research I decided to book dj together with his photo booth after hearing what they said would be great prices just 3-4 months prior..which turned into around 4,500 bucks for everything plus tip while there may not have been much photos being taken anyway - BUT since each person gets to take pictures and dance it was no problem but if your planning anything super long then maybe reconsider and get the extra lighting......it seems like any additional price breaks might be worth it.

Jay performed his DJ set for our wedding guests while hosting a special guest engagement night the night before that. We hired Jay because he is a featured and award-winning live DJ playing original tunes by artists such as A Tribe Called Quest...
& Justin Timberlake. He helped us raised money for children's cancer research at our wedding -- everything you need or want for your wedding is covered right there during the DJ show itself including the photo booth. We had lots of fun dancing along just seeing those amazing tracks play off their respective stages...we couldn't think what else would make anyone say "that one really catchy hit??" Well the DJ played Kanye West and everyone loved it! Super good at mixing records. Great DJ.

DO NOT BOOK!! If I could leave a negative 5 stars, I would. We spoke with Jay a few times during our meetings. When spoke, he seemed to understand how we wanted to do our wedding but on the day of, there were so many issues that occurred especi...
ally during important parts of our wedding.
* Couldn’t follow instructions for wedding ceremony and reception, even though we had multiple meetings and he said the he’s got it and understood.
* Said the brides name incorrectly even though he was communicating with her throughout the process
* mic feedback during the beginning of ceremony for groom walk
* Incorrect ceremony song for bride entrance
* Didn’t tell guests to rise for the bride before she entered
* Talked to dj prior to event about stalling for the bride and groom grand entrance song, But that did not happen so entrance was incorrect as the song was cut the song too soon.
* Didn’t make the monogram format that was asked for even though he communicated that it was possible to do
* Monogram projector also was too dark so it could not have been seen unless you were standing next to it
* Communicated with dj on what the bride and groom were going to do during the grand entrance, but once we reached the dance floor the music was cut before any dance could have been done and it went straight to the first dance song

We didn't have access or friends in Seattle who had experience with big groups like this so we went from there- my fiancé being that crazy about making small group dance parties while his crew is around for 2 days as well as him getting free eq...

My friend got me drinks before everyone else too just because i wanted to meet them when they're not dancing LOL lol :) The reception planner who recommended the DJ also told me she always wants someone "different" because they are different in their personality. In May 2021, we held two weddings involving 3-4 dozen guests: we hired the same DJ for both weddings for 2 couples who chose white vs black based garments for each other's party pieces AND the DJ attended all events throughout both locations providing music leading up – plus multiple family friends went to both weddings. I definitely recommend this DJ :)
