One of the most important parts of planning your wedding is the entertainment you select for your special day. This one detail can make or break your event. We have hired Brad Corbett with SSU for 3 weddings now and he most definitely was one of the main reasons that friends and family have said our wedding parties were the best and most fun they have ever attended. The dance floor was packed all night each time with happy party goers! Brad keeps the timeline that you establish with him to ensure the evening goes smoothly and well organized. Brad created a party atmosphere that exactly matched (and exceeded) our wedding plan expectations each time. The music and the uplighting SSU provided set a beautiful vibe for every venue we have chosen, creating the perfect celebration!

Working with Brad was so fun! He was so easy to talk to and would go through songs that would work best for my husband and I. He talked us through our night and helped us make up a schedule. Great at communicating with and worked well with my wedding planners and vendors!

Brad made my very small wedding exciting. He worked at our wedding a couple of weeks ago and was absolutely phenomenal. He worked with us to create the perfect timeline and communicated with us throughout the wedding to make sure it flowed perfectly. Because of Brad, our dance floor was packed the entire evening, making for great pictures and an all around great atmosphere. Brad is a phenomenal DJ! He reviewed his packages with us prior to us booking him and later adjusted as needed. We met with him prior to the wedding to go over song choices and he was able to make suggestions for the ones we weren't sure on. My husband, mother, and myself LOVED working with Brad! He came highly recommended from a friend and we were sold once we first met with him via Zoom. He was organized, professional, and easy to work with. He also accommodated all of our specific song requests for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Brad was a phenomenal DJ for our wedding reception. In addition to being excellent with the music and keeping the dance floor packed all night, he went above and beyond to help coordinate the event and keep us on track. I can't stress the value of that second part enough. Without being asked by anyone to do it, Brad was actively thinking ahead and making sure people were where they needed to be, and when they needed to be there. He helped track down our parents for introductions, made sure those giving toasts were prepared and had microphones, made sure the photographer and videographer were set up in good positions in advance of planned activities, and on and on. Before our wedding, he took time to meet with my then-fiancé and me to make sure he understood the game plan for the reception. He took detailed notes about the timeline, how to pronoun names, and also the music that we like. Our wedding was in September of 2020 so our game plan for the reception changed A LOT in the days and weeks leading up to the big day. Brad was extremely patient and understanding with us through everything, even when we completely changed venue 48 hours before the wedding! Brad rolled with it, and we had an absolutely incredible wedding thanks, in large part, to him. I can't recommend Brad highly enough. Do yourself a favor and hire him for your event!

Brad made us feel so special on our wedding day! He is professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable of the industry and what to expect. He went out of his way to walk us through the steps and set up a plan. He was also an excellent master of ceremonies. When we realized that we needed to switch up the order of events at the very last minute Brad was quick to adapt. Guests were dancing the whole night and had great things to say about the music. Cocktail hour mix was very good. Didn't love all the music choices for dancing but overall he was good to work with.

Brad was great to work with! We were wedding planning in a different state and timezone, and Brad was very flexible with finding a time to talk on the phone. He had great suggestions for songs to help fill up our cocktail hour and reception playlists, and got the guests all excited for our grand entrance! Brad is professional, knowledgable and friendly. He had experience in the venue (which was large with challenging acoustics) and recommended the appropriate equipment to match. Brad accommodated a number of challenging schedules in the pre-wedding meetings and worked tirelessly to ensure he understood every aspect of the event, including symbolism behind the cultural traditions. He was prompt and attentive - a real asset to any wedding day!

My husband, Matt, and I loved working with Brad for our wedding! Planning a Columbus wedding while living in Michigan was difficult, but Brad was so well organized and we made the most of our planning trips that everything was so smooth! He also helped me A TON with the flow of the reception and made sure we stayed on track! The reception was so much fun and we had all ages on the dance floor all night! He really feeds off of the crowd with knowing what to play and when songs need switched up! We had so many great compliments & Matt and I had a blast!

Brad at Sensational Sounds Unlimited was an absolute joy to work with, from start to finish. He was very easy to communicate with during the planning stages as well. We live over 400 miles away from Columbus (where the wedding was), and he was great to speak with to get every detail possible to make the wedding run as smoothly and as fun as possible. During our outdoor ceremony, he had the audio for the music at a perfect range, was very smooth in transitioning from song to song, and also ensured the microphone of the officiant and singer was set up and at a perfect volume. The music he played during our cocktail hour was perfect for the environment, and the music played throughout the entire reception kept the dance floor hopping all night long! Brad was great in helping the whole evening run smoothly, with no hiccups whatsoever. He also didn't try to make himself the center of attention, which I've seen other DJs do at different weddings. Brad was the perfect DJ for our wedding, and we're so thankful we had him as our DJ. Thanks so much Brad!

He has amazing equipment, a great voice, great style, and a professional look. We met Brad at a bridal show in Columbus. He was the very first vendor and first DJ that we talked to. We knew immediately that he was the DJ we wanted from the beginning. He was very professional, organized, and very patient with us. He even went above and beyond to create a 3 song mix for our choreographed first dance. All of our guests were full of compliments of the overall experience from Brad himself, the sound of the equipment, and also the mind blowing light show that he put on. Brad was such an amazing DJ for our wedding! He was very helpful and easy to work with in the meetings leading up to the wedding. We couldn't have had a better DJ for our wedding! Brad was fun to work with and accommodating to all our requests. We got to meet with him prior to the wedding and he was very organized and helped plan a pretty epic grand entrance for the bridal party with songs of their choice. He has a great selection of playlists already set up based on your genre preferences for cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, etc. or you can make your own. He was willing to purchase any other special songs we wanted for our big day if he didn't have them already (Which he had most we wanted anyway!) We did not have a wedding planner for the day, but Brad even helped play that role to keep us on track during the evening with grand entrance, speeches, cake cutting, first dances, etc. As you are mingling with guests you don't want to be constantly checking the clock, and he was courteous and helpful to make sure the evening went smoothly. He had the dance floor packed the whole night with all ages. He also definitely takes the cake with how much he has invested in impressive sound and lighting equipment. We were able to get some really neat pictures from our photographers with his lighting in the background. He is very experienced and has a great, entertaining personality! We can't thank him enough! We booked Brad the very first time we met him! He was energetic, kind, and just as excited as we were for our big day. He listed to every request we had, even purchased specific songs we wanted played! His annoucning was on que and you could tell he was comfortable doing his job. Brad kept every single person out on the dance floor all night, which is exactly what we wanted! We will definitly use Brad again for any DJ needs we have.

Brad was the first wedding vendor I met, and the first vendor we booked after our venue. We could not have been happier with our choice for him as our DJ. We met with Brad on two separate occasions before the wedding to discuss his process and music as well as the timeline for our reception. We were able to get a hold of him via email and phone calls with a timely response. He was thorough with his paperwork. We gave him a pretty wide range of music and he pulled it all together wonderfully. Brad showed up early and set up. His equipment is top notch. The up lighting really made our venue even look more beautiful. He worked well with our other vendors. When it came time for our reception, Brad did an amazing job!!! We were referred to Brad by a good friend and are happy with how everything turned out. He provided the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He did a good night making the announcements when needed and kept the night flowing until we finally got to dancing. My husband told me that he was able to correct a mistake on our part without it being noticeable when our wedding party started walking down the aisle before the right music start. I feel there was a little miscommunication to us and it was not brought up until the week of the wedding which was very hectic time and not something we needed to deal with, which is why I gave 4 stars for service. However this all worked out in the end with Brad doing a great job for our wedding.

DJ for my 9/5/15 wedding. He is so easy to work with. I knew when I met him that he was the energetic, enthusiastic, authentic DJ that I was looking for to have the music fantastic at my wedding! He did the music and sound for my ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception! He did a great job with the announcements and keeping the guests in cue of what was about to happen (cake cutting, etc). He was focused and attentive during our planning meetings, [which I am someone who expects 110% ;)]- and I could tell that he understood what I wanted. He certainly delivered on all fronts, and more! We saw Brad at another wedding and were incredibly impressed. We love to dance and were hoping that he could create a fun atmosphere at our wedding. We were not disappointed! Our guests were so happy with the night and the music selection. The dancing started at 8 and did not stop until midnight. The dance floor was always packed! Brad took the time to talk to us about what we wanted and clarified any questions he thought we might have. He worked well with our other vendors and was incredibly professional! Brad is great & the uplighting he did around the venue took things to the next level. He did the music for the ceremony, allowed the band for the cocktail hour to use his sound & did the music for the reception & dancing. He loves music & was super excited by some of the more unusual choices we had.

Brad's DJ services and lighting were a great asset for our reception! He played all of the requests (while also respecting that there were some songs requested that I didn't want played) and read the crowd really well. People were very reluctant to dance at first, but we all still had a great time. The lighting truss that he brought was the cherry on top of our decorations (without taking away from what we'd done). He also accommodated our wacky requests (from Latin bachata to a sing-along closing song). I am so glad that we hired Brad for our reception, and we would absolutely hire him again! During the planning process, he spend several hours with us on the phone, getting the feel of what we wanted (and didn't want). The day of, he arrived plenty early to set up and be out of the way during our dinner. He was professional and unobtrusive, and certainly didn't try to get everyone's attention on him—although he did manage a photobomb at our photo booth. The music and lighting were top notch, and Brad's professionalism made him the perfect DJ for our reception.
