arried at Seascape on September 1st (Labor Day Weekend) and it was a weekend to remember! We booked our wedding about a year in advance and throughout that time, the wedding staff was phenomenal and very easy to work with. Cassandra was our main point of contact and boy did she go above and beyond! During our detail meeting she went over every small detail and let us know what was included and what wasn't - and never pushed us to upgrade or add anything that were were not comfortable with. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, I emailed Cassandra probably every other day with questions and she answered every single one without hesitation or compliant! She is such a sweetheart and worked so well with all of our vendors and guests! The Friday before our wedding (rehearsal day) she was very organized and communicated great with our wedding planner and officiant. She led our group through a successful rehearsal, even with our crazy groomsmen -and did it with a smile! Wedding day came and even though I didn't see the wedding staff all that much, I knew they were there and made sure the day was flawless - since everything was perfect! Out guest LOVED the venue, the food, the view and everything went as planned! I highly recommend booking Seascape for your wedding - and if you do, make sure you take sunset photos, as those are our favorite shots from the day! Can't wait to visit Seascape in the future - thank you again! :)

toured the venue, fell in love with it and officially booked with 105 days till the wedding. It was a lot to do in a short time but working with the wedding team at Seascape made it easy and enjoyable. They were quick to reply to any questions or concerns, never had problems getting ahold of them and they were so helpful. The venue is so beautiful, great views all around the property, and the beach is beautiful. We had a s’mores bonfire the night before our wedding which was a fun way to kick off the weekend with our families. The weather was crazy our wedding weekend but the girls kept checking in with us the week before and during the whole weekend, we went over all of our backup plans and they made sure we were happy with our rain plans which we needed, thankfully not till after the ceremony! We had a buffet dinner and really enjoyed the food both at our menu tasting and the wedding. They made it easy for us to really enjoy our wedding weekend and we are truly happy with how our wedding weekend at Seascape Beach Resort went!

The staff is super professional and helpful and they were always extremely prompt. I felt very taken care of and the entire day went off without a single issue. So many of my guests told me it was the best wedding they had been to and while I'd like to believe its my awesome party planning skills, I know a huge part of it was the venue and staff.

I love the girls Maggie, Brittany and Maya are amazing! so helpful, sweet and very attentive. made us feel very comfortable. The price was very worth it, my guest loved the wedding! We were married in April 2015 and its cheaper that month so we saved $$! (off season) We can't wait to go back to visit!

I immediately called Seascape Resort to see if they had an opening on the day we wanted to get married. We got married 6 months from the date we got engaged and I couldn't be more happy with the choice we made. Seascape Resort is the perfect place for your wedding! Heather and her team of coordinators are the best people to deal with! My husband and I had so much fun working with them! They knew what they were doing and everything happened with ease on the special day. With 16 nieces and nephews between the two of us, the kids buffet was a huge success! Everyone loved the food that was served and we had so many great compliments! Thank you Seascape for making our Wedding Day Truly Amazing!

her? We had the beautiful Monterey Bay and gorgeous weather! Our reception was in the Bayview Room and was perfect. We also had a S'mores Bonfire in the evening where we could all relax and hang out. We received many compliments from our guests! We all had such a great time and are planning to celebrate our 1 year anniversary at Seascape with a Smores Beach Bonfire party. I highly recommend you consider Seascape for your special event.

cation is key and Bridgette and Heather are both great communicators, keeping us informed, sending materials we needed and working with every detail in a timely fashion. From the rehearsal the day before the wedding until we arrived at the venue on the day of the wedding, everything was in place and there were absolutely no glitches. Heather was professional, personal and calm even during the rehearsal with our somewhat rowdy bridal party. The ceremony was perfect and the view is just unbeatable; all of our friends and family were blown away by the beauty of the ceremony site. After the ceremony the transition into the cocktail time was smooth, and guests were so pleased with the appetizers, drinks, etc. I checked out the ballroom just before everyone entered and it was just as I had imagined, if not better. The buffet dinner was SO good, just as we had ordered, and the service was great. Wait staff were so efficient that they were barely noticed by our guests. Timing issues were right on, while flexible to accomodate late guests, long speeches, etc. Even after everything was over the Seascape staff was so kind to us, offering to gather flower arrangements to load into a van. I can't thank Seascape enough for a wonderful wedding.

their staff did a very good job. I couldn't have asked for a better event. Flawless. The food was delicious. We were also lucky that we had a smaller size wedding so we could use the small reception room, as it is the only one that overlooks the beautiful bluff and water, not the parking lot. That said, it was a very, very bumpy road getting to that perfect day with them. They had a lot of staff turnover and I was not confident that they could successfully manage our event. I am a very detail-oriented person and I believe contracts such as this should be specific and non-contradictory. I found their contracts long, but not written very well. Before we would sign, we made sure broad or contradictory items were clarified in writing (no my now husband and I are not lawyers). When it came time to sign our banquet order, we again made sure all notes were specific and that min/max numbers and charges were in line. If you fall in love with this property like I did, I suggest you book it; but speak-up, check everything very carefully and get any negotiations or clarifications in writing. If someone isn't answering your questions or managing your file well, go up the chain. Don't let them rest on their laurels that they are good, and don't let them gouge you. Expect it to be pricy like all nice venues, but dot your "i"s and cross your "t"s and make them rise to the occasion throughout the process.

, and were a pleasure to work with. I remarked to my friends repeatedly through the process of planning our event that "I feel like I am working with experts!" The pre-wedding planning made me comfortable that all of the details were covered, and as we approached the big day I felt very much at ease. Their Wedding Fair in February was a fantastic way to get to know some of the local vendors all at one time. We selected most of our vendors from people we met that day. The outdoor bluff wedding site is quite spectacular and unique, and the many of the photos we have which captured the wedding ceremony look like works of art. I loved having all of our out of town guests stay at the resort, it made all of the logistics for the weekend very simple. I'd also recommend to anyone who is having an event at Seascape to make sure to do the beach fire evening package .... they will set up marshmallows and s'more fixings along with beverages around beach fires. This is one of their really unique special touches that we all really enjoyed.

tail. My one complaint is that the folks at Seascape have a very specific idea of what a wedding should be like. It can be challenging to explain to some of them that you want something a little different. That being said, I did get what I wanted eventually, so this wasn't a huge complaint ultimately, just a little stressful sometimes.

that it is a ridiculous charge and is really unjustified. They only allow vendors off of their list and will not tolerate anyone else. The wedding office can come off somewhat rude at times and a bit snobby.

It was a great one-stop venue that made planning very easy. Also I enjoyed having the guest facilities for all of our out of town guests. Seascape provided us with a recommended vendor list of terrific people that also simplified our planning. I could not recommend them more. There is no lovelier site in the Monterey Bay area.

in my own stuff and could choose any vendor i wanted rather than being stuck to a 'preferred list.' i was able to be creative with the space and the staff was willing to make adjustments to their 'norm' at my request.;the catering event manager changed 3 times in the one year from booking the site to the actual wedding...the lady i ended up with was kind of a nut, but i simply stood my ground and kept what I wanted not what she thought best. try and pay off the golfers so they dont tee off just below the ceremony on the womens tee and drive golf carts around!
