers dressed in fancy attire. They...
are a cover band. A bar band. A bunch of guys rockin' out, drinkin' beer and having a kick ass time. They were hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. Word cannot describe how amazing they were! The dance floor was packed ALL NIGHT, and people are still raving to us about them. The acoustic duo at the cocktail hour was the icing on the cake, and their DJ that they bring, Eric Rivera, is amazing as well. BOOK THEM! NOW!
I can't even say how many compliments we received for our band. I had seen Screaming Broccoli in the past performing throughout the tri-state area and was set on having an alt-rock...
cover band vs. the traditional wedding set. The band exceeded expectations and really got the cord going. Our wedding felt like a concert and we had the best time. They were extremely flexible and easy to work with. The acoustic duo during the cocktail hour was a huge hit and spoke to every guest regardless of age. The DJ they brought along was also very nice and truly listened to us. I would recommend they work with a different sound technician as he was not at the level of the rest of the band in professionalism; however, he was independently contracted by the band.
My guests LOVED Screaming Broccolli! We had so much fun dancing whenever they were playing. We definitely recommend booking them for your wedding.
My husband and I wanted a live band for our wedding and were referred by a coworker to Screaming Broccolli. I am SO SO SO happy we heard about them because they totally made our we...
dding. They did acoustics for an hour and half for our cocktail hour and were amazing. People started dancing during this time and we couldn't get them off the floor for dinner! The dancing after dinner....WOW. The dance floor was PACKED...all night! We got so many compliments from our guests about the band. Mike was great to work with - we met with him in person two weeks before to walk through everything and he made me feel so comfortable with everything going on. There were four band members, 2 crew members for sound/lighting, 2 horns, a women singer, and a DJ who was also the MC. I can't say enough about the entire band and all members! I HIGHLY recommend Screaming Broccolli for any event!
You can't ask for more than a full dance floor at your wedding, and that is what we got with mike and the guys. They did a 2 person acoustic set for the cocktail hour which was fa...
ntastic and the full band, with a dj as part of the package, delivered more than we could have asked for. Fun fun fun and any songs you could possibly want!
