Serenade of Souls

As an event planner for 20 years, I have seen many bands. Chris and Serenade of Souls were the best! I asked them to do a decades show, because so many of the guests were from different age groups. We wanted everyone to feel included. We had music from the 50's to present day! To add a little extra spice...I Chirs had costumes and a video for each decade. No one was in their chairs...they all were dancing the night away! in between the costume changes, I had a fabulous DJ. I would use them again. Their web site tells it all....Plus Chris was easy to work with and always responded to my emails and phone calls. We also chose every song they played...! My guest are still talking about the entertainment!

I was a guest at this wedding but am very close to the bride and her family so I heard first hand how easy it was to deal with Chris as they planned the wedding. And the band was fantastic--after great people, having a great band can definitely help take a wedding over the top and Serenade of Souls did just that! The first dance got 98% of us on the dance floor and more people danced more often that usual and everyone thought the band made the reception wonderful.

We loved this band and so did our guests. They learned our song since it wasn't on their list and they did a great job! Great voices, great musicians... kept the crowd going all night! We were sad when it was over! They were very professional and looked great!

I can't speak highly enough about Serenade of Souls. An amazing band was at top of mind for my wife and I as we know that (right or wrong) a band makes or breaks a wedding reception, so we wanted to only the best, and we found the best with SoS. We did as much research as was possible, especially since we were having a destination wedding in Florida, and weren't able to see the band live prior to the wedding. The band's videos online almost looked unreal to us and truthfully we had our suspicions going into the weeding, but it's all as amazing as it sounds in their videos. The band is extremely classy and professional, and they love to have a good time, and that radiates into the reception crowd and we couldn't have had a better time at our reception. Our guests still talk about how good the band was. SoS has an extensive list of songs they can play, and they allow you to choose some beforehand. The band even learned to play our "first song" for us, which was awesome and made the experience more intimate. They stay current with the newest songs but play some classics the best. No matter what they are singing or playing, their vocals and musical ability are unreal. Our wedding was an hour behind schedule and SoS was supposed to start playing at 8:30. However, we did not get done with dinner until 9! They were so patient and very flexible! They offered to still play the 4 hours that was in the contract! I doubt most bands would do this, but SoS was very understanding. I could go on, but I've made my point; this is the best wedding band and you will be equally impressed and happy with them. You would be lucky to have them play at your wedding!

Serenade of Souls played for our Daughter's wedding 11/16/13 and they were fabulous!!! We give them a 10!!! Their promo on You Tube was terrific but their live performance was even better! Their sound system and speakers delivered superior sound equivalent to a recording studio. Our band planner was extremely organized, accommodating and a delight to work with. She helped us customize the music selections to the crowd from an 8 page playlist. They are amazingly talented musicians who can play from all genres and are sure to delight your guests. We were overwhelmed by all the compliments from our guests. We purchased 2 options: a vocalist for the cocktail hour and their custom "white" stage display...both were terrific. The white set was beautiful and the color changing show added an energy that was contagious on the dance floor. We highly recommend Serenade of Souls for your wedding or event. They are sure to make your event a success!!!

Serenade of Souls was incredible. Janine who is one of the lead singers, was our contact person for the band. She was so accommodating, warm and interested in making this event as personal and special as possible. We were given a list of songs to pick from along with recommendations from the band. We chose one new song and several more personal ones from their list for the event, and the rest was left up to them. We felt, along with our guests that they had the pulse of the evening well in hand. The lighting, sound system, vocals and professionalism over exceeded our expectations. From the introduction of the bride and groom and their dance to the song selections during dinner to the dance portion of the evening, their contribution to the success of the wedding was evident, and they delivered. It was just one less item on the list we didn't have to worry about because it was left in very capable hands. Thank you to Serenade of Souls. Bravo!!!!

Serenade of Souls provided an amazing experience. Our wedding was delayed by a 1/2 hour and the band was nice enough to stay that extra half hour, free of charge. The covers they preformed sounded JUST like the original artist (sometimes better). All of our guests couldn't stop talking about how great the band was. Would definitely recommend them.

What a band! With the combination of incredible musical talent from their amazing vocalists to the use of instruments! Their range of music and how well they played each song! They created a fun and upbeat atmosphere throughout our wedding. Guests are still coming up to us saying how much they loved the band! Behind the scenes in preparation for the event - Janine was all over customizing the night to fit our needs and making the schedule flow seamlessly! By far the best band we have ever seen - love them!
