This is such an embarrassingly late review from our wedding at the end of October but Caitlin and Thad are THE best duo of all time, the dream team, and the only people who could have possibly made us feel as comfortable on my wedding day as they did. As a photographer myself, choosing the right photographer was a big priority for me, so I spent a ton of time looking at options. September Co was the very first vendor I locked in because I was obsessed with their work, heard so many great things from other vendors they’ve worked with, and read all these amazing reviews. They just have SUCH a great reputation in their industry. Literally ask anyone. Every vendor we booked after them were so genuinely elated and relieved when we told them who we were working with. This is all to say I had super high expectations…. And they farrrr exceeded them!!! I’m incredibly uncomfortable in front of the camera and they made me feel super calm, understood, and like I could totally trust them. They really listen to what you want and make such an effort to actually get to know you ahead of your event so that your personalities actually come through in their images. The photos were delivered even earlier than promised and are SPECTACULAR. Truly. I wish I could have another wedding so I could work with them again!!!!!! If it sounds like I’m obsessed it’s cause I am!!!!! Also, all our wedding guests kept commenting on how cute and well dressed they both are. LOL

As a "destination" couple planning our wedding in New Orleans from NYC, we couldn't have been happier with our selection of Caitlin + Thad as our wedding photographers. I knew I wanted two shooters for our event, and they were the perfect pick to provide the most coverage, in a unique style that fit our budget. We were able to have photos start during the time we were getting ready and run all the way through our second line parade to our after party - so not a special moment was missed! We asked the September Company to do our elopement photography, and really just found them off google being from out of the area. They went above and beyond what we were expecting. Not only are the photos absolutely incredible, but also they made us (two introverts) feel so confident behind the camera! Additionally, my fiance was especially camera shy, and they did an incredible job of both making us look like ourselves and capturing such an important day. We both agree that these are by far the photos that are the most “us” of any photographs we’ve ever had taken. Caitlin and Thad also are just generally super friendly and sweet and so great to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer!

Caitlin and Thad blew all expectations out of the water for our wedding photography. They’re really sweet people and made my partner and I feel so special on our big day. They’re relaxed and easy to be around, so we felt like we were hanging out with friends while snapping a glamour photo shoot! I love their documentary-like style of photos. My partner and I are terrible at posing for photos, we never do it, so I was nervous how our pictures would turn out but WOW they turned us into models. It all felt so natural! During the ceremony and reception, they were always where we needed them even though we had no idea we needed them there - sorcery. We got our photos back in less than a month and they were spectacular! All of my friends and family are so impressed with the shots! The wedding day flew by so fast, the pictures let us relive the memories and brought back so much joy. We loved working with Caitlin and Thad! We aren’t the most comfortable in front of the camera, so it was important that we have photographers who could capture the little moments without it feeling super staged. They captured our day so wonderfully, and we’re so happy with how everything turned out. Plus they are so fun and easy to be around, which just makes everything that much better on such a big day!

We hired September Company for our engagement session in May 2022 and then for our wedding in March 2023. Caitlin and Thad are the absolute sweetest team to work with, and SO talented. Every photo they have sent to us is a piece of art! They made us feel so comfortable when we first met them at our engagement shoot. They made us laugh, gave us a few tips so that our photos looked natural and never too "posed," and captured the perfect colors and light in every shot. In the months leading up to our wedding I even asked for some vendor recommendations and opinions as we went through the planning process, which was so kind of them to provide. For our wedding, they were even more perfect. Thad was with my husband to capture all the getting ready moments on the day of, and Caitlin was with me (the bride). Both made us each feel super comfortable, and were so kind to our families. The photos that came back to us (much sooner than expected, I should add!) are all so gorgeous. They are the perfect mix of fun, romantic, moody, exciting....we couldn't have asked for anything better.

Caitlin and Thad were amazing! They did our proposal photos and we loved them so much that we hired them for our wedding. They captured all of the most candid and tender moments while staying very much “behind the scenes.” Nothing was staged or cheesy, just a totally genuine reflection of our special day. As for our engagement, they somehow made photos taken in the pouring rain look good. I get so many compliments to this day from people saying they wish they could recreate those photos, but it was truly a moment that can’t be replicated, and they managed to capture it beautifully. For our wedding, they were very responsive and helped answer my many questions as I did not have a planner and felt like I didn’t know what I was doing lol. Would highly recommend them for weddings, engagements, or even just family photos. They are a truly talented couple and were professional and easy to work with.

Caitlin and Thad are truly the best!! Having them/September Company photograph our wedding was probably the best decision we made throughout the entire planning process. We fell in love with their work and style of photography when we first came across it as we were searching for venues online; all their photos were so genuine, full of emotion, and beautiful. After speaking with them on the phone, there was very little question that they were the right photographers for us and even though they were initially above what we had budgeted, we make some changes since we knew we would have regretted not hiring them. Since we were planning a destination wedding, we did not get to meet Caitlin and Thad in person until our wedding day but they were both so laid back, easy to be around, and friendly it put us immediately at ease and we had so much fun doing our couples' portraits. They managed to create the perfect balance of relaxed environment and giving directions especially for people who are not used to being photographed. They even helped transport some of our flowers to the venue, really going above and beyond what they needed to do and helped make the day less stressful. We really wanted to be as present as possible for the reception and not be pulled away from our family and friends for too long and they did an amazing job with timing some special moments throughout the evening for additional photos without it seeming like we were missing out on the celebrations. Our wedding album exceeded our expectations and our families loved it as well. Even months after the wedding, when I was putting together an album to be printed, Thad was so helpful and available to answer questions via email. I can't express my gratitude at having such wonderful memories of our special day.

I couldn't be happier with the photos, service, and communication that Caitlin and Thad provided, and I recommend them wholeheartedly. We eloped at the French Quarter Chapel (think Vegas style chapel but in the French Quarter). Caitlin met us at our Airbnb prior to the ceremony and took some beautiful getting ready shots. We all walked together to the chapel, only to find it locked up, lights off. A call to to the proprietor revealed that they had written down the wrong date and time for our ceremony. Unphased, Caitlin offered to wait with us until the officiant arrived so she could capture the event at no extra charge. Thank you so much September Co. for saving the day!

Caitlin and Thad helped us capture the elopement of our dreams in New Orleans. Capturing every sentimental moment of our tiny elopement was so important to us so we could share with family and friends. No words! Caitlin and Thad traveled from New Orleans to Birmingham, AL for our daughter’s wedding. They are both so gracious and kind, super easy to work with. And the level of talent is beyond, our photos are beautiful and artistic, they caught moments that were so special. Super intuitive. I feel like an advantage that September Company has is that they can split up, Thad with the guys and Caitlin with the bride and her maids as they get ready. The girls loved Caitlin because she is so darn adorable and unobtrusively steps in at just the right moment. Thad is great with the guys. I overheard a groomsmen say “that dude is cool. He’s the least annoying wedding photographer I’ve ever been around”! No one likes to be barked at and they are not like that at all! They handled this large wedding party so well. Caitlin and Thad at September Company are more than just another wedding vendor. Beginning with our initial discussions they were eager to meet us and get an idea of our personality and the vibe of the wedding. I appreciate them taking the effort to honestly decide if we were going to be a good fit for each other’s expectations. Throughout the process they kept in touch, and as the wedding neared we had a catch up call and communicated a shot list, although we totally trusted their creative eye. What sets them apart is their dedication, level of detail, and warm personalities. We eloped at a park and they arrived early to scope out the best locations for the ceremony and pictures.. They made us feel comfortable and we are two people who are not generally comfortable in front of a camera. We were coming from out of state, so Caitlin sent me a list of 30 or so recommendations for restaurants and various things to do in the city. They genuinely care about their clients and it shows. Caitlin and Thad gave us much more than beautiful photos of our elopement, they provided the most relaxed and fun environment for us to create memories and enjoy our day. They have the perfect mix of creativity, professionalism, and fun to ease nerves and help you feel your most beautiful and special. They went above and beyond by helping us with excellent vendor recommendations, meeting with us to talk through our vision/schedule for the day, and helping us with logistics day of. They are such a great team and compliment each other well especially when it comes to helping pose and position to capture you and your partner’s best angles. It was great having them work as a team and with us individually as we got ready separately. We loved working with them and enjoyed getting to be with two fun/cool people during our elopement day!

They were SO helpful throughout the entire process of wedding planning -- from coming up with our timeline, allowing us to be ourselves while taking pictures together, running the show during our wedding day, and making everyone feel welcome, comfortable, and lively. We were also so grateful we did an engagement session with them, as it allowed us to see just how perfect and wholesome they were at their work. They are full of peace and joy that we couldn't help but have such an enjoyable experience. Neither one of us even like taking pictures, but they made everything so fun and natural! I’d like to start by saying it would be nearly impossible to summarize how beautiful my wedding day was because of these two amazing human beings. I had dreamed of this day for so long, and because of Caitlin and Thad, I have nothing but the most beautiful photos to look back on. I go through these pictures every few days STILL because of how much emotion, beauty, and love was captured. When we first met the day of our elopement, I felt instantly comfortable and happy.
