Kristin was amazing! Everyone was talking about how good her script was and how clearly she spoke. She was very clear and helpful on what we needed to do and eased our nerves. She is also very good at communicating and making the process a lot easier!

We loved Kristin! She was a pleasure to work with and delivered the perfect ceremony. We used pieces of various ceremony templates she provided while personalizing them and including a candle lighting ceremony portion. This review is so incredibly long overdue (we got married 5/20/2022), but absolutely wanted to take the time to give Kristin the recognition she deserves! Our ceremony was absolutely perfect in every way, we could not have asked for a better officiant than Kristin. We felt very comfortable with her from the beginning and her whole process is very easy and stress free. We loved the templates she offered and also love that she offers a completely personalized option. Even though we went with one her templates, we still felt it properly captured how we feel about marriage and love, it felt very personal to us and it was written beautifully. We were still able to say our own written vows and it flowed so well with her script. Communication was very clear and easy, she never made us feel any sort of stress which was so appreciated. Kristin was the celebrant of our wedding, and we couldn’t have wished for a friendlier, warmer, funnier, more professional or heartfelt person to perform our ceremony! Kristin was able to make plans at short notice, and be incredibly flexible - even though we were doing a small wedding with just the two of us, and a relatively short ceremony, she went absolutely above and beyond, not only suggesting potential beach spots where we could get married, but then offering to travel from Ventura down to Point Dume to perform our small ceremony, rather than asking us to go to her location instead, like all the other celebrants we had tried! She delivered a lovely service against the backdrop of the ocean and the sunset that was truly perfect, and was so friendly throughout that we ended up inviting her to our small wedding dinner after - and we would now have no hesitation in thinking of her as a good friend! Kristin was the BEST wedding officiant we could've asked for! My husband and I were both a little nervous for our big day, but she made us feel at ease and made sure our ceremony ran smoothly. As two gay men getting married, we knew from the start that we wanted a woman to be our wedding officiant - and when a good friend of ours referred us to Kristin Cusenbary and Seaside Ceremonies, we knew we’d found the right person to help us tie the know on our special day. Over a series of months, we met via Zoom with Kristin, with her really getting to know the two of us in a very special way. Kristin made us feel at ease, and via a detailed questionnaire that each of us filled out separately, she was able to craft a memorable and very meaningful ceremony script for the wedding day. Without having ever met her in person, we got a great feeling from Kristin - and when the day came that she delivered our actual ceremony script, we were equal parts excited / scared / anxious - all rolled into one. We opened up her email and read what she had written - and we literally had to stop multiple times to wipe away the tears from our eyes. She got everything so perfect - from tiny details we’d included in our questionnaires to things we’d mentioned in passing to her via zoom and emails. She wove the story of our love together so beautifully and we knew immediately that the ceremony would be deeply moving for our guests. We made a few minor tweaks to what she’d written, but overall she’d done an amazing job. Kristin joined us on the day of our rehearsal, truly the first time we’d met her face to face. At this point, she knew us intimately, and helped to soothe our fears and put us at ease. On the day of the wedding, we were calm and cool … until it came time to actually walk down the aisle. But at the end, there stood Kristin, ready to take us to the next chapter! And while it mattered not in the least, Kristin is gorgeous - and her radiant smile welcomed us like an old friend. The script she had written was perhaps a little longer than others - but it was filled with love and told our story in a magical and wonderful way - bringing both tears and laughter to our friends and family who joined us. Kristin was a pro - helping those in our wedding party, working with our wedding planner and the musicians - making everything seamless and stress-free on our wedding day. Before we knew it, the ceremony was done and Kristin took care of the details of our marriage license. And before she left, we managed to get a few photos with her - and gave her our thanks. The ceremony that she wrote for us is something we’ll treasure forever. We have those beautiful words to look back on - to reflect on - and we couldn’t have been more pleased with all that she brought to the most special day of our lives together.

Absolutely amazing. We were both very nervous about the ceremony bit of the day, but Kristin held our hands and helped us develop a truly tailored and meaningful ceremony just for us. I feel like our guests got to know us even better as a couple, there was not a dry eye in the crowd, and the whole vibe was totally us! You can clearly see the passion and interest Kristin has for creating the perfect day for you :) She really takes the time to get to know you as individuals, a couple, and your story. Kristin was wonderful to work with before the wedding, all the way leading up to the wedding and on our actual wedding day. Kristin did a great job writing us a very personal ceremony speech that really expressed our love story for our friends and family. On the actual wedding day, Kristin arrived early and made sure to check in with us to see if we needed anything and that our whole bridal party was all set for the walk down the aisle. During the ceremony, our microphone / speakers were actually malfunctioning a bit but Kristin ended up solving the problem by just projecting loud and clear so that everyone could hear her. After the ceremony, Kristin even helped us wrangle friends and family for pictures while she patiently waited to get a picture with us. Kristin exceeded our expectations and was so professional from start to finish. We can't recommend Kristin enough--thank you to Kristin for making our wedding day all that much more special!

I will say the moment we spoke to Kristen we could feel the enthusiasm and passion for what she does. She made the whole experience from start to finish perfect. She gave us various options and it was extremely well put together. The day of the wedding was amazing and she just enhanced the moment. We couldnt of asked for a better person to marry us. My fiancé & I were so excited for our wedding scheduled for mid-June of 2020. We had everything planned & booked for a summer beach ceremony. However, in March news of the COVID-19 pandemic began to surface. We waited it out for a while hoping for the best, but in April we had to make the difficult decision for the safety of our families & friends to postpone our wedding until the following summer. Five months later my fiancé’s company began lay-offs due to the pandemic. We were worried about not having health benefits &/or visitation rights should one of us become severely ill. We discussed it, & decided that we didn’t want to take any chances by waiting to get married next year. Kristen was so professional & kind. Without hesitation she offered to perform a brief ceremony in addition to also keeping our “official” 2021 ceremony date as planned. Kristen married us in a park under a big tree on a beautiful sunny day in mid October. She kept the ceremony short & sweet. Her kind words were so comforting that for the moment we forgot we were in a pandemic, & were able to mindfully focus on each other. Kristen made our “unofficially official” special day something we will always remember.

I also appreciated how she made the ceremony about us and not her While looking for officiants via websites, YouTube etc we noticed quite a few "show" people offering services And we got concerned they'd make the ceremony more about them . Kristin was a great wedding officiant. She was prompt, professional and clear in her communication along the way. She made everything easy from payment to messages on her online communication portal. We had a perfect day. We wanted to get married through the County Clerk's office, but they are only issuing licenses, not ceremonies due to the pandemic. We wanted something short, simple, and casual. Kristin set the perfect tone and met our expectations for what we requested and her prices are very reasonable.

Like many brides and grooms, we were affected by COVID 19 and had to postpone our wedding. Once our county started issuing marriage licenses, Kristin was the first person we thought of for our backyard intimate wedding. I knew Kristin because she was also an officiant when I was a bridesmaid for another wedding. Kristin was a true professional, but also made our ceremony feel so special. If I could give Kristin 10 stars, I would. My husband and I live in another part of California so all of our communication pre-wedding was through phone and email and we didn’t actually meet her until our rehearsal. Despite the distance she wrote an AMAZING ceremony! It was so personal to us and included so many details that made it incredibly meaningful. Several people said it was the best wedding ceremony they’ve been to. Aside from beautiful writing, Kristin is also very professional and personable, she had all the legal information easily available and was always easy to reach for questions. We could not have been happier with Kristin and we’re so happy we chose her to marry us!

Kristin was AMAZING! She was a little of a last minute addition due to the officiant we had planned on was in an accident. she immediately got in contact with us both via email and a short phone conversation to get a feel for what we wanted for the ceremony. my favorite thing about her is she gave us plenty of recommendations( I had no idea what I wanted) me and my (now) husband filled out some forms about ourselves such as how we met/ our engagement story/ our life since we've been together and some thing we both loved and some of our more annoying traits. From all this information she wrote and incredible ceremony script we got the chance to proof read before hand but it was perfect. After the ceremony we had several people compliment us on the ceremony and how it was so well written and they loved that that got to hear all the details on how we met and the engagement story. Kristin also gave them a glimpse of some of our more difficult moments of us together ( we were long distance due to both of us being in the militray). We are so happy we went with kristin to tell our story on one of the biggest days of our lives!

After researching a lot of other potentials, we decided Kristin would be a good fit for us because she had a professional, but warm and authentic presence. For us, we wanted a ceremony that was a little non-traditional and fun, but still recognizable as a wedding ceremony and Kristin delivered in a big way. She was very responsive, thoughtful and attentive to our desires. She also had great ideas when it came to pointing us in the right direction on what is appropriate and special. Kristin sent us a draft to review of our ceremony well in advance of our big day so that we had complete confidence in what to expect and she made our ceremony feel like it was completely unique to us. She even met up with us to meet our fur child (Juan Pablo the dog) before the ceremony so that everyone was familiar and friendly going into the event. She has an amazing questionnaire that truly put together the perfect speech/script for our ceremony. when my two year old decided to interrupt our ceremony tugging on her dress she still carried on with class. Kristin went above and beyond for our ceremony. We had lots of questions along the way and she was always there and willing to help. Even when we had a slight change the day of she was on top of it and totally understanding. Her personalization for officiating was beautiful and well done. She also helped us both with making sure our personal vows flowed well. I would definetly recommend Kristin!!!

We worked with Kristin for our wedding, and it was an amazing experience. She made our ceremony very personalized. Even the questionnaire that she sent to us to prepare her speech had my husband and I laughing and brought us closer together as we thought of all the answers that we could choose. She is also a really nice person and listened to all of our concerns. She helped explain everything to us so that we knew what to expect and we could choose what new or old traditions we wished to use. She also walked us through all the steps for getting our marriage license before the wedding and the certificate after.

We couldn't have asked for a better officiant! There were several things we wanted added to our ceremony and Kristin really put structure and flow to it. Passages were added that we would have never thought of but fit us so well! The ceremony was flawless and Kristin worked with us to create something unique.
