Selina is the absolute best she is super quick with her email and phone responses, super organize sweet and professional. She truly goes above and beyond for her brides and her brides have raves about her with me during our makeup sessions. Book Selina for a smooth stress free and enjoyable wedding day!

I hired Selina as our month of coordinator for our wedding and she was amazing! Even before a month out she was happy to answer any questions I had and give her opinions on things. The month of she totally took over and helped coordinate everything with my vendors and venue. It helped so much to not have to worry about any of the stressful planning details. She helped with our timeline and helped with any loose ends we had over looked. I would recommend her to anyone! She is so sweet and kind, I am so happy we found her!

I have attended two events that were planned and managed by Selina Rose Weddings & Events. Selina was my best friends wedding planner and I attended a large charity Golf Tournament planned by her as well. Her level of professionalism and attention to detail is superb. She captured every detail of my friend’s vision and exceeded all of her expectations. I highly recommend Selina for all of your event needs.

Selina is wonderful to work with! I have partnered with her on many weddings and they are always so organized and efficient. All the details are beautifully thought out and she's a pleasure to work with in the planning phase.

We got married in August of 2018 and used Selina as our wedding planner. Because we were doing a destination wedding in San Diego, we started working with Selina about a year prior to the actual wedding. Pros: - Selina is one of the nicest people I have ever met and she was incredibly easy to work with - Selina had great vendor knowledge and really knows the San Diego market well. Having someone as well informed as Selina made it a lot easier for us to identify a venue - especially since we were only in San Diego for a few days on each of two planning trips - On our wedding day, Selina thought of everything and took all the stress of my wife and I - hard to put a value on this - Selina is both responsive and a very hard worker Cons: - Selina lives over an hour from San Diego, which makes it hard for her to pop in and see a vendor or check something out for you. That said, she was more than willing to come to San Diego whenever we needed her, but it isn’t the same as if she lived more centrally. This was actually my biggest concern with using her. For us, it wasn’t an issue, but something to consider depending on your needs - While Selina was great at finding vendors, if you care about the contracts, which are always very one-sided, she is not going to be helpful with those negotiations. Not sure this is something you can expect from a planner anyway. For us, I was happy to be involved in the contract negotiations In conclusion, Selina did a five star job for us and I would highly recommend her to others.

Selina was our month of coordinator for our wedding on 10/13/18 and she was honestly a god send! She helped everything go so smoothly and took care of everything leading up to our wedding and the day of. She was extremely kind and professional and did everything she could to make sure all the details were perfect and exactly how I envisioned. I highly suggest her services to any brides looking for someone amazing and reliable to help you on your wedding day! Selina-thanks for all your help and for exceeding our expectations! Selina is absolutely amazing! She really made me feel like everything came together and I am definitely convinced that it would have been a disaster without her. The wedding day and weeks leading up to it went so smoothly. She took care of calling vendors, meeting them, getting everything set up, making sure I had everything I needed where it needed to be. And my parents say that without her they would've taken hours to clean up after, but she just - bam, bam, bam - done! Selina is so warm, lovely, and an absolute joy to work with! I would recommend her in an absolute heartbeat!

Selina Rose is an excellent planner. First off she is a very sweet, polite person to deal with, and is easy to work with. Selina has excellent communication skills, and is great at prep work such as summarizing event timeline, supply list, and layout map. She is excellent at following up on e-mails, and keeping all event plans up-to-date. Everything with the event she worked on with us went above expectation. Since we had to deal with inclement weather on the event date, Selina came through with tent, and re-organization in a calm and productive manner. The only thing I can think of as an improvement point from the event would be to have planned for some event trash cans placed around the reception area. I would highly recommend Selina Rose for your next event, and hope to work with her soon again!

We started working with Selina months before our wedding (Full Time Wedding Planner Package). Choosing Selina and the Full Time Package was the best decision ever! Selina is very kind, sweet, organized, timely, responsive, helpful, and most of all she will meet and exceed your expectations. Our wedding size was about 90 people and I'm so glad I had Selina by my side throughout the whole process. There are so many little things that come up during the planning process that you don't realize till your in it. Every meeting we had Selina was present, taking notes, pictures and creating a personal client binder for Bryce and I. She dealt and communicated with all the vendors and made sure everything was to our liking. From the very beginning stages to the Bridal Shower, The Rehearsal, and the Wedding everything went above and beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend Selina and her services to anyone planning an event, small or large, she is an invaluable asset to have.

I just cannot rave enough about Selina! One of the most important things I was looking for in a wedding planner/coordinator was someone who was kind and warm, energetic and a professional. Selina exceeded all of my expectations. Every step of the way, she was just as excited as we were about planning the wedding. Sometimes you get vendors or planners who don't show as much enthusiasm since they have done so many weddings. She was not only upbeat but also so thoughtful and assuring. She made sure all of our visions were being captured and everything was just the way we wanted. And even better, when we didn't know what we wanted or couldn't decide, she offered GREAT tips and options for us to consider to make sure we were happy with every decision! Selina Rose made my wife and I feel so comfortable planning our dream wedding! Selina was the perfect wedding planner/superhero for our wedding. We planned from across the country so it was so helpful having Selina in San Diego to take care of the big decisions and meetings. Here's a perfect anecdote of Selina going above and beyond, which she did all year. A few days before our wedding, serious storm forecasts swept in and threatened our beautiful, outdoor San Diego wedding. Before that point, it was supposed to be sunny. I was not yet in town and Selina took it upon herself to travel more than an hour to our location to come up with a series of backup plans in case it rained. She knew our vision and made sure our day was going to be perfect, no matter what. She certainly succeeded. Hire this woman. She's sweet, a professional, and dedicated to carrying out your vision.

We loved working with Selina!! Selina is such an amazing event planner, we couldn't have asked for a better partner to help us make our vision come to reality. We worked with her as our planner through the entire duration of wedding planning. We highly recommend that because she had everything under control right from the get-go. In the planning phase, she assisted with recommending vendors, reviewing contracts, helping us planning and staying under budget, reaching out to vendors for quotes, coming to vendor meetings with us, setting expectations, helping us research ideas, etc. she was always ahead of the game. She is a true professional and comes thoroughly prepared for each meeting. As the wedding came closer, Selina took charge of covering important details. She reminded us of the to-do list and made sure we were always on the right track with the timeline and budget. We were not worried about missing any details because she always had a checklist going on for us. She didn’t let anything affect her performance at all. She was always available to take our calls and assist with any questions we had. We were extremely impressed with the way Selina took care of the event on the day-of, or in our case, 2 events. We had a multi-cultural wedding, so we did Indian wedding and reception on day 1 and American wedding and reception on the 2nd day. She helped us plan both events at a very reasonable price. Not being from Indian culture didn’t stop her from helping us plan a wonderful Indian wedding. Selina has this knack of figuring things out herself, we didn’t have to give her detailed instructions on everything. From printing detailed timelines for the bridal party, to gathering family for pictures, she made sure things were running smoothly. Me and my husband could enjoy our wedding day without stressing about small details because Selina had our back. Selina is my event coordinator for life now!! Every time I have an event, I am not even going to bother looking for another coordinator. We highly recommend working with Selina. You will be able to actually enjoy your wedding and spent time with loved ones, while Selina takes care of everything else and works her magic!

Selina was amazing! I can't thank her enough for everything she did for our wedding. I hired Selina for "month of" coordination and it was worth every penny. Our wedding involved flipping the space from ceremony to reception during cocktail hour, and we could NOT have done it without her. She was incredibly helpful every step of the way. We were able to meet and discuss the details, she always responded quickly to emails, and always had a suggestion or referral when I was looking for a vendor. Selina put together the day of schedules, personal timelines for the wedding party, dealt with our venue, confirmed all vendors, and much more all prior to the day of! Selina did a great job organizing the rehearsal and working with our officiant to make sure everyone knew what they were supposed to do. During the day of, Selina ran the entire day from setup to flip to clean up - we were ahead of schedule the whole time, and everything looked beautiful. I planned all of the details and decor and was completely comfortable handing everything over to Selina because she took the time to fully understand my vision - and I was able to have a fun, stress free time getting ready. I never heard a peep about any hiccups or issues they may have had during the setup - all I saw was a gorgeous ceremony and reception site. Our friends and family had a blast. I would recommend Selina to anyone looking for a coordinator for their event. You won't regret it!

Selina was the best wedding planner EVER!!! She made everything so easy for us and organized and really cared about bringing our dreams, styles, and themes to life. I didn't even think it was possible for a wedding to go this well, and it wouldn't have been possible without her. My husband and I both work a lot of hours, so it was an unbelievable benefit to have her help and guidance every step of the way. She went above and beyond, was always available, had my pinterest boards printed out for the florist and bakery, set up and came to our vendor meetings, helped us choose the vendors, gave us price estimates on everything, and didn't miss a thing. Selina knows her stuff. There were so many things I just didn't think to consider, but that's where an amazing coordinator, Selina, comes in. I was planning this wedding from another state, but she came through in every way. On the day of, I had no worries at all. I found out near the end of the wedding night that 2 hired helpers didn't show up to help transition the room, but she stepped up and got it done. I was too busy drinking and hanging out with my guests that I didn't know anything had even went wrong. She has great taste made everything GORGEOUS. She is fantastic and was worth every penny.

I've been to my fair share of weddings and I can say that, hands down, Selina Rose has the best events I've ever been apart of. On the first occasion she planned my friend's wedding (Coronado, CA) and as a groomsmen I couldn't put into words how amazing the experience was. Not only did she execute every aspect of the ceremony flawlessly, she made everything simple and hassle-free for all the moving parts in the wedding. I can't recall a single time I had ever been more relaxed and excited for the festivities an event like that entails. I also had the pleasure of working with her later down the road for a wedding photo shoot. Not only was Selina professional and proficient with our allotted time, but she also made the experience entertaining and lively! The set was amazing and she even got me involved with some of the themes for the photo shoot itself. On just those 2 occasions alone, I have already made my mind up on who will be in charge of my wedding when the time comes and it's Selina Rose without a doubt.

Selina was so nice to us when we attended a wedding at Coronado Cays Yacht Club. She was patient with everyone when they took a long time to sit down for dinner, and seemed to handle the pressure so easily. She had a tough job, but organized everything really well, and the Happy couple were so happy with her, they have been recommending her to everyone!! Also, Selina managed to find this awesome yacht club that no-one even knew about, and it's so cheap and beautiful, and spacious! She must be well connected in the industry. She's perfect

Selina was our day of coordinator. She did a fabulous job. She was easy to work with, professional, and great ideas to deal with some last minute glitches. We researched and selected our own vendors, including the venue, but she helped us coordinate things with the vendors. Nothing but amazing things to say about Selina! When I was looking for a coordinator I was very stressed out. I needed someone to keep me calm and not worry about things. As soon as I heard her voice I knew she was my coordinator. She was so patient and kind, always willing to answer questions. She went above and beyond the duties of a coordinator. Selina, Our daughter's wedding planner, Selina was so absolutely amazing.She is a poised, caring, beautiful young lady who can get anything a bride and her family needs done. Selina researchs vendors and provides choices. Once you choose the vendor you like she will negotiate the best prices and set it up. Selina continued this same process with each vendor until every little detail of our daughter's wedding was planned. Our daughter planned about 8 months before the wedding and Selina was available through the whole process. Of course the last few months were the most intense and Selina kept everyone calm, focused and excited about the wedding. We would like to say, Selina did all the planning from Temecula, Ca. and our daughter and her then finance lived in Hayward, Ca. You will be extraordinarily happy if you hire Selina as your wedding planner!!!

Our organization selected Selina to be Event Director for our "First Annual" golf tournament. Our goals were to enlist Volunteers, have a great time, and raise funds. All 3 of those objectives were met and exceeded. What made it even more challenging, was the very short time frame allotted for planning, and implementation. (5 weeks!) Selina was OUTSTANDING at monitoring and managing all aspects of this great event. She maintained real-time spreadsheets of our financial positions (Real vs Actual). She made countless phone calls, recruited and assigned volunteers, coordinated donations, and organized raffle gifts and drawings. She worked tirelessly as the primary liaison with facilities, vendors, golfers and personnel, and she even coordinated a helicopter ball drop over the 18th green! I happened to find out that she even had another big event on the day BEFORE ours, but that had absolutely no bearing on her dedication to our event. Her 2 staff members were were also extremely conscientious. Selina was the consummate professional at all times. Cool and pleasant under pressure. She's a rock star! Need a planner? Call Selina. Selina was amazingly helpful through out my wedding planning. She was willing to go above & beyond of what was in the contract to be of service & help. I was not stressed the day of my wedding thanks to her, she took care of everything.

I didn't want any help with the actual planning of the wedding, I had that covered. But, I did need someone for day of coordination. I found Selina, and it was the best decision!! My now husband fought me on it for a good month, thinking he would be able to set up the venue himself and take care of my special touches that would be taking place through out the reception. He now agrees with me that Selina was a good decision! I hired her for day of, but she did sooooooo much for me than just say of coordination. For the last month leading up to the big day she handled all communication with my venue and vendors only bringing me in when decisions or clarification was needed. She answered all emails and text messages quickly and just made the crazy last month a lot less crazy! The day of the wedding she had it all handled, she set up my entire venue to perfection! Listened to all my last minute babbling about how I wanted things and made it happen. She completely took the stress off of me and allowed me to relax with my bridal party. Even when the rain was threatening my completely outdoor venue, she always stayed optimistic and stayed in constant contact with the venue and fought to keep it outside. The rain stayed away! My day would not have been the same without Selina and her awesome assistant Sara, they are both so sweet and are fully committed to making your wedding the way you want it. I never heard a no, or can't do it from Selina. It was always positivity and a can do attitude! The only thing I would change would be to hire her for more than just day of! I wish I had hired her for the entire duration of the wedding planning process! Hire Selina, she'll help ensure your day is perfect, like she did for mine!

Selina was an absolute blessing on our wedding day. We booked her last minute (well, I considered it last minute even though it was three months before the wedding) and she was incredible. The moment we first spoke, I felt completely at ease and knew that she supported me and my vision 100%. We spoke a few times on the phone before the rehearsal to ensure that we were on the same page. She attended the walk through with the photographer which was amazing since so much of the timing has to do with photography. The rehearsal went really well and she even made adorable customized timelines for every single person in the wedding party. Our florist told me that she was the first wedding planner/ coordinator to ever call her and verify details with her. The wedding was amazing. She completely understood what we wanted and made it look better than we could have imagined. I felt bad because, as I am sure happens, things get changed and/ added last minute, but she handled them very well and made it work for us. (We ended up adding a second banner at the reception and asked her to find a new spot for the original). Everything went smoothly and we keep getting compliments on our wedding. We know that this would not have been possible without the support, kindness, efficiency, dedication, positive attitude, and talent of Selina. Thank you so much, Selina! I had the pleasure of working alongside the beautiful Miss Selina at a venue that I do In-House Coordination for. I am so happy that we were able to join forces and pull off an amazing wedding. Selina is so kind, gentle, and patient. She maintained her composure through the entire event and helped make everything seamless. A wedding day is truly special after all it only comes once in our lives. Having hired a venue with coordinators and planners included, Selina worked with myself, my family and the venue coordinators during the wedding - she even stepped in to help us walk our ring bearer and frenchie, Chester, down the aisle! One of the most important aspects about Selina's work ethic and communication is that she cares about your day and it shows day in and day out. Her genuine personality, kind heart and nurturing character, makes you feel instantly better and more at ease. As a newlywed (recently married on March 13, 2015), I cannot suggest Selina MORE. Looking back, I have no idea how I would have accomplished this great feet with my husband alone. Selina provided the support, knowledge and dedication and in the end, our event was completely memorable and successful! Selina was just our coordinator for our wedding reception this past Saturday 2/28/2015 and I am not exaggerating when I say that our reception ended up more than perfect! She really understood US as a couple and she captured it with the way everything was set up. We had an unusual Filipino reception with A LOT of special performances going on and she coordinated and timed everything so well. Our other vendors were also impressed with Selina's ability to do this. Overall, she did a great job! And I am recommending her to all of our friends who are getting married!

We are a wedding photography team who recently had the pleasure of meeting and working closely with Selina Rose who coordinated a wedding. She is by far the greatest wedding coordinator we have had a chance to work with! She contacted us very early on by phone and was very good at staying in close contact with us to make sure we were all on the same page for every step leading up to the wedding.
