Katie and Magdalena were amazing! They whole staff was wondering and they literally take care of everything! People told of we didnt need a wedding coordinate because they staff takes are of everything and they were 100% right! The food is great! The locations is awesome! 10/10!

Our wedding was absolutely PERFECT! We can't say enough wonderful things about the SGR and definitely can't imagine our wedding anywhere else. We live in a different state and having Katie by our side answering all questions and being available for us was a godsend. She really went above and beyond helping us pick out vendors and guiding us to create the most magical day of our lives. We were elated on how everything turned out from decor down to the food. The food was incredible! Everyone was raving about it and they just wanted more. The wedding coordinator Magdalena was also a standout! She was so very sweet, hard working and helped make sure we were well taken care of. Katie and Magdalena are a super team you NEED for your wedding! They set up all our decor exactly the way we wanted and it was just gorgeous. We heard from multiple people how our wedding was the most beautiful wedding they have ever attended. We can't thank SGR enough for all the effort they put in making sure we had nothing to worry about for our big day. 5/5 stars! It truly was the best decision to have our wedding here. It will now always be our special place and we can't wait to come back. We love the SGR and will be coming back to visit whenever we are in Sedona.

Our wedding was BEAUTIFUL! Everything went perfect. We had a blast. We do not have enough wonderful things to say about Sedona Golf Resort and we are so happy we got to celebrate there. The decor and set up was amazing, Sedona Golf Resort and all the venders went above and beyond. I was speechless how pretty it was. The food was also outstanding. Everyone was saying how yummy the salmon and steak and chicken were. The wedding coordinator Magdalena was such a sweetheart and helped me every step of the way always making sure I was well taken care of, on top of the wonderful bartenders. Magdalena always made sure I had a drink, my dress was bustled, I had my phone and got plenty of pictures. They set up all our decor exactly the way we wanted. I also loved the special touch of serving the bridal party our signature drinks as a suprise right after the ceremony (martinis and Moscow mules). Thank you again. 5/5 stars! I Thank you to Katie also the director, who responded to my emails so quickly and helped me plan the wedding over the year. Best decision to have our wedding here. Our dog was even able to be at our entire wedding the whole time. Whenever we come back to Sedona we will make sure to stop by for lunch or dinner.

Had the wedding of our dreams here at Sedona Golf Resort this past weekend! Katie, who serves as Director of Events at SGR, is an added bonus and more or less filled the role of wedding planner for us! She answered every email I sent her (and there were a lot) immediately, even while she was out on maternity leave, and made my planning process for an out of state wedding so much easier! Want to give a special shout out to Magdalena, who is the Banquet Manager, who served as our day of event coordinator! She made everything run seamlessly on our special day and nailed every detail. She even made sure every drink was served with our custom drink stirrers with our dog on them, which were so special to me and made sure my husband and I were fed and always had a drink in our hand. We just can’t say enough amazing things about SGR. The views for the outdoor ceremony are unbeatable. All of our friends who traveled from out of state told us it was their favorite wedding they’ve been to. Everything from the food to the bar service was top notch! We did buffet style for dinner and all of our guests loved our food selections. Best part about this venue is that it’s kind of a one stop shop for vendors. So you don’t have to shop around on your own for good food and bar service. In addition, all the vendors on their recommended list are top notch and they all work incredibly well together so it made the whole process run just so smooth. Katies recommendations lead us to our amazing photographer, baker for all our desserts, DJ, florist, hotel for our guests, and even rehearsal dinner space! If I could give this place 10 stars I would!

We had the best experience hosting our wedding and working with the amazing team at Sedona Golf Resort! Everything turned out exactly how we had hoped for and more from the beautiful decor to the friendly staff and service. The ceremony location has gorgeous backdrops and reception room has perfect views and just the right size to hold a great dance party. Everything is private and combined into one perfect venue. Friends and family of 130 guests are claiming it as one of the most beautiful weddings they’ve been to! Thank you Katie and Magda!

WHAT A WONDERFUL TEAM!! We are so happy that we chose SGR for our venue!! It was a no brainer having the ceremony and reception at the same place with such a great staff of people. Katie is great but was out on maternity leave so Magdalena was there the day of our wedding and she was so kind and helpful! Nando and Eric (hopefully I didn't butcher the spelling) were amazing bartenders and helped out doing multiple things I cant say enough good things about this place and have only positive things to say. They made everything come together just perfectly and we can both say we had the best night of our lives! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I talked with Katie during my whole wedding planning process. She is the best! She is very quick to respond and very helpful with all of my questions. On my wedding day Magdalena was the coordinator because Katie was on maternity leave. Mags was absolutely wonderful as well! She was so very attentive and such a sweetie! They had the reception hall decorated beautifully and Mags kept everyone on time and all events running smoothly. The views are spectacular. I highly recommend the Sedona Golf Resort for your wedding venue!

I cannot even begin to express how happy I am to have chosen SGR as our venue. This place is unmatched. The views alone are priceless, but what you get for the money (very reasonably priced by the way!) cannot be beat! The staff are fantastic and have done about a billion weddings (or so you would think by their level of expertise). Katie (coordinator) was incredible and it honestly felt like I had my own personal wedding planner without needing to hire one! The staff even bustled my dress for me at the appropriate time of the event (like what other venue does that?!?)! The staff handles all of your table set up and tear down so you don’t have to stress about that the day of. They even keep an eye on your cards/gift table and make sure things are put away in a secure place at the appropriate time of the night. I am truly blown away by the SGR and I really feel like we got so much for our money. So many of our guests have been raving about the venue and what an incredible location it’s in. I highly, highly recommend SGR. There is truly no other venue in Sedona, or AZ in general, that can beat it!

On February 22nd, 2019, Sedona got 20+ inches of snow, the most snow they have had in years and it just happened to be our wedding day! I had no idea what to expect and definitely wasn’t expecting to still have an outside ceremony at the Sedona Golf Resort as planned, BUT the amazing staff at Sedona Golf Resort made it happen! Katie Draxler kept me calm all day and was confident they would make it work. They spent hours shoveling out walkways, rows for seating, an aisle and we had our wedding outside in the magical snowy setting! It was more than we could have ever imagined and we couldn’t have done it without the amazing staff at Sedona Golf Resort. On top of that the food and service was excellent!! I highly recommend having your wedding at Sedona Golf Resort!

Overall, the venue is decently priced for a Sedona wedding, and with catering/bar/linens all being a part of the Sedona Golf Resort packages for ceremony & reception, this made things easy in terms of not needing to coordinate those types of vendors. As the planning process started to come along, a few things were not explained very clearly to us in regards to how the open bar was operated. First, everything was explained to us verbally, which made it difficult to go back and try to find concrete reasoning for actions, both on our side and the venue’s side. The open bar, from our understanding (our being me and my husband, as well as my father and his wife) were all paid for in advance and anything left undrank was to be refunded. Nothing was disclosed to us about how special order items were handled differently, or that refunds only applied to unopened cases of beer/wine/etc. We ended up being sent home with quite a bit of special order wine and ciders we had no intention of having to travel home with, and that was an area of our spending that I was hoping to get some credit back for, as my intention was to over-calculate the bar and receive a refund. The venue could not find proof where they explained the bar correctly to us, and it was a mistake we as the consumers ended up having to take the hit for. In addition to this, guests were served premium drinks all night, and I was later informed that beer was being served before our ceremony, and shots were served at the reception, which I had asked not to. This combination caused us to have to purchase an additional beer keg package before dinner, AND we ran out of our hard liquor tab 30 minutes before final call, which I REALLY was not expecting. The alcohol overall was my biggest issue, as I felt it was handled very poorly. It seemed the venue was more interested in getting their money rather than trying to work with us on the amount we spent (which was not cheap), and be somewhat conservative in order to make everything last the whole night. I feel that if a guest orders a cranberry vodka, they should not have been given premium, but we were charged for all premium drinks all night, which is absolutely why our bar tab was completely gone before the night was over. As for some few small detail items on the day of, none of the votive candles for our centerpieces, sweetheart table, or entry way, had been lit for the entire evening. In addition, we had paid for outdoor heaters for the whole evening. Upon guests’ arrival around 4 PM, until the end of the evening, the heaters were never turned on. This was a very cold Saturday in February, and we had rented these from the venue to ensure our guests were comfortable in the very cold weather. Lastly, the venue coordinator, Katie, was pregnant prior to our event date. She ended up leaving our event right after the ceremony. Once we came back from photos on the golf course, we were left alone in the buffet room for about a half hour trying to find someone to help us figure out what was going on. No one was really present to get us moving on to the next item of the evening. Then, at the end of everything, I never even received a thank you follow-up from the venue for hosting our event at the venue. The only contact we received from Katie after our event was a response to our bar tab issues, in which she was very short with us and again, never thanked us.

We are so happy and lucky to have gotten married at the Sedona Golf Resort! The location and views were perfect, the hotels next door were awesome, and everyone at the Golf Resort made us feel like royalty. Katie Draxler, Director of Events, was so incredibly helpful throughout the planning process and on our wedding day. She walked us through every step of the planning process, was open and honest and so helpful! (Everyone needs a Katie on their wedding day ladies!) The wedding day went so smoothly and Katie helped coordinate the set up of everything. The food was AWESOME! The rest of the staff and servers were great as well! Seriously, I cannot say enough good things about the Sedona Golf Resort! If you’re looking for a gorgeous venue, convenient location for you and all of your guests, great food, and fantastic service, this place is for you!

Words can never express how much I loved getting married at Sedona Golf Resort. The background at the ceremony space is just breathtaking, the inside space is elegant with big floor to ceiling windows and comfy chairs instead of your standard wedding chairs, and all of the staff there is beyond exceptional. Katie was incredible and made the whole planning process there a breeze. She knows her recommended vendors so well and coordinates so many of the details with them leading up to and on the day of the wedding. I didn’t have to worry about a single detail during the ceremony or reception because she always had everything organized and accounted for. Also, my guests still keep talking about how delicious the food was!

Katie and the whole staff at Sedona Golf Resort were top notch from the day we visited ten months before until my daughters wedding day! Katie was always very responsive and timely on any questions we had throughout the planning. When arriving the week of the wedding, we dropped off all decorations and supplies to get them out of our way. She set everything up beautifully for the reception,we didn't have to setup or take anything down! She said y'all are here to celebrate! She even made sure I had taken the time to eat at the reception! The staff was always attentive and on top of things. If they saw the bride and groom or my husband and I even looked like we needed anything they were there to help! The guest all raved about the food! The views at Sedona Golf resort are breathtaking and Katie and staff put the icing on the cake !!!

Sedona Golf Resort was the perfect location for our wedding! With the majority of the guests not being from Arizona we wanted a venue with the best views of the red rocks to show family and friends why we love Sedona, and SGR has those views. The outside ceremony same is gorgeous and the floor to ceiling glass windows allow guests to continue seeing the views from inside. The food was AMAZING; everyone kept commenting on how good everything tasted. The staff helping with the food, clearing tables, and bartending were all phenomenal- so friendly, professional and attentive. Katie Draxler, the coordinator, was amazing! From the moment we met her we knew we would be in hands. She had the best recommendations for vendors, the best tips and advice, and always responded quickly to any questions. Being across the country for most of the planning wasn't difficult or stressful because of Katie! The day of couldn't have gone any smoother, everything was perfect. Katie left nothing for me to stress or worry about, made everything look absolutely gorgeous, and always made sure we had a drink in our hands. We would highly recommend Sedona Golf Resort to anyone looking to get married in Sedona!

From start to finish, the attentive service Katie and her staff provided was beyond our expectations. She remained readily available for any questions we had & ensured all went as planned. We received so many heartfelt compliments from family & friends of how beautiful the wedding was & how great the food tasted! Picking Sedona Golf Resort was one of the best decisions I made. I had an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. the ceremony views definitely do not disappoint. I worked with Katie the majority of the time but she happened to be out of town for the actual wedding day. Edwin stepped in and took over for the wedding. They were both amazing. Katie was always easy to get in touch with regarding tours or questions. She introduced us to Edwin a few months before the actual wedding. Edwin took care of everything for the rehearsal, which involved corralling people at 9 am on new year's day. Not an easy task. When it came to the actual wedding, I didn't have to worry about anything. All of the small details that I had been stressing over were completely taken care of. Edwin took care of extra guests showing up to dinner, some people not following the seating chart and anything else of that nature. You would never have known anything was wrong. The dinner was absolutely amazing and I only heard rave reviews from guests. They were even able to provide kids meals. The bar was great and attentive. We left that evening with a bunch of happy guests and only heard great things about the venue in the morning.

Katie was amazing! She always answered our questions in a prompt email back to us. We were surprised by the amount of staff on hand and they are just as amazing at their jobs. All of the vendors that attended our wedding were well coordinated. Which took so much stress off of our shoulders. We chose to do the buffet and the sea bass was a hit! Although it does not rain very much in sunny Arizona it was a down pour 30 min prior to our start time. We had to move the ceremony inside. I was a worried but it turned out to be stunning!! Absolutely romantic with the lights, flowers, and fog rolling off the red rocks in the background. The rain did clear up and we took our photos outdoors. We can not thank Sedona Golf Resort enough for our beautiful wedding!!

Our wedding was held on Saturday, March 29 at Sedona Golf Resort and it was by far one of the most memorable moments of my life! This was a destination wedding for us so all my decision making was going off of pictures and reviews. When I arrived it was everything I had hoped for and more! The set up of the ceremony, the breath taking views, the convenience of the patio and reception hall was just as perfect as it could get! Katie was the most helpful and positive person throughout the entire planning and execution process. Talk about professionalism, caring and fun all combined was a A+ for sure! She was by my side making things happen from rehearsal through the end of the reception. Our dinner, yes I ate, was delicious and large portions! All the guests raved about how amazing their meal was and how they couldn't believe this was a "wedding dinner"! The day after the wedding I said I wanted to do it all over again and I couldn't imagine doing it anywhere else! Thank you to Katie, the wonderful SGR staff members and to the breath taking views! I encourage anyone and everyone to have their event at Sedona Golf Resort!

You can't get a better view in Sedona. I was not pelased with the attention to detail... The wedding was wonderful but we had some hiccups. If you choose this location PLEASE get anon site wedding planner. And be VERY careful with your stuff my$400 veil was no where to be found :( We had a seat down dinner and the food was very good. The staff was very kind.

We just had our wedding at Sedona Golf Resort on 10/20/12. It was gorgeous! The most perfect day of our lives and we couldn't have asked for a better venue. The view is breathtaking, the food was delicious and the staff was so friendly and helpful. I can't say enough about this venue. From the first day we took a tour we were sold. Katie, the event coordinator was such a great resource. Always, responded quickly to my emails, let us come up and check out the venue anytime, and even gave us referrals for other vendors for the BIG day. I thought I might need a wedding planner, but with Katie's help and some research everything was perfect. Our friends and family were absolutely stunned with the red rock views and floor to ceiling windows. We had a buffet style dinner and there was not one item that we didn't want more of; fantastic food! Go for a visit, eat lunch while you are there and you will be planning your wedding there in no time!

We were very disappointed with the lack of organization, yes the food was perfect and the scenery was breathe taking but things did not run smoothly like we were promised. My father, who walked me down the aisle didn't have his Boutonniere as well as my grandfather which was told by people who worked there to not worry about anything they will make sure everyone had what they needed, obviously wasn't the case. Cocktail hour was supposed to be outside only but for some reason they were letting ppl go in the reception room before they were even done setting it up for the reception part. No one had direction to where they were supposed up go so a lot of my guests were confused and didn't know what they were supposed to go. I got a lot of horrible complaints from guests about how much money I spent on this wedding that they weren't acting like they knew what they were doing. I put a lot of time and ALOT of money in this wedding and was very upset on the outcome.

The views are breathtaking! The staff did an amazing job at making my day wonderful. I had many elaborate decorations and they did a fabulous job putting them together perfectly. They do nickel and dime you though so be aware of that. However even with that they are very reasonably priced compared to the other venues we looked at in sedona and we looked at several!! They are also willing to pretty much give you anything you want for the right price which is nice because a lot of places have restrictions. It also has a beautiful glass indoor space with red rock views that could be used for the ceremony in case it rained. The food was wonderful too. Overall they did a wonderful job and I was happy with my experience there!

I am so thankful to Sedona Golf Resort. They were extremely professional and were very easy to work with. Especially from being out of town and unable to view the venue personally they were perfect. The venue was beautiful, the food was amazing, and the staff was very accommodating. I highly recommend this venue for your ceremony/reception.

We had our wedding at the Sedona Golf Resort on February 19, 2011. Working with the Staff (Janelle and Marty) was awesome! The service and the food were great, the location of the venue was convenient for our guests staying at the Ridge on Sedona Golf Resort and at the Sedona Hilton, the views are spectacular, they did an awesome job setting up the room with my directions, everything was beautiful! The only issue we had was that the dance floor was too small - but that's only because everyone wanted to dance! We had 120 people attend our event and a full open bar from 4:30pm until midnight and our cost was just over 12K. They mentioned to us they will be remodeling the venue in the coming months - I can only imagine it getting better. Thanks to all at Sedona Golf Resort for a great event!

Sedona Golf Resort was the perfect place for my ceremony and reception. The staff was excellent and the background breath-taking. There isn't anything I would change about my venue.

Lot's of glass overlooking the red rocks of Sedona. The outside ceremony is beautiful. It was very fun. I just received my pictures today and all I can say is wow!;Keep working with the staff and ask for what you want. They will work to make your special day the way you want it.
