Seabrook and Kiawah have always held a special place in our hearts. When it came time to find a venue, the Seabrook Island Club really brought everything together for us. Not only was it more affordable than many of the Kiawah clubhouses, but the staff was incredibly friendly and extremely professional. The food, drinks, and catering were awesome and easy to arrange. It was more beautiful on our wedding day than we had imagined. Michelle was incredibly helpful and was able to provide excellent recommendations throughout the entirety of our wedding planning! It was a load off our shoulders knowing she was coordinating everything in the background for us. Working with Michelle and the Seabrook Island Club was one of the best decisions we ever made! This was the best experience and crew anyone could want!

As a Wedding Planner in Charleston I can’t say enough amazing things about Seabrook Island Club. Michelle the Venue Manager is an absolute Dream to work with. She is so responsive and so helpful in every way. By far one of the very best venue managers in the industry to work with. The entire Food and Beverage team are top notch to work with and always provide 110% on service and go above and beyond and are always so sweet and thoughtful. Love working with this amazing Food and Beverage Team. The Food is also top notch and it is always amazing and the Chefs are so sweet and fun to work with and put a lot of pride and love into the food they are preparing and cooking for clients Wedding Days. Seabrook Island Club did a fabulous job with our wedding on April 6th!!! Honestly, people are still talking about the food - it was over the top terrific! And how can you beat the ocean views - from the ceremony to the reception - it was just beautiful! Michelle, you and your staff are second to none! We worked on that wedding for over a year and you all came through! Many guests told me it was the nicest wedding they have ever attended - can't thank you enough for making it the BEST DAY EVER!

I got married on 2/23/24. Seabrook was an absolute beautiful venue and all guests couldn’t stop complimenting the venue and the island. All the staff, including Michelle are so nice and accommodating and really do everything they can to give you your dream wedding. My husband said he never had a vision of a dream wedding until after our wedding, it was perfect. Not only will we have this island for wedding memories but also a place to visit every year for an anniversary.

The pricing is unbeatable! When you consider the minimum food and bev, chair and table rentals, etc. that other venues require, Seabrook is a hidden gem. I have no negatives to speak about this gorgeous venue and the staff. Our wedding guests were blown away by our sunset wedding.

We had our wedding at Seabrook and it was absolutely perfect. Michelle and the staff were professional, helpful, communicative, and so great to work with. We had to move the ceremony to the porch area rather than the ocean terrace. I was upset at first but after seeing how beautiful the porch looked and the view it had, I was so pleased. I can’t thank the team enough. It’s an absolutely beautiful venue! We will remember that day forever.

I’m so happy to have chosen Seabrook Island Club as my wedding ceremony and reception venue. While the per person cost seemed pricey up front, I really valued that everything was included – hors d’oeuvres, charcuterie, salads and entrees, desserts, an open bar, champagne toast, all china, glassware, flatware, linens, tables, and chairs, event staff, bridal rooms for the bridal party to get ready, and golf carts on the day-of. I felt it was truly worth what I paid. The venue’s event manager, Michelle, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process, from initial walk through, menu tasting, final walk through, and day-of. I planned the wedding from out-of-state, but Michelle was always quick to answer emails and accommodate any requests. We were so lucky to have perfect weather on wedding day, and the club’s Ocean Terrace was the most beautiful spot for our first looks, bridal party and family photos, the ceremony itself, and just-married sunset photos. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful venue!

From the moment we arrived at Seabrook and met Michelle, we knew that it would be the perfect place to have our wedding. The Ocean Terrace is breathtaking and the views from the cocktail hour and reception spaces are magnificent. Michelle’s communication with myself and my wedding planner was always quick and kind every step of the way. She even gave my in-laws a separate tour of the venue when they were down visiting the Charleston area a few months before our wedding. On the day of the wedding, Michelle checked in with me in the bridal suite, brought us a cooler and ice, and also personally checked in with us during our reception. Our guests were delighted by the views, the food, the drinks, and we had several compliment us on how sweet the team working our wedding was. The wedding package at Seabrook made the process so much easier than some other venues we looked at and was so reasonable. Most of our family and friends as well as ourselves traveled from out of town and Seabrook provided the perfect mini vacation to enjoy before and after our wedding. The wedding was more incredible than I could have ever imagined and our guests have been raving about how much fun they had!

My husband and I got married 08/18/2023, it was an absolutely perfect day! Michelle was so great to work with and the venue is breath taking. Growing up vacationing on Seabrook it was a dream to get married at the beach! Our weather was perfect, and the venue received multiple compliments from guests. The next day we heard so many comments about how great the food was, from the main courses to the hors d'oeuvres. Michelle helped answer many of my questions as we live out of state. I would 100% recommend any couples to get married here! Taken some views, and get some beautiful pictures on top of memories for a life. We will forever be thankful that our big day was shared on this beautiful island!

Seabrook Island was such a beautiful setting for our May 2023 wedding. Everything at Seabrook is thoughtfully designed for weddings. It was very convenient to have had all of the events of the day occuring at one location, without having to worry about transporting everyone/everything to a second location. Seabrook was also very accommodating to a small crowd. We were able to customize for a guest list of 35 without having to pay for things we did not need, as they do not have food and beverage minimums. That being said, there are a lot of options to choose from, and Michelle, the wedding coordinator was very helpful in that aspect. She was quick to answer all of our questions (most electronically, as this was a destination wedding). We ended up having two events in the Island House, the rehearsal dinner and the wedding reception. The staff for both of those events were awesome! They were so attentive to our guests, promptly cleaning up tables, making sure food never ran out, and offering drinks to everyone. Overall, everyone at the wedding had such a great time. We highly recommend Seabrook Island Club!

Our experience at Seabrook was amazing! Michelle was gracious and helpful! We loved every minute taking in the breathtaking views ! The food was exceptional and staff were wonderful and accommodating .

Wow!!!!!! The most incredible wedding. Everything went as planned without a hiccup. Michelle was excellent to work with and I loved that they allow for so many customizations (i.e. We were able to plate salad but have stations of other food. Champagne passing happened at ceremony site, etc). They also have a good backup plan for rain (didn’t have to use it but good to know). Nice area for wedding party to hang prior to ceremony connected to ceremony site. I will note that best photo sites are a bit far to walk around everyone to, so having your car is a plus (our photog drove us to a few spots). Food and drinks were wonderful. Overall perfect wedding (:

All of my guests raved about how beautiful this venue was and kept asking me how I found it! We are so happy we chose Seabrook Island Club to get married! I will never forget it!!

Seabrook Island Club is one of my favorite venues for weddings. Not only is the venue stunning (gorgeous view, beautiful clubhouse, great location) but the staff is amazing!!! So professional from the Sales Manager, Michelle, Event Manager, Hillary right down to every single service staff member. They all go out of their way to make sure each and every guests is well taken care of. As an event planner I never worry about their part. The food is always delicious, on time and everything well presented. If you are looking for a full service venue you should look here first.

Hosting a wedding at Seabrook Island was a dream! I have grown up spending my summers at Seabrook and always wanted to have my wedding here. We actually got married in a church in downtown Charleston, had cocktails on the Ocean Terrace and the reception in the ballroom. It was truly amazing. Michelle was a pleasure to work with and helped us every step of the way. High recommend for a stunning wedding venue!

Seabrook Island Club did an amazing job making our wedding weekend dreams come true!! We had an Indian/American wedding weekend which hasn’t been done before at this venue and Michelle helped us plan the weekend of our dreams. She was there every step of the way and made sure we were able to have the weekend we wanted. The staff who worked the event was amazing and truly went above and beyond. They made sure my husband and I had a chance to eat and did a great job making sure everyone had what they needed. The venues were beautiful - both the ocean terrace and Atlantic ballroom were the perfect backdrop for our events. I couldn’t recommend this venue more - thank you Michelle!!

From the moment we first drove through the gate we knew we wanted to get married on Seabrook Island! The ocean terrace is absolutely beautiful and was the perfect setting for our wedding. The ballroom in the clubhouse was just a beautiful with windows overlooking the ocean, with delicious food to go with it. We worked with Michelle who was amazing and super helpful. The wait staff was on top of it, no one ever had a empty glass! Thank again for EVERYTHING.

Ocean terrace is definitely the spot for someone who wants a beach wedding without the sand. We considered this because of elderly family that have issues moving around. It’s incredibly convenient to get to and the venue is gorgeous right next to the ocean.

Direct My Day works at many venues but we love Seabrook! The Seabrook Island Club runs smoothly and is an amazing place to have a wedding. Michelle the vendor manager is amazing to work with. We got married overlooking the ocean on the Ocean Terrace. We had cocktail hour on the veranda at the clubhouse and the reception in the Atlantic Ballroom. Everything was beautiful and the weather was perfect (October wedding). Our guests were amazed at the beauty of the island and the wedding, too! It's such a hidden gem and special place. They set up and did everything as we requested. I knew nothing about planning a wedding, so I had a lot of questions over the course of the year of my planning. All turned out great!!

Everything was great, from the location to the food and the staff was perfect! I would recommend having your wedding here to anyone!!

After looking at nearly all the Charleston venues, we decided on the first location we toured, Seabrook Island Club. The venue is unbeatable. All our guests made a vacation out of the wedding and shared condos/houses for the long weekend. The landscape is gorgeous and the food is awesome. Kathleen is very experienced and great to work with. Wouldn’t have had our wedding anywhere else!!

The Seabrook Island Club was an absolutely gorgeous venue for our wedding ceremony and reception. We couldn’t have asked for better views-or food! However, we did have an issue with the coordinator. She told us testing the microphones before the ceremony “was not necessary” and then they consistently went out through the ceremony. Later in the evening, she kept disappearing and did not keep things moving along smoothly. My mother had to step in and didn’t get to enjoy herself the way she should’ve. They said the day of coordinating services were included in the venue fee, but she wasn’t around when we needed her most.

We had a beautiful wedding on a Harvest Moon night! Everyone did a fabulous job making sure our evening was perfect! Beautiful place to have a destination wedding.

My daughter, and now son in law, were married on Seabrook Island in October. The ceremony was held on The Ocean Terrace, which was outstanding. The view, environment, and overall experience was out of this world. The reception was held in the Atlantic Ballroom. The staff was professional, friendly, efficient, and extremely willing to please. They only wanted the best for the bride and groom and entire wedding. The chef was available throughout the day and evening, answering any question and wanting to have everything perfect. The food was outstanding. We had many guests comment that they felt like they were in an exclusive restaurant. Everything was fresh, hot, delicious and very well prepared. The wedding director, Kathleen McCormack, was very receptive to ideas from the bride and groom, immediately answered emails and phone calls and was very eager to please. She was always willing to offer suggestions and had many good ideas. I would highly recommend The Seabrook Island Club for a wedding.

STUNNING SETTING!! Our ceremony was on the Ocean Terrace and it was simply stunning with the palm trees serving as a natural altar and the reception across the street at the Clubhouse. Our entire wedding was so happy that everything was incredibly convenient, and the vendors could not have been any more kind and professional. We chose one of the least expensive plated dinner options and the food was AMAZING...the staff did an incredible job staffing the bar, appearing friendly and helpful to our guests - we couldn't be happier!

Our reception was beautifully done, especially since we were able to facilitate not only the ballroom but also a significant amount of the wraparound porch. We would definitely recommend Seabrook Island Club for a reception venue. It would have been nicer to have more support from the wedding coordinator, but luckily we had a great wedding planner who made up for it.

The venue was beautiful especially the Ocean Terrace. The Carolina Room and Atlantic Ballroom were beautiful and fit our wedding size of 130 very well. The food was fantastic (according to the guests) and the cake was beautiful and delicious (done by Angela their pastry chef). Overall I would recommend it!

After looking at several ceremony/reception options with my husband and maid of honor early in the planning process, there was little debate on if Seabrook was the right location. We received great service from the staff throughout the entire process with the best service being delivered on the date of the event. The only minor issue we had was with the accounting department when we submitted checks for payment- it would take several weeks to process. Other than that- nothing could have been done better. The clubhouse is well maintained and all of the spaces are great! My bridal suite was AMAZING as we got ready there- the groom and men were able to get ready in the men's locker room which they joked was not as nice as the girl's option. Overall- we loved it and would get married there again and again. It was simply too convenient to get married on the outside veranda downstairs and travel upstairs for a kicking reception with FANTASTIC food, an amazing bar and a great deck for both the indoor/outdoor feel.

What else can we say but WOW!!! Seabrook Island Club is gorgeous and Kathleen the coordinator did an amazing job. We would highly recommend Seabrook Island Club! Our ceremony was held at The Ocean Terrace which was impeccable. After the ceremony we moved from The Ocean Terrace to the Deavoux Room for the reception. The food and service was spectacular! We received numerous compliments from the guests regarding the food and venue. Thank you Kathleen and Seabrook Island Club for the picture-perfect setting for our wedding day!!

Getting married at Seabrook was great. Kathleen Rogers is very helpful and it's a beautiful venue. We had a storm coming in and Kathleen made sure we got through the ceremony before the storm hit. Everything worked out perfectly. I would definitely recommend!

Seabrook Island was the perfect venue to get married. The ocean terrace was beautiful (you could hear the waves), and the ballroom overlooking the ocean (complete with outdoor veranda) was a hit with our guests. Highly recommend the Seabrook Island Club.

I can't say enough good things about Kathleen Rogers and The Seabrook Island Club. The club is absolutely beautiful with stunning views of both the water and the golf course. Kathleen went above and beyond to make sure my day was perfect. She even set up the candy bar to our exact specifications since we couldn't make it out there the day of to do it ourselves. She made sure everything ran smoothly and thanks to all this we didn't have to hire a day of planner. The food is out of this world and they even used one of my brother's recipes (he's a chef) as one of the passed hors d'oeuvres. Having my wedding reception here was worth every single penny we spent.

Everything and everyone at the Seabrook Island Club made my wedding amazing. The views were amazing, the people were efficient and friendly and they made it effortless for me! I would recommend it to anyone! You definitely get your money's worth because the quality of the spaces, food, and people are top notch!

Seabrook Club made everything seamless and flawless. The location itself was perfect. Kathleen coordinated everything so it all flowed. She took the stress away from us. I am still having people tell me about their favorite appetizers! Our food was amazing, and our cake... It was a GORGEOUS wedding cake.

Seabrook Island Club was the perfect venue! We had both our ceremony and reception at the club. We had a perfect view of the sunset over the ocean! The serving staff was wonderful and the food and cake were amazing. The club had a variety of rooms and outdoor spaces to choose from and we were the only event taking place. Seabrook Island is a private island, so we had plenty of privacy.
