Perfect venue for a beach wedding. We worked with Shayne, Brittany and Kathleen and the wedding was absolutely perfect. These ladies helped guide us through the entire process and met our every need. They answered all of our questions in a timely manner and directed us toward amazing vendors. The food and the staff that worked the day of the wedding were exceptional.

We had our wedding in May 2019 at Seascape Beach Resort and everything was perfect! The wedding team helped us with everything we needed. Brittany made sure that every detailed we envisioned would be there on our special day. She also recommended us great vendors that were really easy to work with which made our day even better. The assistance Brittany and Shayne provided the day off was really amazing. We didn’t have to worry or think about anything, we just had a lot of fun and an amazing day. All of our guests had a great time, and everyone loved the food provided by Seascape. I would definitely recommend having the bonfire at the beach after the reception, it was the best part! Thank you so much!

Ah, this staff is the best! They drove us around in a golf cart for our first touch, and made sure everyone was taken care of! My ring bearer broke his shoes seconds before the wedding and they came through with helping us tape them back together haha. They made me so relaxed and the complimentary suite on the wedding night came with comp. breakfast and a bottle of champagne, like perfect!

The entire wedding staff was absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond and made our wedding day flawless. The food was fantastic and the service staff was on point. Take advantage of the beach bonfire option the night before your wedding. They do a classy set up with a bar and s'mores. It was the most amazing weekend. I highly recommend this venue.

From the first time I stepped foot onsite, I fell in love! The location, the view, the staff - just the overall atmosphere was everything we wanted from our wedding venue! We got married at Seascape on September 1st (Labor Day Weekend) and it was a weekend to remember! We booked our wedding about a year in advance and throughout that time, the wedding staff was phenomenal and very easy to work with. Cassandra was our main point of contact and boy did she go above and beyond! During our detail meeting she went over every small detail and let us know what was included and what wasn't - and never pushed us to upgrade or add anything that were were not comfortable with. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, I emailed Cassandra probably every other day with questions and she answered every single one without hesitation or compliant! She is such a sweetheart and worked so well with all of our vendors and guests! The Friday before our wedding (rehearsal day) she was very organized and communicated great with our wedding planner and officiant. She led our group through a successful rehearsal, even with our crazy groomsmen -and did it with a smile! Wedding day came and even though I didn't see the wedding staff all that much, I knew they were there and made sure the day was flawless - since everything was perfect! Out guest LOVED the venue, the food, the view and everything went as planned! I highly recommend booking Seascape for your wedding - and if you do, make sure you take sunset photos, as those are our favorite shots from the day! Can't wait to visit Seascape in the future - thank you again! :)

We got married on 3-17-18 and I can’t say enough good things about Seascape Beach Resort and especially the wedding team! Rachel, Cassandra and Maya were so great to work with. We toured the venue, fell in love with it and officially booked with 105 days till the wedding. It was a lot to do in a short time but working with the wedding team at Seascape made it easy and enjoyable. They were quick to reply to any questions or concerns, never had problems getting ahold of them and they were so helpful. The venue is so beautiful, great views all around the property, and the beach is beautiful. We had a s’mores bonfire the night before our wedding which was a fun way to kick off the weekend with our families. The weather was crazy our wedding weekend but the girls kept checking in with us the week before and during the whole weekend, we went over all of our backup plans and they made sure we were happy with our rain plans which we needed, thankfully not till after the ceremony! We had a buffet dinner and really enjoyed the food both at our menu tasting and the wedding. They made it easy for us to really enjoy our wedding weekend and we are truly happy with how our wedding weekend at Seascape Beach Resort went!

We could not have asked for a better wedding day! The team at Seascape were amazing and so helpful. Our ceremony, reception and bonfire all went smoothly and made for a very memorable day with family and friends! Thank you for making our wedding day so special.

Could not speak highly enough about this venue and staff and would recommend to anyone. When anyone asks what the best part about my wedding/wedding planning was I tell them my venue. The day, the weather, the view, the staff, everything about this place way more than I could have dreamed. Made for the most perfect wedding. The staff is super professional and helpful and they were always extremely prompt. I felt very taken care of and the entire day went off without a single issue. So many of my guests told me it was the best wedding they had been to and while I'd like to believe its my awesome party planning skills, I know a huge part of it was the venue and staff.

My Husband and I had a beautiful, intimate ocean view wedding at the resort! we had our ceremony on their beautiful bluff! our reception was inside in one of the spacious, elegant ball rooms. They provide all things for both the ceremony and reception party! BEST STAFF!! I love the girls Maggie, Brittany and Maya are amazing! so helpful, sweet and very attentive. made us feel very comfortable. The price was very worth it, my guest loved the wedding! We were married in April 2015 and its cheaper that month so we saved $$! (off season) We can't wait to go back to visit!

Maggie and her team did a wonderful job! Seascape was so beautiful!! They just remodel and the place was so beautiful!!! The place was beautiful, everyone love the Appetizers. And the the dinner was wonderful!!!

Back in February when I got engaged, I was insistent that I have my wedding at Seascape. With my entire family flying in from out of state, I wanted to have the majority of my special day take place on the ocean with breathtaking views. I also had some great recommendations from some of my close friends that grew up in the Santa Cruz area. I immediately called Seascape Resort to see if they had an opening on the day we wanted to get married. We got married 6 months from the date we got engaged and I couldn't be more happy with the choice we made. Seascape Resort is the perfect place for your wedding! Heather and her team of coordinators are the best people to deal with! My husband and I had so much fun working with them! They knew what they were doing and everything happened with ease on the special day. With 16 nieces and nephews between the two of us, the kids buffet was a huge success! Everyone loved the food that was served and we had so many great compliments! Thank you Seascape for making our Wedding Day Truly Amazing!

Seascape was the perfect place for my wedding! The beach atmosphere was so beautiful and the staff was incredible to work with. They were so friendly and made my big day everything I could have hoped for!

Extremely professional event planning team. Loved Heather and Bridgette! We had a small wedding of 70. For the ceremony we did not use the arbor and had very few flowers, why bother? We had the beautiful Monterey Bay and gorgeous weather! Our reception was in the Bayview Room and was perfect. We also had a S'mores Bonfire in the evening where we could all relax and hang out. We received many compliments from our guests! We all had such a great time and are planning to celebrate our 1 year anniversary at Seascape with a Smores Beach Bonfire party. I highly recommend you consider Seascape for your special event.

I believed that the "perfect wedding" was impossible but I was wrong. Seascape Resort WAS perfect, everything about the day and also working with the staff at the resort. Communication is key and Bridgette and Heather are both great communicators, keeping us informed, sending materials we needed and working with every detail in a timely fashion. From the rehearsal the day before the wedding until we arrived at the venue on the day of the wedding, everything was in place and there were absolutely no glitches. Heather was professional, personal and calm even during the rehearsal with our somewhat rowdy bridal party. The ceremony was perfect and the view is just unbeatable; all of our friends and family were blown away by the beauty of the ceremony site. After the ceremony the transition into the cocktail time was smooth, and guests were so pleased with the appetizers, drinks, etc. I checked out the ballroom just before everyone entered and it was just as I had imagined, if not better. The buffet dinner was SO good, just as we had ordered, and the service was great. Wait staff were so efficient that they were barely noticed by our guests. Timing issues were right on, while flexible to accomodate late guests, long speeches, etc. Even after everything was over the Seascape staff was so kind to us, offering to gather flower arrangements to load into a van. I can't thank Seascape enough for a wonderful wedding.

I fell in love with the view and feel of the place immediately, as I wanted an outside ceremony overlooking the ocean and that is what I got. The actual day went perfectly and their staff did a very good job. I couldn't have asked for a better event. Flawless. The food was delicious. We were also lucky that we had a smaller size wedding so we could use the small reception room, as it is the only one that overlooks the beautiful bluff and water, not the parking lot. That said, it was a very, very bumpy road getting to that perfect day with them. They had a lot of staff turnover and I was not confident that they could successfully manage our event. I am a very detail-oriented person and I believe contracts such as this should be specific and non-contradictory. I found their contracts long, but not written very well. Before we would sign, we made sure broad or contradictory items were clarified in writing (no my now husband and I are not lawyers). When it came time to sign our banquet order, we again made sure all notes were specific and that min/max numbers and charges were in line. If you fall in love with this property like I did, I suggest you book it; but speak-up, check everything very carefully and get any negotiations or clarifications in writing. If someone isn't answering your questions or managing your file well, go up the chain. Don't let them rest on their laurels that they are good, and don't let them gouge you. Expect it to be pricy like all nice venues, but dot your "i"s and cross your "t"s and make them rise to the occasion throughout the process.

With the good fortune of perfect summer weather, our wedding at Seascape was everything we had hoped for. The wedding staff (Wanona, Heather and Lynn) were complete professionals, and were a pleasure to work with. I remarked to my friends repeatedly through the process of planning our event that "I feel like I am working with experts!" The pre-wedding planning made me comfortable that all of the details were covered, and as we approached the big day I felt very much at ease. Their Wedding Fair in February was a fantastic way to get to know some of the local vendors all at one time. We selected most of our vendors from people we met that day. The outdoor bluff wedding site is quite spectacular and unique, and the many of the photos we have which captured the wedding ceremony look like works of art. I loved having all of our out of town guests stay at the resort, it made all of the logistics for the weekend very simple. I'd also recommend to anyone who is having an event at Seascape to make sure to do the beach fire evening package .... they will set up marshmallows and s'more fixings along with beverages around beach fires. This is one of their really unique special touches that we all really enjoyed.

In general, this was an amazing place to have my wedding. The wedding bluff is gorgeous, the ballrooms are lovely and the staff are incredibly efficient and helpful about every detail. My one complaint is that the folks at Seascape have a very specific idea of what a wedding should be like. It can be challenging to explain to some of them that you want something a little different. That being said, I did get what I wanted eventually, so this wasn't a huge complaint ultimately, just a little stressful sometimes.

The staff were incredible - made everything run so smoothly and planning was very simple and stress free. The food options were great. The venue was not at all 'hotel-y' as our room had 270 degree windows overlooking monterey bay. The outdoor grounds are perfect and the value was great considering all that was included. It was a great one-stop venue that made planning very easy. Also I enjoyed having the guest facilities for all of our out of town guests. Seascape provided us with a recommended vendor list of terrific people that also simplified our planning. I could not recommend them more. There is no lovelier site in the Monterey Bay area.

I loved that it had a bar built in to the venue. I loved the flexibility that they provided. I loved that they let us bring in our own wine for the wedding party. I loved how nice and friendly everyone was. I loved that there was no time limit and we had the place for the whole day. The food was wonderful.

Location, location, location! The scenery was amazing. There were so many wonderful places to take pictures. The resort is right on the beach so it was beautiful, but the grounds were also gorgeous. Lots of flowers, trees, etc.;The head wedding coordinator forgot a few minor details and my mom had to remind her of them the morning of the wedding. In the end, they were taken care of.

The location and view for one. Seascape Resort is on a bluff/cliff so you have a view of the whole ocean. This also made for such great pictures. My husband and I really enjoyed working with the complimentary wedding planners. They made everything so easy and smooth.;I had an issue with my veil. It can get windy so I would think twice about wearing one.

All in all the wedding was beautiful. Its a gorgeous location and you will fall in love with the ocean backdrop.;The venue taxes everything on top of the service charge. I think that it is a ridiculous charge and is really unjustified. They only allow vendors off of their list and will not tolerate anyone else. The wedding office can come off somewhat rude at times and a bit snobby.

I loved the fact that everyone there took really good care of us as well as our guest. I also loved the fact that everything was all at one place. We had our ceremony reception and a place to stay all in one place. Our guests loved it as well.;It can be pricey and you have to use the resorts vendors which can also be up there in cost.

i loved that we were able to have the ceremony and reception in the same place. the view was beautiful and the room was big but not over the top. i liked that i was able to bring in my own stuff and could choose any vendor i wanted rather than being stuck to a 'preferred list.' i was able to be creative with the space and the staff was willing to make adjustments to their 'norm' at my request.;the catering event manager changed 3 times in the one year from booking the site to the actual wedding...the lady i ended up with was kind of a nut, but i simply stood my ground and kept what I wanted not what she thought best. try and pay off the golfers so they dont tee off just below the ceremony on the womens tee and drive golf carts around!
