Sean and Elizabeth are a power photography couple. They are warm and funny, you literally cannot wait to hangout with them on your wedding day. Their professionalism is above and beyond as well as keeping things light when you're extremely stressed - yes I mean about to walk down the aisle stressed. Sean and Elizabeth were down to do all the fun photos with us in a parking garage and all of our hooligan dance moves. If I was asked for photographers for the rest of my life events - these are the people I would call immediately. You cannot go wrong with this duo and you'll never regret it!
We are so thankful we hired Sean and Elizabeth as our engagement and wedding photographers. They quickly make you and your guests feel at ease and feel more like welcomed friends on your special day than photographers. We were originally drawn to them because of their creative and artistic eye--and the end result did not disappoint! We have so many wonderful, beautiful, artistic photos to choose from.
Sean and Elizabeth are the best of the best.
I knew that I wanted them to photograph our wedding before I was even engaged. I was working in the wedding industry at the time and came across their profile and it was love at first sight. I fell down a rabbit hole of their photos and knew that when the time came they were the first vendor on my list. Their style is effortlessly cool, their couples are real and the way they shoot you can tell that their vision of love isn't cotton-candy blissful perfection; it is raw and real and all the more beautiful because of it.
Our engagement shoot with them was fun. My husband and I are not "photo" people- we're both awkward smilers and our instinct is to do the weirdest poses known to man. Sean and Elizabeth put us at ease instantly - our smiles are genuine and they somehow made us look cool. We felt so comfortable around them - to be our weird, authentic selves. And the photos show that - they are "us" and they are true and I treasure them all the more so for it.
The same way they put us at ease during our engagement shoot, they did for our family and friends at the wedding. I had more than one guest come up to me on my big day and say "your photographers are cool as s**t and I want to hang out with them". I wholeheartedly concur.
In conclusion: don't hire Sean and Elizabeth if you want your photos to look "perfect" or to reflect your relationship as "#goals". DO hire them if you want photos that reflect your raw, real, and unique love. DO HIRE them if you want people who feel like your best buds and who you're already scheming up ways to get to hang out with you outside of your wedding :)
It's hard to put into words how essential Sean & Elizabeth were to our wedding day. From the ease of planning with them, to the meticulous guidance and detail that they allowed me to provide for my photo requests, to their patience with a bridal part of nearly 40 people - Sean & Elizabeth handled a day that had many moving parts with such ease and grace. They made my husband and I feel so comfortable, and you can absolutely tell in the photos. Our day was a really happy one, and you can tell through the smiles on our faces. This was what was so important to me, and why I needed S&E for my photographers - I trusted them to be able to capture all the feelings of that day - and they certainly came through. We received photos that had a perfect balance of portraits, candids, details, scenery, photos of all of our guests from the beginning to the end of our day. We'll cherish them forever.
Picking a photographer for my wedding was something I did not take lightly and one of the most important vendor choices for me. Luckily, I did my research and could not have been happier with Sean & Elizabeth, who are not only incredibly gifted photographers, but also the kind of people you want to be around on your wedding day. It was awesome to have this married team for a number of different reasons, but a few highlighted reasons for me are that they were able to split up and take pictures of the bride/bridesmaids and the groom/groomsmen while getting ready and before the ceremony. I feel like this saved a lot of time with taking pictures on our wedding day and we were able to let loose and have fun for longer. Additionally, they have such great energy behind the camera lens that transpires to natural looking photos of yourself and loved ones, compared to stiff and very choreographed wedding photos. They have the ability to capture the most tender and loving moments, without it seeming staged. They also get the most amazing shots of people on the dance floor or busting a move. I will forever cherish the photos from my wedding day and I am constantly receiving compliments on the quality of the photos. If you are looking for a highly experienced team of photographers for your wedding day that are so easy to work with and have a vision like no other, then these are your guys! You will not be disappointed and your wedding photos will not be boring!
We met with Sean + Elizabeth one time before hiring them on the spot! There are so many positive things I can say about them, but I don't want to lose you, so I'll try to list out the highlights! My now husband HATES photos, since he was little. My wedding planner recommended Sean + Elizabeth because A) they were a couple, so maybe Sean would help loosen my husband up and B) our planner thought that their "vibe" was similar to mine. The "B)" portion comes from what I told her - I told her I didn't want to do anything basic. I want my photos to be cool, creative, and different from all of the generic Pinterest photos you see. I don't need every photo to be bright or cookie cutter / rehearsed and I love candids.
Ok, so we hired them. Fast forward to engagement photos; our package came with an additional sessions (engagement, bridal portraits, boudoir, etc). We live in Charlotte, NC and they freaking drove up 3 hours to shoot our engagement session near our home so we could have our dogs in them and do them around our neighborhood. Being that they don't live in Charlotte, I wasn't sure what to expect, but they took what I was envisioning, did their own research of the city, and executed beyond my wildest dreams! They made my husband and I feel so comfortable and it was a great session to get to know them on a personal level. I felt like I could 100% be myself and say whatever was on my brain and being around them was a total judgement-free zone.. it was so refreshing! They saw great photos against walls, in parking decks, under plants - things I would've never seen. They were so COOL, I even invited them to my husband's bday party that night because we had such an amazing day together (they coudn't come, but just sayin', that's how cool they are)!
Lastly, the big day! They were of course on time on our wedding day and executed all getting ready photos and our first look seamlessly. These are such special moments, you have to have someone you trust to capture them and we trusted them without a doubt. They didn't even blink at my family dynamic (a few re-marriages, step siblings and whacky family members, ha!) and got every pre-ceremony shot to a tee. The ceremony photos are absolutely stunning - they crushed the angles, the lighting and didn't miss one shot. Lastly, the reception! They got all details photos before everything started, got every shot from every first dance, speech, etc. and lastly, gave me the best candids (100s!) I could've ever imagined. We've been married for over 3 months and I look at the gallery almost every day or so and each time I find a new favorite photo.
I can't say enough good things about these 2, and how hiring a male/female duo, helped capture our day PERFECTLY. Elizabeth is born and raised in Charleston, so she's seen/heard it all and I consider her an expert of venues there, BUT also, their creative work from their non-Charleston (traveling) weddings was actually what hooked me in their portfolio they sent, so you do not have to be getting married in CHS to hire them! 1000/10 recommend, love them and will absolutely be using them again in the future (if my husband would be willing to take professional pictures again!) Hire them, you won't regret it!
If I start to write every detail of why they’re so perfect, it’d be an essay. Sean and Elizabeth exceeded all expectations and made our engagement and weddings photo-taking process a true dream. They are INSANELY talented, creative, and easy to work with. They deserve a 10 star review. I am so happy that my wedding photos represent us and don’t look white washed like every other wedding. They’re unique and I have already received endless compliments. THEY NEED A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY OSCAR! They’re also just two amazingly cool people that you actually want around you during your wedding.
The absolute best and you will not be getting run-of-the-mill wedding photos with this team. Sean and Elizabeth are so much fun to work with and take all the stiffness and awkwardness out of posing for photos. They made us feel so comfortable and like we were working with friends. We worked with them for both our wedding and engagement shoot and our photos are breathtaking. They use a level of artistry I haven't seen in many wedding photos and our photos are so beautiful while feeling relaxed and very cool.
Hiring Sean Money and Elizabeth Fay is hands down one of the best things you can do for your wedding day. As a wedding videographer, I work with dozens and dozens of wedding photographers and I can say no one holds a candle to the energy, efficiency and caliber of service Sean and Elizabeth deliver. Working with them you'll not only get amazing photos, be relaxed and at ease throughout your day (they're logistical ninjas I swear), but you'll make a new pair of lifelong friends in the process. What are you waiting for? HIRE THEM NOW!
Sean Money + Elizabeth Fay are the absolute best! Photography was high up on my wedding importance list and I couldn't have made a better decision than to go with them. It is crucial that you're comfortable with the photographer and SM + EF do nothing other than that!...plus take the best, most fun pictures and they get shots you wouldn't think of but end up LOVING! I can't wait to use them again for something!!
I just can't say enough wonderful things about Sean & Elizabeth. They captured the emotion of our day perfectly and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. Sean & Elizabeth are as wonderful to be around as they are talented. And they were an absolute joy to work with throughout the entire process. The photos they produced tell our wedding story better than any video could. We adore them!
My wedding would not have been complete if I wouldn't have hired Sean and Elizabeth. Planning a wedding from California was quite stressful, but Sean and Elizabeth were a joy to work with from the beginning. When my Mom, Sister and I flew in from California to meet with vendors, Sean and Elizabeth took us to one of their favorite local hang-outs and chatted with us for quite awhile. They felt like old-time friends.
I was nervous on my wedding day because I'm not very comfortable in front of a camera (nor is my fiancé) and they both made us feel completely at ease. Sean even brought a special "prop" that I wanted to use but could't get a hold of. We had so much fun doing our "first look" pictures because they brought so many ideas to the table. We had a blast with them at our reception and consider them friends. Their work is undeniably artistic, unique and beautiful.
