Bobby Sorden was great to work with in regards to the package etc. DJ was very personable. We had a slide show that was kind of hard to see.
Our DJ, Matt, was by far the best DJ we have seen. He is not your traditional DJ that stands in his booth...he was out there dancing with everyone while his partner was behind the...
booth playing the songs we had on our playlist. Matt would make sure that everything flowed and there was no awkward silent moments. Our family and guests continue to compliment the wonderful job he did.
Also, there was another wedding and their stretch hummer limo died while making a turn which blocked the parking lot for any guest to come in. While the venue and limo figured out what to do, Matt was very accommodating to the groom, groomsmen, and family that was stuck behind this limo. He made sure everyone stayed calm, had water,etc. We can not say enough great things about Matt...he helped make our wedding day very fun and memorable!!
Finally, we called around for a DJ. We talked to at least 10 DJ's and Sensational Sound DJ was the most personable and affordable.

didn't really care, but Matt did everything he could to get people on the dance floor. He was out there himself a good part of the night, doing all the line dances and "gangman style" and everything else! The only complaint was that we had about 9 or 10 song requests listed on the planning form, and of those only 2 were played. I think he was just trying to figure out the crowd and play music they would like instead of our requests, but overall it went very well and we were pleased!
They did a great job for my ceremony, medallion ceremony, and reception.

before the wedding to confirm our requests and walk us through any other details we might have overlooked. They arrived early the day of the wedding to set up. John, our DJ, was professionally dressed and very friendly.
Throughout the evening, John handled the timing of toasts, cake cutting, special dances, etc. perfectly. Even though we hadn't requested many songs, John observed the dance floor and made great selections all night to keep our guests dancing and having fun. Even the bartender at the banquet hall stated that it was the best dance floor he had seen. I lost count of how many people told us it was the best wedding they had been to, which I believe is mostly thanks to Sensational Sounds.
Sensational Sounds had come highly recommended by several people I work with. As soon as we made the deposit, Bobby (the owner) sent us a password to get into his client area where...
we filled out several forms giving detailed information about the ceremony and reception. The week before the wedding Bobby called us to go over the details. While we talked he made even more notes for his DJ to make sure things ran smoothly. We asked for a few songs that Bobby did not already have in his system, but it wasn't a problem. He downloaded them while we were on the phone and played them for us to make sure they were right. All of his equipment is state of the art. For the day of the wedding, he provided a wireless lapel mic for our officiant. His DJ, Mike, set up at the back of the ceremony so he wasn't obtrusive. He was extremely attentive. We had told Bobby that a lot of my family is conservative, so Mike made sure to check with us anytime a request was made at the reception that he thought might be questionable. Sensational Sounds is another group of people that played a part in making my day as beautiful as it could possibly have been.

id not have an actual playlist, just a few must plays, they kept the music going the entire night and even fit in a few crazy guest requests (i.e. La Cucaracha - which turned out to be really funny and some awesome pictures). They called a week before the wedding to go over our playlist and make sure everything was in order. Also their website is the easiest thing to use to set up a playlist and the search options and suggestions were amazing and really helpful. Easiest way to plan your playlist! Definitly meet with Bobby to have him explain how his website works and how easy it is to set everything up.
