We feel so lucky to have had Sean as our photographer! The quality of his work is unmatched, and he truly went above and beyond capturing every special moment of our wedding day. Sean is also just a wonderful person, which made us comfortable being ourselves in front of the camera. We ended up with a great variety of shots to choose from, all of which had such beautiful and artistic elements. He is perfect for every bride, groom, engaged couple, expecting mother, frankly anyone in need of fantastic photos. I hired Sean to do my maternity shoot. Sean was AMAZING and his work did not disappoint. I was so impressed I felt compelled to write this review here. He was hard-working, patient, skilled and dedicated to getting the perfect shots! All steps of the process, from booking, to the shoot, to the delivery of images was simple, transparent and truly a pleasure. His creativity, artistry, angle choices, composition, post-process editing and honest business practices sets him above the rest. He beautifully captured my pregnancy, and shot my curves with style, elegance and charm. He worked so well with my husband (who generally has a low tolerance for photos), our 2.5 year old son (a super strong-willed toddler) and managed to preserve this time in our lives with stunning, jaw-dropping photos -- which we will treasure forever. I will definitely return to Sean for my future photography needs.

Sean has been amazing from start to finish!!! Sean did our engagement shoot and our wedding. He has this way about him that makes you so incredibly comfortable in front of the camera, because let's face it- most of us aren't models and can feel really awkward in front of the camera! He is so professional, but makes the photo sessions fun and light hearted. So many people have told us how incredible our engagement pictures are and I'm so pumped to see how our wedding photos turn out! So many of my bridesmaids have upcoming weddings and they all have said "I wish i picked Sean for my wedding"! He is the best at what he does and is a super nice guy!! Stunning, unique, amazing quality photos from a genuinely easy going and fun photographer. From the first time we met Sean (and his lovely wife Sophia) for our engagement shoot we knew were in excellent hands. He didn't just mark the occasion, he captured our excitement, love, and laughter in ways we didn't expect because he clearly captures every couple differently. The actual wedding photos left us speechless with so many tiny moments throughout the day and the larger scenery and urban landscape setting of the day. 5 stars just isn't enough!

Sean and Sophia are absolutely amazing! They shot both our engagement and wedding photos and made us feel so comfortable during our shoot. Our photos look like they could be on the cover of a magazine, they are of such high quality! I wouldn't recommend anyone else but Sean to someone who is looking for a photographer. He captured every moment just perfectly. Every time I look at our pictures I feel the same emotions as if I am suddenly transported back to the exact moment in time. There are no words to describe how beautiful they came out. Sean is so accommodating and was wonderful to work with. He made sure that our wedding album was everything that we wanted (and more)! I met with several photographers before meeting with Sean. After our meeting, I knew my search was over. Sean was detailed and accommodating, and from the photo’s he showed in his albums and the canvases he had displayed in his studio I was impressed. Sean was easy to communicate with and always responded to my questions/concerns within a timely manner. More importantly, he was such a pleasure to have around on my wedding day. Sean will pitch in and help where need be. I had a situation while getting dressed and he jumped right in to help me and my mother. He isn’t overwhelming and doesn’t try to control your day which was a huge plus in my book. He gives direction when needed but lets you live out your day and enjoy. Sean came on the party bus with us which was really cool and he captured fun pictures while in transit. My bridal party thought it was awesome that he came with us. His pictures portray the natural beauty that surrounds you on your special day. I couldn’t thank Sean enough after I seen all of my pictures. I was in love and received so many compliments.

Sean and Sophia made the perfect memory of our wedding. They were super easy and organized to work with. We met Sean once at the beginning of our wedding preparation and exchanged a few quick emails before the wedding, but we were 100% confident that we were in safe hands. On the wedding day, Sean and Sophia came to the hotel earlier than scheduled to get set up. It was pouring the entire day, so I decided to cancel the shooting outdoors. Sean was very creative and made a lot of great pictures in the hotel and at the wedding venue before the ceremony. They stayed until the very end of our reception to make sure they could catch the moments of the dance floor and sparkler exits. We had another reception in China three weeks after the wedding in Philly so I asked Sean to have a portfolio of pictures ready by then and he made it in time despite his busy schedule. We loved how all the pictures turned out and got so many compliments from family and friends. We grabbed brunch with Sean and Sophia last wkd and had a great afternoon together! All in all, we would highly recommend Sean and Sophia to anyone who is looking for the best photographer for your lifetime events! Four thumbs up from Frances and Wen!!!

My husband and I both enjoyed working with Sean and Sophia. We had our small, low budget, family only, wedding reception at my parent's home on a rainy day; and I had been worried that given the weather and humble settings, we might not end up with photos worth mentioning. We ended up with fantastic photos that held true to the artistic talent that I had fallen in love with when first researching photographers in the Philadelphia area. There were plenty of shots of the gathering as well as family portraits and more formal bride and groom portrait shots. We appreciated their knowledge in guiding us comfortably through various locations and scenes for the portrait shots. Guests also commented on their professional ability to know when to make themselves present throughout the day and know when to fade into the background.

Sean was great to work with! We planned our wedding from across the country, and Sean made the process seamless. We were so comfortable with his communication and portfolio, we made all of the bookings and arrangements without even meeting him in person. He has provided our friends and families endless memories of the greatest night ever!

Sean was absolutely AMAZING! Words can't even describe how incredible our engagement and wedding photos are. Trusting someone to document every aspect of your wedding day is scary but we seriously could not have chosen a better photographer than Sean. He was so easy to work with and made us feel so comfortable. He captured our day so perfectly. Let me begin by saying that I am Type A with everything in my life! When I initially began to plan my wedding, my biggest concern was photography. My husband and I decided to forego a videographer (as we truthfully admitted we may only watch it a few times and we were constrained to a tight budget) so we wanted to find the most fabulous photographer to capture our moments throughout the night! Sean and Sophia did not disappoint! They had come highly recommended from friends of ours and I also met with Sean and was able to look through his previous portfolio of client pictures. I can honestly say this was the easiest part of planning my wedding because I immediately loved his work! Throughout the day, we barely even knew that they were there and they worked effortlessly to capture all of our couples pictures so we could make our full cocktail hour (who doesn't want to be there for that? I've known many companies who occupy the bride and groom for the entire time). My venue even liked his shots so much that they included one on their own Knot page!! Needless to say, if you're anything like me, look no further! I would rate 6 stars if The Knot had that option. Thanks Sean for fulfilling all of our wedding expectations :)

My wife and I were BLOWN AWAY by how fantastic our photos came out!! We could not be happier! Working with Sean was a breeze, he made us feel very comfortable right from the first meeting. On top of taking phenomenal photographs, he is incredibly friendly, easygoing and professional. You can tell that he really enjoys capturing these special moments. We just can't say enough how happy we were with Sean!!

I came across Sean Marshall Lin through an online search, and was instantly obsessed with his work. Sean is not your typical run-of-the-mill wedding photographer. He is a seriously talented artist. My husband and I booked him before we even had our wedding venue. Not only is he really creative and just unbelievable at taking photos, but he is one of the sweetest guys you will ever meet. Both Sean and Sophia are the ultimate dream team. They captured every single moment of the day, and told our story in the most beautiful way. That sounds really cheesy, but I can’t find the words to describe just how impressive and special every single one of their photos were. They were just beyond anything we could have ever hoped for, and our expectations were REALLY high. Sean’s style is very distinct and it is what sets him apart from all the others. On the wedding day, him and Sophia made everyone feel so comfortable and were so respectful of the videographers, but weren’t shy in getting people/things out of the way for the perfect shot. He instantly knows what’s going to work, sets it up and I swear gets the perfect shot right away. Photographers who may not be as experienced take multiple shots of the same thing, but not Sean. They are soooo good at candid shots too! We opted for an unplugged wedding ceremony, which just goes to show you how much faith we had in Sean and Sophia to capture everything, and they did not disappoint! They may have cost a bit more than your typical wedding photographer, but it is 100% worth it. Your wedding day will fly by, and you will think that you forgot certain parts of the day, but looking back at the photos, you relive it all over again, and have these memories to cherish forever. Trust me, this is not something you want to skimp on for your wedding. It is quite possibly THE most important vendor of the day. If he isn't available on the day you want to get married, my suggestion is to find a new date! He's that good!

Sean and Sophia are AmAzInG and have a great gift of capturing genuine moments in an artistic way. When I came across their portfolio online (this was 2 years before I had gotten engaged) I knew that if I was ever going to get married, I wanted them to capture it! We are so impressed with the photos from our wedding day and couldn't be more happier with our decision.

Sean is an incredible photographer! He is amazingly talented and an overall great guy. Finding a photographer was one of the more difficult, time consuming aspects for me while planning our wedding. We we're working on a fairly small budget, but finding a good photographer was one of my top priorities, after all, the pictures are what you'll have to look back on years from now. After searching for images of our venue, I was immediately drawn to the photos of previous weddings that Sean had worked. I did a little more research, got some word-of-mouth reviews, and soon realized he was the one! He shot our engagement session and wedding and we were thrilled with the results! He was so easy going and accomodating. He genuinely wants you to have great photos. Due to a miss communication, our videographer didn't make it for our first look. Sean immediately offered up his phone (which shot great quality video) so we could have the moment filmed. It was a pleasure working with him. His artistic eye is very evident in his work and he does not disappoint!

Sean Marshall Lin and his wife Sophia were absolutely incredible. We knew right away after meeting them at their home that they were the photographers for us. They immediately made us feel comfortable and at ease which is so important with a photographer since this is the vendor you will spend the most time with on your big day. We had so much fun with them while shooting our engagement photos and the pictures were gorgeous. As the wedding approached, Sean was so helpful and understanding with all of my crazy bride questions. They were so great to work with on the day of the wedding and when we got our photos back we were blown away. Their creativity and attention to detail is unbelievable. I can honestly say that choosing SML was the best decision in our wedding planning process!

Sean was the photographer for both our engagement photoshoot as well as for our wedding ceremony and reception. He was an absolute pleasure to work with for all our events! For the engagement shoot, he drove up from Philly to New York City and walked around with us for hours taking photos. He kept the photoshoot very natural and low key the entire time, joking with us and never forcing poses. He even stayed later in the evening than originally anticipated to ensure we got all of our shots done! For the wedding, he and his assistant were both incredibly professional in the background but fun at the same time. They did a great job catching all of the BEST action shots throughout the evening, as well as perfectly capturing the beauty of the venue and all of the hardwork that was put into making the event special. Though he prefers more natural photos (they are the best!), he was still willing to take as many set photos of our families and groups of friends as we wanted. And of course, once again, Sean stayed later than originally planned to ensure all the highlights of the evening were snapped. He is incredibly talented, a great guy all round, and a perfect professional. Sean was a fantastic photographer; my husband and I would recommend him a million times over to anyone.

We could not have asked for a better photographer. Sean photographed two of our friend's weddings and they're pictures were beautiful, that's why we chose him. We used Sean for both our engagement photos and for our wedding and for each one our pictures were and experiences were perfect. Sean is a true artist. He captures so much love and emotion in his photos. Although we couldn't be everywhere and with every person during our wedding, we felt that we were when we saw all of our photos. Sean is also just a great person and a joy to work with. He makes you feel very comfortable and certainly calmed a lot of my nerves during the hectic times of our big day!

Before we even set a date, we checked with Sean to see what days he was available… Sean had photographed my step-sister’s wedding 2 years earlier and when I got engaged I knew I wanted him as our wedding photographer as well. I was more concerned that he would be available, rather than where or when we would get married. I am a scrapbooker and needed amazing wedding pictures! They are better than I could have even imagined. Sean was so easy to work with. He has an amazing eye and captured everything I wanted. Of course he took all of the traditional family pictures that we requested, but what he really captured was the emotion and memories of the day. We received a few preview photos shortly after the wedding and the rest were soon to follow! We have so many wonderful pictures to choose from, we are still working on narrowing the images down for our album. I highly recommend Sean to anyone looking for amazing wedding photos! He truly is the best!

My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about working with Sean Marshall Lin! We live in another state than where we were married, and Sean Skyped with us ahead of time to plan the day's schedule, listen to our ideas, give us great advice, and answer all of our questions. He was also very responsive via email. On the day of the wedding, Sean was unbelievable. He arrived ahead of schedule and I don't think I saw him sit down once. He was fun, funny, energetic and efficient during the bridal party and family photos, putting everyone at ease. During the ceremony, he was able to capture all of the details and emotion while remaining discreet. He has a true creative eye, and his artistry and aesthetic sense can be seen in all of our photos. We received our preview photos about 3 weeks after the wedding and the rest of the photos about a week after that. I have received endless compliments about how our photos look like they are from a magazine, are the most beautiful wedding pictures anyone has ever seen, etc. If you are looking for a wedding photographer who is professional, dependable, creative and intelligent, then Sean is your man!

Sean & Sophia were by far the best vendors we dealt with at our wedding! I cannot describe how happy we are that we chose them. Being that my husband is a wedding photographer himself it was very important for us to have the best and that is what we got with Sean & Sophia! They exceeded all of our expectations! We have booked Sean for our engagement session and for our wedding. I met with him in person, where he showed me his beautiful work. I have looked through his photos through the custom albums and the canvas prints. I was so shocked by the amazing quality! Even though his photos are absolutely STUNNING on his website, the computer screen doesn't do the photos its justice. They are absolutely breathtaking in person!!!! The engagement session was so much fun! He made us feel so comfortable and guided us through the entire thing. When it came to my wedding... oh boy! They have captured everything I have felt that day! I relive my day over and over again with these photos. And I like myself in every single photo! He was so candid, half of the time while looking at our photos we had no idea he was there! You will not regret booking him, he provides the BEST QUALITY service you can find. Sean and Sophia helped make our wedding one of the most magical experiences we could have ever asked for! After discovering his work online, we hired them both to join us in Mexico for the big day without ever having met them in person - their work is that good. As most brides know, the photographer is one of the most important vendors you contract when planning a wedding, so this was a bit scary at first but I'm so happy to say it was one of the best decisions we made! They were professional, kind, comforting and above all very talented. We were very lucky to get married in an exceptionally beautiful setting, and Sean and Sophia went above and beyond to grab us at every opportunity to take advantage of it. I'm typically not a huge fan of formal, posed photos so I was thrilled at how they were able to make the process fun and unique and delivered photos that captured the moments and emotions in such a beautiful, artistic way that goes beyond a typical wedding shot. Booking Sean was the best decision I made for the wedding. Every bride wishes after the wedding "oh maybe I should have done this or that" but my photographer was not one of those I wish. Sean delivered in so many ways imaginable. He was so kind and easy going, it was just a natural feeling throughout the entire day. He blended seamlessly with my videographer and they worked so well together perfecting both photos and the video. The entire day was a breeze - Sean would keep me updated with the daylight outside so I could make sure we got evening and day photos. Sean was an awesome photographer. He took great pictures for both our wedding and engagement photos. He is very creative and does a lot of innovative things. He was also able to stay professional with a very difficult group of groomsmen that could not seem to sit still and follow direction. Even with all of that he pulled off some great pictures.

Sean was the dream wedding photographer! After looking over his portfolio (even before our engagement), it was a no-brainer when it came time to book a photographer. His services were actually the first that I booked for the wedding and I would have seriously considered changing my wedding date if he was not available! The day of, he did not disappoint. He has a true talent for not only capturing those classic (expected) wedding shots (bride and groom staring adoringly into each others eyes (the hopes and dreams of tomorrow in their eyes, yada yada yada) and snapping those pure, authentic, hidden moments that last a barely a moment and that most would miss (grandma getting crazy on the dance floor, bride sneakily pinching groom while saying vows, etc). He is a great energy to have on the day of and takes just enough time to snap these breath-taking shots, so that you end up with a gorgeous album and still are able to enjoy the reception. Im totally late in posting this (my wedding was August 22, 2014) -- but better late then never! Sean was the total package when it came to photography!!! Sean took the time to get to know us as a couple and figured out what our priorities were for our big day. My husband and I really wanted to make our cocktail hour for at least half of it. I knew this would be a difficult task since our wedding ceremony was in the suburbs and our reception was in center city. We would have a little over 2 hours to get from church to the reception and get all our pictures. Sean managed to: Keep our bridal party of 19 organized (and entertained!), take some of the most incredible pictures I have ever seen, and get us to the venue on time to make our ENTIRE cocktail hour!! Sean is not only talented, but he genuinely cares about his clients and does every thing possible to make sure your day is perfect.

I first met Sean four years ago at my sister's wedding in Mexico. He fit in so seamlessly with our family and all the guests, that it felt like he had known everyone for years! I knew once I saw my sister's incredible photos, I wanted Sean to be the photographer at my future wedding as well. My fiancé and I had very specific criteria for choosing our wedding photographer to document our big day! We wanted someone that would take a creative, photojournalistic approach to our wedding photos and someone that we really felt comfortable with. After meeting Sean, we knew immediately that we wanted to work with him and that he was exactly the type of photographer we were looking for. Sean made the trip from Philadelphia to NYC for our engagement shoot, and we had so much fun shooting in our neighborhood and by the Brooklyn Bridge. I met Sean's wife, Sophia, when we were in school together, and we've been close friends for a few years now (I was even in their wedding!), so I know these two better than I knew most of my wedding vendors. We had an unbelievable experience working with Sean!!! We hired him for both our Save the Date photos and to capture our wedding, and both came out more gorgeous than I could have ever imagined!! I first met Sean when he was photographing a friends wedding a few years ago. His relationship with the Bride and Groom was more like old friends...he really related to them and was able to capture their wedding exactly to the personalities of who they are. After seeing their pictures, I just knew he would be my photographer. He was the first vendor I booked after my now husband and I were engaged. We used Sean for our engagement session as well. He was so friendly and really just let us be us. The day of the wedding, he was just one of the wedding party - fitting right in with everyone, making us laugh and overall having a good time with us. When we met Sean Marshall Lin we knew we found our photographer for our wedding! He was so nice, personable, and easy to be around and he made us feel extremely comfortable! When we met with him he didn't just show us one album of his work he showed us about 8, which allowed us to see what kind of photography he really did. My husband and I had Sean do our engagement photography as well as our wedding. The engagement photos were beautiful and he made us feel so comfortable. There were so many amazing shots he got the day of our wedding, and the best part was that we didn’t even know he was there. Sean is not the kind or photographer who all up in your face telling you what to do and how to pose, he is the kind of photographer who blends into his surrounding and is amazing at capturing that emotion and moment in time! Sean even got on our limo bus with us and took pictures of us having fun on the way to our cocktail hour and reception. He showed no fear when we told him we wanted to stop on the bridge and take pictures in the middle of the bridge and he showed no hesitation when my husband and his groomsman got on top of their trucks for some non-traditional photos! I couldn’t believe how fast Sean got our wedding pictures back to us. He even sent us couple preview photos while we were on our honeymoon! 2 weeks after our wedding Sean sent us link to view all the photos he captured the day of our wedding. There were over 1200 pictures and we loved every single one of them. His work is amazing, beautiful, emotional and outstanding! We are so happy with our engagement & our wedding photos and we loved that we gained a new friend!! Can’t wait to see the wedding album!! 

I met Sean when he photographed my best friend's wedding and I was the MOH. He was so thoughtful and maticulous when capturing the shots for her day. I never saw a photographer take on a personal relationship with the Bride and Groom to make the day so perfect for them. When I saw her pictures months later I knew, I have to work with him! When my now husband and I got engaged my very first phone call of course was my parents, my second call was Sean! That's how good he is! I knew that if I was getting married I needed him there to capture our day! He will work 1:1 with you throughout the entire process and will make sure you are at ease the entire day. We loved him so much we booked him for our engagement session as well! I knew how busy he was when I would see the engagement and wedding sessions on his website but you would never know it when you met with him. His full attention and time was to the bride and groom he was working with and it made the process very smooth and enjoyable! Many of my friends hated their photographers because of lighting and inexperience--Sean is phenomenal! I can't recommend him enough to future brides and grooms!

Picking the right photographer for our wedding was something that was incredibly important to my fiancé and me. We knew that Sean had photographed one of our friend's wedding and after seeing their outstanding pictures we took the time to meet with him. Sean met with us in his home, showed us his work and had a laid back attitude that we connected with immediately. We have never regretted for a moment choosing him as our photographer. I am a worrier and I am also the type of person who can look awful in photos. I tend to be the one in the group picture who is mid blink with an awkward look on their face, so I was worried that even though Sean has an impressive portfolio filled with photos full of vivid color and emotion that he just wouldn't be able to capture that in me. Boy was I wrong! Sean managed to not only capture beautiful photographs of our family and friends, but even I had my eyes open! Sean has an artistic style and takes a photojournalist approach to weddings which leads to natural photos that speak to me much more than the often wooden looking wedding poses. His style and expertise made for amazing pictures in motion. He and his assistant Ian managed to capture every moment of that incredible day without me even realizing he was there. I valued both his artistic style and his unobtrusive nature. I am sure I could ramble on and on about how amazing these photos are and how much I value the physical form of the wonderful memories I have from the day, but instead I will give you one piece of advice: Book Sean Marshall Lin as your wedding photographer. You won't regret it and the memories that you can show to your friends and family are worth every dollar you will spend.

To say that our wedding pictures are remarkable would be an understatement. Each picture is truly a work of art. Sean and Ian were amazing! So relaxed and non obtrusive, I even forgot they were there at times! I did not give a "must shoot list" and it was like Sean read my mind of the pictures I wanted, yet better as they are more candid. His use of lighting and color is something I have never seen before. Each time I look at our photos it's as if I'm re-living our special day. I could not speak more highly of Sean. The only problem we are going have is that we now have way more beautiful pictures than frames ; ) you surely won't be disappointed with his 5 star service!

Sean was incredible - we definitely got much more than we banked for, worth every penny and then some! Photos were absolutely timeless, we couldn't even believe it was us! His photojournalistic talent (for those who are not familiar) truly captivated our wedding day the way we want to remember it. The way he took our moments we didn't even need a videographer because they were not so much posed photos as they were moving moments in time. They were sentiments and feelings caught on freeze framed camera... I want to have another wedding just to hang out with him again - wonderful guy and great to work with!

Sean was AWESOME! Here are all the reasons he was an excellent wedding photographer: *Sean was great to work with before the wedding. I was planning from a distance, and he had a video chat with us beforehand and worked with my schedule to meet in person when I was available. *On the day of the wedding, Sean and his assistant were wonderful. Sean arrived earlier than expected, but he took some detail photos while we finished getting picture ready. During the ceremony and reception, Sean and his assistant really blended into the background. He instructed us well during the posed pictures after the ceremony, too. *Sean captured so many emotions and interactions between people. Even six months later, we can't get enough of these pictures. *The picture quality was incredible, as expected. He was able to capture such vivid colors (Each of my bridesmaids wore a different color dress in bright shades, and they came out perfectly). The resolution is great, and we were able to print a 12x36 canvas print, no problem. *Sean allows you to reprint and post pictures. This isn't true of all photographers, and it is wonderful. I included photos in each of my thank you notes, and we've printed some canvas prints, 8x10s, and shutterfly books. Additionally, I was able to post a lot of the DIY components of the wedding on my blog. *The turnaround time is great. Sean had the preview up while we were on our honeymoon and got us all the digital prints soon after. We haven't selected all the photos for our professional album yet, but I feel confident saying he'll be speedy with that as well. *Sean is accommodating even after the wedding is over. There were quite a few photos he had processed in black and white that I wanted in color, and he reworked them without complaint. My only advice for brides choosing any photographer is to let them know who is "important" ahead of time. We had a fairly large wedding party, but my siblings avoided the dance floor and are very under-represented in the photos (especially my brother who was with the groomsmen before the wedding, not with me).

In a not uncommon situation, we were trying to find a photographer in the Philly area, while residing in Massachusetts and with the bride and groom living in New Hampshire. I viewed about 50 web sites and Sean's jumped out at me immediately. I loved his creative use of the surroundings and his different use of light. But most of all, it was clear to me that Sean takes the time to capture the genuine essence of a couple. It takes a great deal of patience to give a couple the time to relax and be themselves. Alex and Devon's engagement pictures are wonderful! He perfectly captured the playful nature of their relationship. By doing so, he set the tone for the wedding pictures. Choosing Sean Marshall Lin as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our big day. It was really important to us to have high quality photos and a skilled photographer. I looked at dozens of photographer's websites, and was beginning think I would not find anyone who could deliver great photos within our budget. When I saw Sean's photos on his website, I was blown away, and even more so when we met with him. His passion for his work and attention to detail really sold us. He was wonderful at our engagement shoot, which went longer than we planned. He really put us at ease, and delivered great shots in locations we had not thought of before. One the day of the wedding, he was on top of the detail photos, and worked well with our large bridal party. He took some of the most beautiful shots in our church - I never realized how pretty it was until I saw the pictures. He really has an eye for what works, so trust him. Besides being professional and efficient delivering the photos, he is a genuinely nice person who really cares about you and your day. We heard about Sean through a friend that had their wedding photos taken by Sean. From the time we got engaged we knew we wanted him to be our photographer and didn’t really look at any other photographers. We had a more demanding schedule for Sean, seeing as how our week long Wedding was going to be in Hyderbad, India, but we hoped that he would be able to make the trip and commit the time. Then, we found out some very disappointing news. Our hopeful photographer, Sean, was already booked for the beginning part of our ceremony. Although we were extremely disappointed, the disappointment only strengthened as we looked through other photographers photos. While many of the photographers we looked at, had great pictures, there was just a certain artistic creativity that was missing with their photos. We had gone through dozens of photographer’s pictures and were getting ready to settle on a new photographer, when Sean called saying that he would be able to make it to India for the main parts of our ceremonies. We were thrilled and couldn’t wait to have him be a part of our wedding. Sean with his prior commitments flew 18 hours and arrived at 4am in India and was ready, and excited for the first of our five events at 8am the same day. He blended in well, which enabled him to capture the most honest and true moments! With the second event taking place only 6 hours later, we knew Sean was going to be jet lagged and tired and were just hoping that he would make it to the event. When all of the guests were finishing getting ready and meeting in the lobby to leave to the venue, Sean was already there, waiting in a suit, extremely professional, and ready to go. The next day was the actual wedding which consisted of 3 different events; 2 in the morning and the wedding at night. Again, Sean was waiting in the lobby before anyone else, looking professional and ready to go. By the end of the wedding, after so many events and so many pictures we were getting tired ourselves, so when we were getting ready to take the after wedding photos, we weren’t exactly thrilled. Sean is such a people person and so easy when taking pictures that he was able to keep us smiling and enjoy the last photos that would be taken during our wedding. Throughout the entire time that Sean was there, he made such an impact on the rest of our family that they enjoyed him being there, not just as our photographer, but as another guest. Since the wedding and our return to Philadelphia we have kept in touch with Sean and have grown to be good friends. Our wedding pictures were unbelievable and looked like they came from a magazine. The attention to detail that went into taking the picture and then the editing of all photos that he had taken, seems to us, as just an unparalleled level of commitment to his work and his clients. We couldn’t be happier with the results of every picture and the type of professionalism that Sean carried with him throughout his entire time with us. To me, the most important service in a wedding is the photographer. Photographs last a lifetime, so selecting the right photographer to capture my special moments was crucial. When a friend of mine showed me pictures that Sean shot for her friend’s wedding, I fell in love with his works and didn’t want to look any further. I knew I wanted Sean as my photographer. Sean is AMAZING & unbelievably TALENTED!!! I couldn't have asked for a better photographer! He is friendly and professional and was soooo much fun to work with. Our wedding was a second wedding for both of us. We have four kids between us, a new house, new car, and are obviously on a budget as we paid for the wedding ourselves. However, I convinced my husband to put most of our wedding budget toward photography and I have to say it was the best decision we made regarding our wedding. Capturing not only us and our day, but our four children on film, as well as both sets of parents is priceless. We had a relatively short ceremony and reception, but he delivered hundreds of amazing photos of the day. It was so neat to see some of the day through my daughter's perspectives and see a scene like the girls peeking around the door to catch a glimpse of me... I never would have been aware of that moment if he wasn't there to capture it. Likewise, seeing my husband's expressions and my parents looking on at us is really priceless to me. When we discussed our wedding, I told Sean that it was less about us as a couple this time around, and more about all of us becoming one family. The photos he took are more than I could've asked for. He nailed it perfectly and aside from the time that we were doing posed photos, I never noticed him there. He is unobtrusive and is in the background capturing the day from viewpoints you, as the bride, would never be able to see all at once. His portfolio speaks for itself and once I saw it I knew he was THE photographer I wanted. He was booked for our original wedding date, so we moved the wedding up a week to when he was free to ensure he would be able to shoot our wedding. Best decision ever. I am beyond thrilled with the photos and stayed up until 3:30am looking at them the night he sent them to us. We had the pleasure of working with sean for our e session at longwood gardens and our july 27th wedding at pen ryn. He is a true professional and artist and a joy to work with. He did an amazing job of capturing every moment of happiness as the day/night evolved. My husband and I got married six months ago and used Sean as our photographer. Sean was professional, helped us feel comfortable during pictures, and worked extremely hard throughout our engagement pictures session and our wedding.
