Nestled amidst 18 acres of rolling pastures and tranquil landscapes in Western PA, Selenite Tea House and Event Venue offers a serene, enchanting setting for your wedding day. This idyllic venue combines old-world charm with natural beauty, providing an intimate atmosphere perfect for small to medium-sized weddings and cherished celebrations. We offer three stunning wedding packages: The Peony Moon, The Rose Quartz and The Lavender Lace. We cater rehearsal dinners, welcome brunches, "Before The I Do's" light fare packages for the day of, farewell brunches, and Sunday tea service. We may be able to offer reception catering as well, depending on the date and number of guests. We are also happy to work with you on any additional ideas you dream up (or have Pinterest-ed)! Imagine: You stand beneath gently swaying trees and twinkling lights, surrounded by florals & gauzy draperies. Kelley Perry
Owner
Kelley began her career as a criminal intelligence analyst and worked on a task force alongside the FBI, ATF, DEA & county prosecutors. When she returned to her home town of Pittsburgh to begin her family, she transitioned to real estate sales and investments, and has since sold over 100 million in real property. As a writer, entrepreneur and creator, Kelley is thrilled to open Selenite Tea House - inspired by her travels throughout Europe and her desire to have a tranquil, beautiful space stateside for her family, and clients, to enjoy.
Chandra Vignere
Operations Manager
Once a clinical research specialist, Chandra left her original field to care for her very active three children, as well as assisted with owner Kelley's over the past decade. Chandra continuously grows her role in Kelley's real estate business as well as Selenite Tea House as she aids in streamlining all systems, processes and event preparations to provide a seamless experience for guests.
Jenn Rossman
Chef
Jenn spent the first fifteen years of her career with Springfield Restaurant Group, working both front of house and back and handling all their private event coordination. After the birth of her daughter, she redirected her work into her love of curating delicious meals for her friends and family, and that led her to Selenite Tea House. Jenn is our resident chef and enjoys dreaming up our delicious seasonal menus for you!

The Selenite Tea House was the ideal location for our intimate wedding. We only had 22 guests. From start to finish, the experience was a breeze. We got married in late August, and...

the venue could not have been more perfect! The views were breathtaking, fields filled with butterflies, a serene lake flooded with frog calls and bird chirping all wrapped up in the golden glow of the sunset. The pictures turned out beautiful! The venue itself is masterfully curated, inside and out. It felt like we were stepping into the pages of Better Homes & Gardens. The garden area is charming and needed very little extra décor because it's already so naturally beautiful. The indoor space is equally impressive. It felt like we were stepping back in time! Planning was a breeze thanks to the incredibly patient and accommodating owner Kelley! Every question we had was answered with care, and their on-site catering made it feel like a true one-stop shop. It’s rare to find a venue that’s this gorgeous and affordable without having to cut corners. Our reception dinner under the covered pergola was magical. The chandeliers and sparkling string lights created a warm, romantic ambiance that our guests are still raving about. If I had one wish, it would be to have had more time to soak in the beauty and tranquility of the place. I could have stayed there forever. We hosted my cousins bridal shower at Selenite and it as absolutely wonderful. We met with Kelley who gave us a wonderful testing and walk through of prices before hand and then du...

ring the planning & event Chandra was our point of contact. She replied quickly and was super helpful with all questions! The tea house is naturally pretty and has some decorations available which really allowed most of planning and set up to be focused on our activities as opposed to a bunch of decorations to make it look nice. The food was amazing and dress. They even worked hard to have a gluten free plate made and separate!
