I didn't know what to expect when booking my wedding photographer. All you see online is their photos and decide from there... After seeing Seneca's work, I asked her for pricing and more information. She responded fast and was so nice. We booked her a year or so in advance, and kept touch the entire time up until the wedding day! On the wedding day, she was SO PREPARED. She felt like our photographer AND wedding coordinator/planner! She made us feel so comfortable. There was never an awkward moment, as I felt like she was there making sure everything was going smoothly and taking some beautiful photos! After the wedding, we received sneak peaks the next day and then our WHOLE ALBUM online within two or three weeks. I could not believe how fast we received them! Most of my friends have had to wait months before receiving their photos. And let me tell you... the photos were beautiful! I am so happy we booked Seneca, and definitely will use her again for any of our future professional photos!!

There are almost NO words to express how amazing Seneca truly is at capturing the most important moments of ones life. The instant Seth and I got engaged I contacted Seneca to tell her that I would wait as long as I needed too, to get her booked for an engagement shoot (of course I got engaged in the middle of wedding season), she is kind, creative, charismatic, talented, loving, engaging, down to earth, gets to truly know her clients which then turn into friendship's and ALWAYS putting her heart into capturing exactly what you want. Mine and Seth's engagement shoot was nothing short of amazing (of course) but I can not even begin to tell you how absolutely wonderful she was for my wedding! She was there for every highlight, every moment, down to every little detail that I didn't even know I would want until she captured it! And I can NOT forget to express how well she does at making the guys have a great time (because we all no guys hate the picture part) and making them comfortable and having a great time even while being photographed! I don’t even know where to begin with how phenomenal Seneca is. Our story started in a small cafe in Montrose for a consult. The second (I mean literal second I met her) we hugged, and I was done searching for my wedding photographer. She has such a warmth about her that you immediately feel at easy and comfortable around her. Our engagement photos were stunning and she truly captured the love that me and my now husband (still feels weird saying that) have for each other. Then came our wedding day. Seneca and Paul are the dynamic duo and ugh they are so so cute together it made my heart soar. Besides Paul brought me food during cocktail hour so he’s the real MVP. Our photos are beyond stunning and I can’t wait to look back when we’re 80 and show our grandchildren the most magical day of our lives. I can’t recommend Seneca enough LOVE HER.

Seneca was the very first vendor we hired after setting our date! I have always admired her work, and wouldn't have had anyone else there to capture our big day with us. She was so sweet and helpful as we were preparing, was calm and collected throughout our day, was well prepared, and made us all feel so competent and relaxed. One of my favorite parts was that she also had little gifts for when our flower girl and ring bearer took pictures too! We woke up the next day to two previews, and only had to wait TWO weeks to get our full gallery. Everyone who has seen our gallery and photos is entirely impressed, and we cannot wait to continue sharing her hard work with others. We are looking forward to having her there to capture our future big life moments throughout our lives!

If I could give Seneca more than 5 stars, I would! I've known Sen for years now, and she took my senior year pictures in high school. Fast forward almost 5 years later, she offered to photograph my small wedding. The original photographer backed out last minute (less than 48 hours before my wedding), and while it was Seneca's birthday on the day of my wedding, she couldn't have been more excited and eager to be there! Yes, you read that correctly.. she offered to photograph my wedding last minute.. on her birthday! She truly is one of the most selfless people I've ever met, and her beautiful personality is unlike any other! Even on a cold, December day, she had the most warm and inviting energy, making us so comfortable being photographed! I seriously cannot say enough good things about her and her business, and I would recommend her to anyone for any occasion! You are truly brilliant; we love you, Sen!

Our daughter and son-in-law planned a small , intimate wedding this winter. Seneca was our photographer. I can honestly say that there isn’t a single photo that we aren’t completely thrilled with. She captured their relationship in her photos which to me is a difficult thing to do. I’ve been to weddings where the photographer detracts from the ceremony and is a bit disruptive. I didn’t even know Seneca and her assistant were there! She blended in flawlessly and made us all feel so comfortable. I would most definitely recommend her for any of your photographic needs. She is a consummate professional from beginning to end and a beautiful person on top of that.

Seneca is one of the best in the photography business! She photographed our weddings last year (one tiny, one larger). She is a gem! She has such a sweet spirit, very punctual and professional also. You feel like your best friend is snapping your photos. My husband still talks about how she posed our "first look" photos. She was a joy to work with. Another thing I really like about Seneca is her passion and growing knowledge for photography. Over the past year she has watched and traveled all over the world with other photographers, and taken photography courses, as well, to learn more and increase her skill level. Learning how to take photos takes work. She has taken time to increase her skill level. As a result, I have noticed a remarkable change in her photographs. She was a good photographer a year ago, but her photos today are an even higher quality. You won't be disappointed if you have her photographs your event. I would hire Seneca again in a heartbeat!

So happy we had Seneca and Andrew to photograph our wedding!! Seneca is so sweet and you just instantly feel comfortable around her. Her photos are beautiful and look so natural. My daughter, Kyleigh, and new son-in-law, Jon, were married on June 9, 2018 at Trail's End Camp in Beach Lake, PA. Their wedding photographer, Seneca, was absolutely wonderful and there could not have been a more perfect person for that significant role! Prior to meeting in person a year before the wedding date, Seneca wanted to get to know the couple and also wanted to discover what their vision was for their wedding day. It was so important for everyone to develop that relationship and trust early on! Seneca was organized in creating a timeline for the day and helped to detail a list all of the must have photos to capture. Seneca honored the personal preferences of the bride and groom and the freedom to use her expertise and artistry were encouraged for candid photos of the wedding party, guests, etc. On the wedding day, Seneca and her assistant, Hunter, were punctual and got started right away. They were calm and organized and moved throughout the day capturing so many incredible special moments as they occurred. Seneca and Hunter were flexible but kept everything moving along and never appeared rushed in any way. They truly utilized the beautiful and natural surroundings of the venue and also highlighted the spirit of Kyleigh and Jon's wedding. The photos bring to life the love and joy shown between the bride and groom! We are able to relive that extraordinary day through the beauty of the photos taken by Seneca and I definitely recommend Seneca Ryan Co. as a wedding photographer!

Being the mother of the bride brings unique challenges on the wedding day. There are lots of details to attend to while trying to be fully present and available to your daughter on her special day. I found Seneca’s presence to be both calming and helpful. I was familiar with her work and knew photography was one detail I didn’t need to worry about at all. She captured all of the moments of the day perfectly. I can look at any photo and immediately be taken back to the feelings and emotions of that moment. Seneca is so much more than a photographer on the day of your wedding. She is also a therapist and a bridesmaid, going above and beyond to make sure your day is perfect. From phone calls and venue-visits to having over 50 sneak-peeks for me the MORNING AFTER THE WEDDING, Seneca is so amazingly good at what she does. Andrew, the second photographer, was just as amazing. We could not have been more relaxed and comfortable and that truly shows in the absolutely gorgeous photos (that were ready only two weeks after the wedding!) Now that the wedding is over, I’m already trying to dream up different things that I can hire Seneca to photograph for me!

Seneca was amazing! She responded quickly and was so friendly and helpful. My husband and I renewed our vows (after 20 years!) She took all the pictures that day. Pictures are beautiful and artful and the best we have ever seen. She is the best. I got all the pictures I asked for and more! She is amazing and professional. All the guests loved her too! I got many comments on how friendly she is. Will defiantly be booking her for our children's senior pictures too!

The day I met Seneca, I thought she’d be the photographer who’d take engagement photos for my fiancé and I. Instead, she became my friend. It’s not about contracts, it’s about people. She is there to answer any email, call, or text. Your questions, answered. Your fears, calmed. Your pictures, BETTER THAN LITERALLY ANYTHING YOU COULD HAVE IMAGINED. Her photos capture light and joy and I’ve received countless compliments on our gallery.

Seneca photographed our wedding and did a fantastic job! She made our day so fun and relaxing, making it so easy to just laugh and be ourselves in front of the camera. And our pictures were unbelievably breathtaking! She was so sweet and kind to work with...I am so grateful we picked her to capture our day!

I qas Seneca's first wedding that she photographed. We had such an amazing experience with her and have referred her to many close family and friends. She is so sweet and friendly to work with and I felt very comfortable with her as my photographer. I would hire her again to do another wedding in a heart beat!

If there was a way to give zero stars that's what Seneca would be getting. She was hired to photograph my sister's wedding in July and everything about Seneca has been unprofessional. The pictures she took of the wedding are the furthest thing from professional- they are unfocused, people/heads are cut out and she didn't capture some of the most import moments of the wedding. She has not upheld anything promised in the signed contract. It took SIX MONTHS before my sister got her pictures even though the contract promised the pictures within 6-8 weeks. This is after my sister and her husband emailed Seneca on a weekly basis asking the status of their pictures... of their emails went unanswered for weeks and weeks on end. Due to Seneca not abiding my the signed contract, she is supposed to refund my sister a portion of their payment. However we are going on over a month since Seneca agreed to refund some of the money and my sister still hasn't received the refund. All in all, Seneca was absolutely atrocious to work with. She has been extremely unprofessional and the quality of her pictures are a joke. You can get the same quality photos by hiring a child to photograph you special occasion. Do yourself a favor and don't hire Seneca!
