Serafina was recommended to me by a good friend. I was looking for a Mother of the Groom gown. Not happy with my weight (had put on 40lbs due to steroids), I was unsure if anything would look good. Their selection was outstanding. Josephine pulled many dresses and recommended one in particular. I wasn’t crazy about it but tried it on anyway. To my pleasant surprise, it was perfect! After alterations it fit perfectly. They have gorgeous dresses and their attention to detail is amazing. Try them. I know you’ll be glad you did!

I am writing this review on behalf of my mother. After ordering a countless number of gowns online from several store my mother was getting frustrated with the whole process. She suffers from MS and does not have full use of the left side of her body. This made finding the perfect dress even more stressful for her until a friend of hers recommended Serafina. From the first time my mom went to the store she raved about their stunning gowns and their costumer service. Serafina and Josephine went out of their way to make my mother feel as comfortable as possible trying on dresses and we're extremely patient. During the fitting process they were also excellent, altering the dress several times to ensure it was perfect. I was able to attend two of the fittings with my mother and I can also attest to the care , patience and understanding the women in the salon provided. I would definitely recommend this vendor to all mother of the brides and mother of the groom's!

Came here to buy gowns for the weddings of my 2 children and purchased them on same day.The owner's daughter rang me up, gave me a receipt and then told me how much to leave as a deposit.It was half of the full price for both gowns.I returned 4 months later to schedule a fitting for the 1st gown.A non-family salesgirl looked at my receipt and told me I was charged the wrong price and told the daughter who sold it to me.The daughter came over to tell me I now owe $325.I advised that was unfair and that it was her fault and 4 months later! She told me I'm asking to steal the dress,I had to know it was the wrong price,and more unprofessional comments.Never an apology for HER error.I refused to pay.The next day, her mom, Serafina called and said I should do the right thing and pay additional $325! We debated and after Serafina said she will have a "hard time doing a good alteration on my gowns",I was stuck and offered to pay half that, and did so. Next dress came in after that fiasco and it appeared the same daughter now also ordered the wrong size for that gown.It was a different size from the first.So, Serafina ordered matching (not the same) lace and did a good job altering the dress to fit, but it had to be re-styled, and was not the same stunning dress it was.I had no choice with the wedding a month away.Time to pay for those alterations.I was charged $300,told it was due to the excessive amount of work Serafina had do to make the wrong size dress they ordered fit me, and for the lace to do that! I reminded them that was NOT my fault, and that I was decent and paid for half of their earlier mistake! Serafina then told me I should have paid her everything, not half.There was more I wont bother with here.If all goes well they may be ok, but if they mess up, YOU WILL take responsibility, not them. And 2 for 2 they messed up. I also purchased 2 pairs of costly earrings and a pair of shoes from them, and still they were so unappreciative and mercenary.I will never go there again and have told everyone I could at both weddings, to run far away!

Serafina provided the ultimate experience for me as the mother of the bride! By the time I went to Serafina I had been to several other shops but could not find THE dress. Serafina had an outstanding selection of gorgeous dresses. Josephine asked the right questions and helped to pull the best choices for me. At last I found the PERFECT dress for my daughter's wedding! The service and attention I received was professional and friendly. I was able to find matching jewelry and other accessories right there. And best of all the alterations were reasonable! The mother of the groom and the bride's step mother found their dresses at Serafina too! Without a doubt this is the place to get your dress for that special occasion!
