Sean and his team were simply the best vendors at our wedding! We couldn't be happier with the photos. Not only was he fun to work with but he helped to keep everything on schedule. If you are looking for a photographer for your wedding, I can't recommend Sean enough!

Sean and his crew were wonderful. They showed up prepared and even brought a bottle of champagne for us to begin the celebration. He made sure we got every shot we had previously discussed and keep the energy going throughout the 12 hours we were together. He is by far worth every penny and I had no idea how many great photo's I would get until he but them together in an amazing slide show that we were able to share with our friends and family.

If I could give 10 stars Sean would get 11! He is amazing at what he does and I couldn't be happier that he was there to capture the best day of my life! Sean is very professional but very easy to get a long with. I would recommend Sean and his team to everyone!

Sean is an amazing photographer. After getting our engagement photos back, both of our families could not wait until they saw the wedding day photos. We have only seen the preview so far, but they are everything we expected and more. Sean is a genuinely nice guy to work with, and a complete professional. He has a system, contingencies, immense experience and you cannot find better in Richmond. His lighting techniques are the stuff of legend. Even though Hurricane Matthew poured down rain on our wedding day, Sean was able to find beautiful indoor settings for him and his team to use for all of our bridal party portraits and was actually excited to get to do a rain shot. Do not miss the opportunity to interview Sean, and get him booked EARLY!

We were so pleased with Sean and his team! He not only did our wedding day photography - but also our engagement photo session and a boudoir photo session. Sean was recommended to us by a friend, and we knew immediately after we met with him the first time that he was OUR photographer. His vibe was very collaborative and exciting - he brimmed with ideas for our photos from the very beginning. Sean is a creative and "edgy" photographer that is very focused on lighting - he's got gadgets and cool picture "toys" galore! We loved his concepts. His pricing packages were very fair and we found they were actually a bit less than some of Sean's competitors in the area - even though his quality and his years of experience were greater. Our engagement photo shoot was a lot of fun - we spent an hour at Maymont and another hour in Church Hill at sunset. Sean took the time to pose us while keeping things fun and engaging. We loved the pictures from that shoot - which we used in an album for our wedding guest book. My boudoir photo shoot was AWESOME! I was very nervous before the shoot - but followed Sean's advice and brought along my best friend. That plus a bottle of prosecco helped me brave a couple of hours worth of posing sexily... And it was actually fun! At no time did I feel uncomfortable - Sean was great. He made sure to have a female intern there as well. I used the pictures from the shoot to build an album for my groom's wedding gift. The pictures looked amazing! On the day of our wedding, Sean had three assistants/interns - so we knew he'd have things under control. Everyone showed up right on schedule. Sean and his team were everywhere to get pictures of everything - but we never felt like they were invasive. On the contrary, many times we didn't even notice them - even though they were right there. During the reception, Sean was out on the dance floor whooping it up with everyone - and still grabbing amazing shots. I give an enthusiastic 5-star rating for Sean DeWitt Photography... Highly recommend!

Sean was the best photographer we could have ever picked. He was wonderful to work with and his eye for detail really makes every picture he takes special. Sean was able to capture not only the details of the wedding day, but the excitement and happiness everyone was feeling that day on camera. I truly loved working with Sean and would happily tell everyone that he is the best photographer you will ever work with!

I cannot say enough good things about Sean. He is very professional, fun, and of course talented! I can't stop looking at my wedding photos. All of my friends and family commented on how fabulous they thought he was before they saw any photos. I agree with all of the other reviews people have written. From the time we signed on to the present Sean has been incredibly accommodating. He will always be my first choice.

Sean is absolutely amazing and talented. He is so energetic and easy to work with. Our engagement and wedding pictures turned out absolutely perfect! Will definitely be using Sean again in the future.

After our engagement pictures were taken and before we saw them, my then fiance asked how much we were paying Sean. When I told him, he said "He should be getting more!" He is down to earth, engaging, and enjoyable to work with. He takes the most unique and gorgeous pictures! I have seen a few of the pics from our wedding, and am totally looking forward to seeing the rest of them! I cannot recommend him more.

My husband and I used Sean DeWitt for our photographer and he was amazing! We did engagement pictures and day of wedding photos. Day of the wedding, he was excellent! In addition to the beautiful pictures, he cared a lot about us as a couple. He helped us achieve what we wanted during the reception, to even include acting as go-between for the DJ and venue when he saw potential hiccups. He is creative, easy to work with, and professional. I would recommend Sean to any and all brides within the Richmond area!

I booked Sean for my wedding and got my engagement shoot, bridal shoot, unlimited time on my wedding day, a photo booth for the reception, and all of the digital prints for the $3,000. He was well worth the money. First and foremost, Sean is a fantastic person. He's very nice, outgoing, and funny, and will make even the most awkward of brides feel comfortable being photographed. He also does model photography, so he has a great background to help people be more comfortable behind the camera. In fact, he even does a short tutorial on posing the first time you work with him that you can use throughout the duration. As far as the wedding day, Sean captured so many moments from my wedding that I didn't even know occurred. As the bride, I feel like I missed a lot of things on that day...that is, until I saw Sean's photographs. Not only that, but the prints themselves are some of the most gorgeous photos I've ever seen. I had over 10 wedding guest, unsolicited, tell me "your photographer was fantastic" or "he was so nice" or "every time I turned around he was taking pictures". This is exactly the type of thing I want to hear! Please talk to Sean if you're getting married in or around Richmond, Virginia - he's worth it!
