Searching for the Light Photography

Emmy is literally everything I could've ever asked for in a wedding photographer and more. Her photography style was exactly what I wanted, and I love looking through our pictures. She shot both our engagement photos and our wedding photos, and we were absolutely thrilled on both sets. We get complements all the time on both sets of pictures. She did such a beautiful job of telling the story of our wedding day. She is a self-proclaimed "whimsical teller of adventurous and and authentic love stories", and I could not find a better way to describe her. She truly told the tale of our day and our love in pictures, and she couldn't have done a better job. She was so sweet and made both me and my husband feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. This was especially important to my husband because he had been in the wedding parties at several friends' weddings and was extremely uncomfortable taking those pictures. He isn't a huge fan of being in front of the camera, but Emmy put him and me completely at ease. She is such a quiet, calming, happy presence and is a joy to have at your wedding. I will treasure my wedding day photos forever.

Emmy is absolutely amazing to work with. We did both our engagement pictures and wedding photos with her and could not be more happy with everything. She captures love so naturally instead of posed pictures. She has an easy personality to have around on the most important day of our lives. The second shooter on our wedding day was a pleasure to work with as well and we already can't wait until we can work with her again as our life grows together:)

Emmy was incredible! I was so stressed about finding a photographer that was REASONABLE, unique, and willing to work with us from across the country..and Emmy accomplished all of this without any worry! I can't stop showing off my pictures and I can't believe how beautiful she made me look! :-)

I had a great experience with Searching for the Light! The shot my wedding ceremony and reception at the Hotel Albuquerque and Hotel Andaluz, and did an amazing job! I was so impressed with the research and work put into meeting with my coordinators and making sure everything was in place for my big day! I didn't have to worry about getting the pictures I wanted because she knew exactly how to make us look great! :) Loved working with them, so professional and easy going!
