We absolutely loved working with our Sara! She was so easy to work with from start to finish and made me feel completely comfortable in front of the camera — which is not an easy task! She captured everything we wanted and so much more, giving us photos that truly reflect the joy of our day. Communication was always smooth and stress-free, and she was incredibly flexible on the wedding day, adapting to everything with grace. It’s hard to put into words just how grateful we are for Sara and the gift she gave us on our wedding day. From the moment she arrived, she brought a sense of calm, warmth, and genuine care that made us feel so seen and so understood.

Sara is the absolute best!!! I’ve used her for family photos, engagement photos, wedding photos, and Christmas card pictures. She makes you feel comfortable and pulls you out of your shell in order to get the best photos as possible! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer for their special day!!

Sara is an absolute angel!! From the moment I spoke to Sara on the phone in 2021 for my wedding in 2023 she was the absolute best. She was always there to answer my millions of questions in a timely manner, wanted to know about me and my family, and was so personal on all levels. Sara did both my rehearsal dinner as well as my wedding day.
Sarah’s photos are BREATHTAKING, so real, authentic, true to color. My favorite thing was that it was authentic, and not too posed, which is what I wanted most.
Picking vendors are hard, but picking Sara is a no brainer. Do yourself a favor and hire the best there is, I promise you, she will add so much joy and peace to your wedding day!

Sara is absolutely amazing! She did our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos! She makes you feel so comfortable behind the camera with very clear instructions on what to do. She is so calm and down to earth, but very organized! Our photos were so beautiful, I cannot pick my favorite!

Sara was so great! She really worked with us to get great engagement and wedding pics, all at very reasonable prices. She’s incredibly friendly and kind, which was so welcome when you’re a nervous wreck on your wedding day. As she told me, the photographer is the vendor by your side the whole wedding day, so it helps to like them! We certainly liked Sara and loved that her husband is her shooting partner. Highly recommend!

The sweetest human I’ve ever met. Sara and her husband are the best team ever and if it wasn’t for her, the day would have fallen apart! She wasn’t afraid to step up when we needed to be kept on schedule and made sure to capture everything I told her was important to me plus more. She’s now captured my sister’s graduation portraits and is booked for my sisters wedding this summer! We love Sara and she’ll always be our go-to photographer :)

We knew from our first phone call with Sara that we needed to have her as part of our special day. Besides being an incredibly talented photographer, Sara is so down to earth, kind, and a pleasure to be around. Sara did our engagement shots and made us feel super comfortable and fixed my hair and dress when it was out of place. Wedding days are stressful but as soon as Sara showed up at our door she put us all at ease. My bridesmaids could not stop commenting how sweet and personable she was. A few even shared how they wished their photographer at their wedding showed as much care and detail as Sara did. Being that your photographer is with ALL day, it’s important to pick someone that you feel comfortable being around. Our photos came out amazing and artistic. Sara was open to any ideas we had for poses but also was great about directing us and getting the natural light just right. She is such a great communicator and was sure to call/text/email prior to our wedding to check on all the details. See Through Photography hold our absolute highest and most sincere recommendation.

Sara is amazing!!! She made the day run so smoothy, got the best angles of everything, and made everyone feel comfortable and confident with her bubbly personality. What I thought was going to be a stressful day turned out to be a lot less than I imagined thanks to her detailed planning, prompt communication, and positive attitude. And not to mention the pictures!!! A whole album of hundreds of pictures making it really hard to pick favorites because they all turned out beautiful.
I would recommend See Through Photography to anyone and I will continue to use her for all of my life events in the future.!

Sara was an absolute dream to work with! After seeing pictures from a friends wedding we knew we had to use her. From our first interaction, she was so easy to talk to and SO sweet. Sara went above and beyond in every aspect. We used her for our engagement pictures, bridal portraits, and wedding day. My husband has told me multiple times that he can’t wait to take pictures with Sara again! Sara knows exactly how to make you feel comfortable and less awkward behind the camera. We are absolutely in love with our photos and plan to use her again in the future! As a COVID bride already stressed with the unknown and constant changes, Sara was always calm and willing to make adjustments. Aside from our venue, she was the first vendor we booked and I could not recommend her enough. Working with her was the best decision ever. She is not only an amazing photographer but the kindest human that will fill your day with joy. I promise you will not regret hiring Sara!

Sara & Nick were absolutely fabulous! Very professional, personable, punctual, organized and polite. From the first time i spoke to Sara on the phone it felt like we had known each other forever she was very easy to talk to and listen to all my questions. 1st We had our engagement session at my parents farm and she was all for it when I mentioned it. 2nd I had wanted my bridal portraits to be in the N.C mountains and when i asked Sara if that was something she would be able to do she was all on board for a trip to the mountains and the pictures turned out AMAZING! 3rd We had our wedding on my parents farm and they were both amazing! From being super organized with all the notes of shots we wanted to get throughout the whole day, being so patient, getting everyone together without being rude to anyone, they were there all day and my was it a long day but they never once complained, were never rude to anyone and was there to lend a helping hand with anything we may have needed outside of photos. I would highly suggest them to anyone! We hope to use them for other photography needs in the future.

Sara did a wonderful job with our newborn pictures. She came to our house and brought everything. Made it super easy for us. And the pictures turned out amazing! Sara is an INCREDIBLE photographer! She is so creative and fun, she can make anyone feel comfortable during a shoot. Sara took her time before our big day to understand what moments were most important to us and she captured our vision perfectly. The timeline she created ensured we had time for all the special photos but also had time to relax and catch our breath. From our toddler ring-bearer not wanting to cooperate to our family making special photo requests after the ceremony, she stayed patient and focused and our day ran so smoothly! We are so thankful we found Sara, will cherish these photos forever!

I did not specifically take wedding photos with See Through Photography, however Sara did take my engagement photos! She was very professional and very quick to respond to any questions I had. She made sure my now husband and I felt comfortable and made taking pictures fun as we are both not photogenic at all without a real laugh. I love how she edits her photos too! She made sure to stay in her promised timeline to get the photos to us and even sent us a sneak peak! I would highly recommend Sara at See Through Photography for all your photo needs! She takes amazing pictures and is super personable and fun! She was fantastic to work with!

She was patient and great with our dog because she knew how important it was to us to have shots with her. Sara was professional and timely and also extremely flexible. Sara is the best! She has the ability to make anyone feel like they are in a completely normal situation, at any point in time. It's like you forget you're in front of a camera and you think you are just with a friend. She's always readily available to be contacted and super easy to schedule with. Sara is also super attentive to any concerns we've had about getting our photos done. I know my man was super skeptical about getting photos done and she made the process SO easy. Seriously, I couldn't recommend someone greater!

Sara is as good as it gets!
Not only is Sara professional, but she is so personable and makes everyone feel like a superstar. My husband and I have always been awkward when it comes to having our picture taken, but Sara is so good at her job and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She has such a natural talent and everything she produces is beautiful.

I had no doubt Sara would be a great photographer for our wedding but she definitely exceeded our expectations. We met on two different occasions before the wedding to make sure we were all on the same page and each interaction was laid back & easy. Not only is she good at communicating but she is so personable, professional & just good at what she does. Getting family members in the right position for photos can't be fun, but she managed it so well & had a smile the entire time. Georgia & Randall were also wonderful at assisting Sara and also fun to be around. We are so pleased with our photo's and will definitely want to use Sara again in the future!!!

Sara not only was a wonderful wedding photographer on my wedding day, but she also was just a complete joy to be around. Sara went above and beyond to be sure that every shot and every moment was beautifully captured. She had the incredible ability of being right in the mix of things without being too intrusive to capture the perfect shot. She met with me from the start (over a year before my set wedding date) to get an idea of what I wanted, key moments I wanted captured, and what my style was. From there, she stayed in constant communication with me all the way up to my wedding day. My husband and I love our wedding photos and we will never be able to thank Sara enough for capturing moments we will cherish forever. I cannot recommend Sara enough to all brides on their big day!

Not only is Sara super friendly, she makes taking pictures a breeze. She is so talented and captures exactly what is unique about your relationship. She is excited and invested in making your pictures turn out exactly how you want them, plus some. Photography was the most important part of planning my wedding, and I would not choose anyone else if I did it over again. Including our engagement pictures (and my graduation pictures-she did those, too!) Sara's pictures were so much better than I ever imagined.
