Where do I even begin?? I knew I wanted to work with Seng given my sister and my best friend got their wedding dresses from them. Seng was incredible to work with! Their stylists listen, provide such attention to detail it’s crazy, and the overall experience leaves you feeling so confident and loved. I went for initial style hunting at their former location then went for the real deal at their new space. Courtney was also incredible to work with!! So attentive, able to deal with the many different personalities I brought with me, all while helping me find THE dress. We didn’t know it was a trunk show so when I chose the dress I did, the designers ended up being there and it was such a magical moment.

Seng was great throughout the entire process. Our initial appointment was with Liz and she was so sweet and helpful. I ordered my dress with customizations from Martina Liana and it came in correctly and on time. Kannitha did my alterations and did a fabulous job. I also got my veil and headband through Seng. Thank you Seng for my dream wedding look!

I had the most amazing experience at Seng Couture. Allana worked with me to help my vision come to life and get me my dream dress. she really went out of her way and was so dedicated to helping me find something I loved. I cannot thank her enough for how she helped me. She made me feel so comfortable and was so honest with me. My experience was a 10/10. I would recommend Seng x1000 especially Allana. The store is beautiful and clean and on top of that everyone is so nice. Also shoutout to Anthony for also helping bring my vision to life!

I went to Seng Couture because my cousin who just got married found her dress there, and my family couldn't stop RAVING about Anthony. I found out quickly why they were all so excited about working with him. Anthony absolutely nailed every single part of my dress shopping experience! I had little inspiration to show him, but somehow he gave me so many perfect options, and of course I said Yes to the Dress the first day! I went home and explained my experience to my fiancé.. and then she wound up booking with Anthony and he found her exactly what she wanted as well! The best! I had such a wonderful experience at Seng Couture! I wasn’t sure if buying a gown at a bridal salon would fit into my tight wedding budget, but I’m so glad I took everyone’s advice to at least “go for the experience.” Cathy, the consultant who helped me, was so polite and accommodating. She encouraged me to try on as many styles as necessary to find the perfect dress (even if that meant going over my allotted time) and was careful only to pull dresses that fit in my budget. My mom later told me that Cathy had said she knew exactly which dress I’d choose but wanted to make sure I made the decision at my own pace, which I truly appreciate. My seamstress, Kannitha, was also amazing, going above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable in my gown on my wedding day. Overall, everyone at Seng Couture helped make a pretty daunting experience easy and exciting!

I had the BEST experience at Seng Couture. From start to finish every person that assisted me was so knowledgeable and helped make my vision come to life! Illian helped me find my dress and Pon did the alterations. I added a custom sleeve/back and it looked like it was made for the dress. My mom and maid of honor also got their dresses here and had great experiences as well. The shop itself is beautiful and spacious. Cannot recommend enough!!

Loved my experience with Seng Couture! I had my wedding dress shopping appointment with Armanda. She was very kind, patient, and funny! All the dresses I wanted to try on were ready as soon as I got there. She even pulled more to try based on my tastes and let me go past my appointment time to re-try on dresses. Her, Ms. Seng and Illian also accommodated the dress I wanted. They did not have the overskirt for that dress in stock so they chose a similar one for me to try on so I could visualize it - it was so helpful! It was ultimately Armanda's questions as I wore the dresses that made me choose the one! Overall, they were very friendly, patient, and accommodating during the shopping process. As for alterations, basic alterations are included for dresses over $1500! I had 2 fittings with Pon since my dress fit so well, she only needed to take in a bit of the waist, bust, and straps, plus do the bustle. For my second and final fitting, she went over the bustle in detail. The only slight issue I had was the bust curled inward instead of laying flat on my chest. She said after she steamed the dress it should be fixed so when we came back an hour later to pick up the dress, I tried it on one last time but it was still not laying flat. She sewed part of the cup while I was wearing the dress. I still wasn’t 100% sure so she suggested using body tape. Unfortunately, the body tape I got from Amazon did not stick on the day of my wedding so the bust area still looked a bit off on my wedding day however it is such a minor issue.. Overall I give them a 4.5 as everything went well with them. Just make sure you speak up during your dress fittings.

I personally had a great experience at Seng Couture with Rachel as my bridal consultant. Rachel, is patient and listens very closely to what you are looking for. She does not rush you and she is very knowledgeable about what they have in store. I highly recommend Rachel at Seng.

I had an amazing experience at Seng Couture. I purchased my dress at the old location and went to the new location for alternations. My bridal consultant, Illian made me and my family feel so comfortable, pulled the styles I requested, pulled a few more that fit my style, reassured me and didn't make me feel rushed in choosing. It was my first experience trying wedding dresses and the only store I went to. My mother also got her dress here. Once my dress arrived, I went to the new location for alternations which is absolutely GORGEOUS! The only thing we were a bit disappointed in was finding out that alterations were not included despite my dress and the added pieces being over $1500. Sarha, who did my alterations was unbelievably helpful and provided her suggestions without overstepping. On my last appointment, Sarha worked with me for about 3 hours until the dress was absolutely perfect. After the wedding, I purchased the preservation kit through them and couldn't be happier with how my dress turned out. I really cannot recommend Seng Couture and specifically, Illian and Sahra enough for helping me with my dress!

This place is a gem!! I worked with Cathy and she was exactly who I needed as a consultant. Extremely professional, knew what direction she needed to take the appointment in based on my feedback, she was all business, but made me feel super confident as well. Now, I also have to give credit to Anthony, because he worked with Cathy to find the dress that is 100% THE ONE for me. It was awesome seeing this bridal staff work as a team and make my experience absolutely perfect. Every bride should give this place a shot. So much fun and a great variety of styles. They also put so much on display, which made it very exciting to walk in and just look around. 10/10 for me!

After having purchased the dress, my experience with Seng Couture was incredible! The included cost of alterations for gowns over $1500 was unbeatable compared to other salons. I worked with Kannitha for my alterations and she was spectacular! She is so sweet and made me feel absolutely stunning - taking the time to go over every detail and make sure I was comfortable. In addition to purchasing my wedding gown, my mom, and MIL also bought their gowns here for the wedding. My mom had a gown designed by Seng which came out perfect! The only negative thing about my experience was the actual dress shopping with Cathy. I almost left and purchased elsewhere because of her attitude of overall lack of warmth, however during my appointment Seng came over and assisted which made me feel confident in purchasing from Seng Couture. Overall, I would recommend purchasing your dress from Seng Couture. Thank you to Seng, Kannitha, and the staff for making me feel absolutely stunning!

I had an amazing experience at Seng Couture. My bridal consultant, Rachel, pulled the styles I requested, gave good advice, reassured me and didn't make me feel rushed. When one dress wasn't available in store she pulled a very similar one and when choosing between 2 colors (1 not in available) she took the time to pin another skirt underneath to give me the visual. My 1st and last time dress shopping since I said yes to the dress.

I didn’t know where to start with my review so I guess ill being from the moment I walked in. The energy level in this place is a whole vibe. The staff are so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. I felt it, I knew this place was going to be it! As I was introduced to my stylist ALLANA she somehow made my anxiety disappear in one sentence “Third times a charm.” ALLANA Is phenomenal! I picked 5 dresses l, tried one on liked it, beautiful dress but I knew in my mind I had a look and this wasn’t it. ALLANA noticed it, unlike the other two placed I went to she simply asked “what is your vision?” I was hesitant to show her because in the past my vision wasn’t the vision the stylist had for me. ALLANA’S reply “I going to recreate this for you.” ALLANA Understood the assignment!!!!!!!!!!!! She took her time and her skill and did it!!!!!!!! Her dedication and compassion most definitely appreciated. ALLANA Took her time with me, she said everything needed to hear, she took my vision and made it a reality. I saw myself walking down the isle to my future husband and at the moment I started crying (I’m tearing up now thinking about that moment) I asked her to keep the curtain closed so I could have this moment, a feeling I didn’t think was possible due to previous experiences. There aren’t enough words to describe how ALLANA made my experience all I can say is #priceless SHE UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT! Okay I have to move on or this review will never end. Obviously I SAID YES TO THE DRESS! As I thought that was it I was wrong my experience had a cherry on top I get introduced to this fun little ball of energy YVONE. YVONE has a kind heart and her pure energy loves the happiness of the bride. She took fabulous pictures of my group. Her skill captures the authenticity of your happiness. Her personality welcomes true smiles and laughs! THIS PLACE- EVERYONE WHO WORKS HER THANK YOU! I wish I remembered everyone’s name who I met! The woman who confirmed the dress at the end ( AMAZING ) If you made it this far through the review just know I WALKED OUT HUGGING EVERYONE WITH PURE JOY (and I’m not a hugger). ;) I loved my experience and will be rushing time to go back!

I had a appointment on 2/20/23, when i got there they sent me to bridal, i was there for mother on bride dress. When they realized the owner took me downstairs to try on my picks that i had sent them. I tried on the 4 in 20 minutes and asked was there anything else, since they saw my fit, told by owner, NOPE that was it, she was to interested in the 2 other customers downstairs. Note at no point did i give a dollar figure to spend. There was no limit, i just wanted to look great for my children. I left disgusted with the service, went to Arlenes Bridal in Bloomfield, treated with respect, not rushed and didnt put a clock on my time to buy a dress. Stay away and go to a smaller salon, if you cant make to Arlenes. Also the alterations charges are out of control at Sengs.

Seng Couture was the experience every bride dreams of when searching for their dress. My stylist, Jennifer, was amazing and super helpful. I couldn’t believe I was able to find The Dress so quickly, but it was truly love at first sight.

Seng Couture - 8/10, I didn’t have a bad experience as Seng but I didn’t have the one everyone dreams of. I was pressured to purchase my dress quickly and it had to be taken in one more time which cost additional money which I wasn’t happy about but that being said my dress was perfect to me. If you want the “true” bridal experience I wouldn’t recommend it but they have a ton of selection which was great. I would recommend going to a place first for more of a bridal experience and then head here if they didn’t have what you were looking for.

The best place to pick out your wedding dress 🩷 Hilda helped me find my dress back in February but Sarah made that dress come to life and become mine with the alterations. I felt like the queen of the world on my wedding day ! Highly recommend the staff is so friendly

Seng Couture made my dress shopping experience wonderful! Hilda was *so* patient at my appointment, and helped me change back and forth between several options a few times until I finally decided on the one! Once the gown was ordered, pickup at the new shop location was a breeze. (Worth noting, I did alterations elsewhere.) Lots of gowns at different price points, and a friendly staff with clear communication. A great experience all around!

My dress shopping experience was absolutely perfect however my alterations could have been better. I left the salon with a stain on my dress that I realized when I got home. I brought it back to the shop which is an hour and a half away to be accused of it being my makeup when it was clearly their red alterations pen.

don’t even know where to begin. Recently purchased a wedding gown from Seng Couture in April 2022, and unfortunately, my experience with their services has been nothing short of disappointing. Despite losing over 50 pounds and expressing my concerns to the staff, the alterations process turned out to be a complete nightmare. Upon purchasing the gown, I was assured that Seng Couture could handle any alteration job with ease. However, when I called three months in advance ( more then enough time, they usually say 2 months for a bride) to have the gown altered, my hopes quickly faded. During my first visit, the alterations seemed promising, but as subsequent visits unfolded, it became evident that the alterations were far from satisfactory. During the second fitting, the gown was still incredibly oversized, and sliding down. I expressed my concerns, hoping for improvement. However, during the third fitting, I was greeted with a gown that looked like an entirely different dress altogether. The fit was awkward, with pockets extending down to my knees, and the proportions were completely off. The back of the gown accentuated my back fat, and the breast area remained excessively large despite my explicit instructions.

I had a great experience at Seng Couture! They have so many options and designers to choose from. The store is spacious and beautiful. Nicole, the stylist who helped me find my dream dress, was so patient and I felt like she was truly listening to my likes/dislikes. She wasn’t just trying to sell me a dress, she really wanted me to find THE dress. I also had my alterations done at Seng Couture and the process was very easy. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating; they were the ultimate hype women. I wanted to change my bustle and they did it for me while I waited so that I could take my dress home and didn’t have to come back. I had a great experience and would highly recommend!

I found my dress yesterday and had the most wonderful time with Courtney! She was so kind and understanding, and she made me feel so comfortable. I was quite nervous coming in but she took such good care of me and found me THE dress! All of the staff are so helpful and just so excited to be part of your milestone. A big shout out to Illian for taking such good care of me and my guests too! So many beautiful dresses and such great staff. Love that I get to be a Seng bride ♥️

Seng Couture was recommended to me by multiple people - two of my bridesmaids as they got their own wedding dresses from them, and my future mother-in-law. I decided Seng Couture would be my first stop to try on dresses then. Little did I know at the time it would be my only stop. I said YES to my dress yesterday and had an amazing experience. Anthony was my stylist and did a fabulous job during the whole appointment. He was attentive and a great listener. None of the dresses I had originally requested to be pulled were the one for me. But through asking questions about what I liked and didn’t like for each, Anthony found the dress for me. He was thorough and explained everything with great detail. Ms. Seng’s presence and attentiveness helped seal the deal, too. I’m looking forward to when my dress comes in and my future fittings.

My coworker recommended Seng Couture to me, and thank God she did! I said yes to the dress from Seng Couture when they were still at their old location, in November 2022. Now, they have a beautiful space in North Plainfield! They have such a beautiful assortment of dresses for every style and SIZE, which was a huge plus for me as a curvy girl. I ended up getting a dress totally different from what I originally envisioned, which I think happens more often than not! The staff were mostly helpful, although I do think the girls at the front desk could have more pep in their step. Prices are extremely reasonable, given alternations are included above a certain price. Highly recommend Seng Couture to future brides!

I met with Courtney on 8/13/2023. She was friendly, engaging and made me feel less anxious about trying on the dresses. The salon was stunning. The experience was incredible. Every single staff member was friendly. I said YES to the very first dress I tried on. Had multiple staff members coming over to make me look and feel like my best self. Such a confidence booster being there. I would recommend this salon to ANYONE trying to find the perfect dress. So thankful I didn't go anywhere else!

I purchased my dress from Seng for my wedding on 2/17/2024. Everything about my appointment was easy and exciting! I got to work with Hilda who was so patient and made me feel like such a beautiful bride. At first I was worried that I would never find the perfect dress, but Hilda was so patient and helped me find the one in my first appointment! I recommend so many ladies to Seng because it was such a wonderful experience.

My daughter and I had a great experience at Seng Couture where she said YES to the dress. Upon entering the boutique, you were immediately aware that this was a very busy boutique BUT our experience was very personal and fun. Our stylist was Rachel who we can’t say enough about. She was professional, experienced, honest and genuine in helping Jill select her dress. Although we ended up selecting a dress under $1,500, Seng’s alterations are included for dresses $1,500 and over which is an amazing deal. Rachel provided us w/ the maximum $ amount that the alterations could go w/ the expectation that the cost would be under that amount since we would not be changing the dress much except for the usual fitting. Everyone involved w/ our experience was attentive, friendly & fun. It was memorable.

Just purchased my dress for my August 2024 wedding and cannot say enough about how wonderful the experience was. From start to finish the entire shopping process was an amazing thanks to Rachel. After scheduling my appointment Rachel reached out to me and had me send dresses I would like to try on. When I arrived to the beautiful new location the dresses were waiting for me and we started right away. The entire Seng Couture staff was so nice and helpful!

Purchased my dress for my Nov. 2023 wedding with the help of Illian. Overall, great experience as I didn’t feel pressured to purchase. Illian offered her recommendations and guidance which were much appreciated. I would recommend Seng Couture and Illian to any future brides!

I had the most wonderful experience here, from trying on dresses to the alterations. Kannitha made me feel so incredible, she is a wonderful person to work with. My wedding is September 3 and they made sure that my dress would be ordered and altered on time. I am still shocked it only took me 6 dresses to find the perfect one!

I had the most amazing experience with my stylist, Armanda and the whole Seng Couture hype team. Armanda was able to make magic happen. She was very attentive, and listened to my interests and vision. Armanda sprinkled her fairy godmother dust and found me the dress of my dreams. It surpassed anything I could’ve ever imagined! I had a great try on experience with Alanna! As a petite bride I was really nervous to try on dresses and wasn’t sure how things would look on me. Alanna listened to everything I liked and didn’t like about dresses that I tried on and came back with the perfect dress that I felt beautiful in. I bought my gown September 11,2022! This was my first time dress shopping and I left with my gown! I had the BEST experience! Every employee was patient and made sure you happy! They were NOT pushy at all which I LOVED! I recommend Seng Couture to everybody!

The entire team from Seng Couture is professional and a joy to work with from the initial wedding dress search, go saying YES to the dress, as well as with ordering and working on alterations for the big day. I got to work with Illian and she was so wonderful - from providing suggestions with styles, as well as using her expertise in order to pair up my dress with a beautiful veil. I had an incredible experience for not only my wedding dress but my mothers dress for the wedding!!! Cathy was helping me and I was able to say yes to the dress because of her. I wasn’t feeling comfortable about my body and she was able to figure out what I liked about each dress I tried on and what I didn’t like and that eventually brought me to my perfect dress that made me feel beautiful! She also stayed within my budget and did not pressure me. My mother was treated like a queen and we had such an amazing experience all together.

Our initial sales attendant, Helda (I think?), was nice but I’m not sure how knowledgeable she was overall. I had a vision so I definitely guided her. My purchasing process was very easy because I knew what I wanted and bought the first dress I tried on out of 5 total. The alteration process was very frustrating- I had either 5 or 6 fittings and their one seamstress produced sloppy work, was bothered and frustrated by my very simple requests, didn’t complete alterations we decided on previously and poorly described her work or limitations with my requests. The last fitting was the only time I felt confident and that was with Kinnitha. I wish I knew to request her from the start! She was amazing.

I had a great experience at Seng Couture! I was able to pre-select the dresses that I liked before going for my appointment and Illian had them all pulled when I arrived. This made trying on dresses extremely efficient, and Illian was super helpful and honest about the dresses I was trying. I was able to find one that I loved! It was under the $1,500 required for free alterations, but Illian helped take my exact measurements for length so it would be manufactured that way to save me money. I would definitely recommend going to Seng Couture.

I cannot say enough good things about Seng Couture! Cathy helped me find my perfect dress for my September 4th wedding day. She was witty and her personality really matched with my mom and sister in law who were there to help me pick out the wedding dress. It made the experience that much easier! I also appreciated that they were willing to schedule my alterations in one day since I am an out of state bride. They really work with you and makes the process so seemless!

I had a really lovely experience at Seng Couture. They had me pre-pick 5 styles that I liked before my appointment, and then once I tried those on, my attendant Illian used the feedback to find others she thought I might like. She was very attentive and helpful, taking in all of our feedback and suggestions and showing us how we could alter dresses to make them more my style. She was also really great with making my 10 year old niece feel comfortable and like her feedback was being heard. I ended up going twice and she was with me both times, and it was really great having her help and insight. I am so glad I purchased my dress here. My wedding will be on 10/22/23.

We couldn't be more pleased and satisfied to work with Seng Couture and especially Nicole . She helped me find my perfect wedding dress. She was patient and professional at all times. I found my dream wedding dress here! I had tried a couple other places with no luck. Seng Couture was not pushy and allowed me the time I needed to figure out what felt right. Hilda is fantastic and was so patient with both me and my family! We loved her! She got an idea of what I liked and how it fit my body. She would pull additional dresses I may have not have originally considered, until I finally narrowed it down to my top 2 dresses. She helped me find the perfect dress and made me feel so special, when I finally said "Yes to the dress!" My mom also found the dress she would wear at my wedding here! Stunning quality and color! This was the first salon I visited, and I found the dress! I worked with Ilian, who was great! I only tried on 6 dresses. I was just notified that my dress came in, and am excited to start the princess for my wedding 9/29/2023 !
