Kannitha for alterations. Jessica made me feel so comfortable and was so great to work with as I tried on a variety of dresses. Her patience and kindness meant the world to me. Kannitha came over during my first appointment as I was wearing the dress I selected and automatically made a few adjustments that blew me away. I did also get my veil from Seng which was perfect. I had such a pleasant experience with everyone at the store and every visit was always wonderful. I will always be forever grateful for Seng couture as they made me feel like a princess on the most special day of my life.

Everyone was so helpful and friendly and my consultant Debbie was excellent and kind and I wanted to shop around before I made a final decision. There was no pressure on me at all to buy the gown that day. I ended up not finding a gown I liked more than the Kitty Chen I chose so I ended up going back and buying it soon after. The alterations were done in a timely manner and were perfect. The staff knew me from coming in for accessories and other appointments and it felt nice that I was valued and remembered and greeted like family whenever I went there. I would highly recommend this store. Their prices are very reasonable and they have many designers to choose from and they stay on top of the latest wedding trends. The store is beautiful and much bigger than you might think and you have plenty of space and privacy for you and your friends and family.

to at least “go for the experience.” Cathy, the consultant who helped me, was so polite and accommodating. She encouraged me to try on as many styles as necessary to find the perfect dress (even if that meant going over my allotted time) and was careful only to pull dresses that fit in my budget. My mom later told me that Cathy had said she knew exactly which dress I’d choose but wanted to make sure I made the decision at my own pace, which I truly appreciate. My seamstress, Kannitha, was also amazing, going above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable in my gown on my wedding day. Overall, everyone at Seng Couture helped make a pretty daunting experience easy and exciting!

dress and Pon did the alterations. I added a custom sleeve/back and it looked like it was made for the dress. My mom and maid of honor also got their dresses here and had great experiences as well. The shop itself is beautiful and spacious. Cannot recommend enough!!

y as soon as I got there. She even pulled more to try based on my tastes and let me go past my appointment time to re-try on dresses. Her, Ms. Seng and Illian also accommodated the dress I wanted. They did not have the overskirt for that dress in stock so they chose a similar one for me to try on so I could visualize it - it was so helpful! It was ultimately Armanda's questions as I wore the dresses that made me choose the one! Overall, they were very friendly, patient, and accommodating during the shopping process. As for alterations, basic alterations are included for dresses over $1500! I had 2 fittings with Pon since my dress fit so well, she only needed to take in a bit of the waist, bust, and straps, plus do the bustle. For my second and final fitting, she went over the bustle in detail. The only slight issue I had was the bust curled inward instead of laying flat on my chest. She said after she steamed the dress it should be fixed so when we came back an hour later to pick up the dress, I tried it on one last time but it was still not laying flat. She sewed part of the cup while I was wearing the dress. I still wasn’t 100% sure so she suggested using body tape. Unfortunately, the body tape I got from Amazon did not stick on the day of my wedding so the bust area still looked a bit off on my wedding day however it is such a minor issue.. Overall I give them a 4.5 as everything went well with them. Just make sure you speak up during your dress fittings.

ily feel so comfortable, pulled the styles I requested, pulled a few more that fit my style, reassured me and didn't make me feel rushed in choosing. It was my first experience trying wedding dresses and the only store I went to. My mother also got her dress here. Once my dress arrived, I went to the new location for alternations which is absolutely GORGEOUS! The only thing we were a bit disappointed in was finding out that alterations were not included despite my dress and the added pieces being over $1500. Sarha, who did my alterations was unbelievably helpful and provided her suggestions without overstepping. On my last appointment, Sarha worked with me for about 3 hours until the dress was absolutely perfect. After the wedding, I purchased the preservation kit through them and couldn't be happier with how my dress turned out. I really cannot recommend Seng Couture and specifically, Illian and Sahra enough for helping me with my dress!

on my feedback, she was all business, but made me feel super confident as well. Now, I also have to give credit to Anthony, because he worked with Cathy to find the dress that is 100% THE ONE for me. It was awesome seeing this bridal staff work as a team and make my experience absolutely perfect. Every bride should give this place a shot. So much fun and a great variety of styles. They also put so much on display, which made it very exciting to walk in and just look around. 10/10 for me!

In addition to purchasing my wedding gown, my mom, and MIL also bought their gowns here for the wedding. My mom had a gown designed by Seng which came out perfect! The only negative thing about my experience was the actual dress shopping with Cathy. I almost left and purchased elsewhere because of her attitude of overall lack of warmth, however during my appointment Seng came over and assisted which made me feel confident in purchasing from Seng Couture. Overall, I would recommend purchasing your dress from Seng Couture. Thank you to Seng, Kannitha, and the staff for making me feel absolutely stunning!

As I was introduced to my stylist ALLANA she somehow made my anxiety disappear in one sentence “Third times a charm.” ALLANA Is phenomenal! I picked 5 dresses l, tried one on liked it, beautiful dress but I knew in my mind I had a look and this wasn’t it. ALLANA noticed it, unlike the other two placed I went to she simply asked “what is your vision?” I was hesitant to show her because in the past my vision wasn’t the vision the stylist had for me. ALLANA’S reply “I going to recreate this for you.” ALLANA Understood the assignment!!!!!!!!!!!! She took her time and her skill and did it!!!!!!!! Her dedication and compassion most definitely appreciated. ALLANA Took her time with me, she said everything needed to hear, she took my vision and made it a reality. I saw myself walking down the isle to my future husband and at the moment I started crying (I’m tearing up now thinking about that moment) I asked her to keep the curtain closed so I could have this moment, a feeling I didn’t think was possible due to previous experiences. There aren’t enough words to describe how ALLANA made my experience all I can say is #priceless SHE UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT! Okay I have to move on or this review will never end. Obviously I SAID YES TO THE DRESS! As I thought that was it I was wrong my experience had a cherry on top I get introduced to this fun little ball of energy YVONE. YVONE has a kind heart and her pure energy loves the happiness of the bride. She took fabulous pictures of my group. Her skill captures the authenticity of your happiness. Her personality welcomes true smiles and laughs! THIS PLACE- EVERYONE WHO WORKS HER THANK YOU! I wish I remembered everyone’s name who I met! The woman who confirmed the dress at the end ( AMAZING ) If you made it this far through the review just know I WALKED OUT HUGGING EVERYONE WITH PURE JOY (and I’m not a hugger). ;) I loved my experience and will be rushing time to go back!

I tried on the 4 in 20 minutes and asked was there anything else, since they saw my fit, told by owner, NOPE that was it, she was to interested in the 2 other customers downstairs. Note at no point did i give a dollar figure to spend. There was no limit, i just wanted to look great for my children. I left disgusted with the service, went to Arlenes Bridal in Bloomfield, treated with respect, not rushed and didnt put a clock on my time to buy a dress. Stay away and go to a smaller salon, if you cant make to Arlenes. Also the alterations charges are out of control at Sengs.

If you want the “true” bridal experience I wouldn’t recommend it but they have a ton of selection which was great. I would recommend going to a place first for more of a bridal experience and then head here if they didn’t have what you were looking for.

finally decided on the one! Once the gown was ordered, pickup at the new shop location was a breeze. (Worth noting, I did alterations elsewhere.) Lots of gowns at different price points, and a friendly staff with clear communication. A great experience all around!

sappointing. Despite losing over 50 pounds and expressing my concerns to the staff, the alterations process turned out to be a complete nightmare. Upon purchasing the gown, I was assured that Seng Couture could handle any alteration job with ease. However, when I called three months in advance ( more then enough time, they usually say 2 months for a bride) to have the gown altered, my hopes quickly faded. During my first visit, the alterations seemed promising, but as subsequent visits unfolded, it became evident that the alterations were far from satisfactory. During the second fitting, the gown was still incredibly oversized, and sliding down. I expressed my concerns, hoping for improvement. However, during the third fitting, I was greeted with a gown that looked like an entirely different dress altogether. The fit was awkward, with pockets extending down to my knees, and the proportions were completely off. The back of the gown accentuated my back fat, and the breast area remained excessively large despite my explicit instructions.

ould be my first stop to try on dresses then. Little did I know at the time it would be my only stop. I said YES to my dress yesterday and had an amazing experience. Anthony was my stylist and did a fabulous job during the whole appointment. He was attentive and a great listener. None of the dresses I had originally requested to be pulled were the one for me. But through asking questions about what I liked and didn’t like for each, Anthony found the dress for me. He was thorough and explained everything with great detail. Ms. Seng’s presence and attentiveness helped seal the deal, too. I’m looking forward to when my dress comes in and my future fittings.

have a beautiful space in North Plainfield! They have such a beautiful assortment of dresses for every style and SIZE, which was a huge plus for me as a curvy girl. I ended up getting a dress totally different from what I originally envisioned, which I think happens more often than not! The staff were mostly helpful, although I do think the girls at the front desk could have more pep in their step. Prices are extremely reasonable, given alternations are included above a certain price. Highly recommend Seng Couture to future brides!
