I ended up printing photos of different guests to go inside the thank you cards after the wedding and has so many requests to get digital copies because they wanted to use the photos for holiday cards and to be printed large to frame. ent shoot, welcome party and now wedding and each time we have been completely overjoyed to just be in his company. He has a way of making people feel comfortable in front of the camera. From my 3 year old nephew to our fathers to even my husband's stoic grandma, Sebastien had a way of capturing everyone beautifully. Seeing him work is truly art. He is seemingly everywhere at all times and all of the guests have commented how amazing it was to watch him sprint from one place to another to get the perfect shot. I'm confused how during a 12+ hour work day I never watched him sit down. He is just unbelievable. Some notable things: During our engagement shot, my then fiance and I were beyond nervous and Sebastien had a way of melting all of our worries. We felt like we were just on a date together instead of feeling rigid in front of a camera. It was one of the most fun moments in our wedding planning process and we still look at our pictures constantly. During our welcome party, Sebastien saw people taking phone pictures and made an effort to help everyone out on their iPhone shots. Our guests loved his help and he managed to get iPhone shots of our guests while managing his two cameras. He is truly a pro. During our wedding, we were doing a traditional Albanian circle dance and Sebastien was in the middle of the circle on his knees taking pictures of the action. Most photographers would take pictures from the outside of the circle but Sebastien was in the crowd not afraid of anything. My mom was also very touched when she gave Sebastien a scarf and instead of rejecting it he tied it around his neck for the remainder of the wedding. I mean I haven't even gone into the quality of work because that truly speaks for itself. Do yourself a favor and just book Seb. It will be the best decision you make.

n had to reschedule our wedding and Sebastien was more than accommodating. If you do yourself the favor of scheduling an introductory meeting with him, you'll notice immediately just how warm and thoughtful he is, and how seriously he takes the opportunity to photograph your major life milestones. While his support in the lead-up to the wedding was fantastic, it was nothing compared to his performance on the big day! He brought a professional, but exuberant, tone to each photo session. Literally jogging between hotel rooms to capture us getting ready, sitting backwards on a pedicab to snap pics of us in transit to the venue. and tightly coordinating the dozens of different lineups we had for the family photo portion made him a big hit with the entire wedding party. People still talk about how incredible he was to watch work. At the end of the day, though, what matters are the pictures and I have to say they exceeded all expectations. He caught the sweet, intimate moments and the big, fun moments with equal skill. He also distributes the photos via a beautiful website that makes it easy to view and share with friends. I don't write a ton of reviews, but it was important to us to let folks know that you are in very capable, very caring hands if you book with Sebastien. He was a genuine highlight of our wedding day and we pull up his pictures weekly just to re-live the best time of our life. I hope anybody reading this has an equally special experience.

r wedding. Not only is his work exceptional, but his warm, enthusiastic & personable energy that he brings to every conversation and on your big day like any other photographer I've ever worked with. I could write so much about what I loved about working with Sebastien. But a few of my most favorite things are: -He invests in his clients. Our initial consultation was well over 1 hr+, and it never felt like a consultation, but more like a conversation. It was truly Sebastien wanting to get to know us as a couple and understand what was and wasn't important to us. -He balances his personable communication with both responsiveness and professionalism. All of the logistics were very streamlined with Sebastien--from the contract to creating the timeline, shot list and retrieving our images, it all was very easy. -He's very efficient. By far the quickest family photo set I've ever experienced. He managed to get through all family/bridal party portraits in under 30 minutes (and they were great photos!) -His infectious energy. My wedding guests still are talking about how upbeat and enthusiastic Seb was on the day of our wedding. He played a crucial role in making our day incredibly warm, intimate and fun. -He helped me stay in the moment. One of my favorite memories was a moment we had in an old barn right after the ceremony. Seb put on one of our favorite songs and let us just exist in the moment together. Not only were those photos from the barn my very favorite of the entire day, but one of the most memorable moments that I'll never forget. His work speaks for itself, so I'll post a few here. But you will not regret hiring Sebastien to capture your day!

day. We interviewed a couple other photographers after meeting Seb, purely out of doing our due diligence, but knew he was the one right off the bat. Seb’s work is unique and stunning, but his stellar personality won us over. The three of us connected so quickly on a personal level, which is so important when considering what an integral part he would be at our wedding. One moment I render so vividly with Seb was when I arrived to the venue on the wedding day. He told me there was an issue with our chosen ceremony location because of the natural lighting and time of day. He proposed moving the ceremony to a different location and painted the figurative picture of how the ceremony would go. His confidence and excitement with the change put me completely at ease, and his vision made our ceremony better than we could have imagined! You will not get just a “vendor” with Seb. You get his heart and soul and a friendship, if you’re lucky :)

demic, so after postponing it we decided to also book him -- having never actually met in-person, only on Zoom -- for a 3-day photoshoot in Montana where we planned to elope. It was risky, committing that much money and time to someone we'd never met. But it turned out to be one of the BEST decisions I made, of the countless decisions in the last 2 years of wedding planning. Seb talked about how he tried to be friends with his couples, but my now-husband and I are both super awkward in front of a camera and introverts to boot, so I had doubts about whether we could *actually* be friends with a random person. After those 3 days though, I was sad to see Seb leave to fly back to Sacramento, and by the time our actual wedding rolled around I was anticipating getting to hang out with him again! I am already mentally planning to hire him again for a 5-year anniversary photoshoot -- putting my (future) money where my mouth is. As to his work: both sets of our photos far exceeded our expectations, both true to his artistic style (I had picked Seb based primarily on the strength of his portfolio) and to us as people. I was looking for a fine art photography style, though I preferred moodier play of light than the bright-and-soft aesthetic of film photographers, but I also wanted to capture candid emotion -- and our photos did both to a T. Btw, we took Seb on a strenuous 9-mile hike in Glacier National Park during our engagement shoot, and *while* carrying the heaviest pack full of multiple cameras and lenses, he still hiked faster than us while looking less out of breath. He is not going to be tired out by a long wedding day of shooting, and he is serious about the "adventure" part of his adventure sessions if you are.

We would not have ordinarily been made aware of Seb as he specializes in elopements, but on the very glowing recommendation of a trusted friend, discovered his masterful work. From the moment we began our involvement, Seb was responsive, helpful, respectful, courteous, and insightful. His customary initial meetup entailed learning about our relationship and sharing his story and style, and we so appreciated his transparency and openness. The meeting felt warm, engaging, and friendly—like a call with an old friend. He was in continuous communication with us throughout the process to ensure that he understood our priorities. We had a very ambitious goal of shooting at many of our favorite spots in San Francisco, and many others thought this would not be possible, but Seb crafted a seamless plan to shoot over two days, with all the considerations for timing and light conditions accounted for. He managed these myriad variables effortlessly. His plan was so well articulated and detailed that he had our shooting locations mapped out to the minute and even second (seriously!). He somehow kept things moving quickly though our experience was that of a very romantic and meandering journey. Seb took the time to get to know us and our relationship ahead of the shoot, so during our time together, he used our favorite music and the knowledge of our love story to create the most moving and special moments together. The photos we have aren’t just portraits of how we looked on those days—they’re gifts from him of artistic works that are sealed in time and that capture a very meaningful moment for the two of us—so very many moments, each of which has a unique story and memory for us now. What was very surprising despite his careful detail orientation and time appreciation, was how little his concern with charging for his time or even managing his own basic needs. He arrived early and left late, always eager to find more to shoot, ambitiously navigating his several cameras, contorting himself to find the right shooting angles, and running from place to place—seemingly without need for food or rest. He very clearly has tremendous passion for his craft and worked tirelessly for us. When we received our photo gallery, beyond the most exquisite photos we had ever seen, what struck us most is that ours looked nothing like any of the galleries we had ever seen from his portfolio before, but perfectly captured how we see each other—yet somehow better. He doesn’t just see Instagram worthy opportunities, he sees people as they are, but somehow reimagined in their most exquisite form. What a gift that is to share. We had many events scheduled to mark this occasion, but working with Seb on those days will forever be the highlight of this time for us. His generosity of spirit and passion for love, life, beauty, and authenticity seem too good to be true but are somehow real, raw, and in the flesh. He will bring these things out of you, render them in artistic works, and carve them in time.

The day of we were so nervous because I wanted these photos to be amazing and I'm a perfectionist, I was just hoping the experience wouldn't be awkward and he'd be able to capture who we really are. Let me just say he did nothing short of delivering! He made us so comfortable during the shoot, of course it was a little awkward in the beginning but after the initial few shots he just had a way of allowing us to be vulnerable with him and be ourselves, at some points it was like he wasn't even there. He also made sure the day was such a great experience for us, he truly wanted us to have fun. The best part, the photos turned out better than I ever could have imagined! I had very high expectations and he exceeded all of them! We will cherish these photos and that day forever. I cannot say enough great things about him and his work.

One of the things we liked the most about working with him is that it didn't feel transactional to us and he really takes the time to get to know you as a couple. astien was amazing! He immediately made us comfortable upon meeting him in person and rather than a photo shoot it felt like we were going on an adventure with a long-time friend. The day (we took a hike in Marin County) was so much fun and was truly a bonding experience for us. The photos that came after were beautiful. We don’t consider ourselves photogenic, so how Sebastien managed to get shot after shot of us looking good is really something to behold. 
We met ahead of the session just to spend a little more time warming up to each other, and I love that Seb tries to make a point to do this - it’s clear that his priority is the couples’ comfort, and really wants to capture memories, not just simply capture “photos.” Most importantly, beyond capturing amazing pictures, Seb was able to capture so much of our emotion and love in his photos, and that’s all due to his work in making us extremely comfortable and giving us enough direction, but not too much, so that it allowed us to be natural with each other. I love that we will forever have the wonderful memories from that day captured in these stunning photos, and every time we look through them we're reminded of all the fun and love from those few hours together. If you work with Sebastien, you’re really getting two things for the price of one. An experience you’ll remember for the rest of your life and professional, quality photos that will blow you away. We really couldn’t recommend Sebastien enough!

ife (as it was for me and my now husband). Furthermore... Memories = top priority (no brainer?) How does one capture memories? Photos!!! This was our thinking. I spent a lot of time—bold & italicized emphasis on lot—searching for the best photographer for us. It was the top item on our checklist, as we knew that you have to book a good photographer in advance!! Fast forward, a few much necessary introductory calls/meetings and email exchanges with potential photographers later, and we are convinced that Sebastien is our guy (he didn't do anything out of his ordinary, btw). Sebastien easily secured his spot in our planning process. Pricing may be on the steeper side considering all options, but this is in no way a disqualifier based on the quality, character, and downright professionalism that this guy brings to the table. I will just say to future newlyweds this --> Sebastien can not be matched in his immaculate attention to detail, fun and unique creativity, distinct experience and expertise, AND his careful consideration to your needs. We felt so comfortable and taken care of throughout the entire process of working with him. Last but certainly not least - his work is incredible - that of a genius!!!! He is a true artist. And now a friend. If your budget can allow, I would prioritize your photography, and therefore Sebastien, at the top of your list. You will not regret this decision.

His energy was absolutely amazing (so much that we wanted to bottle it up and take it home with us)! He was just as excited as we were on our day and it shows in his work. You spend a lot of personal time with your wedding photographer and I wished we had more time to hang out with him (with or without the camera!). ation. He kept me calm and laughing when I normally hate taking pictures. He got both sides of our entire family to take a group photos in less than 2 minutes. This was around 50 people ages 2 - 85. Absolutely incredible. He has a way to get the most natural photos in the moment and makes you have fun in the meantime. We had a 10 minute couple session with him, and he asked before the shoot if we wanted to do 5, 10, or 15 minutes. He was more on top of the schedule than our wedding planners! Every person who interacted with him at the wedding has commented on how amazing he was. Of course all my bridesmaids were in love with him so that made photos so fun. The beauty of his work speaks for itself. Truly an artist. Makes you feel like you're hanging out with a friend. He went above and beyond in every way possible. The pictures turned out stunning, and it was unbelievable how quickly he had them back to us. He captured so many fun moments we wouldn't have even known about if it wasn't for him. Also a fun surprise was that he also made a bunch of GIFs along with the photos! I recommend him to every couple I hear is getting married.

heart are hand in hand. He is one of the most talented photographers I've ever met. My fiance and I did an engagement photoshoot with him, and he made us feel so comfortable and natural. We hopped on a video call and by the end we were so comfortable with him and could tell he loves what he does. Without question, we were ready to hire him. Months later, we had our engagement session with Sebastien. He went above and beyond and shot us at our apartment, on Telegraph Hill in San Francisco as the sun was starting to set, and on our roof at twilight. He played our favorite songs and had games for us to play to help us get into the moment and feel natural in front of the camera. We had so much fun with him! The engagement session was a great way for the three of us to get to know each other and we were even more confident that he would deliver on our wedding day. When we received the photos, we were blown away. Leading up to the wedding day, Sebastien was so communicative. He set expectations for the day and dug into what was most important to us by sending a questionnaire. We got married at Cuffey’s Cove, a venue Seb had been wanting to shoot, but had never been to before. He did research in advance and when our wedding weekend arrived, Sebastien immediately got to work to find the best spots to shoot. Sebastien is full of positivity and energy and has the unique ability to oscillate between directing photos and blending into the background to get the best result. Like our engagement shoot, he had games for us to play during our couple portraits that calmed our nerves and be present in the moment. Sebastien had our family and friends smiling and laughing with his humor during formal portraits, and was a big part of making our reception the incredibly fun dance party it was, all while getting every shot. He also took more couple portraits of us the following day, because there was no chance for our cliffside sunset photos due to timing and lack of sun the night of our wedding. We’re so thankful for that last set of images! When we received the photos, we were beyond happy with every one of them (and there are many!). Seb delivered them much more quickly than we expected, as well. My husband called him a ninja, because when reviewing the galleries, we noticed that Seb seemed to be everywhere at once, getting multiple angles of the same moment stealthily. Not once was he in the way or detracting from a moment. He truly is impressive and when you hire him, you don’t need a second shooter. Seb took photos of the surrounding area before our wedding that set the scene, beautiful details shots, priceless candid photos, and the most amazing portraits of my husband and me that we’ll ever have. . We had an epic experience during our engagement shoot- it felt like my wife and I were on this adventure out in nature and we had Sebastien there to document it! Our engagement photos were breathtaking and every single wedding photo brought all the feels! We admire his passion for photography and his natural and organic style. He does an excellent job at capturing the mood. My wife and I are awkward in front of the camera but he did an impressive job helping us be ourselves and captured those spontaneous moments so beautifully. He was very professional, organized and helpful throughout the wedding planning process. He really took the time to get to know us and also spent time to address any questions or concerns we had. Our intro video call, which was supposed to last about 30 minutes, ended up going almost for almost 2 hours, as we shared countless stories and laughs. We knew right away Seb was the right man to photograph our wedding. From the start, he was very organized and detailed, and really took the time to get to know us as a couple. On the day of the wedding, Sebastien showed up right on time and ready to rock! If you’ve never met Seb, you’re in for a treat. epic pictures from both. For our engagement session, we elected to go big and do an adventure road trip photoshoot. We met Sebastien for the first time at the Las Vegas airport, and immediately he put us at ease. We then spent the next three days in the car with him, driving through three different states, exploring different parks, all while having a blast with the different photo shoots. Sebastien is super easy to get along with and is extremely hardworking. When we saw him again for our wedding, it felt like we had another friend there supporting us for the day. We had so many compliments from our family and friends about the respectful way he interacted with them and how they enjoyed watching him work- all the different angles he'd get (while still being discreet).
