I am small and no matter were I went I had to order the dress or have it altered. That can take up to 6-10 weeks. At that point I was risking it...The owner was able to altered the dress beautifully. The only two problems I encounter was the appointment scheduling and that the all train hooks broke during the event. But in general love the dress!

very complex alterations, changing the way fabric on the dress fell, changing the tuck-ups in the dress, so that the dress became exactly what I had envisioned. Susan could not have been more wonderful to work with. I was living out of state while planning our wedding. The weekend my dress came in, I happened to be in town and Susan was able to get me in for all my fittings and alterations within one day. She worked on the dress, and had me come back and worked on it some more until it was everything I had dreamed of. I loved my dress so much as it was everything I wanted, and I had never seen another like it. I had also been having troubling finding a veil. The most beautiful veil I had ever seen had just come in to West Main, and Susan was able to alter it to be exactly what I wanted. She also made the jewelry that I wore on my wedding day, which complemented my dress beautifully. We had bought a steamer to steam the dresses ourselves at home. The evening before the wedding we found out that the steamer did not work. It was 4:45 PM and no dry cleaners were open (and would not have helped us anyway). Desperately, I called West Main and they told me to bring the dresses in and they would steam them. They steamed the wrinkles out of my gown as well as the five bridesmaids dresses and then refused to accept any payment! I was floored. They literally saved the day and I could not be more grateful. West Main is truly incredible in all aspect of their products and services.

stock, so I had it ordered (in faith). West Main did a great job measuring me and getting my size. I never felt pressured to "do more" or to "buy more", which was nice. And when my dress arrived, they hemmed it to perfection. They did a great job providing the dress, hemming it, and making a bustle. If this is all you need, West Main is the place to go. However, I also needed some decorative items done on my dress and the work was not done well. The excuse was that there wasn't enough fabric, but my mom was able to fashion something even prettier out of even less fabric. And they even charged me $40+ for this service saying they had steamed the dress (a notable crease on the bust they had promised to take out was still there, I ended up getting it pressed later), and that they had given me a discount. I also had asked for a lace/beading patch to be removed from my dress. They removed the patch, and kept the lace/beading piece as well. In short, West Main has the bread and butter of the business down, but could improve in handling some of the details that go into purchasing an expensive wedding gown.

r the dress, advising me to go with a specific size rather than a couture fit because she knew that given how my chosen dress ran, I most likely wouldn't need an extra inch taken in in the bust. This advice saved me a few dollars, which I great appreciated! When my dress arrived, exactly when it was meant, she was correct and it didn't even need any alterations! The price I paid for my dress was also on the lower end of the price range for that style, given my online investigations of what the dress usually sold for. The whole experience was excellent.

m Texas to Virgina to have my fitting, not only was the dress way too big, but the seamstress wasn't even there. We had to come in on a Sunday just so she could see me before I went back home. She charged a lot for alterations and the bustle, which ended up breaking halfway through the reception. I would recommend getting your dress here, but getting it altered somewhere else.

rom a magazine and went with my sister to try the gown on. I was able to try the gown on and several others. Lisa, our dress consultant, did a great job picking out similar dresses for me to try on. Ultimately, I ended up buying another Casablanca dress that was understated and feminine. Like all brides, I loved my dress, and am thrilled that I was able to come here. Compared to the other bridal dress options, I think my dress was a great value for the stunning product. The service wasn't excellence, and Lisa was helpful without being pushy. It was a great experience. :)
