Also their art department was quick in returning proofs and fixing any mistakes found. I had most of my items within two weeks of approving a proof. I wholeheartedly recommend Sceiptura to any bride-to-be and would work with them again in a heartbeat!

I saw their ads in wedding magazines for New Orleans and decided to just check it out. Before I knew it, we were seated for a consult with enough (but not overwhelming) albums to look through. These were different, they were original, they were elegant. We came across one that we LOVED. It came with a pretty hefty price tag, because it was a special type of printing that was raised and yada yada. The wonderful girl (Wendy?) said that this type of printing is like top tier, and the middle level would be significantly cheaper, but have a similar raised effect. My husband loved the look of it, and thought it really made a difference. So the middle tier printing was our best option. That option was also going to cost us $1000 less! It was so beautiful.. Classic, yet never seen before. I still love our invitations. Scriptura sent our invitation info write up to be etiquette checked, and I was sent a proof of the invitation, RSVP card, and return addresses on the envelopes very promptly. They helped us pick fonts and colors, and they sent extras of the envelopes since they don't do include address printing in their packages. They have a very simple paying procedure, and were prompt on confirming that they received our checks (always a fear of ours). And everytime I emailed them asking what the font for this was and what the color was since we were getting the mailing addresses printed through a family business, they happily replied. It was overall such an easy experience, and I'm so glad I found invitations that matched how I wanted my wedding to look. Scriptura was more than accommodating!

My end product was exactly what I wanted, and I loved it, but the process to get there was not a smooth one. I don't think all of this was Wendy's fault, I think it was more the company we were trying to use (she is only a middle-man with these printing companies). There was a lot of issues with the timing of things, confusion between retailer and vendor, and just general miscommunications. It got to the point where, because of timing, I had no choice but to stick with scriptura and go with an option that I would've been happy with from the beginning, but was never given to me.... I was aggravated with them to say the least, but they got the job done, and like I said, I was happy with the final product.

I still run into people who comment about the invitations, they were worth every penny.

However, as soon as I sat down with Sallie, she first asked about our wedding itself, our style, etc. She immediately pulled a few sample books that were EXACTLY what we were looking for in a wedding invitation, and the prices were just in our range. She really knows how to match the right invitation style with your event! The invitations came out perfectly, they were better than I could have expected. On top of that, the customer services from Sallie and all of the Scriptura staff was just amazing and truly made ordering my wedding invitations an enjoyable experience.

wledgeable- they helped us navigate wording, pricing, layout, etc. The oak tree design on our invitation was stunning, and the letterpress was flawless and elegant. We received many compliments! I would recommend Scriptura to anyone!

rely out of our budget. We were able to convince them to do it on flat press instead and cut the cost tremendously. We loved the invitations; however, we did feel that the sales woman was a little annoyed that we were on such a strict budget. Not the best place to go if you want to save money, but if you have money to burn then there’s no better place!

nd are really pleasant to work with. I do think they get a little overwhelmed at times (especially around the holidays), and I was frustrated at times when I couldn't get a hold of them. I used them for Save the Dates, Invitations and Thank-yous, and while they were more than other places, the quality of the product is excellent and I was very pleased with the end result.

s is the perfect place for a NOLA feel- our out of town guests were very impressed and the New Orleanians appreciated the small touches! Also, the delivery of invites was very quick.

t was, a litlle of what I wanted, and she just whipped up amazing things, down to the color and the front. She was also nice about not being pushy on getting the more expensive options. She was a blast to talk to everytime I went in the store. Now I go there for gifts or just to say hi.
