September Company

through those photos.  We were drawn to Caitlin and Thad because of their editorial photo style. I work in documentary TV and also hate staged photos of myself, so I wanted a more candid/ docu photography style which they were PERFECT for. In addition to my desire for carefree candids, I also forgot to send them the form that details what I want from my photos, leaving them with virtually nothing to go off of other than “I don’t want to pose,” and they delivered (and then some) nonetheless! They even tricked me into posing a few times so I was able to get a bridal portrait that I was later grateful for.  Our wedding was a day of genuine, unfiltered, love and joy, and they captured precious moments that tell that story better than any video ever could. I am so grateful to them for working with us and adapting to our chaotic ways. I would 15/10 recommend them for anyone looking for a photographer in Nola or beyond.

d he made us feel completely at home. Aside from us feeling incredibly comfortable he also took some fantastic photos! We love these photos with all our hearts, and are so thankful that we chose to work with Sept Co for our special day!

We got hundreds of truly incredible shots of our day! They were super nice and easy to work with and Caitlin even helped calm me down during a pre-wedding stressful moment. Thank you both!!

ating. September Company can accompany small, medium, and big weddings. From day one, they talked about our wedding, our vision, and what our expectations were. Then we had a few calls after discussing further about the reception and overall picture looks that we wanted. They are so accommodating, sweet, and lovely couple. The pictures Thad took on our wedding day captured the essence of the weekend and what a beautiful moment we had. Here are a few pictures to provide what the pictures look like. Definitely recommend!

autifully. Worth every single penny. They’re so sweet and talented. We only booked Caitlin because our wedding was so small. Didn’t think we’d need a second photographer. We were surprised to see Thad there the day of the wedding! We got two photographers for the price of one! Such a nice surprise and so generous. We got the film add on and it’s definitely worth it. Highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed!

nstrated such warmth and an incredible level of professionalism. And (importantly) they are incredible photographers. The photos they took are stunning and just what we envisioned: warm, vibrant, and colorful; beautifully composed; tender moments of the two of us; and moments of our loved ones connecting, laughing, and enjoying themselves throughout our event. We love looking back at our photos, and are so grateful that we hired Caitlin and Thad to capture our special day. We highly recommend September Company - the entire experience and the product they delivered was truly perfect.

hey arrived, they felt like such a natural fit. They have an incredible eye for detail, catching the big moments but also the quiet, intimate ones that we might have missed in the whirlwind of the day. It was incredibly important for us to relive those fleeting moments and details through our photos and they delivered exactly that! Each photo told the story of our day and we love that we get to experience the day through them forever. They were fully present without ever feeling overwhelming—blending into the day in the best way, while still capturing everything so thoughtfully. We loved having them there, and looking through our photos, it’s clear they saw everything. Each image feels real and true to us—nothing overly posed, just beautifully captured memories that bring us right back to that moment. We truly can't pick a favorite!!! We couldn’t be happier with how our photos turned out and will cherish them forever. If you’re looking for a photographer who seamlessly becomes part of the day and is so fun to be around while capturing every meaningful moment, September Company is it! Thank you thank you thank you! <3

ove taking pictures, she made it fun and didn’t have us spend too much time posing for formal pictures. Most of our pictures were candid shots and perfect for us. Very easy to work with and made a great day even more fun! The results were stunning and we couldn’t be happier.

made our wedding day even more special. I'd recommend them to absolutely anyone getting married in NOLA!

our wedding day and made taking portraits comfortable and effortless. They quickly sent us the gallery of the gorgeous photographs they captured, and my husband and I spent hours admiring the beauty, detail, and sentiment expressed in each frame. They captured every detail of our day perfectly, from the moments between us and our guests, to the florals and the food. Caitlin and Thad are exceptional photographers. My husband and I would encourage anyone getting married in New Orleans or abroad to hire September Company to photograph their wedding. You will be so glad you did!

photographers. They not only took beautiful pictures, but they also told the story of our wedding day through them. Every shot was filled with genuine moments and stunning details. We are thrilled with our photos and can't recommend September Company enough! 10/10 all around!

tion to our day. Our photos came in earlier than expected and were everything we wanted and more! Highly recommend adding on film to the day as well, as they are some of my favorite pictures from the day! 10/10 highly recommend September Co., working with them was one of the highlights of our wedding day! ready, to the first look, to my second line, she got it all! Thad and I had a few phone calls and he is great too with getting details about what I wanted and helping make the timeline! Would def recommend!!

eased with the photos and got so many compliments from our wedding guests about how they turned out.

e I couldn’t have even imagined. My now husband and I live in San Francisco while planning our wedding in New Orleans, so we didn’t have a chance to meet Caitlin and Thad in person beforehand, but based on our conversations I knew they would be so sweet and caring and capture the most special moments that we were hoping for. They not only fulfilled our hopes and dreams in terms of photography, but they honestly felt like they could have been part of our lifelong friend group and blended right in to make everyone feel so comfortable while capturing their photos. They even had so much patience for including our puppy in the wedding photos which we are forever thankful for!!!

he French Quarter, they understood the assignment. They were able to capture us on our our wedding day and we were BLOWN AWAY by the photos. RUN, don't walk to book them for any of your events!!!

mfortable? Are you blending families from different worlds at your wedding and need photographers who make everyone feel welcome and seen? BOOK SEPTEMBER COMPANY!! Do you not care about any of those things and just want beautiful wedding photos? BOOK SEPTEMBER COMPANY! Seriously, Caitlin and Thad were so patient with us throughout this entire process (including us changing our mind about the package we wanted multiple times, and walking us through the finances for every option). They are both so delightful and warm that it felt like having two very fashionable friends at our wedding who happened to want to take our picture. They worked seamlessly with our videographer (who they had never worked with before) and with all of our other vendors. The even sent us a little sneak peak of our pictures very soon after the wedding before all of photos were ready. We are so beyond thrilled with how all the photos turned out—they truly captured the energy of the day and we are so grateful. We CANNOT recommend them enough. BOOK SEPTEMBER COMPANY!!!

. We loved the compilation videos they put together and the access to the photos was made easy. Thanks very much to all involved! -Scott T, New Orleans

an overwhelming day. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone in the New Orleans area (or anywhere they are willing to travel to)!

ir work speaks for itself. Yet, it's not just their ability to flawlessly capture the essence of each moment that sets them apart. Working with Caitlin and Thad is just an absolute pleasure. They were with us the entire day, seamlessly blending into the background during moments of high excitement, while also jumping in to provide support when we needed it most. From the early planning stages, they effortlessly grasped our vision and were incredibly easy to work with. We wholeheartedly recommend September Company for their extraordinary talent, meticulous attention to detail and supportive energy they provided on our special day.

ave possibly made us feel as comfortable on my wedding day as they did. As a photographer myself, choosing the right photographer was a big priority for me, so I spent a ton of time looking at options. September Co was the very first vendor I locked in because I was obsessed with their work, heard so many great things from other vendors they’ve worked with, and read all these amazing reviews. They just have SUCH a great reputation in their industry. Literally ask anyone. Every vendor we booked after them were so genuinely elated and relieved when we told them who we were working with. This is all to say I had super high expectations…. And they farrrr exceeded them!!! I’m incredibly uncomfortable in front of the camera and they made me feel super calm, understood, and like I could totally trust them. They really listen to what you want and make such an effort to actually get to know you ahead of your event so that your personalities actually come through in their images. The photos were delivered even earlier than promised and are SPECTACULAR. Truly. I wish I could have another wedding so I could work with them again!!!!!! If it sounds like I’m obsessed it’s cause I am!!!!! Also, all our wedding guests kept commenting on how cute and well dressed they both are. LOL

gined for our big day. Caitlin & Thad were a pleasure to work with leading up to and on our wedding day. They were sweet, calm, cool, and went with the flow (and they were great with our families and guests <3). Thank you Caitlin and Thad for the most beautiful wedding photos that we'll cherish forever!

nted two shooters for our event, and they were the perfect pick to provide the most coverage, in a unique style that fit our budget. We were able to have photos start during the time we were getting ready and run all the way through our second line parade to our after party - so not a special moment was missed! Our pictures turned out amazing and we are thrilled to have worked with September Co. for this special day :)

Not only are the photos absolutely incredible, but also they made us (two introverts) feel so confident behind the camera! Additionally, my fiance was especially camera shy, and they did an incredible job of both making us look like ourselves and capturing such an important day. We both agree that these are by far the photos that are the most “us” of any photographs we’ve ever had taken. Caitlin and Thad also are just generally super friendly and sweet and so great to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer!

elaxed and easy to be around, so we felt like we were hanging out with friends while snapping a glamour photo shoot! I love their documentary-like style of photos. My partner and I are terrible at posing for photos, we never do it, so I was nervous how our pictures would turn out but WOW they turned us into models. It all felt so natural! During the ceremony and reception, they were always where we needed them even though we had no idea we needed them there - sorcery. We got our photos back in less than a month and they were spectacular! All of my friends and family are so impressed with the shots! The wedding day flew by so fast, the pictures let us relive the memories and brought back so much joy. I can’t stress enough how important photography is - pictures live forever and thankfully Mark and I will be able to cherish them forever. Thank you so much Caitlin and Thad!! We hope we can work with y’all again sometime ❤️

ithout it feeling super staged. They captured our day so wonderfully, and we’re so happy with how everything turned out. Plus they are so fun and easy to be around, which just makes everything that much better on such a big day!

ortable in front of the camera and you could tell they were familiar with the space and all of our other vendors which just makes everything easier. They also delivered the photos so quickly afterwards and they were perfect!! If you are considering booking them, do it!

mixture of digital and film, and delivered the finished photos to us in a very timely manner. Couldn't have asked for better!

rned out better than we ever could have imagined or hoped for. They captured the joy and the love and the party perfectly. Couldn’t recommend them more!!

we got back were absolutely perfect, we couldn’t be happier with them. I especially loved subtle and stylish editing of the photos. Thank you!

and a genuine passion for her craft. Caitlin's ability to capture the most beautiful moments of our special day was truly remarkable. The photos she took at the Pharmacy Museum and Jewel of the South were nothing short of breathtaking, showcasing both the architectural beauty and the heartfelt emotions of the day. Her attention to detail and creativity shone through in every shot, resulting in a stunning collection of memories that we will cherish forever. Caitlin's talent for capturing candid moments was particularly impressive, as she effortlessly documented the laughter, tears, and joy that filled the atmosphere. We cannot recommend Caitlin highly enough – she is an incredibly talented photographer who will undoubtedly exceed your expectations and leave you with precious memories to treasure for a lifetime.

ded to work with them for both our engagement + wedding photos. The photos turned out better than expected. Would definitely recommend working with this awesome duo!

ease and felt like fast friends. Our biggest issue now is trying to narrow down photos to print because we have so many that we love. We hope to use them again for future events and would highly recommend!

to know them during our engagement session and already feel so comfortable with them on our big day. The ease of working with them made our special day all the more enjoyable because we knew were in good hands. I asked Caitlin and Thad to focus on capturing candid photos and boy did they deliver! I can't recommend these two enough.

. The best is the business!!!

ted. Every photo they have sent to us is a piece of art! They made us feel so comfortable when we first met them at our engagement shoot. They made us laugh, gave us a few tips so that our photos looked natural and never too "posed," and captured the perfect colors and light in every shot. In the months leading up to our wedding I even asked for some vendor recommendations and opinions as we went through the planning process, which was so kind of them to provide. For our wedding, they were even more perfect. Thad was with my husband to capture all the getting ready moments on the day of, and Caitlin was with me (the bride). Both made us each feel super comfortable, and were so kind to our families. The photos that came back to us (much sooner than expected, I should add!) are all so gorgeous. They are the perfect mix of fun, romantic, moody, exciting....we couldn't have asked for anything better.

ile staying very much “behind the scenes.” Nothing was staged or cheesy, just a totally genuine reflection of our special day. As for our engagement, they somehow made photos taken in the pouring rain look good. I get so many compliments to this day from people saying they wish they could recreate those photos, but it was truly a moment that can’t be replicated, and they managed to capture it beautifully. For our wedding, they were very responsive and helped answer my many questions as I did not have a planner and felt like I didn’t know what I was doing lol. Would highly recommend them for weddings, engagements, or even just family photos. They are a truly talented couple and were professional and easy to work with.

final photo collection was everything we hoped for and more, lots of photographs that are both heartwarming/ natural and artistically stunning. Each time we look at it there is a new favorite.

city. From the get-go, Caitlin and Thad supported us, recommending everything from wedding locations to places to eat and drink through NOLA. The day-of, the two of them greeted us warmly and immediately had us laughing and comfortable. They captured our candid joy, excitement, and general awe with grace and style. They truly made our day extra special. If we did it all over again, we wouldn't change a thing. If you're looking for an elopement photographer who specializes in storytelling and personality, look no further than September Company.

love with their work and style of photography when we first came across it as we were searching for venues online; all their photos were so genuine, full of emotion, and beautiful. After speaking with them on the phone, there was very little question that they were the right photographers for us and even though they were initially above what we had budgeted, we make some changes since we knew we would have regretted not hiring them. Since we were planning a destination wedding, we did not get to meet Caitlin and Thad in person until our wedding day but they were both so laid back, easy to be around, and friendly it put us immediately at ease and we had so much fun doing our couples' portraits. They managed to create the perfect balance of relaxed environment and giving directions especially for people who are not used to being photographed. They even helped transport some of our flowers to the venue, really going above and beyond what they needed to do and helped make the day less stressful. We really wanted to be as present as possible for the reception and not be pulled away from our family and friends for too long and they did an amazing job with timing some special moments throughout the evening for additional photos without it seeming like we were missing out on the celebrations. Our wedding album exceeded our expectations and our families loved it as well. Even months after the wedding, when I was putting together an album to be printed, Thad was so helpful and available to answer questions via email. I can't express my gratitude at having such wonderful memories of our special day.

k Vegas style chapel but in the French Quarter). Caitlin met us at our Airbnb prior to the ceremony and took some beautiful getting ready shots. We all walked together to the chapel, only to find it locked up, lights off. A call to to the proprietor revealed that they had written down the wrong date and time for our ceremony. Unphased, Caitlin offered to wait with us until the officiant arrived so she could capture the event at no extra charge. Thank you so much September Co. for saving the day!

h family and friends. Not only was the planning experience so seamless, but our day went so smoothly as they know New Orleans in and out and all of the best spots for photos. The photos were beyond anything I could have expected. I cannot say enough kind words about the September Company. They are truly the best. I hope to have them photograph more of our life's moments in the future!

get that is so so important! We started working with Caitlin and Thad early on into our wedding planning process, from the introductory phone call we knew that we wanted this duo to photograph our wedding day! Our engagement session with them was perfect and we received the most incredible photos back from them (way faster than expected). From that point on I was so excited to see the finished work from them for the wedding! Their style of photography is so unique and the composition of photos is so playful. On our wedding day, they were with us every step of the way! They captured the smallest details to the big shots of the day perfectly. Getting the pictures back allowed us to relive the best day of our lives over and over again. If you’re looking for a talented duo, The Septembers are your people!
