k my wedding. Not only are you keeping my $633 but you were offering to charge me an additional $225 if I chose to re-book with you at a later date. As far as having empathy, I have the empathy, looks like you choose not to have any when there is a pandemic going on and you are making it like I chose not to go ahead with my wedding. You do realize the whole country in a state of national emergency?? You were not even willing to compromise at all. I am sadden that in such a stressful environment that someone has to deal with something as petty as this. I have cancelled (AND NOT BY CHOICE) all my wedding plans, including flights, venues and other vendors with ease, you are the only one that has given me a problem. It seems that you always hide behind the word "contract". As far as the screaming, that did not happen. As far as the crying, that did happen because my wedding plans had come to an end and your callous, unprofessional demeanor was a big part of my crying. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM! Realize that the contract is etched in blood and you will have no flexibility, understanding or practical concern from these people. Individuals, organizations and companies are judged not by how they comport themselves in times when things all go well, but how they respond to exceptionally challenging situations. Cold hearted, unprofessional, black-white, narrow thinking only begins to describe the nature of this company. Only God can judge – yet after reading a few of the other brief stories/reviews (which we should have before we booked); you get a glimpse into their lack of compassion, personal concern and humanity we experienced as well. You would think you have signed a deal with the devil, rather than with caring people helping set up a most joyous day. I hope that the $633 (paid in full) pound of flesh has made them happy and keeps their family afloat during these tense times – a national state of emergency – flight restrictions – life and death. As the entire nation (world) struggles to accommodate, join together and figure a way to deal with this unprecedented Coronavirus Pandemic – Ren threw the contract in our faces (as I suppose is her legal right) - as it clearly appears to be her mantra (go ahead, say CONTRACT one more time). Hearing her say “… oh well, people lose money all the time, it happens, I’m hanging up … click”. No meeting us half-way, offering to reschedule the event, or allowing us to simply cover second tier vendor costs – NOPE! Caveat Emptor – lesson learned. Thanks for the sterile corporate morality. Incidentally, every other vendor has worked WITH us, and have been incredibly accommodating and helpful (airlines, hotel, hall, hair, makeup, rentals). What a piece of work.

We selected our location, chose our package, had many ornamental options to choice from, and Ren was excellent in offering suggestions. We had discussed flowers, nothing particular, and the flowers were absolutely Perfect! They were gorgeous! Grant was our officiant, Cuvier was beautifully decorated, the photographer was great….everyone was professional and made the whole experience extra special. It was nice to just have to figure out the small details and show up and have everything set up taken care of before we got there and after the ceremony. I loved our flowers and my bouquet turned out so beautiful I had to go and get it preserved! The photographer that they provided did a wonderful job as well and she was very friendly. All our vendors were hired after reading tons on online reviews and we didn’t go wrong hiring A Beautiful Wedding. Before I even booked Ren for our ceremony, she was readily available to help me choose the perfect beach for our ceremony and walked me through the process of securing permits. Ren was extremely responsive to all my emails and always very professional. She literally walked us through each decision that needed to be made. And, she even created a customized canopy for us which turned out so nice and romantic. It was just what I had envisioned. Everything from the flower arrangements to the exact beach location turned out great.

Directions and times were clear and easy to understand so all we had to do is show up! As a former wedding photographer I have a better appreciation than most of how a quality team can make your special day less stressful. The downside for someone will be that all correspondence is via email, but I didn't mind that at all. In the end, they managed to secure my location, take care of the license, the officiant, the decorations, photographer and everything else in between. My wedding site and the ceremony turned out beautiful. Thanks to them, my whole experience was just simple stress free. I will highly recommend them as a vendor.

My kids (the bride/maid of honor) were so stressed and nervous, and Grant and his staff had everything set up early, and spent time talking with us all and keeping the girls and moms completely calm and happy. My only regret is that I did not use these guys when I got married 20 years ago. I cannot recommend them enough. Keep in mind, we live in Tucson, Az and this wedding was in San Diego, so we were unsure of what we would find when we got to the beach for the ceremony. A Beautiful Wedding blew us away. They FAR exceeded our expectations. Again...USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Everything I asked for was included and it made the whole process so easy. Definitely put your big day in their hands, resting assured that you pretty much just have to show up and say "I do". it us was Coronado. We searched online and found A Beautiful Wedding, a company run by Renate Daversa and her husband Grant. We contacted them by email and set up the preliminaries, asked questions, and worked out details. During this process, prior to submitting our deposit, we read an online review that was very negative towards Ren and her company. We called Ren and spoke directly with her. To plan the biggest day of your life without meeting the people responsible for the details was a bit nerve racking. There are all kinds of doubts that fill your mind; Will they fulfill their end of the deal? Will they even show up? If not, can I get my money back? Ren reassured us that the negative review was a fluke by someone who was disgruntled and confused. But still, we kept in contact with Ren, just to make sure that things were going well and on track. Ren kept her word. We arrived in California the day of the ceremony, and when we arrived at the beach, everyone was there waiting for us along with everything we had expected: the photographer (Fritz Harmon, who was also amazing), Grant, (Ren’s husband who performed the ceremony), all of the items for our sand ceremony, and some of the most beautiful, fresh flowers that we had ever seen. It was cold and windy that day at sunset, but Grant didn’t falter at all in his ceremony. He also didn’t “rush” because of the weather. In short, Renate, Grant, and A Beautiful Wedding met and exceeded all of our expectations. They provided what they said they would, they performed with excellence, and they followed through with their promises. AND, they were affordable and competitive in price. My fiancée and I were worried and concerned for no reason whatsoever. We HIGHLY recommend A Beautiful Wedding for anyone looking for wedding services in the San Diego area. You will not be disappointed. We did indeed have a beautiful wedding. Thank you Renate and Grant for making our day perfect.

You can get everything you need for your ceremony from them, I also rented a sound system for my reception through them, and so if you're looking for a one stop shop they are the perfect choice. Their team made our wedding day perfect, and was very accommodating when inclement weather required us to move our ceremony last minute to an indoor location.
