A friend recommended Señor Amor to DJ our wedding and we couldn't be happier that he did. Señor is an extremely personable and communicative professional who has the musical knowle...
dge required to accommodate a wide variety of tastes. Most importantly, he clearly paid close attention to the breadth of our song selection and expanded on it perfectly. We were impressed that he recommended an onsite visit a few days prior to the wedding to make sure that he had all of the equipment and electrical requirements down. His judgement, character, and humor made him the perfect emcee – never overbearing or unable to read the situation or crowd. It was one of the greatest dance parties of our lives and the number of attendees who excitedly demanded a copy of the mix bore that out. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ, but especially to those whose tastes extend beyond Top 40. He'll get you what you want. Thanks for everything, Señor!
As a couple raised on a healthy dose of new wave, punk and goth, we were looking for a wedding DJ that was not your typical “wedding DJ.” The challenge was finding someone who unde...
rstood true alternative music (for example, the distinct difference between “new wave” and “80s hits”), but could also be a great master of ceremonies, and make the whole night a fun, memorable event. Senor Amor is that cool cat. Once you get over his unique moniker, you will find a professional, knowledgeable and sincere performer that truly loves weddings. He is not limited to the above styles of music, and can mix up any musical recipe of tunes – he is well seasoned in everything from funk to exotica, disco to big band standards. Senor really took the time before the event to understand what we wanted, and delivered a perfect night based on our tastes.
My big day had alot of chaos. I had prepared myself for some things to happen, but not a catastrophe. Amongst all this chaos was Senor Amor's shinning light. He was great....beyond...
great. I couldn't have dreamed of a better DJ for my big day. He's so easy to work with. So personable and down to earth. He made me and my family feel like we had been friends with him for years. He was always available for questions/concerns.He always made me feel like my wedding came first.
I started to think that maybe my opinion was a little biased because I was the bride. But days after the wedding I had several messages from my guests saying how happy and pleased they were. I was so happy to hear that my guests had a great time on the dance floor...all thanks to Senor Amor.
He's one of a kind and in 10, 20, 30+ years when I'm remembering my big day, he will be a HUGE part of that memory.
What a relief as yes you know music is really EVERYTHING in so much of the wedding. Senor was a referral to us by some dear friends. They told us that everyone at their wedding LOV...
ED the music and now we are able to report the same. Because this decision is such a big one I was a little nervous at our meetings to decide on vendors. But when Senor sat down I immediately felt comfortable as I truly feel, like his name suggests-he comes from the heart. He really cared about US as a couple and our family dynamics (which are important to know about!) and was willing to answer all of my last questions even down to the last minute. He and his partner were FANTASTIC at mc-ing to! Oh SO FUNNY! Senor did many many things way beyond the call of duty. Till this day I relax thinking about how wonderful it was to have someone leading the show who cared about us, was in love with music and passionate about his job. Really this IS the best decision you will make for your special day. He brings the soul, magic and peace you will be grateful you asked him to help create!
