I did not anticipate leaving my first bridal salon stop with my dress and I absolutely did not anticipate walking out with a dress so unique and discovered with so much ease when I never could have imagined selecting such a dress. The staff was wonderful and so much fun to work with and found my perfect dress in record time!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I loved the girl who helped me she made me feel so special and really got the look I was going for. I went in expecting not expecting to find much and came out with a dress! Super discounted prices too I could not have afforded the dress I came home with at a typical shop and I got mine $1 under my budget! Meant to be. My only warning is if you have other bridal appointments- be prepared to cancel them because you will find something you love here!

Second Summer made my bridal dreams come true. My consultant Caitlin was so sweet and narrowed in on my tastes absolutely perfectly. I went from overwhelmed to saying yes to the dress in just one wonderful appointment.

I purchased a veil at Second Summer the week before my wedding in November 2019. The sales associates were attentive and kind as I had forgotten about getting a veil and was a little frazzled. They have a decent variety of quality veils ready to pick up same day. I ended up purchasing the same veil that I tried on at Blush Bridal (where I got my wedding dress). ~$200 for cathedral-length raw-edge veil.

Just make sure they don't cancel your appointment because you have a similar last name of another client who does cancel. I showed up with my group, some who came from out of town, and didn't have an appointment so was given their office. I did find a dress, but now I'll never have that experience of trying on dresses and made to feel special.

I bought two dresses from Second Summer Bridal in February for my September wedding. One was a secondhand dress that they had in the store, so I got to take it home with me that day. The dress was a gorgeous ballgown with a beaded bodice. It like many of their secondhand dresses was actually a sample gown at another boutique before coming to Second Summer. My second dress was a made to order from their sister boutique, Blush Bridal Lounge. The dress was ordered and came in by the end of June, which gave me plenty of time to get alterations done. The appointment was fantastic! I was able to try on about 10 dresses in the hour and a half to two-hour timeframe and I had plenty of time to discuss the options with my bridal party. The staff made the appointment so much fun and I was so glad that there was a place in Austin where I could have the bridal appointment experience while buying a secondhand dress.

If you’re going anywhere else, try Second Summer FIRST! I tried on several dresses and was so surprised on how many options they had in my price range. I’m a size 0-2, so I was really scared the sizes would be too large to even try on. Let me tell you, Natalie is the QUEEN of clips! She did a phenomenal job of clipping the dresses to see how they would fit after being tailored. The ladies were all welcoming and had amazing attitudes. I’m a wedding photographer, and you better believe I will be sending my clients to Second Summer.

I had only a small idea of what my dream wedding dress would look like. I went to Second Summer Bride first when I began the wedding dress shopping process. And the process was short because the staff at Second Summer Bride made me and my mom feel so comfortable, they never rushed me and helped pick out dresses I missed when I chose the dresses I wanted to try one. In the end my assistant pulled a dress that had just arrived, it was perfect. She put a veil on my head and my mom cried and I was done dress shopping. My dress was so beautiful, it looked like it was $3000+ and I got it + alterations for less than $2000. Second Summer is affordable, knowledgeable, and has a great selection. The wedding dress search was intimidating and Second Summer made it so EASY. They are phenomenal!

I’ll start with that I hated wedding dress shopping! It was so hard for me being on that borderline of plus size and tall. There just isn’t a good selection out there at normal shops and you don’t get that same experience. That being said, this definitely was not the case at Second Summer Bridal!!! Gah I felt so good and got to actually try on so many dresses! Reesa was my consultant and is literally the best!!! She actually pick my dress. At the time it couldn’t be re ordered and I was devastated because it was too short for me, but I went back a month later and the designer had decided to allow additional orders! They were able to order my dream dress with extra length and I couldn’t be happier! These ladies go above an beyond and care so much! It definitely makes for that true bridal moment!

Second summer bride made all my wedding dress dreams come true, I'm so happy I decided to try dresses on here! I went during their 'Christmas in July' sale where they had dresses for as low as $100 off the rack. I didnt end up buying one of their sale dresses but came across a Hayley Paige gown that I had been fawning over but knew was way over my budget. Turns out, this particular gown was way UNDER my budget! I bought the dress I never thought I could because of these folks. I even got a super beautiful and unique belt to go with my new gown and still came in under budget! Second Summer Bride is a MUST for any bride that is on a budget or anyone who wants to get a killer deal on their wedding gown. Thank you Second Summer Bride for making my dreams a reality!

The ladies at this shop were awesome! I was very nervous going in to the appointment due to budget and how small I am but they knew exactly what they were doing! I found my dream dress at my exact budget! I could not have been more comfortable or happy.

I would definitely recommend Second Summer Bride! They have a good selection of consignment dresses as well as a small boutique in the store. I went to Second Summer after purchasing a dress from Alfred Angelo and never receiving it after they closed. They were so kind and patient with me (it isn’t fun to shop for a dress after you’ve found THE dress). I ended up finding an even more perfect dress and they were so helpful throughout the whole process.

You definitely want to check out Second Summer Bride if you are looking for a designer dress at a discounted price. They have every style for every bride. I had a great experience here and found my dream dress. Would definitely recommend!

I found my wedding dress here off the rack in December 2017! Natalie was wonderful! Customer service was amazing. They explained the layout of the store really well and then encouraged us to look around and make selections to try on. They didn’t follow us around the store and pressure us. They were very patient and listened to feedback from myself and my family as to what we were looking for in a dress. My mom loved the experience so much she recommended the store to her neighbors daughter who also found her wedding dress there!

I cannot say enough great things about Second Summer Bride and Natalie. The atmosphere and experience were incredibly laidback and welcoming. Natalie listened and I never felt rushed or pressured like I did in other bridal salons I visited. They have an excellent variety of dresses (both consignment and options that can be custom ordered)and accessories.

I had an amazing experience at Second Summer Bride back in February. It was my second bridal shop, and turned out to be my final. I had a firm budget of $1,000, but there were so many dresses to choose from. I didn't feel limited at all. The best part was my stylist, Natalie. She was warm and honest, and made me feel so comfortable during the appointment. She has incredible style and really knows dresses. I tried on MANY dresses over a two hour period and never felt rushed or pressured. Natalie was so patient as my mom and two bridesmaids would proclaim...ahhh now THIS is my favorite one!! ... every time. In the end my favorite was a gorgeous dress from the clearance rack with a price tag of $500. The seamstress that I took it to said it had no visible signs of ever being worn! So either it was never actually worn by another bride, or it was cleaned extremely well :) I would recommend SSB to any bride who wants a great selection and a great deal! Don't forget to ask for Natalie! She is amazing and I'm very thankful for my experience with her.

This store was beautiful! I stopped in without an appointment (sorry!) and they were more than accommodating and super friendly! They have so many beautiful dresses at very reasonable prices.

This was the last place I shopped for dress. I decided to try on different styles just for fun and to my surprise I found my perfect wedding dress. L The staff were extremely nice and more than accommodating. And the best part was I got to take my dress home that day!

Second Summer Bride store was my first real choice when I started to shop for dresses. I knew exactly what I wanted: a unique and beautiful dress that would fit well my body. I found what I was looking for. The customer service overall in the store is amazing. The girls truly listen to you, kindly suggest something nice and reasonable to your budget. My dress needed some adjustment. SSB provided a list of reliable seamstresses. I chose Olga Babichev and she did a wonderful job on my Tara Keely dress. I also found beautiful earrings and accessories. Overall I had a wonderful experience.

I had a wonderful experience at Second Summer! They have so many wonderful dresses to try on and the staff are super friendly! This was my first dress shop and I had no idea what style I had in mind. The lady that helped me was so nice and encouraged me to keep trying on different styles. Once we found the right style she started pulling different options. All the prices were unbelievable! All the dresses I tried on were well below my budget. As this was my first stop I didn't want to make any final decision before checking out another shop. I decided on a dress from another shop but would 100% recommend stopping at Second Summer while dress shopping, especially if you have a small budget and don't want to shop at David's Bridal.

I love this bridal shop. I honestly can't wait to have a friend get married, so I can refer her there. It's cute, the staff is super friendly, they have a lot of beautiful dresses and accessories, and the prices are incredible. Not to mention if I want to help make someone else's day I can bring my dress back. We did wind up going to one chain store after, but it was a mad house. It just confirmed that I made the right choice.

I just went to Second Summer yesterday and the dress I went with was the second one I tried on. The consultant that was helping my group was so sweet and made the experience fun, comfortable and no stress at all. I would recommend Second Summer to any soon to be bride considering they have a wide variety of both styles and price tags. I ended up getting my dress, unique custom veil, and sash all for well under the original price of the dress. Amazing experience! Sales associate was great. I tried on about 8 dresses in my appointment and went home with the first one I tried on. It's gorgeous and looks brand new! No snags or stains. Plus GREAT price!

I purchased my dress from Second Summer bride and could not be happier!! I loved the fit of the dress, and it made my wedding beautiful! The ladies in the shop were really friendly and helpful! My sister, mom, and I all enjoyed dress shopping there as the sales ladies were so nice, and were ready to help with anything needed! I would definitely recommend checking this place out! Second Summer Bride has an amazing selection of dresses ranging from one of a kind to popular brand names today. The consultant was incredibly helpful in helping me try dresses out of my comfort zone, and didn't snub me when I mentioned my budget. When I decided on my dress, I called the store and placed my deposit via telephone, then was able to pick up the dress and pay the remaining balance at my convenience. I ended up with a dress that was originally made in Europe, completely unique, and for less than many of the brand new dresses at places like David's Bridal, Alfred Angelo, etc (can't even compare the value/savings to more upscale bridal 'salons' in the Austin area)! Highly recommend checking this place out if you can!

Don't let consignment deter you - this was one of the nicest and cutest bridal salons that I visited. Nothing felt cheap or second hand in this store. Most of the dresses are off the rack. You must have an appointment at Second Summer Bride so trying on dresses is a fun, and not hectic experience. I would absolutely recommend that any check out Second Summer Bride on their hunt for the perfect dress!

I had honestly been dreading going to find a wedding dress since all of my girl friends are long distance. I sucked it up and decided I would go and going alone would be fine. I always had this idea that if I went the consultants would pitch you a dress that was out of my budget. Although this did take place I must say I understand that it is their jobs as consultants. I had a great time trying on dresses and the staff made me feel very welcome and comfortable. I even had a Maggie Sottero picked out but after going to a few more shops I couldn't bring myself to pay that much for a used dress.

I loved the sustainable idea of a bridal consignment shop! The ladies who work there are super nice and I loved the dress I ended up choosing! We had it altered in house and Kyra did an amazing job taking my beautiful dress in from a size 10 to a size 2! I highly recommend them!

I have had terrible experiences in the past at the turn key bridal places ie; davids bridal, so I wanted a much different experience. Second summer provided that! The girls who worked there were super sweet and quickly got an idea for what I was looking for, what style of dress my body type needed and quickly adapted their suggestions. We found the perfect dress on my first visit based off of a recommended dress from the sales rep. It was a gorgeous never before worn Justin Alexander! Such a great experience.

My engagement was 3.5 months long so I had less options than the “average” bride. I needed to get a consignment dress or something off the rack. I decided to try out the big name stores and then came to second summer bride and had such a wonderful experience here. At the big name stores you don’t get a lot of attention or space and you are allowed to try on only a few dresses. At second summer bride I didn’t feel like there was a time limit and I was able to look around by myself. I found a gorgeous dress that brand new would have been probably twice the price I got it for. It had a few tears in the skirt so it needed some repairs, but it was the perfect dress. As soon as I opened the curtains, my family and friends that were with me all gasped. (This was our 3rd dress store and none of the other responses had been that dramatic.) I would highly recommend Second Summer Bride to all brides on a budget, quick timeline, or looking for something UNIQUE.

These ladies were so fantastic and made me feel so beautiful! It is such a great environment and I didn't feel at all like I was in a consignment store. They made me feel so special and did a great job of helping me find my dream dress. The one I found was a little out of my price range, but they helped work it down to a price that was in my budget. I would recommend anyone looking for a dress to come here!! It was still a little more expensive then I would have thought, but the prices helped me get a dress that I wouldn't have been able to afford before, at a very reasonable price.

I went to Second Summer Bride after visiting their sister store, Blush. I did not find what I was looking for until I visited this store! The consultant was very helpful and went out of her way to make it special. I recommend looking here first!

I am having a hard time putting into words how truly WONDERFUL my experience at Second Summer Bride was!! First of all, I chose Second Summer Bride because 1) I only wanted to go to shops that were affordable for a bride on a budget and 2) because their reviews were AWESOME! I am all about reading up on companies before I give them my business and I didn't read one bad review about SS. I also just have to say that when I pictured a consignment store in my head, I never imagined a place as beautiful and elegantly decorated as Second Summer. When I first walked in the door, I just knew I would find my dress here. Natalie, who is a gorgeous young woman AND a complete ANGEL, helped me find "The Dress." She was an absolute pleasure from the second I walked in the door to when I came back for my dress. You can tell by just looking at the way she carries herself and from the way she dresses that she has impeccable style. THIS is the type of individual you want to help style you for the most important day of your life!! And she is just as sweet as she is beautiful. I cannot say enough about how great it was having her help that day. THANK YOU Natalie! I feel like I am going a little overboard here, but after going to my second appointment (after SS) at a different bridal shop across the street where I was treated badly and had an awful experience, I really have to stress how important it is to choose a place that not only has amazing wedding dresses to choose from but also has awesome customer service as well. This is the ONE time you get to do this!! I brought my mom, future MIL and my 4 Maids of Honor (I know, I'm crazy) to my appointment. We had our own room with PLENTY of space, so that was really nice. What I really loved, being a bride with curves, was that Natalie directed me to the dresses that were in my price range AND my size! My body is hour glass shape, so going into the appointment I was worried that I would be limited to what I would be able to try on. However, that was never the case! I felt really good about myself the entire time. I also really loved that Natalie understood my personal style. Being the last out of all of my friends to get married, I really want my wedding to be unique in every way and obviously the dress is a HUGE part in all of that. She totally got that and although I tried on several dresses that my friends, moms and I chose, I ended up falling in love with one that Natalie chose! We went to another appointment (the awful one I mentioned before) but NOTHING compared to the feeling I had when I put on the dress at Second Summer. **Also, and this is important to brides on a budget, Natalie did everything she could to help me out to make the dress more affordable. You could tell that she genuinely wanted me to have the dress of my dreams and would do anything in her power to make that happen. I didn't think that I would actually have "that feeling" that every bride describes where you tear up and you just don't EVER want to take your dress off. I totally did!! I am so happy I gave SS my business and I 110% recommend to EVERY bride to go to Second Summer to find their dress! I randomly decided to go in by myself and ended up walking out with the dress of my dreams! Audrey helped me try on several options and now I know what they mean when they say you'll know "the dress" when you try it on! Usually I'm a bargain shopper (that's why I went to a consignment bridal shop) and I was so excited that I didn't realize I should have researched the price of the actual dress I purchased before hand because I probably could have negotiated the price a little better. I'm still not sorry I said yes to the dress here though!

I went in having no idea what I wanted or what would look good on me. My consultant was very friendly and helpful. She let me and my family browse as long as we wanted and was very patient when I became stressed or frustrated. I gave the salon only 4 stars because of the selection. They have only a limited number of each size, but this is what you have to expect when going to a store like this. I found my perfect dress and saved a lot of money, I would recommend, especially for brides on a budget or looking to save money!

I bought my wedding dress at Second Summer Bride and I'm happy I did. I feel like my money went a lot further here - I got a sample dress which was in very good shape for much cheaper than a full-price dress. They have a good selection of dresses here and I'll be looking into reselling my dress soon!

I went to Second Summer Bride because I was desperate... and I'm so glad I did! Being a procrastinator (my bad), I waited until a month before the wedding to get alterations quotes only to find out that I had lost weight since buying it 8 months before. The dress needed to be taken in two sizes, the sweetheart neckline needed to be lowered and the dress needed to be shortened and bustled. This was going to be almost $1,000 to alter, the same amount that I had paid for the dress. With it being that difficult and expensive to alter, I decided to buy a new dress and try to sell the old one. I tried one other Austin boutique before walking into Second Summer Bride three weeks before my wedding, extremely scared that I would not be able to find a dress. Thankfully, I was proved wrong quickly! I had an amazing experience, in which a very understanding associate helped me find several dresses I loved, the very first of which turned out to be THE dress! I was in and out in thirty minutes with a dress that cost less and that I loved much more than my first! To make things even crazier, I changed my mind about wearing a veil and went back five days before the wedding to get one, was helped by the same person and found one in minutes. I truly enjoyed both of my experiences at this very stylish boutique (don't let the surrounding area/outside scare you, the inside is adorable!), and have nothing but good things to say about the customer service. Don't let the consignment part make you nervous.. All of the dresses I tried on were brand new, and even the ones that were not were gorgeous! But go to Second Summer and see for yourself; I promise you won't be disappointed!

Second Summer Bride was the first bridal gown boutique I went to. I was astonished to find such a large selection of gowns, styles and sizes. The store was bigger than I expected, but still very warm and intimate, and the experience was definitely all about me. The team there was fabulous. They helped me to define the look I was going for, even though I really had no clue when I walked in the door (I'm not one of those brides whose been planning her dream wedding since she was 10...). They encouraged me to try styles that I didn't expect to like, and were incredibly kind, fun, and encouraging. I didn't expect to find my dress at the first shop, but they also encouraged me to shop around and be absolutely certain that it was the one (since their dresses are off the rack). I went to a few other boutiques, as well as the big box wedding store that everyone knows, and didn't have such great experiences. People were unfriendly and unwilling to help me. I'm so glad that wasn't my first dress shopping experience! However, it only made me realize that I wanted the dress I had found at Second Summer Bride, not only because I loved the dress but because I wanted to support a local store that truly cared about their brides. If you live in Austin, I would HIGHLY recommend you check them out!

We purchased my daughter's wedding dress in this delightful shop! A semi-private shopping experience with excellent prices! Only one other customer was shopping at the same time as our party. It was wonderful! We visited David's Bridal first - NO COMPARISON! Second Summer was such a great experience. Lots of dresses to choose from and plenty of comfortable seating for the bridal party.
