My love affair with photography is ever evolving. I am an artist striving to highlight the thoughtful connections made on your wedding day. With over twenty years of experience my intuition lends itself to knowing what details to notice, when to take the lead and how to get the most authentic, honest photographs of you and your family and friends. I approach each wedding with a thoughtful plan to ensure that I showcase the true style of each event. From my time at the Savannah College of Art and Design to my experience as a photo stylist in NYC - I am honored and excited to have the background and knowledge necessary to be able to highlight the vision for your wedding day.
Photography chose me after I fell in love with the art in college and never looked back. I believe in all love and am thrilled to highlight everyone's unique love story. Creating timeless heirlooms to preserve your love story is a privilege.
Apart from my work as a wedding photographer I also love music and sing in two bands. I love to cook and create new dishes at home and enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter who are my whole world.

Sera brings the energy of your favorite aunt who was both fun and helpful at your birthday parties. I hired Sera because of her warm professionalism, her signature floral flat lays, and her willingness to build a photography package that fit our budget and her standards. For our engagement session, she arranged a last-minute location switch due to rainy weather, and during wedding planning, her vendor recommendations were spot-on. On our wedding day, she went above and beyond to make sure our photography timeline ran smoothly. She met me early to pick up my engagement ring for details shots, and she even steamed my dress. She got fantastic shots of my 18-month-old ring bearer, which I appreciate, as not every wedding photographer works well with young children. I highly recommend Sera, both interpersonally and artistically.
My husband and I can't say enough good things about Sera! She is so talented and took a lot of the stress out of the day with her calm and friendly attitude.
We were planning our Charlottesville December 2022 wedding from Australia and she took the time to do late night calls with me and scope out our wedding spot in advance for us. She was so helpful every step of the way and even recommended our ceremony spot to us which elevated the wedding beyond what we had initially envisioned! Her knowledge of Charlottesville and others in the wedding industry is invaluable. She was amazing at capturing our wedding and we are obsessed with our photos! She found a way to put an old school hollywood spin on our photos that we weren't expecting!

I can't say enough good things about Sera! Our photos are gorgeous - everything we could have hoped for. And, Sera was a delight to work with. She was knowledgeable, encouraging, warm, and helped me think through countless details prior to our wedding. She was like a photographer, wedding planner, and fairy godmother rolled into one!
We absolutely loved Sera. She did a fantastic job in all aspects. We had a great conversation to get to know each other before the wedding, and we felt like she "got" us - in the sense of being artistic and taking beautiful photos, without making us feel too staged or awkward. She strikes a great balance of being classy and elegant but not snobby - she is down to earth in person, very warm and approachable. She coached us when needed into the right shots, but also let us be ourselves and didn't over-engineer things. She and her second shooter worked very hard throughout our wedding day; there was never a down moment. Though she is expensive, we came away feeling that having Sera as our photographer was worth every penny. We highly recommend her!
We booked Sera for our wedding and we have been so thrilled with all of the photos! Sera also has a great presence as she directs and sets up her pictures, she is very calm, and you can tell she has an artistic eye. We will be booking other sessions in the future with Sera. She is professional and her product is GORGEOUS!
From the moment I spoke with Sera, I knew she was the person I wanted to capture our special evening! We had a small, intimate wedding party, and the venue was perfect for capturing that traditional but cozy affair! Sera came together with us and was able to create a magical storybook that we will forever cherish. We loved how she planned for some traditional wedding photographs, however she has an eye for snapping those candid, precious moments. The moments that as a bride and groom, you do not necessarily experience while you are caught up in the whirlwind of the day. Sera is a delight to work with, and you can plainly obeserve she is experienced in working with the environment or situation within your venue. We had complications with weather elements and time restrictions, and that was no challenge for Sera, she delivered 100 percent! So thrilled she was part of creating memories on our special evening! Rest assured if you select her for yours, you will not be disappointed! Highly recommend!!
