I first met Bradley doing makeup for a wedding in 2019. He was extremely professional and knew how to work a group really well. From that moment forward, I knew that when I got married I wanted him to photograph my wedding. Everything about his timeless photo style, the way he works with others, and his ability to corral very large people made him a perfect fit for what I was looking for. My husband and I are both in the wedding industry and can confidently say that Bradley is the best in the business. We got all of our photos back from each session with within a timely manner. Our wedding was perfectly captured. You can truly see the joy on our faces and the fun our guests had.

If I could leave 6 stars, I would! When my husband and I decided to elope in New Orleans, I told him, "all I want is a great photographer to take photos around New Orleans". Well, let me tell you the photos are GORGEOUS! When we told Bradley of our secret elopement, he was in and helped us plan the whole thing- from the Officiant, to the flowers, to the actual location as well as phot ops after. Bradley is professional, punctual, creative and NICE. We are thrilled with the photos. We had such an amazing experience from start to finish with Bradley and Second Line! We did our engagement shoot with Bradley in Armstrong Park. He knew I was nervous and shy in front on a camera so he met us at the lounge across the street for a drink to loosen us up. We ended up having the most amazing time and it showed through our pictures. He kept us laughing and made us so comfortable. Because of this we've received nothing but compliments on our engagement photos. About 2 weeks later we received the whole gallery and were thrilled. He also did my bridals where I wore a black wedding dress (halloween wedding) and he pickjed the perfect wooded spot in City Park. They turned out magical!! For our wedding he was again so comfortable to work with and knowledgeable. It was incredibly windy that day and the roof of the hotel was restricted for construction so his quick thinking found us another spot to take my family and bridal party pictures which I will cherish! (Any excuse to post a wedding picture I still do 2 years later!) And my husband and his groomsmen look like something out of GQ for their pics walking around the quarter before the wedding. Every type of detail shot and photo on my list that I wanted he got. And everything came back so timely! Highly recommend his services and having a drink with him!

Second Line Photography is second to none! I can’t recommend Brad enough! I had the pleasure of having Brad photograph my engagement shoot and my wedding day. For starters, the prices were the most reasonable by FAR, and I did quite a good bit of searching before I came across Brad. Upon talking to Brad on the phone and experiencing how professional, yet delightful he is, it was clear that I made the right choice of photographer. From the start, my husband and I could both tell that Brad not only knows what he is doing, but he is so easy to work with. I have nothing but great things to say about Brad’s communication with me throughout the entire process, his reliability, and his personality. When we took engagement photos as well as the day of the wedding, Brad made it so comfortable. It felt like we were hanging with a close friend who just happened to be taking our pictures! Both my husband and I’s families really enjoyed having Brad taking photos too. We couldn’t help but laugh at Brad’s funny jokes. It was truly a highlight of the wedding day and the engagement shoot for me. As far as his work, it speaks for itself. He got some of the most beautiful shots throughout the process! I quickly noticed that Brad truly has a knack for thinking quick on his feet during shoots and finding great angles, shots, etc. That also made it super FUN and exciting, I don’t believe it would’ve been that way with many others. I was blown away at how stunning the photos came out! Brad’s assistant also did a great job of getting some candid shots of my wedding that I love! Another noteworthy thought is the photo booth. We rented the photo booth for our wedding day, and the guests loved it. It was super efficient being that it was small so it can fit anywhere, and everything is digital! Overall, Second Line Photography is the best. My expectations were exceeded on all parts and I’d recommend Brad to anyone! After the experience that I had, it’s a no-brainer who will be taking my next photographs.

Choosing Second Line Photography for our wedding in March of 2023 was one of the best decisions we made for our big day! I was familiar with their work before I was even engaged. The first thing I did after saying “Yes!” was call Second Line Photography to book our date. Owner, Bradley, took time to get to know me and my now-husband prior to our engagement shoot which made all the difference when it came time to start snapping photos! I have a shy personality but Bradley knew how to make us feel comfortable and bring out our fun sides. He captured my fiance’s goofy charm perfectly. He recommended the perfect spots around the city to showcase what we love about New Orleans. On our wedding day, Bradley and his team kept us entertained as they chased after our Second Line down Canal street snapping pictures and even climbing on a trash can at one point to get the perfect shot! They quite literally went above and beyond. We got our wedding photos back quickly and they are GORGEOUS. I have looked at them every day since and I will cherish them forever. They have several great packages to pick from but I highly recommend adding the photo booth! Our guests had a blast with it and loved that they could have those photos and gifs sent directly to their phones. Bradley responded to all communication quickly and professionally. We ran into some unfortunate issues with other vendors and Bradley helped me find new ones who truly saved the day! I cannot recommend Second Line Photography enough.

Bradley and his team are phenomenal! He shot my engagements, bridals, and wedding, and everywhere we went, we came across other vendors who knew and spoke highly of Bradley. Our engagement session was in City Park, which Bradley knew like the back of his hand, and even when it started to rain on us, he worked quickly and efficiently to get us the best shots. (They came out amazing.) For my bridal portraits, Bradley went above and beyond and spent hours getting the most beautiful photos at Felicity Church and the Orpheum Theater. I met Bradley years ago through senior portraits and knew that when the time came, I would ask him to take my wedding photos. His response to my inquiry was prompt and very heartfelt. The packages had a nice variety at a reasonable cost. Besides that, our pictures and my bridals came out AMAZING! I adore the moments Brad captured during my bridal session and on my wedding day. Each is an authentic gallery of special moments-I can almost hear them when I look back through the pictures. Brad helped me pose, but still look natural—I look like myself. (I was so worried about looking too staged.) I had a summer wedding, a big colorful bouquet, and got married in an old gothic revival style cathedral—the way he was able to balance the colors was amazing! Better than I even imagined! My husband and I first used Brad for my engagement pictures and we quickly realized that he was very personable and professional and that he was going to be our photographer for our wedding! There is just something about him and his team that make all the nervous butterflies fly away! The day of the wedding comes and everything is going wrong (like anyone’s wedding) and Brad showed up to take pictures and saw that I was in the middle of freaking out, he came to reassure me that we were on schedule and that he would photograph the grooms party first instead to give me the extra time to get myself together! He knows exactly how to pose you and what light to use so that you look flawless. I was so nervous and the pictures didn’t reflect that at all! My wedding was at nighttime outside and you’d never be able to tell, they look like they were taken in the daylight! He got along with everyone at the wedding so much that he blended away with the guests! The week before my wedding I decided I wanted to add the photo booth and he made it not an issue at all! He was more than happy to bring it and transport it all the way to Covington! It was such a hit with the kids and the extended family! I honestly couldn’t have asked for more and will recommend Brad to anyone who will listen for wedding, family pictures, he can do it all!

Brad & his team were AMAZING to work with! They photographed our wedding day. He was super communicative and when I had random questions a week before and he was out of country on vacation was still responding answering my questions. Our bridal party & groomsmen also had such a fun time with them and haven’t stopped talking about how fun they were and all while things still ran so smoothly and promptly! Our pictures came out so beautiful and will forever cherish each one of them. Couldn’t have asked for anything better- highly recommend!

I originally purchased a package and added on the Photo Booth for $400 since the venue we booked did not have one already. We ended up switching to a new venue that had a Photo Booth, so I asked if I could get a credit towards the next payment or just get the $400 back since we no longer needed his Photo Booth. He told me he was unable to refund the money or give credit, but would offer me 2 mini photo shoots in the future free of charge. I took that option with the intentions of using him for my maternity pictures within the same year. As my husband and I were anxiously waiting for our wedding pictures, I got them one night while I was out of town. I decided to wait to show anybody, including my husband, the pictures until I got back in town. Meanwhile, I was informed that Bradley also sent the link to my photos to my husband’s cousin, who he knew. I asked her not to share them, but she told me that Bradley had asked her to send them to her sister (he did her wedding a few years back) as well. So not only was this unprofessional sending out my pictures that I paid for without my permission, but my husband’s family got to see our wedding pictures before he did and before I could have the pleasure of showing them to anybody. When I finally worked up the courage to email him about this situation and how upset I was, he responded by saying he would rather just refund me the $400 instead of doing any future projects with me. He told me to send him my Venmo information, and he would pay me on August 12th. On August 15th, I messaged him to remind him to pay me, and he said it would be another week or so. On August 30th, I sent him another message reminding him about the money that still was not sent to me, and I have yet to receive a response from him. This has been a nightmare of an ordeal from what was supposed to be the best night of my life. Now when I look back at my wedding pictures, I will always remember the negativity surrounding them. Make sure if you book him that you clarify you do not want your pictures sent to anybody else but you. Apparently, he told me that he usually sends them to not only the bride, but people that attended the wedding that ask for them.

Brad and his team are truly the best at what they do!! He is so easy to work with and super communicative. He made us both feel so at ease both for our engagement pictures and on our wedding day and you can see that in our pictures. His work truly speaks for itself. And book his photobooth! It was a highlight of the night.

Bradley is the person you want to have by your side for every special occasion. The engagement and wedding photos we received are stunning. He made it so easy to be yourself. I can not describe how comfortable I felt that he would get every shot that we needed with no issues. He personality is contagious and he keeps your laughing. Honestly, it's hard to even put into words how much we appreciate Brad and his team at Second Line Photography - They are INCREDIBLE! We did an engagement shoot a few days before our wedding, and Brad made it so easy and fun! He has this trifecta of natural talent, learned skill and genuine love for what he does. We cannot say enough good things about Brad and his crew! I immediately was drawn to his style of photography as he is elegant but also fun and uses "real colors" as I described it, rather than using lighter filters that I kept seeing on other wedding photographers portfolios. We had an online interview with Brad and we immediately felt like we were friends with him! He was hilarious, professional, and knew exactly what he was doing. I am absolutely in LOVE with our wedding photos!!!! If you are looking for an incredible photographer that will make the entire experience fun and put you at ease then Brad is your man!! I am not that girl who always knows how to stand or position myself, so I knew I needed someone to look out for that and my husband was worried about feeling awkward in front of the camera, but Brad really took care of us. Brad was wonderful for our daughters wedding. He handled everything with a smile. We had several locations the day of the wedding and he did not miss a detail. Brad was the best. We decided to elope so I knew I wanted amazing pictures that would let us relive our special day forever. I loved his work online and social media so I reached out ASAP. He had our date available and answered all the questions I had. He pointed me in the right direction to obtain our photo permit at city park and assured me we would still be able to get my dream pictures at Jackson Square afterwards. His communication was always so quick and so helpful which put this out of staff bride at ease. When we met him the day of our ceremony he was wonderful. The pictures as saw on the back of his camera were INCREDIBLE! I literally screamed in the street, “I LOVE IT!!!!” when he showed me some! He has an eye for creativity and had us stop at multiple spots for different backgrounds. We know turn around time for pictures is several weeks but we told him we really would love just one picture back that evening so we could make our big reveal on Facebook and do family via picture. He said no problem and again went above and beyond and sent us 7 pictures that evening. This man is worth every single penny. One of the best things about him is he is so down to earth and personable and it was never awkward with him. My life goal is to get him to fly to Texas to do all of our pictures starting now until forever!!! Thank you SO much Brad!

After receiving the pictures of our wedding (something like 600 of them) my wife and I were delighted to see very high quality pictures. Brad’s understanding of not only the art of photography, but his ability to capture the raw emotion of marriage, whether happiness, love, or anxiety, was absolutely astounding. From suggested poses to creative and unique use of props and sentimental objects, Brad’s imagination is only trumped by his skill. Our wedding pictures turned out 1000 times better than we could have ever expected, and we had high expectations. My words can’t fully express the depth of my appreciation for Brad’s abilities. Bradly had become a part of our family over the the last 2 years. He has done everything from our engagements, to our maternity pictures. He’s beyond easy to work with and will do what ever is needed to get the most amazing shots! He makes you feel comfortable from the get go and takes the time to get to know you as a couple, which is hard to come by now and days.

Brad was absolutely incredible every step of the way! He was very timely in all of the correspondence we had prior to the wedding. When our wedding day came, he made my wife and I feel very relaxed and confident for our photos before the wedding, which is not an easy task on your wedding day! The result was the best set of wedding photos we could ever have. We had our wedding at a cabin in rural Mississippi and the weather was horrible. Brad was kneeling in the pouring rain with mud everywhere to make sure he could get the perfect shot EVERY TIME! There was not a hint of irritation or regret for getting himself in the middle of that. In fact, it was quite the opposite! He was genuinely excited to photograph in that type of environment and the creations he could come up with! If you decide to go with another Photographer, you decided wrong.

The top priority for my wedding was finding the best photographer. I inquired with over 15 different people for availability/prices and met with 3. Bradley was our favorite from the start! Not only did I want someone who took great pictures-I wanted someone both me and my husband felt comfortable in front of. My husband isn’t big on pictures let alone “romantic pictures” but Bradley made the engagement shoot excellent! Not awkward- not stiff- just a genuine reflection of our relationship. He’s just like having a friend around to offer support and help guide you through doing something most people aren’t natural at doing. Even during my bridals he constantly reassured me how great I was doing, how pretty I looked, or how perfect that shot was etc.. and was never pushy or demanding! We even had to reschedule my bridals 3 Times because of weather and he was excellent about making that a breeze... something that goes a long way in 2018! He captured every aspect of our wedding day—before/ during/ after. And got every moment I was hoping to get on film! Even the ones I don’t remember 😂 (Bonus fact* when dealing with vendors for weddings you’d be SHOCKED to see how many of them act like they don’t care or don’t get back to you within a timely manner... talking weeks with some of my others...but Bradley always responded and was available to answer my questions anytime I messaged him) If you chose Bradley you won’t only get the best photographer you’ll get a great friend!

Brad was absolutely phenomenal. From the first meeting with him I knew I wanted to book him for the wedding!! He's so easy to talk to and great to work with - which is so important when you have the stress of a wedding on your shoulders. The actual day of the wedding he was running around everywhere, sweating like crazy in the New Orleans August heat while simultaneously not getting in anyone's way. He and his assistant worked so hard and it paid off. All of the photos captured the day so perfectly. The reception photos are my absolute favorite because he really got in the middle of the crowd - because of him, we have priceless photos of the crazy dance moves of our friends and family and the never-ending smiles on our faces. Other than marrying my bride, I think Brad was the best part of my wedding experience. From the engagement photos, to the wedding day, Brad was able to organize and mobilize everything beyond expectation. Not only does he do an excellent job with the pictures themselves, he provides an incredible personality that allows you to have fun with the entire process. Even in a time of chaos, Brad made the wedding day run smoother than we believed possible. His pricing is more than fair, and above and beyond the value of what you get. If there is one thing I did right when planning my wedding (other than picking out my groom) it would be working with Brad for photography. I met Brad for one of my girlfriend’s weddings the year before when I was a bridesmaid. One of the things I like the most about him is that he is so adaptable to each and every bride he works with. I explained that of course I wanted family and wedding party traditional photos but I was really most excited about candid shots and especially of my family and friends with us at the reception. He delivered exactly what I was looking for and more! I am excited to work with him again at BOTH of my sisters weddings next year!

I love my photos! Bradley was easy to work with and had great ideas! He also knew the exact time I was “done” with taking photos. Which for someone who hates taking pictures this is key. No regrets with Brad as our wedding photographer! We did an engagement session first with Brad and he was so easy to vibe with. My husband and I are not great "posing" picture people and Brad made it so easy and comfortable and got amazing shots! He's punctual for events and professional. I got a lot of comments about how great he was at the wedding from family and friends! I'm still obsessed with looking at our wedding photos!

Brad did both our engagement photos and our wedding. I did a ton of research before booking a photographer, and something about his work drew me in! He is a true professional, super organized, and very easy to work with. My entire bridal party, parents and friends were very impressed with his professionalism. Going into my wedding, I knew that there was ONE aspect that I would give the biggest portion of my non-reception budget to, and that was my photos. Pictures have always been incredibly important to me, so finding the right person to capture our big day was priority number one. As soon as we picked the date, we started researching photographers. My husband and I both knew IMMEDIATELY after meeting with Bradley that we wanted him to be our photographer. Truthfully, I think I knew before. Bradley was so easy to talk to, and even though he was based out of Baton Rouge at the time, he made it possible to meet with him in New Orleans. I worked insane hours and had just gotten in a car accident, so traveling was really out of the question. Bradley was so accommodating it was ridiculous. We literally booked him hours after our first meeting. He didn't mind my awkward ways and was on board with the notion that I can't ever smile and just make faces. He was totally down for the challenge. I can say with 100% authority that Bradley's photos aren't just beautiful; he makes the whole experience better. I had the good fortune of standing in my friend's wedding, and he was actually her photographer too. He's so calm and relaxed and easy to work with. That meant so much to me, because I'm a walking ball of nerves. He kept in contact with me in the months and days leading up to our wedding, and on the big day, he did not disappoint. In fact, because we developed such a good candor, he knew all of my insecurities and anxieties before the day, and he was sort of like my champion. He kept the photographs moving and didn't let anyone in the wedding party drown out my voice. He kept reminding me to breathe in between pictures, giving me breaks, and reminding me it was almost over. He even showed me shots on his camera to remind me it would all be worth it in the end. He didn't force me into shots or poses he knew would make me feel awkward and ridiculous, and I really appreciate that. He captured the day without staging it. Our friends and family RAVED about how on point he was. I've only gotten a few sneak peek shots back, because it's only been two weeks, but the pictures so far are BREATHTAKING. I'm so excited to get all of my pictures back. I can't say enough good things about the experience you get with Secondline, and I'd recommend them to anyone.

Choosing a photographer for your wedding is no easy task, especially when asking friends for recommendations which should make that search much easier. But I felt that after numerous ask for recommendations I never was able to get a recommendation from our friends whom have been married way before we got married. That alone told me they did not like the experience they received. So during my search, I not only wanted a professional who took great pictures but I wanted the experience from a professional photographer who created such that experience from the first time we met and well after the wedding. That experience being many things such as providing recommendations on outfits or other wedding vendors they trust, best places to take engagement photos, working out plans for wedding day pictures even in the event weather may not permit as planned, and may more things that make such a wonderful wedding experience. But most of all, I wanted someone accountable and responsive. Yes, it is very easy to say I want someone who takes amazing pictures but the process is not just that. The process is so much more when choosing the perfect vendor for this task. All of the items on my checklist for a wedding photographer were checked off by Brad King with Secondline Photography.
