Seattle Parties

Leaslie and Seattle Parties were a hit. They were priced right. Not the cheapest and not the most expensive either. The value Leslie delivered exceeded our expectations. Use them if they are available. Having Leslie MC, and help guide our wedding night along was done flawlessly. People couldn't stop talking about the music and from the time the music started, people didn't stop dancing until the end of the night. A blast was had by all.

Sean was the DJ at our wedding and he killed it! Sean was really easy to communicate with and he really understood our musical vision for our wedding day. He also went above and beyond during the Buffett by personally inviting each tables to gather their dinner. I was also very impressed with how organized Seattle Parties online information was. Great company to work with and Sean is wonderful!

We had Sean for our DJ and he was so wonderful! We have been told numerous times that the music at our wedding was great. Sean was so great to work with. He even helped me brainstorm lighting ideas for the outside portion of the venue, which went above his job duties. We gave him a list of songs that we liked and he did a great job mixing those in with his own. So many people were out on the dance floor - both mid 20-year-olds to the parents and even some grandparents!! Thank you Sean -can't recommend enough!

We loved DJ Sean! From our first meeting you could tell he was passionate about music in general and a true expect in his field. We had a wide span of ages and tastes and he covered them all. The sound for the ceremony was perfect, no glitches, and he made us an audio recording which we love. His pricing was fair and inclusive. We didn't have to worry about extra hours or add on's. Highly recommend!

A friend of our's got married in October and used DJ Leslie at her wedding. After seeing her in action at their wedding, we knew we had to snag her for our July wedding in Roche Harbor! We met with her several months before and we ended up talking for hours about music and what we envisioned for our big day. Two weeks before the wedding, we still hadn't decided on a recessional song, introduction song, or exit song, and my husband was starting to get incredibly stressed. Luckily, DJ Leslie met with us and took away all of that stress but helping us choose the perfect songs. Our wedding reception was only 4 hours, so we had almost no wiggle room in our schedule. DJ Leslie put together a timeline that made everything seamless, and even though the toasts went a little longer than anticipated, she was able to adjust so that nothing else was missed or cut short. She absolutely ROCKED the dance floor and kept the party going all night! Our friends and family could not stop raving about how "awesome" our DJ was. She also arranged for us to have pictures taken on her friend's beautiful yacht as a surprise- talk about going above and beyond for her clients! Our day was absolutely perfect because of DJ Leslie. She is the BEST!!! Thank you, Leslie and Seattle Parties for making our day perfect!

DJ Leslie was AMAZING at our Halloween wedding. She came into the venue as I was getting my hair and makeup done, and my mother-in-law remarked that she was impressed with how Leslie immediately jumped into testing the sound system with positive energy, using her test announcements to cheer on the people that were prepping the space and making people more happy and relaxed with her awesomely fun attitude. Leslie also added uplighting before the ceremony, coordinating with the groom to get the perfect look for us, and strongly supporting our overall vision for the look of the space. Since we were having a Halloween wedding, she brought along a couple of fun spooky props that really added to the space too. During the ceremony, our music sounded great and she hit all of her cues exactly right. During dinner, she played songs that matched our playlist and style that we wanted, and she was super-accommodating as various plans shifted around at the last second, like when certain things were announced or the order that toasts would happen. Leslie especially shone during the reception. We are kind of a geeky crowd and not the most prone to letting loose and dancing the night away, but she was great at reading the room, playing songs that matched our style while keeping people having fun and dancing. Her announcements were hilarious and she and her assistant were clearly having fun, dancing and enjoying themselves up on stage, which a lot of people in the room enjoyed watching. That is the most that I or the groom have ever danced by far, and other people in the room were also surprised by how much fun they had getting their groove on. All in all, AMAZING, WONDERFUL, "FANG-TASTIC" DJ. I cannot say enough good things about Leslie. She was absolutely perfect for us, and our guests cannot stop talking about how great she was. Recommended 1000% .

DJ Sean was a boss! Sean was our DJ for our wedding a few weeks ago. He provided the music, all speaker/mic equipment, and directed the guests throughout evening in a fun and friendly manner. Also he provided the party lighting for the dance floor and around the venue, which was beautiful and really lended to creating the party atmosphere. Not only did he keep the party going throughout evening, but he played all our requests and even the guests requests. People tend to be pretty critical of DJs at parties/weddings and we received nothing but compliments. Furthermore, he had a very comprehensive website where we could create a timeline of the evening, when we wanted which songs played, and create a playlist for the reception. As a bride who constantly was in touch with vendors over email it was so nice to just list all my needs on his website and know he had it from there rather than 40+ emails back and forth. In addition, he is also just a genuinely awesome guy! The fact that him and his wife Leslie are both DJs is pretty dang cool.

We had the pleasure of working with DJ Leslie, and let me tell you, she's incredible!! Leslie was our wedding DJ and emcee and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect fit! She met with us for two consultations before our big day and took time to get to know us as a couple to make sure our night was perfect. We never expected so many of our guests to be out on the dance floor. Leslie was perfect at gauging the crowd and kept our guests partying all night. She kept us on schedule and did everything we asked. Thank you DJ Leslie!! If you're looking at Seattle parties for a wedding DJ we would highly recommend them!

Sean was our wedding DJ and he was fantastic! Recommended through our Wedding Planner he was laid back and all around great fit for us. We gave him free reign to read our dance crowd and adjust the music to ensure an amazing party and he delivered! We had multiple people comment on how they had never seen so many people out on the dance floor at a wedding and this was a testament to the great song selections and flow of songs that Sean chose. Sean also coordinated with our pianist to ensure she had proper amps and cords and worked with seamlessly with our planner to ensure we didn't have to worry about a thing. We highly recommend Sean and know that he contributed to our day being beyond perfect!

Our DJ knew how to keep people on the dance floor! He was great at helping us pick out the flow of the ceremony and pre-made playlists for us to look over and help us get an idea of how the reception would be. He was very good about not playing the songs on our DO NOT PLAY list (no matter who asked) and was a great MC. We were also able to get uplighting and dance floor lighting which really turned our reception into a party (which is what we wanted)! I would highly recommend Ben to DJ any wedding!!

Seattle Parties was OUTSTANDING! They were nothing but responsive from the get go, and were willing to work with our budget. DJ Troy was our DJ, and he was amazing!! Our wedding ceremony was flawless, he was very personable with our guests, and was able to adjust to going over our timeline during our reception. He was simply professional as our DJ and MC. We all had a great time and everyone danced until the end!

Ben Meadows from Seattle Parties was our DJ and it was a BLAST! My husband and I each had a chance to talk with Ben as we were planning everything. It took him no time to get a feel for the type of music and event that we wanted to provide for our guests. He was perfect for the occasion. He played fantastic music based on the songs we told him we wanted and he also helped keep things running throughout the evening, making announcements as necessary and picking songs for us if we just couldn't come up with our own. Seattle Parties was easy to work with and we were able to pay with a credit card which was a plus (yea for airline miles)! Thank you Ben and Seattle Parties!

I knew that I was going to use Sean at Seattle Parties way before I got engaged. He was the DJ at a friend's wedding, and as a guest at wedding (or even at a club), the most important thing to me is if the DJ plays what I request. And at my friend's wedding, he played everything I requested. He was great to work with, we met twice with him, and he did a great job of helping us figure out what we wanted. He brought some lights to the reception that fit with our decor and helped light up our slightly dim room.

I used Sean, the owner, as my dj. We met before hand and we really stressed the importance of the party atmosphere and keeping the dance floor packed. He assured us he could do that. Prior to the wedding, we gave him a list of must play and do not play songs as well as the songs we wanted for the ceremony. During the reception, he was a great MC. He didn't try to overshadow us and kept things moving. I was a little disappointed as I asked him to play name that tune to get rid of the centerpieces, but he played that for releasing the tables to the banquet. I was stuck trying to get rid of the centerpieces at the end of the night. During the bridal toss, he played a remake of the song I requested, so make sure you provide the songs yourself or be very specific. That was my fault. Once the dancing started, that kind of killed it for me. There were a lot of gaps between one song ending and the next beginning and, while slow songs at the beginning were nice, once everyone was drinking, they were too frequent. The wedding planner even suggested a few songs he should play, which got everyone out on the dance floor, but after those songs ended, everyone left. Overall, he played great music prior to the wedding and during dinner, but I really wish the dance music had been more happening. He did provide some cool lights that did set the mood, though! He also gave us a CD of all of the special songs we'd requested, which was a nice momento.

Seattle Parties is an incredibly personable team of husband and wife. They come highly recommended. I hired Leslie for day of coordination and Sean to DJ. Combined I paid $3000.00 and it was way over priced. I knew when I booked DJ Sean from Seattle Parties that what I was getting was a solid DJ who would not spend a lot of time exerting his personality into my reception. I got that so 3 stars. The cost was exorbitant considering. Issues impacting my review are the DJ's lack of motivating our guests to participate with our Video guest book. Overall I had a fantastic wedding people are still talking about the great time they had. But I would try to negotiate a lower fee next time.

Sean did a great job for us! We had some complicated mic-ing needs during the ceremony that went off without a hitch. He kept the party going and everyone (including my bollywood and salsa dancing crowds) dancing until we had to throw the last of them out. He guarded my do not play list like a champ--preventing scandalized relatives from a Baby Got Back remix. The only eh moment (and the only reason for a 4 overall) was when one of the songs I was most excited about had a technical error (aka wrong version downloaded that went int a remix of something else) about a third of the way in and that was that. Sean worked with us on the price (which i am not allowed to divulge) since we were an off-season wedding.

Mark at Seattle Parties was a great DJ! People danced at our wedding late into the night and had an amazing time. He was great to work with in planning for the music and provided great suggestions. I would definitely recommend him!

Sean was an amazing DJ. He listened to both my husband and I (who have very different musical tastes) and blended our styles perfectly! He got everyone on the dance floor right away and kept them there all night. So easy to work with, he made sure to go over every detail with me and had me specify exactly how much I wanted him to do. I wanted my DJ to do the intros and then just play the music as I've been to weddings where the DJ seems to talk more than the bride and groom do! Sean listened to me and did exactly what I wanted. So affordable too!

Great music selections and no ridiculous wedding games. We got the classy adult evening we wanted that still kept everyone on the dance floor and having a great time!
