Words can't describe what a pleasure it was to work with Melanie! Multiple vendors were extremely hesitant to work with my husband and I due to my anaphylactic allergies to peanut...
s and tree nuts. However, Melanie instantly put us at ease with her energy, kindness, and understanding. She made the process so much fun! She listened to what we wanted and worked within the budget from our venue very well. Melanie took our inspiration photos, added her creative spin, and created our dream wedding cake (a delicious, midnight chocolate cake with raspberry filling)!
On the day of the wedding, Melanie set up our wedding cake and made the table look incredible. My husband and I were blown away at our wedding cake as soon as we saw it. She and her team went above and beyond to deliver the perfect cake for our wedding. We barely had time to eat that night, but we both stopped what we were doing to sit down and enjoy our cake. A year later, it is still one of the highlights for us!
In addition to our wedding cake, we also asked Melanie to make a petite birthday cake for my cousin who was our DJ (it happened to be his birthday that night too). She also went above and beyond with that by designing a musical themed cake with notes and an upright mini DJ table. We presented the cake to him at the reception and he loved it!
Overall, we would highly recommend Sensitive Sweets!! The whole team is professional, diligent, and friendly! Plus the last thing you should have to worry about is you or anyone in your party having an allergic reaction!
FYI, if your venue includes a wedding cake, but all the approved vendors won't work with you due to allergy concerns, it is worth asking the venue coordinator if you can use Sensitive Sweets. Our coordinator was very understanding and let us switch with no problem.
Working with them in every step of the way was awesome! From cake tasting, payments, picking items up and what we got - so worth it! Would use them for more life events.
Melanie, owner of Sensitive Sweets, is so upbeat, enthusiatic, and passionate about what she does. Her goal in life is to provide wonderful sweet treats to those who, otherwise, w...
ould not have the same enjoyment as those who do not have allergy issues. Her allergy free offerings are delicious and made with love. They are beautifully done, and decorated exactly to fit with the theme of your event. We needed to have an allergy free dessert table at my daughter's wedding and Melanie made it happen. She set everything up beautifully, and it all tasted delicious. She even provided rolls for us, last minute, when the venue could not accommodate our celiac guests.
Thank you Melanie. You were a pleasure to work with and made my daughter's wedding that much more special.

geous cakes and other sweets. Even for the folks at the wedding were amazed at how wonderfully tasty the wedding cake was. I would highly recommend Sensitive Sweets for anyone with food reactions. Stephanie also come to the venue to set up the cake, decorated it with flowers, arranged the cake pops and other goodies and it was a divine vision of yumminess! Can't thank Sensitive Sweets enough for helping make our day so profoundly special.
I hunted long and hard to find a bakery with a great tasting cake that could make my wedding vision come to life. I wanted a beautiful cake that also had a bit of Star Wars flare...
and they made a cake that made both my traditional mother and me very happy. As for the flavor I shocked myself in picking banana chocolate chip as the main flavor and a caramel chocolate for the extra sliced cake. Knowing that this cake came gluten and egg free meant that I got to eat a full piece of cake without any consequences.
I had Sensitive Sweets do my wedding cake and could not be happier with the results!
I was nervous about finding a cake vendor that could make really nice and professional vegan ...
wedding cakes, as I had a negative experience with a different vendor before I came across Sensitive Sweets. Upon hearing about Sensitive Sweets and reading some reviews, I decided to book a cake tasting with them.
When I went in for the cake tasting I was astounded at how many flavors they offered my mom and I to taste, all for free! Bree, the owner, was so helpful, professional, and really listened to what I wanted. We were so impressed with the quality of their cake that we booked them that day! I emailed Bree photos of the style I had in mind for my wedding cake, and she perfectly executed what I wanted!
When the day of the wedding rolled around, I was stunned at how gorgeous the cake looked. They did such an amazing job of perfectly executing what I wanted, and I could not be more pleased. Our cake was 3 tiers, and we had 3 different flavors: mocha, lemon with blueberry/vanilla frosting, and chocolate. All flavors tasted so fresh and moist, and I got SO MANY compliments on how delicious the cake was! None of my guests could tell it was vegan and gluten free, and many of them told me it was the most delicious wedding cake they had ever tasted.
I could not be more satisfied with Sensitive Sweets, and I strongly recommend them if you are looking for a bakery that can deliver a professional and delicious vegan/gluten free wedding cake! The staff are so professional, and were so easy to work with. I had to make a few last minute changes, and was accommodated without any issues at all. Please give them a try if you are looking for a vegan/gluten free wedding cake, you will not be disappointed!
