SD Wedding Films

I am so incredibly lucky to have found SD Wedding Films. I grew up watching home movies, and while I absolutely love a well-crafted video, I also wanted the raw footage of the wedding—the small comments, the cute little guest moments, and the reaction shots. And Jacob delivered. We got the Highlights Package which was perfect for us. We got 2 1/2 hours of b-roll, with all the little moments I was looking for, as well as the full moments I needed (the full ceremony, first dance, speeches, cake cutting, etc.) Most videographers would charge even more just to give you the full footage of these moments, but Jacob includes them in the packages, which means the world and is an incredible value. We also got an AMAZING highlight reel. The pacing, shots, and chosen music perfectly captured the feel of our wedding. Jacob even found the small details and integrated them into the video. For example, one of our table numbers was about how many ballroom dances we learned together, and he showed that table number, then cut to us doing our first dance. It was a little thing that just made the video more unique and catered to us. And I need to mention that this video was delivered to us less than 24 hours after our wedding!! I was honestly at a loss for words. Lastly, I want to say that Jacob was a delight on the day of the wedding—his shots and directions were so clear and carefully constructed. His creativity for the shots even informed some of our favorite photos from our photographer. I cannot recommend SD Wedding Films more and I would book them again in a heartbeat.

Jake at SD Wedding Films, was referred to us from friends to capture our big day. Our expectations were most definitely exceeded. In the past, I have worked videographers from brands such as Monster Energy, UFC Gym where they have show cased high professionalism and talents when it comes to cinematography. Jake, matched all of these levels of experience, talent, skill if not surpassed them and created our footage in record time of 10 days. We were amazed with the attention to detail with timing, lighting flow and his direction for posing. We could not have been happier with how everything turned out. Jacob with SD Wedding Films did an FANTASTIC job with our wedding. I am so grateful for hiring Jacob to capture our special day. Jacob was very communicative through emails and very professional in person and throughout the entire process. He was so creative when filming and you could tell he knew exactly what he was doing, and that he enjoyed his work. He also worked amazingly with our photographer as we hired one of our friends. Booking a videographer was one of the last things on our wedding to-do list. We are very awkward on camera and didn’t know if we wanted to have a videographer but we are so glad we did! I can’t recommend SD Wedding Films enough! We were on the fence about whether to hire a videographer for our wedding, and I am so glad that we did. Our main concern was the price, but after doing a lot of research we found that this company offers a lot of flexibility and different packages so you only pay for what you want. With any package, they provide you with the raw footage that has the video linked with the audio, which we learned isn’t necessarily guaranteed with other companies. So, in addition to having our highlight reel, we have all of the footage from our wedding and can go back and watch everything! The day goes by quickly and there’s a lot you miss, so it was great to go back and relive it. The team is also very friendly and pleasant to work with. They have great communication, both in person and in writing. The videographer conducted his work in a very discrete manner, and knows how to work around people and in collaboration with other vendors. It was absolutely worth it, I’m so glad that we decided to hire a videographer. The final product was amazingly well done, and I’m so thankful that we have footage from the day. We weren't sure about booking a wedding videographer but after seeing some of their wedding work we were hooked. We're over the moon excited with our wedding film, its so much fun to watch it again and again. Being able to watch it years from now will bring us so much joy!
