Sean did a fabulous job with our wedding photos. My husband and his groomsmen couldn’t figure out how to tie their bow ties so they were very late to their shoot- long story short ...
our couple photos were pushed later and it was already dark outside. Sean did a fabulous job navigating an excellent couple shoot without much natural lighting. He had of course brought his own equipment but he knew how to leverage it expertly so we got stunning evening photos. Sean is super happy to point out best angles / pose ideas / and will make sure you get photos with all the people on your list (even after you get distracted during the wedding). He is on top of things!
Sean continued to go above and beyond even after the wedding - he recently helped us find our way to specific high res images over two years since our wedding (we panicked that we had lost them forever!).
I can not recommend Sean highly enough!
Sean & Jason killed it at our wedding! We had such a blast with them, I can't thank and recommend them enough. They know exactly what they're doing and the pictures I've received s...
o far are just beyond. I cannot WAIT to get them all!!! Ugh, amazing! Thank you Sean, you guys really captured how perfect our wedding was!

sion to capture gorgeous and interesting shots, would be perfect for our wedding. Sean also captured our engagement photos, which were just and beautiful and fun to create. My husband and I got married in a fairly remote part of New York, with little to no cell phone reception, and Sean made sure he knew exactly when and where he needed to be several days beforehand. We had some interesting weather moments and last minute schedule changes throughout the day, but Sean rolled with everything beautifully and kept us laughing all the while, which made for incredible photos! His work is professional, stunning and completely captures the personality and feel of our day. Thank you Sean for such incredible work!!!
Sean was amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better guy to work with. He is super understanding, creative and very helpful in getting your vision to come across in his photog...
raphy. I was recommended to use him from a friend and I am so glad we went with Sean. Look no further and book him for your wedding!
Working in the wedding industry as a DJ for over a decade, I have come across hundreds of photographers first hand. When I proposed to my now wife last September, I knew exactly wh...
o my own personal vendors would be without hesitation. I had crossed paths with Sean Gallant many times in working the same weddings as he, and had always been impressed with his approach to photographing his clients, his pleasant and colorful demeanor on the job, and perhaps most importantly, his commitment to getting the best possible shots. I had witnessed him endure vicious sunburn, handle bridal parties of 20+ people with ease, physically go into the ocean to shoot his clients, stand drenched in the rain, and so much more. My wife and I wanted our wedding photos to be something different. We got married at a speak-easy in Hoboken NJ with a small crowd, did not have a bridal party, and did not want your typical 'group of friends jumping in the air simultaneously' type of shots (though I am sure Sean could have provided these with ease if we wanted him to). We wanted a REAL approach. We wanted to look great in our photos, but also wanted out shots to be as if the viewer was simply an onlooker at our wedding, and happened to capture us in the perfect moment, as the perfect lighting fell on us perfectly. While I thought I knew exactly what I was getting in booking Sean, he still managed to blow me away with the final batch of photos he provided to us. My confidence in him was not only upheld, but further reinforced upon hiring him myself. This is the best photographer there is folks - I am trying here but really can not put to words what a find Sean is. He is a down to earth guy with a supreme mastery of his craft. He loves to show off his photos on the small LCD screen of his camera as he shoots them, and it is clear that not only do his clients love what he does, but he loves it just as much. Thank you Sean for your talent, dedication, company, and of course, the photos that we will never get tired of swooning over.

r wedding and he brought Monica. She was an absolute pleasure to work with, as well. Especially since we opted not to have a videographer, the photos were one of the most important parts of our wedding to us. He had the perfect mix of family, friends, candid, fun, professional, portraits, nature... I could go on forever! His prices are completely fair and the breakdown of payments was helpful. Even during the wedding, Sean was so considerate of my husband and I. He would bring us inside when he saw we were getting overheated, always checked to see if I needed water, and diffused EVERY stressful situation. He was more than just a photographer to us and we would ABSOLUTELY recommend hiring him for any event, especially a wedding. Thank you again, Sean and Monica!!!

on. Sean made use of a drone to take spectacular aerial shots that we were truly impressed with. We ordered two framed prints from Sean that were both beautiful, one of which was a photo taken from the drone. My wife and I highly recommend Sean to anyone searching for a wedding photographer.

os, we knew we could trust Sean with photographing our special day. Sean is professional and fun and his prices are reasonable, a difficult combination to find. In the months leading up to our big day, Sean often responded to my many emails quickly. We worked with him about a month before the wedding for our engagement photos. He broke the ice and made being photographed fun, especially for my husband who does not like to be the center of attention. On our wedding day Sean and his assistant photographer Angel, were able to capture every moment and every guest in a true artistic light. I received my photos last week and I cannot stop smiling while looking at our families and friends having fun. Sean and Angel were indeed the photographers we were meant to use on our wedding day and I am so grateful for all the memories they both captured. I look forward to sharing them with everyone at Christmastime! Thank you Sean and Angel for your artistic lens and capturing important moments, faces, and emotions on our wedding day!

And most of my friends had a hard time getting in touch with their photographers after their weddings. But Sean was always quick to respond to my emails which I really appreciated. He's the best, hire him!

bove all else dealing with the wedding planning, I was most worried about hiring the perfect wedding photographer. We met with Sean and had a great conversation, looked through a huge sampling of his work, and left feeling like we didn't really need to look any further since we were so impressed with him personally and professionally. Since I had so much anxiety about hiring the perfect photographer I didn't want to go with the first person we met with, so we went on to meet with two others who I felt strongly about. In the end, I found myself comparing everyone to Sean - so that was that! After talking everything through at our very first meeting my mind was completely at ease. Sean promised to personalize our experience and photographs and I am so happy to say that he delivered and went above and beyond our expectations. Our photos came out incredible and he caught so many moments that I never could have known to ask for. I've gotten such kind and exuberant comments from friends and family about the photos, I'm so glad that all these months later they're still a topic of discussion! I absolutely cannot wait to see how our album turns out, but I know for sure that it will be beautiful since Sean is working on it with us. I cannot recommend Sean enough, you will not be disappointed with his beautiful work and friendly personality.
I wouldn't say he is worth the price. Photos weren't very creative, did not offer a lot of direction in terms of posing, background choices were poor - my aunt could have taken the...
same photos. There were a lot of missed opportunities given the beauty of the venue and the time we had to dedicate to photos. Waited a very long time to receive anything which was way beyond what we contracted. He was a bit rude during and after the event. Would not recommend.
We are very happy that Sean Gallant was our wedding photographer. He was great to work with and very responsive to all of our questions and concerns leading up to the wedding. It...
helped that we had an engagement photo session with Sean prior to the wedding so we could all get accustomed to each other and his style. Our wedding day was 95 degrees but that didn't stop Sean from suggesting several beautiful outdoor shots around our venue when he easily could have opted for more indoor air-conditions spots. And Sean made sure to get all the group shots of family and friends that we were hoping for, even though that is tough to do once the reception starts. (TIP: Make sure to have a list ready to go of all your must-have group shots!) We received back all of our pictures in less than 2 months and they came out great!
Sean and his assistant Jason did such an amazing job with our wedding photos. They were right on the time, and ready to shoot every moment. Sean also did our engagement photos. My ...
husband and I are very shy people and we don't like being photography, but he made us comfortable and relaxed enough that you don't even notice how stress I was along with a stiff neck! On our wedding day, he captured every special moment on the dance floor, our first dance, people dancing and our first look was incredible. I would definitely recommend Sean Gallant Photography to anyone. He is the guy to capture that twinkle in the bride and groom eyes when they look at each other. YOU ROCK SEAN!
I can not say enough about Sean. I can start with you will not be sorry choosing him as your photographer. He was an absolute pleasure to work with, he promised me he would give me...
what I want and he did so much more. He gave me everything I didn't know I wanted. I did not have to worry about a single thing the day of the wedding he was there with our talked about list of must haves, printed and in hand. I did not miss a single moment. It's been months since our wedding and I still find myself starring at my own wedding pictures. I am still having relatives of guest at the wedding asking to see our pictures, and I have no problem showing them off. I will never be able to thank him enough capturing our memories to have forever.
Sean has a knack for details as well as landscape! His blog says and shows it all! That is what attracted us to him in the first place. When we first contacted Sean to be our weddi...
ng photographer, he got back to us almost immediately. Soon after, we scheduled an appointment at his studio/apartment to view more of his work. His blog doesn't do justice because you can only view one full wedding and snippets of others. Any questions we asked him, he was able to respond with a picture example! Also, his quality of wedding books were unlike any other. The book we choose has a glass cover and is from Italy.
After booking Sean we scheduled our engagement shoot which was included in our package. Sean assured us that an engagement shoot was ideal so that we could spend time with one another prior to the wedding. Boy was he right! Unless you're a celebrity, nobody is used to having papparazzi! The shoot confirmed our allegiance to him and he proved to us and that he was willing to get dirty (ie: grass, rocks, etc.)
On the day of the wedding, his team was professional and creative. As promised, his second photographer shot in a similar style to him and we loved all the pictures. The morning of our wedding, it was raining. During the day, it cleared up. Sean a d team captured all the beautiful moments, rain or shine. Since we were adventurous, we even got some beautiful hazy/drizzling shots! The best part of it all was Sean's personality. What a down-to-earth guy, he made us and our party feel comfortable throughout. Would I hire Sean again? In a heartbeat!!
The pros: Sean will work with your budget. We liked the photos we did receive.
The cons: There were some missed shots (outside church!! & in the venue garden) so we're actually ...
doing a photo shoot with another photographer to get those.
Most brides choose to have a wedding in the summer or spring because the weather is usually more predictable, and of course photos come out so much nicer right? Well, guess again! ...
My husband and I decided to have a fairytale Winter Wonderland wedding this past February, and Sean played such a valuable part from start to finish. Sean helped us plan our day appropriately to ensure that we had all the pictures that we wanted without ever feeling like we were rushed or forced to be away from our family and friends. Sean, and another photographer that he had recommended, arrived at our hotel bright and early the morning of our wedding even though it had snowed the night before. Having worked with Sean for our Engagement photos, we expected nothing less. Sean came early and stayed late with us to make sure that he didn't miss a single memory. Sean made sure that we enjoyed every moment of this very important day while capturing incredible moments that are the topic of conversation till this very day. Sean was very respectful of the churches strict rules and was still able to capture photos that we had never seen before in past weddings. Following our ceremony, we had a blast with our wedding party and Sean while he worked his magic with a fresh white snowy background. Having our amazing photos made standing in the freezing weather worth every minute. In a nutshell, Sean was amazing to work with!!!
So far we have done our engagement photos with Sean and cannot wait for the wedding. Sean is so easy to work with and knows exactly how to get the best out of you. Besides being so...
personable, funny and committed to exactly what you want, the work that Sean does with lighting and eventual editing of photos is simply amazing. We were in disbelief when we saw the final product and were so happy with how our engagement photos came out.
We cannot to work with Sean again at the wedding and see how the photos come out.

n photo opps! He seems to have a great eye for the perfect shot and I'm SO excited for our wedding photos! From the engagement shoot alone, I feel confident that we made the right decision in our wedding photographer and love that I feel so comfortable that we selected the right vendor (goodness knows I have enough other things to worry about). Overall, he's a great guy, fun to talk to, and has the exact style we were looking for in a photographer. I'd recommend him to anyone.

e used Sean for our wedding earlier this year, and I honestly could not be happier with the service he provided. Sean was professional, responsive, friendly, and (most importantly) an excellent photographer.
Sean's style of photography really caught my eye when searching out vendors online; he is able to do great posed shots but also captures a lot of wonderful candid moments. We met with Sean and immediately hit it off; he was friendly, easy to talk to, and gave us honest feedback to our ideas and suggestions about our wedding photography. Sean immediately replied to the very many emails I sent him leading up to our day, and even spent an hour on the phone with me the night before Thanksgiving (we got married that weekend) going over the timeline to make sure everything was just right.
Sean also did an engagement session with us a few months before the wedding. We failed to schedule it ahead of time, but Sean was super accommodating to our schedules; when it rained on the initial date we chose, he squeezed us in on a weekend which I'm sure was already very busy for him. The photos were fantastic and we used them during the wedding as a display for the card box.
The day of the wedding, Sean was cool and collected, and put us at ease immediately. We had an photos planned for a nearby outdoor site; unfortunately it turned out to be about 20 degrees outside that day!! Despite the extremely cold weather, Sean put everyone in a great mood, and helped out holding the bridesmaids' blankets and coats in between shots. When we decided to throw in a few extra unplanned family photos, Sean didn't miss a beat and got the photos and still kept us on track.
I cannot say enough how pleased I am with Sean Gallant Photography; if you want great wedding photos, this is your guy!!!

hatting with Sean, when most of the time, my social conversations feel internally awkward. When we looked at his photography, there was no question; we scheduled our consultation and signed our photography contract within days.
Sean is so fun to work with and we had such a great time with him during both our engagement photos and on our wedding day. I cannot possibly say enough about how great Sean is. We cannot wait to see the wedding pictures and we cannot wait for another opportunity to shoot with Sean!
We first started with Sean after obtaining a LivingSocial deal for an engagement shoot with him. My now husband is usually shy and not a big fan of having pictures taken of him so ...
I was a bit nervous. To my surprise, Sean's outgoing and fun personality opened my husband right up. We got some great photos for our save the date and had a ton of fun doing them with Sean. Getting a hold of Sean is never a problem, he has always responded to emails within 24 hours and the few times I've called him he always answered his phone. When it came time to plan the wedding photography he was always offering great advice especially for the timeline of the day. The day of the wedding he and his assistant photographer, Chris, arrived early and were ready to get right to work. Both Sean and Chris had fun, laid back and easy going personalities which made an otherwise busy, hectic and anxiety ridden day so much easier!! They treated everyone in the wedding with respect and had great ideas for photos! They even laid down on the boardwalk to get shots of my husband and I walking down it!! During the ceremony and reception they were not in the way at all (I was worried there would be a "paparazzi effect"). I can't say enough about Sean Gallant Photography and highly recommend him for your special event!!
Sean and his 2nd photographer did an AMAZING job capturing all the moments at my wedding!! Besides all of the beautiful pictures, I was impressed at how quickly we got our pictures...
...Sean even sent us a preview the night of the wedding! Throughout the whole process Sean was extremely friendly and flexible. I would definitely recommend Sean to everyone.

s and captures all the best moments! Sean is a pleasure to work with and you can tell that he is very passionate about what he does. We met with Sean a couple times before the wedding to go over all the details, and the engagement session was included in our package, which was great because it gave us the opportunity to get to know Sean and to see what his photography style was like. On the day of our wedding, he worked very hard to capture all the great moments, but the best part is he works hard and has fun at the same time – we had a blast working with Sean! We were so happy we chose Sean Gallant Photography and would choose him again!
From the minute I had my first meeting with Sean I felt so comfortable with him. Not only was he completely easy to work with, everyone at the wedding kept asking me "who's your ph...
otographer?" "HE'S HILARIOUS!" It was important to me that we all felt comfortable with him because I get camera shy. Sean was ON TIME for the DAY and was like spiderman...he was everywhere AT ONCE! After the night was over he posted 2 pictures of the day and I was blown away of how BEAUTIFUL they were. The quality of service that we received with Sean was top notch. I recommend him to anyone looking for a down-to-earth, make you feel comfortable, takes amazing pictures, thinks out of the box and super professional photographer! It will not be the last time I use this business. TOP TOP TOP NOTCH AMAZING AMAZING thank you sean!!

ing to him, I knew he would be the perfect photographer for us.
When I went to go meet Sean with my mom, he took us through two weddings that he photographed, so that we would have a clear idea of what he would capture for us throughout our entire day. The pictures were stunning, and I loved how his photos were able to tell the story of the wedding day - you could really feel the happiness and the tone of the entire wedding coming through his photographs!
Though we weren't planning on taking any, Sean included an engagement photo session with our package. The photos were absolutely beautiful, and we used two of them on our save the dates (which he also designed and printed for us). As soon as our save the dates went out, the compliments about them started rolling in! Everyone LOVED the pictures!
Our wedding is just over a month away, and I absolutely cannot WAIT for our wedding photographs. He has been an amazing photographer, and I could not recommend him enough.
In a nutshell - Sean is talented, reasonable, fun, and all-around amazing! We are pretty much obsessed with Sean and STRONGLY encourage you to use him for your wedding!!!
Sean is an amazing photographer and a pleasure to work with. My husband and I both love the pictures we got and had fun working with him. You should definitely book Sean for your ...
wedding or special event!!
Before the wedding he was very easy to communicate with, responding to emails quickly, giving us good advice about how to schedule events on the wedding day, etc. He was extremely helpful and knowledgable while we were in the planning phase.
On the day of the wedding, he helped the day run smoothly and took so many amazing pictures of our day. He helped us figure out how to get all the pictures we wanted despite people in our wedding party running late. This meant that I never felt rushed or stressed and I didn't have to miss any of my wedding. In our formal photos, Sean really captured our personalities and the emotions we were feeling. He made us feel relaxed and we had a blast doing the couples photos. We had a long and intricate Indian wedding ceremony which all went by so fast on the day, but Sean took so many incredible pictures of each ritual that I can now relive all those moments when I look at my pictures.
He also captured incredible moments I hadn't even thought of when planning the wedding: our smiles and laughter during the toasts, a celebratory conversation with the groom and his close friends.
And most importantly, I feel like Sean captured my best side. I look my best and the pictures really capture how happy I was that day.
Sean has been a true blessing since the first email contact. I found out about Sean Gallant Photography through a wedding channel deal for an engagement session. Sean and I hit it ...
off right away. His responses are always within 24 hours and he answered everything clearly and never missed a response (and I do have quite a few questions per email!). I was a bit nervous about a photo shoot as my fiance is super shy and only photogenic when he wants to be. Sean picked the location and it was perfect for what we were looking for. During the shoot, Sean's relaxed, witty and professional demanor made us feel comfortable instantly and my fiance opened up almost immediately and hammed it up for the camera! I'm still in shock a month later! We got our pictures back and couldn't be happier! He truly captured our love and happiness and we had tons of fun! Since the engagement shoot, we booked Sean as our Wedding Photographer!

mily and rounded everyone up for group pictures like a true pro! He even got some great smiles from the little ones! The best thing of all is that he got all of our candid dance floor shots with out being in the way. At times, I looked around for him and he was off to the side setting up another great shot. He sent me a few "teaser" photos from my proofs the other day and they are absolutely beautiful. Cant wait to see the final product. I will keep you all posted.

engagement photo shoot. Sean was very pleasant and very responsive to all of my emails and inquires leading up to the photo shoot. I could guarantee that my emails would be answered within less than 24hours! Sean was very helpful in determining a location for our photo shoot, as my fiancé and I were undecided as to the type of pictures we wanted to take. When I expressed this to Sean he immediately looked into it and suggested a place in Millbrook, NJ, which was a magnificent location for unique, rustic, and artistic photos. Based on our conversations with Sean and his enthusiasm throughout the photo session, it is evident that he has a true passion for photography and this is displayed in the work he produces. He made sure that we were comfortable throughout our shoot and also opened up the shoot for us to make any suggestions on the type of photos we wanted to take. Throughout the shoot he allowed us to view some of the photos to make sure that we were happy with them, which I appreciated! Also, Sean is about candid shots and capturing memories within the moment, which in my opinion adds a special touch to each photo! My fiancé and I would highly recommend Sean to all of our friends and family without a doubt. It was a pleasure working with him and I plan to do more photo sessions with Sean in the future!

e balance of posed and candid photos was perfect, and the quality was impeccable. Sean has such a beautiful style we literally feel like we are at the wedding and reception all over again every time we look through our photos. Such a talented, wonderful person, Sean is the one and only photographer we whole-heartedly and enthusiastically recommend to all our friends and family. We now live in San Diego, but if and when we need professional pictures again, you bet we will be hopping on a plane to NYC/New Jersey to have Sean take them. Thank you, thank you, thank you Sean - we could not have dreamed of anything more amazing and we look forward to working with you again soon!! Sarah & Joe (married 9/22/12 at Seton Hall University)
Sean is an amazing photographer. His photos beautiful. He is incredibly professional and personable. He made us feel totally comfortable in front of the camera. He isn't cheap,...
but he is reasonable, willing to work with your budget, and worth every penny. If you tell him your vision then he makes it happen.
