We loved learning to dance throughout this process and are continuing dance lessons through the studio. For two individuals that I honestly can say have two left feet, and wanted to venture out and learn something new for our wedding, our instructor made it an absolute exciting and comfortable experience. We were absolutely blessed to have Shekoda as our instructor, she made us feel so at ease with the process of learning the Waltz, even with the first rocky couple of lessons. Shekoda had such a positive and encouraging attitude to the point it was actually not only easy to learn our dance, but it was fun in the process. I honestly can say for someone that dragged his feet on scheduling lessons, my now wife and I had an amazing time in the process and enjoyed every lesson. We looked forward to every lesson we had, and are actually sad it came to an end. The laughs and relationships we gained throughout this process we will always remember. Shekoda made us feel so comfortable and really talked us through everything. The environment was relaxed enough where we were able to joke around and just have fun while learning our dance. We had so much fun we have been talking about taking additional classes after our wedding in June.

yler, my teacher, wanted to make sure we did more than just sway for our First Dance. So he choreographed a beautiful routine for us and then taught it to my husband and I. My husband had never danced before but learned easily from Tyler who made sure that he taught in a way my non-dancing husband could understand and be comfortable with. Our First Dance was a beautiful highlight of our wedding! Plus, half our wedding attendees came from Second Street Dance Studio because, as a whole, the Studio is warm, encouraging, and supportive. What started as a dance lesson for me has grown into a hobby my husband and I can share with people who have become our second family.
