Ryan officiated our wedding on short notice and exceeded our expectations. Our officiant gave us less than two weeks notice, and Ryan stepped in and worked tirelessly to create and execute a customized program that aligned with our dream wedding. He was very responsive to our questions, and served as a valuable sounding board for advice and support (mixed with humor and a smile). And he willingly stayed to party and dance the night away with us. Ryan gave us the wedding we wanted, and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone who can bring your dreams on paper to reality.

Ryan was great! He was so easy to work with, and he was always very professional. He put a lot of effort into our ceremony script and made sure that we felt comfortable every step of the way. I would definitely recommend working with him.

Where do I begin? Before I contacted Ryan, my fiancé and I had been searching for someone to marry us. We met and interviewed so many officiants but none of them seemed to be passionate about what they do, nor were they passionate about seeing me and my fiancé’s vision come to light. I was on the verge of giving up until I came across “Sealed with a Kurtis”!! I said to myself that is a cute name I am going to reach out to this person. I sent a message and the first day Ryan and I spoke he was so respectful, cheerful and very transparent about everything. He was upfront about cost and the services he offered. The first meeting we met at a local café where Ryan got to know my fiance and me, he asked why did we want to be married and how we met, etc. Really getting to know US. We met several times and spoke on other occasions after that. Ryan was always available to chat, answer questions he always responded back to text messages as well as emails. My wedding day would not have been what it was if it were not for Ryan and his loving personality, caring spirit and just there for ME. I was extremely nervous, not to mention it rained really hard on my wedding day but when it was time for the ceremony, I was blown away at the things Ryan had put together just for us, he remembered every detail we had told him about how we first met and when my husband proposed, it was so sweet. Days later people were calling and texting me asking me where did you meet your officiant? They all wanted his contact information. Ryan, you were true to your word and did exactly everything that you said you were going to do. I am so happy we decided to officiate our wedding, he sealed it with a Kurtis for sure!!!!! Ryan Kurtis is AMAZING. My husband and I found Ryan on a whim online. He seemed kind of new to officiating weddings, but we were drawn to the fact that he was young and there was something about him and his services that just seemed like we'd connect. We reached out to him and scheduled our initial phone conversation right away. Straight off the bat, we knew he was going to be awesome. We had 3 in-person meetings with Ryan in total, and they were a mix of logistics and him getting an understanding of who we are as a couple. Believe it or not, Will and I thoroughly enjoyed each of our meetings - it was like getting together with a friend. The best thing about Ryan is that he will take the time to really bring your ceremony vision to life. We wanted something that was no-frills, efficient, but also personal to our journey as a couple. Ryan exceeded all of our expectations. No one really talks about the ceremony when it comes to a wedding, but our guests kept telling us how much they loved the words that Ryan spoke. He sprinkled in some humor where appropriate and told our story with such conviction and emotion. Professionally, he was a joy to work with - responsive and super organized. I highly recommend him to anyone that is seeking an officiant. While our ceremony was short and sweet, he definitely has the ability to do far more complex ceremonies. We feel so lucky that Ryan was part of our big day!

Ryan did the perfect job officiating our wedding. He prepared an elegant, thoughtful speech to go along with a beautiful poem. My wife and I could not be more happy with how things went.

Ryan was absolutely amazing! We wanted something easy and non-religious, but still meaningful and he provided everything we could have asked for. We had a prep call where Ryan listened to what we wanted and learned about myself and the groom. He came prepared with a beautiful reading that had everyone in the family crying. Ryan was the perfect officiant for our wedding! Our ceremony was so personalized after just a few meetings with Ryan. We loved how he took the time to speak with us both as a couple and individually to truly get a feel for our story. We wanted a short ceremony with a few Jewish elements, but which all of our guests could feel a part of. Ryan delivered! He absolutely made our wedding ceremony accessible for everyone, succinctly explaining the different traditions and rituals he was performing. Our wedding day would not have been as perfect as it was without Ryan!

After getting engaged in April 2017 and booking our perfect wedding venue for September 2018 (due to lack of availability), my (now) husband and I decided that we did not want to have to wait over 1 year to celebrate our marriage. While eloping at a courthouse was always a possibility, I am so glad that we instead chose to have Ryan officiate a small intimate ceremony with just the two of us. While eloping can sometimes sound impersonal, Ryan did an incredible job researching and personalizing our ceremony to incorporate our interfaith Muslim and Jewish traditions. He turned a quiet event into an unforgettable day that my husband and I will forever cherish. We were beyond thrilled with Ryan’s services and would unequivocally recommend him for any bride and groom who want a personalized ceremony instead of a generic script.

Ryan did an AMAZING job as our wedding officiant! He took the time to get to know each of us and what we wanted out of our wedding ceremony. He used that knowledge to craft a ceremony that fit our vision and was completely unique and completely our own. We wanted an officiant who was willing to perform an interfaith marriage and use both religious and secular elements that we requested without hesitation or judgement.
