, from the food to the service to the views! The entire team went above and beyond at every step to make our guests feel comfortable, and the professionalism was only outmatched by a magical sunset. I loved that we had the whole property for the day of our wedding so we had time for our vendors to set up, our guests got a private tour of the cidery, and to move our party from the orchard to the tasting room to the tent to the bonfire to the tasting room again! The pricing is clear and transparent and this team knows what they are doing. We were so lucky to have beautiful weather so we were able to take advantage of being outside. Our guests were left completely in awe at how beautiful the views were. We loved that the food is all locally sourced, everything is so fresh and delicious. The food was served family style which was a pleasant surprise for our guests to try a bit of everything. The staff was so accommodating and kept everything running smoothly. Our stay at the Mountain House & Cottage was perfect. It was the perfect set up for the bridal party to all get ready together and take photos. The house was so beautiful and the view gave us some great photos for our first look. Our guests who stayed at the Boarding House were also very happy with their stay, they loved the cozy decor and location! Our wedding weekend was a dream come true thanks to Seminary Hill!

(The best fried chicken we've ever had.) It was such a fun time, in a beautiful setting, (the photos are stunning), and we truly wouldn't change a thing.

Although we did not rent out the entire venue, Kayce was able to shut off a part of the indoor and outdoor venue for our party. We loved that our guests could roam inside and outside, and highly appreciated the little details like fresh flowers on each table. We offered an open bar and a simple buffet with pulled pork and a few sides–and it was a big hit. Every single person raved about the gorgeous setting, the delicious food (the corn bread was a huge hit among our international visitors), and the large variety of local ciders, beers, and wines. We could not have imagined a better start to our wedding weekend! Last but not least, not only Kayce but all staff at Seminary Hill are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We highly recommend considering the cidery for your events and we look forward to stopping by whenever we’re in the area.

simple and headache free. The food was definitely a highlight, all the guests were impressed with the superb quality of "wedding food" served for a large number of people. I'd say that hiring a wedding coordinator for the day of was definitely something we missed, we didn't have anyone to reach out to during the party and that was definitely a downside. Other than that the entire experience was amazing, it was memorable to have all the guests staying together at the property's accommodations & make use of the beautiful living room and kitchen areas. The entire facility is beautiful, comfortable and designed with great taste. Highly recommend.

Bill for all of your help! If you're looking for a beautiful outdoor spot with plentiful space to have a wedding this is it. It was great having our friends stay in the house with us as well, the house and cottage are perfect. We hope to revisit the property again soon, it's such a magical place!

Having the property for the weekend allowed us time to gather with our family and bridal party, which was great given we were all coming from out of state. There was so much flexibility to the site to be whatever we wanted it to, and we were able to add our own touches to all aspects of the day. We absolutely cannot say enough about how helpful Bill (the property manager), Colleen and Shannon (Venue planners) were throughout the entire planning process. They returned communications quickly and were able to help us problem solve any questions we might have. They also gave amazing recommendations, and helped us with coordinating deliveries and drop offs. All of those involved with Seminary Hill were incredibly kind, and made themselves available all weekend for whatever we might need, including things we hadn’t even considered. We were married in the fall, and the views were absolutely breathtaking as a backdrop. Our guests also loved s’mores by the firepit, and we’ve gotten so many compliments about everyone’s lovely weekend away. We can’t thank Seminary Hill enough for making our day so special, and we hope to visit again someday soon!

The grounds are breathtaking and offer stunning views of the Delaware River and Catskills. We didn't even need too many decorations - the site is so beautiful! We loved being able to take charge and have flexibility with choice of venders. The property is huge and offers numerous options for ceremony and reception locations. Callicoon is the most charming town. Our guests loved going to the local coffee shop and walking around Main Street. Thank you so much! We will be back! :)

The sunrise and sunset will not disappoint even the toughest of critics. Bill, the property manager is exceptional. He was there working his magic behind the scenes from the minute we arrived to when we reluctantly drove away.

This place is perfectly tucked away from the quaint little town of Callicoon, NY where you will find amazing pizza, restaurants, food markets, adorable local shops, and the Delaware River dividing the PA and NY boarder. This wedding venue is currently a DIY spot, which gives you flexibility to get creative and make it all that YOU have envisioned! Unlike most venues, you are not required to use their vendors, therefore you can choose your preferred vendors! They do however provide a list of local and previously used vendors to be used as you desire. In addition to having our wedding ceremony and reception at Seminary Hill, we rented out the House at Seminary Hill for a week, to share with family and friends. We enjoyed a few kayaking trips down the river, and walked the scenic path around the property. It was a great little get-away, and a wedding that all of our guests will remember! The staff and owners of Seminary Hill are awesome!! Thank you for sharing this little peace of heaven with the world!

it was the middle of winter and the property was still stunning. When we arrived on site for our wedding week, we were simply blown away by how beautiful the setting is during the summer. Our family and guests were raving about the views as well! The house and the guest house on the property served as the perfect accommodations and most of our bridal party were able to stay right on site. The master bedroom upstairs is truly the perfect bridal suite! Reuben and Colleen were extremely responsive and accommodating throughout the process, answering all my questions as they came along (and there are a lot when you're planning a wedding!). During our wedding week, the property manager, Bill, really went above and beyond. He helped us set up, drove us to the orchard for photos, helped with parking on the day of, put out directional signs etc. We can't wait to receive our official wedding photos, but I wanted to share a few snaps here. Book fast before word gets out :)

ble to enjoy this highly uncommon venue for their momentous day! The very moment we arrived for our viewing, we were 100% won over. Emerging out of this deer studded, wooded area, you enter a clearing; the cabin rises into view, and this breathtaking view of mountains opens up, vast and infinite. It is honestly one of those "you have to see it to understand it" experiences. The grounds are HUGE, leaving you with so many different options and scenarios to create anything you could possibly want for your wedding. There is even a stone fire pit with seating! I could go on and on about the grounds, about how you can watch the clouds roll down the mountain in the morning and back up at night, about the ever-changing view of the mountains and the Delaware River, the private hiking paths that lead you all over the property, and the star filled skies at night. The cabin includes a guest house, which was fantastic for us to separate into bride and groom suites. It had plenty of room to house my side of the family, a full kitchen, and is wonderfully homey from the start. The main cabin is beautifully rustic, with amazing little details that make you feel right at home. The kitchen was big enough for my catering staff to prepare everything, with a huge refrigerator to store their ingredients. The grand staircase leads to the master bedroom, which is separate from the two other bedrooms on the lower level. It has an amazing balcony with a view with the grounds. Rueben was so amazing to work with, as was his groundskeeper Bill. They both worked so hard to help us create our vision, and were so accommodating with our special requests. To sum it up, this venue is sure to be a unique celebration for each couple, and it will give your guests a more than memorable experience!
