Serena Star and her staff go above and beyond to make sure your photography experience is truly incredible. I have done several photo shoots with Serena, including solo, couples, and my wedding! Every time I work with Serena, she takes the time to understand my vision for the shoot, and with a wedding she sincerely gets to know your unique love story. She finds out what matters to you and magically expresses that in your images. Serena is also keenly aware and respectful of what each person is comfortable with regarding personal insecurities, and will apply light editing to ensure your confidence in the photos. Serena, Dave, and her brother were the most amazing team. If you are looking for a photographer, they are the ones. Period. If I could give them over a 5 star rating I would. If you want to know more, please read below but long story short, you should book them. Go. Right now. Living in a different state but getting married in NJ, Serena was so accommodating and easy to book with. She answered all of our questions and very clearly laid out expectations. Fast forward to the wedding day, she came to my aunt's house where the girls were getting ready while Dave went to the parent's house ("wedding venue") to work with the guys. From what my husband told me, they had a ton of fun with Dave and said "Oh yea, Dave was awesome." Serena came in while I was getting my hair done and told me to relax and just show her where a few things were and she went to work. She was so incredibly easy to work with and helped us take really fun and cute poses with my bridesmaids. We did a first look with them and it didn't even feel like they were there. They then helped my husband and I take SO MANY PHOTOS that I didn't even realize until I saw the online gallery. We then did formals before the wedding with our family and bridal party. I had told Serena a list of combinations I wanted and she had them printed out and ready to go. Throughout it, I kinda started to take over and call people over (Sorry Serena!) but she was super accommodating. She told me that it was totally cool but just let her know so she could check it off the sheet and make sure I got all the ones I wanted. During the ceremony and throughout the reception you wouldn't even know they were there. Of course they were and we interacted, but they were such a great presence and I knew I didn't have to worry about photos at all that I could just put my phone away and relax! The absolute best part of the night was that it actually rained (more drizzled) right after the ceremony and into the night. She had brought a clear umbrella just in case it did end up raining and brought it out. Boy did we play. We had so much fun dancing and taking pictures in the rain and they were 100% there for it. They made everything feel fun and joyful and we just had a blast. Everything I've mentioned so far has been my reactions/feelings before I'd even seen the photos. Now that I have, I am BLOWN AWAY by the quality, artistry, and sheer breathtaking shots they were able to get. I have never been more ecstatic to see photos in my life. The are stunning. And the creative shots they were able to get and produce was amazing. I cannot sing their praises more. They are worth every cent spent and I would 100% go back to them the next time I need photos taken (and have fun doing it!)

We used Serena and her husband for our engagement pictures, wedding photo, and wedding videography and we couldn’t be happier!!! They made us feel so comfortable (which being very awkward in pictures I needed) throughout our day! Not to mention, the pictures came out GORGEOUS!!! They have a creative eye for finding many unique spots I would never thought of!! They kept the time line of the day running smoothly and were there from start to finish! Our pictures and video came out incredible and we know we made the best choice!! Also, they are both awesome people which helps. 🙌🏻 Definitely book!!

Serena and her team were amazing on our wedding day! They far surpassed our expectations. They were so down-to-earth and easy to work with. They made my groom and I feel comfortable throughout the day. We loved working with them and would recommend them to anyone!
