ideo call to learn more about us. She took the stories we told in our questionnaire and wrote the most beautiful ceremony script I could have imagined. It was so personal and so special, so many guests not only complimented the way she spoke during the ceremony, but also said that they’d never been to a ceremony that was so beautiful and personal. I had a few people say that they never cry at weddings, but they cried during our ceremony because it was so incredibly well written and impactful. I couldn’t have imagined a better person to choose to be our officiant. Not only was she a dream to work with in the process of writing the ceremony, but when she arrived, she was punctual, and helped get things handled while we were waiting for the ceremony to begin. She also checked in with me and my husband which I thought was really sweet. I actually was so nervous for my ceremony that I almost walked down the aisle without my bouquet! Kristin popped in just before the ceremony to remind me to grab it! We adored working with Kristin, and we couldn’t recommend her highly enough. Thank you so much for everything, Kristin, you made our dream day come true!

e sure our ceremony was tailored to us as a couple. She gave us very detail information on how to apply for the marriage license and certificate. It made things easy for us and I don't have do my own research.

We chose to go with a script she already had, but she edited it a tiny bit to fit us, and it fit us perfectly. We also chose not to write out vows and used some she had and even those were perfect. We loved the templates she offered and also love that she offers a completely personalized option. Even though we went with one her templates, we still felt it properly captured how we feel about marriage and love, it felt very personal to us and it was written beautifully. We were still able to say our own written vows and it flowed so well with her script. Communication was very clear and easy, she never made us feel any sort of stress which was so appreciated. able to make plans at short notice, and be incredibly flexible - even though we were doing a small wedding with just the two of us, and a relatively short ceremony, she went absolutely above and beyond, not only suggesting potential beach spots where we could get married, but then offering to travel from Ventura down to Point Dume to perform our small ceremony, rather than asking us to go to her location instead, like all the other celebrants we had tried! She delivered a lovely service against the backdrop of the ocean and the sunset that was truly perfect, and was so friendly throughout that we ended up inviting her to our small wedding dinner after - and we would now have no hesitation in thinking of her as a good friend! ide Ceremonies, we knew we’d found the right person to help us tie the know on our special day. Over a series of months, we met via Zoom with Kristin, with her really getting to know the two of us in a very special way. Kristin made us feel at ease, and via a detailed questionnaire that each of us filled out separately, she was able to craft a memorable and very meaningful ceremony script for the wedding day. Without having ever met her in person, we got a great feeling from Kristin - and when the day came that she delivered our actual ceremony script, we were equal parts excited / scared / anxious - all rolled into one. We opened up her email and read what she had written - and we literally had to stop multiple times to wipe away the tears from our eyes. She got everything so perfect - from tiny details we’d included in our questionnaires to things we’d mentioned in passing to her via zoom and emails. She wove the story of our love together so beautifully and we knew immediately that the ceremony would be deeply moving for our guests. We made a few minor tweaks to what she’d written, but overall she’d done an amazing job. Kristin joined us on the day of our rehearsal, truly the first time we’d met her face to face. At this point, she knew us intimately, and helped to soothe our fears and put us at ease. On the day of the wedding, we were calm and cool … until it came time to actually walk down the aisle. But at the end, there stood Kristin, ready to take us to the next chapter! And while it mattered not in the least, Kristin is gorgeous - and her radiant smile welcomed us like an old friend. The script she had written was perhaps a little longer than others - but it was filled with love and told our story in a magical and wonderful way - bringing both tears and laughter to our friends and family who joined us. Kristin was a pro - helping those in our wedding party, working with our wedding planner and the musicians - making everything seamless and stress-free on our wedding day. Before we knew it, the ceremony was done and Kristin took care of the details of our marriage license. And before she left, we managed to get a few photos with her - and gave her our thanks. The ceremony that she wrote for us is something we’ll treasure forever. We have those beautiful words to look back on - to reflect on - and we couldn’t have been more pleased with all that she brought to the most special day of our lives together.

On the actual wedding day, Kristin arrived early and made sure to check in with us to see if we needed anything and that our whole bridal party was all set for the walk down the aisle. During the ceremony, our microphone / speakers were actually malfunctioning a bit but Kristin ended up solving the problem by just projecting loud and clear so that everyone could hear her. After the ceremony, Kristin even helped us wrangle friends and family for pictures while she patiently waited to get a picture with us. Kristin exceeded our expectations and was so professional from start to finish. We can't recommend Kristin enough--thank you to Kristin for making our wedding day all that much more special!

19 pandemic began to surface. We waited it out for a while hoping for the best, but in April we had to make the difficult decision for the safety of our families & friends to postpone our wedding until the following summer. Five months later my fiancé’s company began lay-offs due to the pandemic. We were worried about not having health benefits &/or visitation rights should one of us become severely ill. We discussed it, & decided that we didn’t want to take any chances by waiting to get married next year. Kristen was so professional & kind. Without hesitation she offered to perform a brief ceremony in addition to also keeping our “official” 2021 ceremony date as planned. Kristen married us in a park under a big tree on a beautiful sunny day in mid October. She kept the ceremony short & sweet. Her kind words were so comforting that for the moment we forgot we were in a pandemic, & were able to mindfully focus on each other. Kristen made our “unofficially official” special day something we will always remember.

I also appreciated how she made the ceremony about us and not her While looking for officiants via websites, YouTube etc we noticed quite a few "show" people offering services And we got concerned they'd make the ceremony more about them . With Kristin this is not the case. As I said 5 stars and beyond.
