Second Shots Photography

We were very excited to use Edward for our engagement photos after looking through his portfolio but our results were nothing like his portfolio. The shoot seemed very rushed, we were fighting to get shots done before the sun went down (he suggested the sunset timing) and I had to go back and request certain shots that we missed. We really wanted photos on the trails in Huntsville but what we received looks like they were taken at midnight, we cant use those. On top of that the daylight photos are full of awkward poses and the same unattractive pictures edited many different ways. We walked away with mayne 4 photos that are worth sharing. Nothing else is usable. We only received those photos after asking him to send us all of the pictures from that day. The first batch of edited pictures that we received were terrible. It looked like someone was rushed and just randomly chose 50 pictures to send. Edward was very nice to work with, but the pictures we received were not professionally done. We are going to redo our shoot with another photographer.

Ed was absolutely fantastic to work with! Not only is he extremely talented and professional, he is charming sweet and kind. He is also very flexible. We had major timeline changes a bit last minute (rain) and he rolled with it like a champion. We had a few hiccups while getting ready but he didn’t miss a single beat. He made use of every single second while still remaining patient and considerate. His direction was easy to follow and after each session (before transitioning to the next pose/location) he would radiate with enthusiasm (LOVED that). There is no doubt that he takes pride in his work and he is very good at it. He takes traditional shots but also takes artistic liberties when he deems it appropriate. You could tell he loves what he does. If you’re looking for a photographer that can produce beautiful, dynamic, profound and powerful photos, Ed is your man. I am so grateful to have been able to work with him on my special day.
