I found my dream dress here! The staff was very friendly and extremely attentive. They had a good grasp on what I was looking for but also encouraged me to try on dresses that I never would have thought I would like. Their alteration prices are very reasonable and their turnaround time is super fast! Highly recommend!

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE! They had so many nice dresses to try and were very helpful with all aspects of what is the wedding dress shopping process! I found my perfect dress and they worked with my budget to make my dreams into a reality! A must visit for all brides shopping for a wedding gown! Thank you again for everything!!!! Jessica at Sealed With A Kiss was everything you'd want from a consultant when shopping for a wedding gown! Not only did she help me find a beautiful gown (which meant coming back right before the store was about to close) but she was patient and understanding. She helped make the experience special without being over the top! She listened and within minutes knew the kind of girl I was and helped me find my dress - which was NOTHING like what I was originally looking for but was stunning and 100% perfect. Being patient and understanding can be challenging with any bride but especially one that lives 482 miles away. I had just gotten engaged a week before Christmas and was in town visiting my parents for the holiday. To celebrate the engagement, my mom and I went dress shopping. Not thinking I would find my actual dress, Jessica helped me put it all together and figure out how to get it back home! But it wasn't just Jessica that was amazing. When I picked up my gown a few months later, the team helped me find the perfect veil to match my dress and even helped me disguise my gown by stuffing the bag with extra fabric so my husband couldn't tell the dress' really 'poofy-ness' as we drove the dress home to Rochester, NY.

Sealed With A Kiss was the first place I tried on wedding dresses and I had such a horrible experience. The consultant I had barely smiled, seemed like she didn't want to help me at all, was super unfriendly, and just put a sour taste in my mouth about wedding dress shopping. I was so upset she took that away from me. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Their selection was not very good. Everything looked the same. Save yourself some time and skip this place.

I had the absolute best experience @ Sealed with A Kiss (RIC location). I had the pleasure of working w/ Nancy & Susan and their service was sincere and just Lovely! Because of Susan I was able to find MY PERFECT DRESS! to be honest they have such a beautiful collection of designer dresses for any brides style. Great Quality (waaaayy better than David's bridal collection in my price range). & I felt like a goddess In each dress Susan picked for me! Like I said LOVELY experience and very attentive staff!!!

5 stars - I wish I could give them more stars!! (Charlottesville location) I am a California bride having a destination wedding in Charlottesville! Jessica and Anna were absolutely amazing and able to make accommodations with my crazy schedule plus being out of town. I love my dress and Sealed With A Kiss has made this portion of the wedding planning process seamless from my first surprise appointment to my last fitting. I highly recommend based on customer service, family-friendly, knowledgeable staff, excellent communication responsiveness, price, and rapid alteration turn-around. Out of town brides or destination wedding brides: this is the spot for you! They truly made me feel like a unique customer and not just a another sale. The shop is clean and adorable, I have enjoyed visiting during each of my C-ville trips. Thank you!

The S.W.A.K. team was amazing! I went to their shop apprehensive about finding a dress and Nancy was able to help me find my DREAM dress. She kept in mind my budget and what i was looking for. She was super friendly and made me feel comfortable and excited about saying yes. After I got my dress i also got my bridesmaids dresses through the shop. Susan was sooo on top of my dress order and was able to help me get my dresses in time for my bachelorette weekend which was super important because all my bridesmaids were out of town. Alterations were a breeze and i was even able to switch up my original veil no problem! I LOVED working with the S.W.A.K. team. Super friendly, professional, and top notch!

The experience I had at Sealed with a Kiss was and is a nightmare. They tricked me into buying a dress for $1300 that was 10 sizes too big promising that their alterations lady could fix the dress. Acting like they gave me a deal, they turned around and double charged the alterations.They cancelled my appointments for fittings 6 times. When I finally got in the store the seamstress was so unbelievably rude that i was going to take my dress somewhere else but the owner promised to fix the situation. The owner ended up altering the dress to the point I couldn't raise my arms up it was so tight. I ended up buying a new dress under my original at Tiffany's (amazing store!) And the alterations were half the price of Sealed with a Kiss. I have paid over $1600 dollars for this dress that they wont "release" because they say I owe $292 for alterations. They are CROOKS!! DON'T GO HERE!!! Pretty sure they will end up like Alfred Angelo they way they run that business.

I had a fantastic experience at Sealed with a Kiss. Having had a bad experience at another dress shop in Waynensboro, this was a breath of fresh air. The staff were friendly and helpful. They helped me pull several dresses that matched what I thought I had in mind, but they also pulled one that I normally wouldn't have chosen. What do you know, that one that I didn't think would be "me" was the one I ended up choosing. It fit me well, was flattering to the curves, was strapless like I wanted, and was unique. It was a bit of a bonus that it was a floor sample too. I ended up paying only about $250 for it and the alterations were relatively inexpensive. I live in San Diego, so I was worried about alterations, but when I purchased it in October 2016, I left it back in VA with my mother until I could come back again in December 2016. I was home for roughly 10 days, and I had my fitting and alterations done within about 7! It was perfect. I also bought a very lovely 2-layered veil here with beautiful beading. I suppose this place also left an impression on me because I have fond memories of Charlottesville having gone to school there. Finding a dress here will remain such a special experience for me.

I am a maid of honor for my best friends wedding! We were so excited to go here and look at bridesmaid dresses with our group. The women who was helping us was rude. There were no sizes under 6. The women talked about one of the other girls saying "the other girl thinks she is size .... but she definitely is not, to a couple of the other bridesmaids". I feel that is extremely unprofessional. The dresses were also very uncomfortable and the women said they are not supposed to be comfortable.

I bought my wedding dress and veil from Sealed with a Kiss. I had a wonderful experience trying on dresses in their shop and they had a beautiful selection. I could not have found a more perfect dress for myself, and I went to a lot of different shops prior to this one. My only complaint was that they were not upfront about the administrative fees they charged for shopping and being measured for a dress. Had they told me from the beginning, I would not have been as frustrated, but to just be charged at the end without notice after finding the perfect dress did put a damper on the experience. However, they had a wonderful selection and I did get a beautiful dress for a reasonable price.

Sealed with a Kiss is the only bridal salon I needed to visit. From the first afternoon I stopped in to look at dresses without trying any on, they gave me such superb customer service. I came back for a Justin Alexander trunk show and was given amazing attention by the consultants. They even had champagne for myself, my mom, and my friends! I didn't feel pressured at all to purchase my favorite dress (but I did anyway). I would 100% recommend anyone else to come and try on dresses here. They have so many beautiful and not too expensive options here!

From the moment that I called for an appointment until the moment that I left, I felt like I was truly cared for. Phyllis was truly amazing and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone! My appointment at Sealed With A Kiss was amazing. One I will remember for the rest of my life. I went in hoping to find a dress but not stressing if I didn't. The appointment was laid back and my consultant Jennie was amazing. Looking back on all the pictures that were taken of me in dresses Jennie was in the background and she always had the biggest smile on her face and you could tell that she loved her job. Jennie made my experience so amazing and helped me to find my dream dress! She was very accommodating to me and our budget. She never let me put on anything outside my budget and she always checked the price before putting me in. She made sure to go over all the pricese and the invoice before we agreed she never let me or my parents feel like we had to buy something just because I fell in love with it she would show me other options and at the end of the day I got everything perfect because of her. I had a great experience at Sealed With A Kiss in Charlottesville! This was my first time trying on wedding gowns and it went better than I could have ever imagined. I went there with the mindset of just trying on dresses and seeing what style I liked, but of course I fell in love with the first dress I put on and ended up coming back to it after I tried on 10+ more gowns (and got it!!). They were very mindful of my budget and what I was looking for! The ladies at the store were more than helpful and very kind/accommodating to my mom and grandparents who came with me. We even did a celebratory toast after I said "yes to the dress!" They made the experience so much fun! I can't wait for my dress to be here!

The search was over! After painstakingly scrolling and paging through endless online wedding gown images I had found it - the perfect wedding dress. I walked into Sealed With A Kiss not knowing at the time if they carried it or not...EEK! They did - I tried it on and said, "yes to the dress." Except - my budget was no more than $1000 and the cost was $1200 plus another $400 for shipping, $1600 dollars, dream on. I thought passing the cost of shipping onto me, the customer, was unusual and seemed that should be their cost of doing business. Needless to say I got another dream and loved it even more!

Thank you so much to the staff at Sealed With A Kiss for all of their expertise and help with the purchase of our daughter's wedding dress!! She looked "stunning"...I watched the groom as the bride stepped out to walk down the aisle and he cried...something the mother of the bride will never forget.

Sealed with a Kiss offered a good variety of selections for dresses. They were helpful and friendly and allowed me to come back multiple times to try on dresses. They let us take photos and never rushed us out even if we were past our appointment time frame. I found and purchased not only my dress there but also my veil and accessories. They also assisted with ordering bridesmaids dresses for me. Pricing was reasonable and fair. They also handled all of my alterations. Overall would highly recommend Susan and her team at SWAK.

I got my wedding dress from them about a year before my wedding. I knew nothing about dresses, fittings, undergarments, etc. And I still know nothing about it because they told me nothing - the dress fit, so they sold it to me and I left with it that day. I should NOT have been sold that dress without being informed about what undergarments I would need, and most importantly the dress was far too long and they told me that I could fix that problem with heels! Not knowing any better, I believed them, and when I tried to practice dancing in my dress with my new heels, a week before the wedding, I was tripping on my dress. It was a horrible experience and I am very upset with this bridal salon for not asking about fittings or anything - they were too eager to get me out with the dress when they could have made more money by simply telling me what I needed to know. My dress was beautiful, but I could have gotten it somewhere else instead. I hate giving bad reviews, but after that frantic week before the wedding, I would stress to any new brides - DO NOT GO HERE.

I visited at least 6 other stores, before returning to Sealed with a Kiss (the first store I visited) and purchasing a Casablanca Couture Gown. Susan, the owner, stayed late one evening as I narrowed it down to two options with my mom and matron of honor. We were allowed to take pictures, and Susan gave very helpful opinions, as well as checked on alteration costs with the designers, while not putting any pressure on us. When my dress came in and the hem wasn't straight, they immediately shipped it back and the designer corrected the error, with no cost to me. It arrived in time for the wedding and fit perfectly with no alterations needed.

This store is amazing. The owner created a beautiful bussel for my gown and they were just so sweet and fun to work with.

I found my dream dress at West Main Bridal, and the girls there took care of my from that moment on. Alterations were perfect and reasonable.

I was very excited after traveling all over VA for months and finally found "the dress" right in my town. Most brides love to be pampered in fancy bridal shops, but you are only paying extra for that. I only paid $590 for my gown (Floor Model). I am small and no matter were I went I had to order the dress or have it altered. That can take up to 6-10 weeks. At that point I was risking it...The owner was able to altered the dress beautifully. The only two problems I encounter was the appointment scheduling and that the all train hooks broke during the event. But in general love the dress!

Luckily, West Main Bridal was the first store I went dress shopping at, and the last. I found my dress during my first appointment, although I was not in love with the dress the way it was, I was amazed by the affordability of it. Susan made very complex alterations, changing the way fabric on the dress fell, changing the tuck-ups in the dress, so that the dress became exactly what I had envisioned. Susan could not have been more wonderful to work with. I was living out of state while planning our wedding. The weekend my dress came in, I happened to be in town and Susan was able to get me in for all my fittings and alterations within one day. She worked on the dress, and had me come back and worked on it some more until it was everything I had dreamed of. I loved my dress so much as it was everything I wanted, and I had never seen another like it. I had also been having troubling finding a veil. The most beautiful veil I had ever seen had just come in to West Main, and Susan was able to alter it to be exactly what I wanted. She also made the jewelry that I wore on my wedding day, which complemented my dress beautifully. We had bought a steamer to steam the dresses ourselves at home. The evening before the wedding we found out that the steamer did not work. It was 4:45 PM and no dry cleaners were open (and would not have helped us anyway). Desperately, I called West Main and they told me to bring the dresses in and they would steam them. They steamed the wrinkles out of my gown as well as the five bridesmaids dresses and then refused to accept any payment! I was floored. They literally saved the day and I could not be more grateful. West Main is truly incredible in all aspect of their products and services.

West Main Bridal offers a convenient location with good service on the front. The sales clerks are kind and helpful. The ideal person to shop here would be somebody who can find a dress in their size. They didn't have the dress I wanted in stock, so I had it ordered (in faith). West Main did a great job measuring me and getting my size. I never felt pressured to "do more" or to "buy more", which was nice. And when my dress arrived, they hemmed it to perfection. They did a great job providing the dress, hemming it, and making a bustle. If this is all you need, West Main is the place to go. However, I also needed some decorative items done on my dress and the work was not done well. The excuse was that there wasn't enough fabric, but my mom was able to fashion something even prettier out of even less fabric. And they even charged me $40+ for this service saying they had steamed the dress (a notable crease on the bust they had promised to take out was still there, I ended up getting it pressed later), and that they had given me a discount. I also had asked for a lace/beading patch to be removed from my dress. They removed the patch, and kept the lace/beading piece as well. In short, West Main has the bread and butter of the business down, but could improve in handling some of the details that go into purchasing an expensive wedding gown.

West Main's staff made buying a wedding dress an easy process. Everyone that assisted me in the selection of my dress was kind, courteous, and gave opinions that were respectful and useful. The owner was especially helpful when she fitted me for the dress, advising me to go with a specific size rather than a couture fit because she knew that given how my chosen dress ran, I most likely wouldn't need an extra inch taken in in the bust. This advice saved me a few dollars, which I great appreciated! When my dress arrived, exactly when it was meant, she was correct and it didn't even need any alterations! The price I paid for my dress was also on the lower end of the price range for that style, given my online investigations of what the dress usually sold for. The whole experience was excellent.

I loved my dress that I got here, but the service could have been better. I got the dress "custom-made" to my measurements because I have a unique figure and have a hard time finding dresses that fit the way they're supposed to. When I came from Texas to Virgina to have my fitting, not only was the dress way too big, but the seamstress wasn't even there. We had to come in on a Sunday just so she could see me before I went back home. She charged a lot for alterations and the bustle, which ended up breaking halfway through the reception. I would recommend getting your dress here, but getting it altered somewhere else.

My dress was absolutely beautiful and flawless, and everybody is still complimenting on it. Jessica helped me try on every dress I wanted in the store and helped me find the best that suited me. A lot of alterations were needed in the following months as I lost some weight, and they were able to fix the dress over and over again without any flaws!

My dress was gorgeous and they helped me customize it perfectly. However, they are really full of themselves, and they like to charge you $50 for every little alteration. Also, my dress looked a little dirty on the bottom when I received it, and they didn't have any space to store it until closer to my wedding day.

This is the place to buy your wedding gown!! They have fabulous dresses at afforable prices! The staff is extremely helpul and honestly care about how you feel and look in your gown! They will help make sure everything is perfect with your gown for the big day!

I did not expect to find a dress I could afford at West Main but was very surprised when I found the dress of my dreams for an extremely affordable price. The alterations were expertly done at the store and my mom also found beautiful clothes for the wedding there

Going into the wedding dress shopping experience, I tried on several J.Crew wedding gowns before going here. My mom and I also went to David's Bridal, but I didn't feel like I had found the right dress. I fell in love with a Casablanca gown from a magazine and went with my sister to try the gown on. I was able to try the gown on and several others. Lisa, our dress consultant, did a great job picking out similar dresses for me to try on. Ultimately, I ended up buying another Casablanca dress that was understated and feminine. Like all brides, I loved my dress, and am thrilled that I was able to come here. Compared to the other bridal dress options, I think my dress was a great value for the stunning product. The service wasn't excellence, and Lisa was helpful without being pushy. It was a great experience. :)
