We had our wedding at Sequoia Mansion on August 23, 2024. Planning a wedding in 5 1/2 months wasn’t easy but, I would have never been able to do it without the staff at Sequoia Mansion. You guys really made it so stress free. It was the most magical night. Our wedding has been the topic of all conversations lately and I’m sure it will continue to be. Everyone is telling us it was, “the best wedding they’ve ever been to.”
All of our guests were raving how wonderful the food was compared to any other wedding they’ve ever experienced. Steven was the best DJ ever, so great to work with and exactly what we wanted for our playlist! Willow was the absolute sweetest and really helped me feel calm before I walked down the aisle. Our photographer was the coolest guy ever and was so fun to work with, we can’t wait to see our picture! Shoutout to the bar staff for being so attentive to our guests and having such a fast service for all the heavy traffic at the bar!
Amy was so understanding on exactly what we wanted and made this whole experience so amazing. It really felt like working with friends and it just made our experience that much more special. My father in law said that my husband and I should renew our vows there in 20 years and have a big bash like that all over. That’s how much people enjoyed themselves.
The whole team will take care of you like their life depends on it. They take their job very serious and will go above and beyond. The Dj, the coordinator, the kitchen, and especially the sales team that would reply to my hundreds of new requests. They made sure all my vendors were taken care of with food so I wouldn’t have to and they made sure everything was on schedule. The communication was everything.
Had the absolute best experience from the beginning to the end with Sequoia! Amy was such a kind and helpful coordinator and took care of all of our needs. My husband and I had the most perfect wedding day and have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience at Sequoia. They truly made us feel like royalty. And the prices were very reasonable. Would recommend this place to anyone!

We got married at Sequoia Mansion in March 2024 and seriously had the best experience. This review is coming a little later than I planned originally but we are beyond happy that we decided to go through Wedgewood for our wedding planning. Everyone on the team is a true professional. The whole experience was seamless and my guests had an amazing time. Not to mention the food was ON POINT. If I could get married again, I would choose Wedgewood and sequoia mansion all over again
Everyone was very flexible and accommodating. I really did not have to worry about a single thing on the day of my wedding. The planning process was a breeze. They give you a timeline for everything.
Compared to a lot of other venues, Sequoia Mansion was affordable and my whole family and I were very impressed with the staff’s professionalism and expertise.
I can confidently say my wedding went essentially perfectly. There were a few miscommunications on my end and my wedding coordinator had already thought of a backup plan ahead of time and fixed the issues pretty much immediately, as if they never happened.
We didn’t have a clear vision for our wedding, just a theme and some vague ideas. The coordinator, DJ, florist, and baker somehow brought our vague ideas to life and I still can’t get over how beautifully everything came together.
Also the food was delicious! I highly recommend the garlic mashed potatoes!!
I am the wedgewood Sequoia Mansion florist and have been for 12 years. Last week we had six weddings with a unprecedented relentless storm headed our way.I was not worried about the weddings we had at Wedgewood Sequoia,Because they have indoor/outdoor facilities.The planned outdoor ceremony on the Victorian brick patio was brought in to the beautiful veranda sun porch.Our other brides not so lucky.Two of them had outdoor with no back up plan other than brought in tents,which do nothing but create a mud mess .I know when I arrive at Wedgewood the tables are set up the linens are on the staff is cleaning and we are like living in the movie Beauty and The Beast. Be our guest.We work together as a team.If I forget something,It happens,I will get a text from Wedgewood staff and the error corrected immediately.That is crucial to a wedding.Choose Wedgewood.
Everything was wonderful! The food, decorations, flowers, ALL staff, and of course the venue was stunning. It ended up raining all day but we moved everything inside and had a great time!
My wedding reception at the Sequoia Mansion was everything I wanted and more! The staff was absolutely incredible, both leading up to the big day and on the day itself. Amy, our Event Expert, made the planning process so easy and so enjoyable. From decor to timelines to the buffet menu, Amy ensured that my husband and I had everything we needed, and gave us so many wonderful ideas along the way. She even worked with our photographer to present us with a framed photo of our first kiss from our ceremony just hours before, which was so sweet and thoughtful!
We attended the Mansion's Wedding Faire about six months before our wedding, as well, so we got to meet all of their amazing vendors (photographer, florist, baker, etc.), tour the venue, and really envision what our wedding day would be like, which was extremely helpful. Both then and on the day of our wedding, the food was absolutely delicious, the bartender made us fantastic cocktails, and the DJ ensured we stuck to our timeline -- while also making sure we enjoyed ourselves. Members of the Sequoia Mansion team checked on us periodically throughout the entire evening to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied, without being overbearing. I never once felt stressed or disappointed, and I was able to focus on celebrating with my loved ones without any distractions.
Perhaps one of my favorite features about the Sequoia Mansion was the family-feel of its environment. Not only did the staff feel like family, but our own families were able to enjoy one another's company without feeling crammed into a small space. We had about 125 guests attend, and there was plenty of room for us to mingle, dance, and sit comfortably at dinner, but the space didn't feel overwhelmingly large either. My husband and I even got to take about an hour's worth of photos around the venue while our guests attended cocktail hour, which was so nice for everybody involved (there are so many beautiful places around the property to take photos, both inside and outside).
I couldn't have asked for a better experience with the Sequoia Mansion. They made my wedding day truly magical, and my husband and I will be forever grateful to them for all of their efforts and kindness.
I can't believe how perfectly everything went. We didn't have a lot of time to plan, so we went with all the recommended vendors from Wedgewood, and they were all fabulous: the flowers, the cake, DJ, photo booth and officiant. They were all superb. Amy (our wedding coordinator with the venue) was very organized, responsive and helpful. The setting is lovely, especially if you like the old, antique style. The food (also the venue's preferred vendor) was incredible, and was accommodating to our vegetarian and gluten free guests. I would absolutely recommend the venue and all their preferred venues, it was smooth, touching, and super fun.

Our daughter got married at the Sequoia Mansion this past Saturday and I can't say enough about this venue and the staff. This is an all-inclusive venue which makes planning simple and easy. Each and every vendor we dealt with was professional and helpful. From the moment we pulled up a year ago to visit the property, to seeing it all come together this past weekend the process was seamless and smooth. Upon signing the contract, we received a binder full of information and recommendations for every part of the wedding. Amy was by our side the whole way guiding us through the process and answering all of our questions in a timely manner. She went above and beyond on the wedding day, making sure that everything met our expectations and that all of our needs were being met. She even arranged for a plate of appetizers and drinks for my daughter and son-in-law to be in the bride room prior to their introduction in the ball room.
The food spread was absolutely incredible. There were eight different salads, salmon, tortellini, prime rib, roasted vegetables, garlic mashed potatoes, and rolls and butter. We had so many compliments on the food. The full bar and bartender were also top notch. The beautiful wedding cake by Frank Vilts Cakes was so delicious and a favorite of our guests as well. DJ Steve kept the party going. The entire staff is so professional and attentive.
I can't say enough about our experience at the Sequoia Mansion. I would highly recommend this venue for your special day.
This venue is absolutely amazing. First of all, the site is a historic beautiful house with tons of original pieces like stained glass and hardware on doors. It feels like you're stepping back in time. The fact that it is an all-inclusive wedding made the planning a breeze. Every aspect was top notch, the food/dessert was amazing, decorations were beautiful, the drinks were flowing (so many of our guests said "that bartender was amazing!!!"), DJ Steve absolutely crushed the dance party.
They made the entire process straightforward and we knew exactly what the next steps were, how much everything would cost, and what our big day would look like. At the beginning of the process they send a binder with SO much great info that was extremely helpful to plan our big day. The staff was SO accommodating, we would ping them constantly with questions and they would respond quickly with detailed answers or a link for a Zoom call. They are truly pros at this. They made suggestions around our ceremony, order of events, where to do pictures, it took all the stress of the unknown out and made it be the best day of our lives, especially since we planned our wedding in about 6 months.
We cannot recommend and thank Sequoia Mansion and their staff enough (especially Amy, you freaking rule!!!). It was a perfect day, all of our guests had an amazing time, and we loved every second of our day and it was all thanks to the beautiful venue and the wonderful staff at Sequoia.
If you are looking for a beautiful venue that takes all the stress of planning the minutia of a wedding away, I highly recommend Sequoia Mansion. You will not regret it!!!
Wedgewood at Sequoia is simply amazing the staff was incredibly helpful and so responsive. We used all their recommended vendors and we were not disappointed. The grounds are lovely and holds the most beautiful vintage charm. I would love to go back and do it all over again just because it is so perfect. The ballroom was the perfect size for our guests and dancing. The rooms to get ready in are more than spacious. A really helpful aspect is being able to add or change or update the things we wanted to make it truly ours. I highly recommend this venue and Wedgewood.
Saying I do at Sequoia Mansion was like stepping into a storybook. The venue's history and atmosphere felt like we were in Bridgerton for the day - we both loved it and our guests were super happy with the whole day from the food, to the weather, to the DJ, and of course hearing our vows :)
Wedgewood is THE PLACE to have your wedding! We planned our wedding from out of state and so after our engagement, I had to find a venue in California right away before returning home to WA. I had my mind set on another venue but wanted to make sure I looked at one other place just in case they were booked or didn't match my expectations. Thank goodness I found Wedgewood's Sequoia Mansion and thank goodness it was so easy to book a walk-through. Absolutely every detail from that walkthrough to the end of the event was perfection. We and our guests all agree it was a phenomenal wedding plus it was stress-free the entire time because of how well-organized Wedgewood is. I can't recommend them enough!
Sequoia Mansion was absolute perfection. The professionalism, communication, and service was impeccable. At any time I reached out to the venue, I heard back on the same day. Often times, I heard back within the hour. Rachel was our day of coordinator and Willow was the banquet captain. Both were so professional and ensured the day was flawless. I had it in my mind that something would go "wrong" (because there are always hiccups at weddings) but there honestly wasn't. It was a seamless experience. I think one of the benefits of working with Wedgewood is that they have so many preferred vendors that work together all the time, that it makes for a well-oiled machine. Plus, I didn't have to coordinate with so many people. I really only coordinated with Wedgewood, which took a huge headache out of wedding planning! The food was incredible and came with so many options to choose from. I cannot recommend the team at Sequoia Mansion enough. Their entire staff is incredible, but if you can, ask for Rachel and Willow. By the end of the planning process and the wedding, I felt like they were more like friends to me than employees there! It was such a wonderful experience.
10/10 would recommend!! This venue is so beautiful and the team that works here is amazing, they walk with you every step of the way and always make time for any questions you have. There is a bar inside and all the catering is done in house so that's two less things you have to worry about on your wedding planning plate. They are also partnered with some local vendors for the Cake and Florist/Decorations that i also highly recommend- Frank Vilt does an amazing job and is a vendor with them for a reason, his desserts are always gorgeous and delicious. Dottie makes beautiful floral arrangements and her sister company does gorgeous decorations. If you have any reservations about working with their chosen vendors, toss them out the window because this company is so professional and they only work with other processionals that love what they do. The food made in house is amazing, they have mutliple different options along with vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free options as well. They also provide bottle service during dinner for you and your guests but the in house bar is beautiful and the bartender really knows her stuff. This venue has gorgeous interior and exterior design with so many neat places to take photos. The team they have at this location are spot on, know how to do their jobs and do them well. We would have been way more stressed without them!
We had an amazing experience with Wedgewood at Sequoia mansion. The planning process was as easy as it gets, the staff is incredibly helpful and keeps you on track of all items to be done! The day of our wedding was magical. Literally everything went perfectly. The staff was on it and so amazing. We got lots of compliments on the food/bar from our guests. We were blown away with the amount of food options we got and the quality of the food. It was phenomenal! I would whole-heartly recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding. If we could do it all over again we wouldnt do anything differently. This venue is so beautiful, reasonably priced, with GREAT service.
Sequoia Mansion is absolutely beautiful! The staff is super friendly and goes above and beyond. The staff is so accommodating and helpful. Having the option to have everything in house was so nice and so worth the money. The bartenders are fantastic and the food is spectacular. I’ve been recommending this venue to all of our engaged friends! Our wedding was absolutely perfect.

I had to book this venue, it has exactly the aesthetic and charm that I love and everything turned out perfect. Guests kept complimenting the food and the ceremony, which we had on the patio in front of the Sequoia tree. The Wedgewood staff are very good at keeping the event on schedule and made sure my husband and I were able to get food and drinks as we were shuffled around! I will just say if you're on the fence about going through a big company/ full service venue, there may be times you feel like part of a machine because they do SO MANY weddings but the trade off is it's a lot less work on you to find all of the different vendors (trust their recommended vendors, they are great!) so as long as you go in with those expectations you won't be disappointed. We had a wonderful day and their DJ, florist and decor vendors all made the event unique and special for us!
Where do we even begin? My husband Wyatt & I got married here on 6/3/22. Everything was perfect from planning to the day of! The Team here is amazing! We went with the highest tier " Elite package" and we would recommend this to everyone! It included everything we needed for our 125 guest count including an open bar! For those starting their wedding venue search look no further! Wedgewood Weddings include everything you need from food, alcohol, floral/decor, DJ, officiant and more! We really appreciated having most of our planning done and just needing to pick choices rather than find the vendors ourselves with our busy schedules!
We would like to give a few special shout-outs! Mainly to our coordinator Amy who acted more like a family to us than a team member! She was a vital part of our planning before the wedding, the day before planning, and was a leader on the day of! Some special moments with Amy were when she bustled my dress, saved my wedding shoes when I said, "To just cut them off," when I couldn't get my ribbons un-done. She made sure everything was perfect and helped our wedding dream come to life. Another huge shoutout to Bartender Shannon who made Bride & Groom and others feel so loved. Our grandparents even said she helped them out to their car (grandfather in a wheelchair). Finally, shoutout to DJ Steve for keeping us calm, and on time and helping us along the way! Our guests loved the food, decor, and timeline of our event all thanks to Sequoia's amazing team! We would upload more photos but we don't have our photos/video back yet! I can’t believe I forgot to rant and rave on how amazing my wedding was. From day one they made my life easy! The staff was beyond helpful, the venue was amazing. It was my dream wedding! We had our beautiful flower arrangements and decorations by Cocomont, Frank Vilt’s nailed my black and gold cake. My friends and family still talk about it to this day. If you want a hassle free, beautiful venue I recommend this place!
This venue is absolutely stunning! We fell in love with it right away. We spoke and worked with Kali and Jordan who were both very pleasant and kind! If you are looking for an adorable venue that has endless possibilities and will wow your guests, this is the place!
Our wedding happened fo fall during COVID so it was a very stressful time not knowing whether or not we’d even be able to have it. Based on county regulations & guidelines, we were able to still have our ceremony and had to reschedule our reception to next year. We opted to have immediate family only at our ceremony due to capacity requirements. The ladies at Wedgewood Sequoia Mansion, both Kali & Jordan were such a pleasure to work with. They were professional and went above & beyond every step of the way. Our special day turned out wonderful and we can’t wait to continue planning with them for our reception!
Our wedding at Sequoia Mansion was the day of our dreams! From planning with Jordan to the day-of with coordinator Morgan, the planning process and day-of went by perfectly. They make it SO easy...what vendors to contact and when (btw, the vendors they work with make your decor/cake/DJ/officiant dreams come true!), how to order invites and when to send, and even provide you with a binder listing out every little step for you. All you need to do is the fun part...pick everything out! If you have a question at all EVER, all you need to do is email them and they get back so promptly and positively. The "getting ready" spaces for guys and girls were levels above what we saw at other places. Their service is unmatched, and we really felt like royalty on our big day. For the delicious food, beautiful site and decor, amazing service, the price is unbeatable. You get way more than what you pay for, and we wouldn't have done it any other way! There is a specialness about the venue, and as for the staff, they are wedding EXPERTS and it shows. I will forever recommend Sequoia to friends and family. Choose Sequoia, you absolutely won't regret it!!

My wedding was no-stress thanks to the team at Sequoia!
Everything was fantastic. The venue is beautiful and was remodeled in Spring 2019. I love all the different rooms in the house-- the venue is beautiful and intimate and I loved that we had the whole house to ourselves. Everyone loved the wood-paneled bar and the beautiful details in the house.
Jordan and Morgan were our wedding coordinators, they were awesome! They were so responsive and took care of everything so we didn't have to worry. They even helped arrange a special treat for our wedding guests, which was a video game party.
The vendors that work with Sequoia are fantastic-- Camino Flower Shop made the most beautiful floral arrangements I've ever seen and Cocomont did such a beautiful job with staging, decor, and table arrangements. Dottie and Matti were amazing, I'm so glad they were part of our wedding!
Frank Vilts Cakes did a fantastic dessert buffet. Everyone loved the cookies, cheesecakes, macarons, and cupcakes.
I also loved that everything was billed through Sequoia in advance. We knew exactly how much things were going to cost and it allowed us to stay in budget.
The only thing I think Sequoia needs to work on is adding more thoughtful details throughout the venue. The remodel made a huge difference but I think they could add some small touches throughout the venue to make it look even better.
Overall, Sequoia was fantastic and I'm so glad my wedding was there! You won't regret booking Sequoia Mansion!

planning with Wedgewood Sequoia Mansion went very smoothly. They were available for any questions or concerns we had during the process. Jordan was our wedding coordinator the day of the wedding and she did an amazing job with making sure we were on schedule! She even brought us out some appetizers and a beverage of our choice while we were having our photos taken. The venue looked amazing the day of our wedding. There had been some remodeling done to Sequoia Mansion since after our first visit last year and it wasn't mentioned until our second visit with payment a couple months prior to the wedding in September. The remodeling looked good, however it took away some of the "Colonial" feel by removing the original crown molding and painting the metal ceiling in the first room to the left. The venue still looks amazing, it just has a modern look and feel inside now whereas in the beginning prior to remodeling it felt more "Classsic" and "Colonial" which was what attracted us to this mansion. The food was amazing the day of our wedding! We had so many guests complimenting the flavor and presentation! We chose the option to have cards placed out next to foods that were Gluten Free and Vegetarian friendly however they weren't placed out and some guests had confusion with what was ok for them to eat. I would recommend this venue.

First off Wedgewood rocks! My husband and I were looking for a small secluded place to have our wedding we actually had a friend who had their wedding up here and we really liked the feel. Snce then Sequoia has had a remodel And it looks better than ever they made everything super easy for us we barely had to lift a finger and everything was communicated through email and they got back to us in a timely matter with each question we had! They have a series of packages that fit your specific needs and each one has something special just for you. Jordan was our wedding planner she was great she was very prompt and courteous and made everything extra special on our big day we highly recommend Wedgewood at Sequoia in Placerville I know they have many locations as well!

From the touring the facility, to leaving after the reception, every planning step was managed in the most professional way. The staff provided a binder on how to best prepare your wedding choices, songs, colors, cake type, music selection, and everything else in between. They truly care about your big day, and it shows all the way through to the walking down the aisle. They take any stress that you could possibly have off your shoulders. They made our big day special and stress free. Plus the space was fit for a queen.

I cannot say enough nice things about this Venue. The spaces are beautiful and updated to give the Mansion a vintage, but with a touch of modern romantic feel! They have multiple packages that will meet most wedding budgets. You get A LOT with the packages available. For me the best thing about this venue is the Staff! Matt, Jordan and Liz are amazing and really take the time to help and answer any questions. The DJ that works with this venue is also great! He is very friendly and vibrant we had an amazing experience. This is a great venue and even better team!

From the moment I first saw this venue I knew it was the venue for me. It was absolutely beautiful, had multiple sites the ceremony could be held at (including an indoor option in the event of rain), and it included a lot in it's packages. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They offered connections to other vendors to make it easier for you to find vendors (photographers, florists, makeup, etc). They worked very well with my planner and answered all questions we had promptly.
Between having them and my planner, on the day of my wedding, everything went so smoothly that if anything went wrong, I didn't know about it. The food was absolutely amazing and they kept the drinks flowing. My guests really enjoyed themselves and it was a day I will never forget. If you are looking for a beautiful venue that is almost all inclusive, this is the venue for you.

This place is a joke. It’s ran down and very overpriced, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, they change prices on you by over 1/3 and then when you cancel over9 months in advance they will not return any of your $1000 they demand upfront.
Amazing venue! They work with you every step of the way and answer every question you throw at them. They allowed me to fully decorate the entire mansion with all of my DIY projects. They are very organized and keep the wedding going especially during the ceremony. The food is delicious. It was something that I was nervous about since we didn't get to test it before the wedding but it was fantastic. A big shout out to Emily, Liz, Darci, and our DJ Steve for keeping things going and organized and for being so kind. My only complaint was the night staff who were very unorganized and didn't communicate with the day staff. We were refunded for a minor mistake and overall our experience with Wedgewood was excellent. If they ever expand to Oregon we'll be the first to recommend them.

Had an appointment the people were friendly but the place is right across the street from a cemetery and in a residential neighborhood. If you book too far out in advance for you Wedding it is a minimum charge of $12,000 and it doesn’t include photography or the bridal flowers but they can get you a “really good deal” through your venders. It also is musty and the staircase is extremely steal so wearing heals is kind of out. You can get married our front in front of the cemetery or at the side of the house...
From the first tour appointment through the end of our wedding and days following, Sequoia Mansion was amazing. They were always prompt to fully answer any questions we may have had, and they worked with us to build the perfect package in our budget. Would recommend them confidently to anyone looking for a venue!

If you want a stress free wedding, then the Sequoia Mansion is the way to go! We visited a lot of venues, but only Sequoia really offered to take care of everything. The venue provided the food, MC, bride and grooms dressing area, and worked exclusively with our florist and designer. Steve, the MC, did an amazing job and had people dancing all night! The food was excellent! And the staff really put in their all to make sure the night went flawlessly. There was some mistakes on the marriage license and Emily was quick to figure out what could be down to fix it and honestly that was the most stressful part of my night, but she really helped calm us down. Emily and Demi, the catering sales team and coordinators, we’re such a pleasure to work with. You won’t regret choosing the Sequoia Mansion!
Plus, the Mansion is gorgeous!

We Loved Loved Loved this venue! From the very first visit they held our hand through the wedding planning process. Our Wedding Coordinator Emily was fantastic! Her calm demeanor helped us calm down and feel at ease despite planning our wedding in 3.5 months! She answered all our questions, responded quickly, and helped us customize a package that was right for us. They also work with exclusive vendors, so this made the planning process easier and gave us a bit of a discount. Compared to searching, visiting, and finding an outside vendors for cake, flowers, design consultation, photobooth, dessert bar, photographer, transportation, etc.

They have been so overwhelmingly, positively, helpful. The staff know how to make this a stress-free and fun (as it should be). The venue is BEAUTIFUL and meets both my (soon to be) husband's and I's characters. The vendors they provide are awesome and so nice, they are local to the venue so it's awesome that local businesses are getting their business.
The Wedgewood team at Sequoia Mansion in Placerville was fantastic! When we initially went in for a consultation Meghan did a great job of showing us what all our options were. She helped us narrow down the services that were most important to us, so we could keep the cost within our budget. We honestly thought we wouldn't be able to afford using them as our ceremony and reception site, but her expertise made it possible for us. Throughout the wedding planning process they were instrumental in helping us get everything set. It was wonderful to have them available throughout the process. Whenever I had questions they were there to help. The day of the wedding went so smoothly. As the bride, I felt taken care of and confident that they would carry out everything I had planned for the big day. They also went above and beyond in several instances, like doing a champagne/cider toast that we hadn't planned on initially. Overall a beautiful location, great service, and kind, helpful staff. If you're looking for a location with beautiful historic charm and a company that will take care of everything this is the place to go! Highly recommended!!
Wedgewood Sequoia Mansion allowed me to have my dream wedding without breaking my bank. They worked with us on everything to make a package that catered to our needs and allowed us to save so much money. We were initially planning for a Saturday in October, but we were informed that by switching to a Sunday in November we would save $4000 AND winter promotions would begin for us. We ended up getting so many upgrades I didn't even expect to get and it was worth every penny. Not only do they do all the set up and break down, we also had our DJ (Steve Boutte, who was absolutely fantastic) included in our package, as well as our delicious food, plus the service we received from our banquet captain Vanessa was above and beyond. As with any fall wedding, we had to prepare for the chance of rain. It did end up raining on the big day but they had a plan B set in place for me so I didn't have to worry about a thing! I highly recommend this beautiful venue to anyone and everyone! Thank you for making my wedding day truly amazing.
This place was amazing. The whole day went very smooth from the second we got there to the time we left. The event coordinator I had that day and the staff were very attentive and always made sure I was doing ok and had everything I needed. They have different packages you can choose from depending on services and amenities that you want or need and helped work around our budget. We had about 105 guests and the ceremony was outside on the patio. I thought it was very well spaced, people didn't seemed too crowded. The reception was inside the ballroom and everything looked so pretty. Our main dishes were chicken and fish with a lot of side salads and vegetable options, everything tasted very good. All of our guests have said it was one of the nicest weddings they had been to and they had a lot of fun. So thank you Wedgewood banquet at sequoia mansion for making our day so memorable and amazing. It was all we asked for and more!
Sequoia Mansion is a beautiful venue to be married in. The vintage victorian home, wooden bar space, large ballroom, and lovely parlor space is romantic and spacious. I also loved the recently updated bridal party space where we all got ready. The ladies at the venue are amazing as well, I was grateful to get to work with Emily and Megan throughout the process. They always responding quickly to emailed questions.They went over everything with us before the big day and were just as excited about all the personal touches I wanted included as I was. On the day of I had everyone in the bridal party come early to help set up the decorations I brought, but Emily and Megan had already beat us to it. I didn't have to worry about anything but relaxing, having fun, and getting emotional on my big day. It was truly the best day ever and I couldn't have done it without the ladies at the Sequoia Mansion.

My husband and I got married here at the end of April and I would absolutely recommend Wedgewood at Sequoia Mansion to any bride looking for a stress-free beautiful wedding day. After searching for a venue for a couple of months & getting fed up with the outrageous pricing, sub-par staff, and over-bearing wedding coordinators; we stumbled upon Wedgewood’s website. The pictures on the site do not do this place justice!! It is only about 45 minutes from Sacramento so I definitely suggest making the drive to see the place in person. From the first time we visited the venue, we were in awe with the beauty of it. The place is gorgeous & has such an elegant feel to it! My husband immediately fell in love with the bar’s dark wood cabinets and granite bar tops.
At our first appointment, we were given a tour of the venue and then sat down with Jacqui in the sales office to go over pricing. We gave her our modest budget & she was VERY respectful of it, never tried to up-sell us on anything like other venues had done. She even suggested ways we could save money. Wedgewood has put together several base packages that are completely customizable to your tastes. Jacqui was very patient and went through all of the details of the package, adding some services & removing others until we were satisfied with what we were getting for our money. I would definitely recommend going with their preferred vendors – they are the best of the best & work great together to ensure your day runs smoothly. (Lisa Richmond Photography, Camino Flower Shop, Chad Stalzer Productions, and Sugar & Spice Bakery) Throughout the planning process, the ladies in the office were quick to answer any questions I had & stayed on top of every aspect of our big day.
When I arrived at Sequoia on our wedding day, the staff had everything set up exactly how I’d requested. Vanessa, our banquet captain, made sure to introduce herself first thing and let me know that she was available for anything we needed. While getting dressed, we were treated to complimentary champagne & a fruit and cheese platter. The entire staff was very attentive throughout the entire night, making sure we had everything we needed & really treated us like royalty. I have heard nothing but good things from our guests. Everybody really enjoyed themselves and my guests can’t stop gushing about how beautiful the place was!
I absolutely loved being a Wedgewood bride! The planners there are fantastic. The location is beautiful, especially for wedding pictures. For the price we paid, I feel that we got ALOT more! I would change nothing about it.
