eceived for our wedding in October of 2024. We toured the venue in April of 2023 and signed for our October date. We booked the large property and paid to use their iconic open-air clear tent with twinkle lights. Their contract states that the props throughout the property are subject to change and what you see during your tour may not be what is there for your event, which is understandable. That said, we could not have expected the drastic change to the property that we experienced. To make a long story short, Secret Gardens demolished the plastic tent that we had come to expect for our wedding and replaced it with an enclosed glass structure…with NO communication about this change. In their eyes, this was a complimentary upgrade they were providing to their clients who had signed for the previous structure. The problem? They provided absolutely NO communication about this change. The only reason we found out was because we asked to do a self-guided tour in April of 2024 and saw that there was construction happening on the property. We scheduled a call shortly after with Joe Doyle, Sales & Marketing Director, to ask more questions about the construction. When asked about their communication plan for their clients about this change he essentially said that they were not going to communicate with their 200+ clients because construction is unpredictable and they didn’t want to be providing constant updates. We were dissatisfied about the lack of communication, but Joe went into full “salesman mode” and kept promising us that we were going to love it, that it was a complimentary upgrade, and that it was going to be the better than what we had expected. He couldn’t understand why we weren’t happy and was actually surprised by our reaction. It seemed like a reasonable expectation to be communicated of such a change to our wedding venue, but they didn’t think so. What’s worse, is that this change was within 6 months of our event date. According to the contract, if we cancelled within 6 months of our date, we would owe them all the money. Whether they acknowledge it or not, this put us in a difficult position. I mentioned to Joe the difficult position they were putting us in and it was only in that moment when he took a brief pause during his “trust me, everything is great” speech that he offered to not charge us if we chose to cancel. We had no choice because we didn’t want to try and find another venue with less than 6 months to our date, so we agreed to keep our event there and make it work. Did the event turn out beautiful? Sure. Was the enclosed space actually quite nice considering the rainy weather we had during our wedding? Yeah. But the treatment we received with this lack of communication really soured the whole experience. Given this lack of communication, the lack of acknowledgement and empathy with our concerns we would not recommend Secret Gardens. Unfortunately, I don’t believe they will take this as a learning opportunity as they receive a lot of business and are generally very successful. Be extremely wary if you choose to work with them. I hope that if you do, you have a much more positive experience than we did.

cross this place on the internet as it was a little hidden. More people should know about this place! Scheduled a tour immediately and knew this place was it!!! Their main focuses include weddings so they’re highly experienced in conducting events at this caliber. Joe, the owner was incredibly easy to work with and super generous!!! This place also needs no decoration as it was already perfect the way it is. We forgot to bring a few decoration pieces on the day of the wedding, but honestly no one missed them. Lol I would recommend getting the tent with AC though, your guests would probably appreciate it. It rained a little on our wedding day, but we were super glad that we were able to move some part of the wedding under the tent. It’s nice to have both indoor and outdoor options as the weather can be a bit unpredictable in Miami. We were also able to switch the schedule around a little due to the rain too since we had more indoor space, so at the end, everything turned out great and everyone had a great time! Thanks so much everyone!!!!

My now husband had several health problems and we had to move our wedding 3 times. Joe was so kind helping us move the wedding and rescheduling during that rough time in our lives. We also got the privilege to work with all of their preferred vendors which was amazing since they know the property inside and out. All you need is one food tasting at the Secret Gardens and they will have you lined up to book! by the natural beauty at Secret Gardens. Joe, one of the owners, was very quick to respond to any questions and emails I sent. The crew that maintains the property does an amazing job. If anything wasn’t right with the property or houses on the property, their team acted quickly to fix the problem. We will definitely be back in the future for a photoshoot or two.

price. Joe, the property manager, and his wife, Blanca, really care about their clients. Joe worked with me for months to ensure everything went perfect on my special day. They were extremely accommodating. This venue is STUNNING. There are so many different areas for your guests to explore. Our guests were all obsessed with how nice, clean, and picturesque this venue is. You simply must tour it. The natural beauty is breathtaking, which makes for excellent photos for you and your guests. One thing that's extra special about Secret Gardens is the layout of the venue. At most wedding venues, you're stuck in one room and it's too loud to make conversation. At Secret Gardens, your guests can break it down on the dance floor or talk and mingle anywhere on the property. A majority of our guests stayed until the very end of our wedding simply because of the great layout being conducive to everyone's interests. There is something for everyone. I truly cannot recommend Secret Gardens enough. It was the perfect wedding venue. We had the best wedding ever!

hour and photos, to the dinner, DJ, and the catering staff, I cannot think of 1 situation I wish would have been different. Everyone was so willing to help, they went out of their way to make sure we stayed on schedule. The appetizers were delicious! The bartenders all knew each other and were having fun with us! Every trip to the bar was a pleasant conversation or a good laugh. The food was exquisite! DJ adhered to my daughter’s music preference to the perfection! Catering staff was very professional and served food as people sat, to make sure everyone got a hot meal, we had different menu options and they knew just who ordered what. I just can’t say enough about my experience last night. Thank you sooooo much to everyone that made this night unforgettable and a COMPLETE success!!!

Our requests were listened to and accommodated and overall they were just so incredibly easy to work with. We are so happy we decided to go with Secret Garden as our wedding venue!

s the first time for their wedding expo (where we toured the property, met the owners and many of their preferred vendors and sampled food and beverages) we knew it was the perfect venue for us. Their pricing was beyond fair, especially in contrast to many other venues of similar size nearby, but beyond that it was stunning the night of our wedding. They have lights strung through trees and a gorgeously lit reception tent, their lush vegetation and blue green lagoons were a gorgeous setting to spend the night among. All of our guests loved it. What’s more, the layout of the venue allowed us to split the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception into three unique settings, cocktail hour under their tiki cabana was a big hit. I can’t speak any higher of Joe and Blanca Doyle, who run Secret Gardens. Every time me or my wife had a question I would text one of them and almost every time we’d have a response within five minutes, they were so attentive to our needs even in months prior to the our big day. True professionals, if we needed help with direction in any sense they would either have the answer ready for our questions or were quick to put us in touch with the person who did, and they set us up with some really amazing vendors. With the exception of one, all of our vendors were from their preferred list, and having a team who had not only all worked the venue but had also worked the venue together before made the day of come together seamlessly. It made everything so smooth. To top it off, when my wife showed up to prepare morning of, she arrived to find the Doyle’s had an entire crew on site freshly mowing the grass, picked up fallen branches and beautifying the whole property. She got ready with her girls in their on site suite and had the best time, even the photos she had taken from cellphones while they prepared in the beautiful suite looked like they were straight out of a magazine. All in all they delivered better than I could’ve hoped, excellent communication and quick to address any concerns, even the day of Joe was there to make sure everything was running smooth. If you want a venue thats absolutely gorgeous and owners that make your life easy as possible, you won’t regret choosing Secret Gardens Miami. Their main property was beautiful as well, but for our wedding of just over 70 people, the Villa Laguna property was perfect size and a huge success. Blanca and Joe were phenomenal from Day 1 and were always attentive to our questions and concerns. Our families continue to talk about how beautiful and special the venue was. We honestly thought it would be tough to plan and have our destination wedding but the venue did not disappoint and provided us so many preferred vendors which helped in our planning process. We even got to try some of the food and juices which were delicious! Afterwards we took a tour of the beautiful property with Joe, he answered all of questions, and even showed us set up options we could have for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. The communication was effortless from our first inquiry to the day of the tour. I definitely recommend checking this place out.

The staff was helpful on the wedding day and made sure we were informed as to what to do to avoid cleaning fees. Aside from the fact that they misplaced our fish food bags (which were replaced, so no big deal), they were absolutely perfect. We received countless compliments from our guests. With so many beautiful ponds and gorgeous grounds to stroll through, there wasn't a boring moment for them. I wish we could re-live the day over and over again!

It was an easy decision for us to choose Secret Gardens as the one - they checked all of our boxes. 3 bedroom villa on site, clear tent on the property, soooo many photo op spots, gorgeous natural environment, and no time restrictions! I was able to stay and get ready on site all day and then we partied until 1am with no issues. Then you throw in the owners… Joe & Blanca were God sends. I was able to reach out to them - text or email - at any time during the planning process and they always got back to me fast & efficiently. I felt loved, supported, and welcomed as part of their family. They care so much for all their clients and do whatever it takes to make them happy. Thank you to the whole Secret Gardens team! My wedding was my perfect day & better than my dreams!!

ide from how perfect the ambiance of this place is, their team is AMAZING! They were so accommodating from our first tour to even after our wedding day. I'm so thankful for Joe and Blanca. We were invited to have our engagement shoot on property, welcomed to visit anytime, and were allowed to have my dog (our ring bearer) sniff around prior to wedding day. On top of that, I accidentally left my bouquet on property after the wedding. Joe responded promptly, as always, put it in water and had it ready for me to pick up the next day. I have nothing but great things to say. My thanks are endless!

Having the opportunity to move the guests through 3 different sections (ceremony by lagoon and bridge, cocktail hour by the second waterfront, and reception under the tent) really made it feel so spacious and beautiful. I love that everything was outside, and there was enough room under the reception area to space the tables out and still have so much space for dancing. This was the perfect venue for us and 65 guests. Very happy with our choice. Also want to add that we used Events by Molina for catering. They are the sweetest, and the food was delicious!! All of our guests were raving about the hors d'oeuvres and entrees. The cake was delicious as well. They even had options for late night snacks and doggy bags which is great. I will most definitely be using them for events in the future.
