Amazing VenueReviewed on 4/30/2014 Kristen S
Cordel and his staff were amazing! They were great at setting up all of my decorations and made sure they had the exact vision as I did for that. They were so accommodating and thought of every detail. They made sure to have drinks ready for me and the bridal party after the ceremony since we would miss cockatail hour. They also saved appetizers from cocktail hour for me and my husband so we would be able to have some. They were very organized which I greatly appreciated. Cordel always responded to my emails within a day or so. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and responsible venue!

My Beautiful Wedding at SerenataReviewed on 7/01/2012 Kelly H
My wedding at the Serenata was absolutely amazing. It exceeded all of my expectations. Cordel and his staff are beyond professional and did everything to ensure that our wedding was the best it could ever be. The food was out of this world. Our guests had nothing but the most amazing things to say about this venue and I can honestly say that, as the bride, I would not have changed a thing. Thank You Cordel and Staff for making our wedding day the most amazing memory for us, our children and all of our guests.
Stress-free coordination at an amazing venue!!Reviewed on 6/21/2012 Sherry T
Serenata Beach Club was a beautiful, oceanfront setting for both my ceremony and reception. The banquet manager, Cordel Crowley, was amazing to work with! He is very professional and experienced in planning and executing the perfect wedding. He left me confident and stress-free, which was very important during the hectic planning stage. His staff, especially Kourtney, were very attentive and friendly as well. I received so many compliments from my guests on the food. The chef was very flexible in accommodating my husbands' dietary requests. I had the ceremony on the second-floor verandah, which offered my guests a beautiful, 180-degree-view of the Atlantic Ocean over the sand dunes. Gorgeous! So many of my guests told me that it was the best wedding they have attended. Some even went on to say that it was even better than their own wedding! What's interesting to note is that Serenata was the most affordable high-end venues on the beach in North Florida, and I researched them all!
So lucky we found this placeReviewed on 5/28/2012 Christie P
I had always pictured out wedding reception in downtown St. Augustine and wanted the White Room. When we sat down with them to reserve the date were presented with all these hidden fees not on their site and was completely out of our budget. I was in shock and didn't really have a plan B. My now husband didn't live in Florida so I had wanted to have this figured out before he left to go back to work in the fall (he's a professor). My mom remembered Serenata from my high school swim team reception 10 years before and we went over on a whim. We ran into Cordel, the event coordinator, as he was leaving but he came back in and showed us the venue and sat down and spent time with us. We were so happy with the venue itself but also the cost that we booked it the very next day for a May wedding. Cordel is EXTREMELY upfront. There are no hidden costs. Everything includes tax and gratuity. He does not want you to go broke and is honest with you about the best way to do things - like not doing a champagne toast (hundreds of dollars wasted in a matter of minutes) or whether depending on your group if it's best to pay a flat fee or pay per drink (each guest would need to average out to drink more than 5 drinks for you to beat the house... and he was honest that rarely happens... we went with paying per drink and saved so much bc our average turned out to be 3 drinks/guest). The staff was very helpful, including Courtney who works with Cordel and he passes us onto at the end of the night. Our guests were blown away by the venue - it looks much more expensive than it is. The food was very good (loved the filet!). Important to note this venue is better for a smaller wedding. We had 10 round tables for 96 guests plus our table for a sweet heart table and just had enough room not to put any tables on the dance floor. If you have more tables they have to go on the dance floor then be removed after dinner. We wanted a smaller and more intimate wedding and this place was the perfect place. Please check them out - you'll be glad you did. Fantastic VenueReviewed on 4/30/2012 Emily W
I just cannot say enough good things about this venue. First of all, it is beautiful. Second, their staff is awesome and completely on top of everything. I walked in there and didn't have to worry about a thing until I was headed home that night. It is a little pricey, but well worth it. They set everything up and then packed it to go for us and had it on a cart waiting by the door when we were ready to go. I would recommend this to anyone. They truly made my wedding a day to remember.

Awesome 9.10.11 WeddingReviewed on 9/26/2011 Sabrina M
The Serenata Beach club is a little pricey but the service and the accomodations are superb. Cordell worked with us to help us envision how we wanted everything. He walked us through different scenarios so we could make informed decisions about everything. He answered e-mail promptly and his staff was very professional. The day of the wedding we had a personal assistant who ensured we had everything we needed. The food was wonderful and the beach location makes it a perfect spot for both the ceremony and reception. I am so glad we chose this location for our wedding!
WONDERFUL venusReviewed on 7/05/2011 Kara S
I cannot even express how happy I am that I chose to have my wedding at the Serenata. The location is AMAZING. The views of the ocean are spectacular. All of our guests were just blown away by how beautiful the location was. I also got so many compliments on how great the food was too. We were a destination wedding, so I did not get to do any tastings, but the chefs FAR exceeded my expectations. I heard quite a few "this is the best wedding food I have ever had" from my guests :) Cordell, the coordinator, was key in making my wedding day stress free. From the moment I arrived on my wedding day, he took everything over so I did not have to worry about a thing. His assistant, Courtney, took care of us all night. She served our food to us and made sure we always had whatever type of drink we needed. They even cleaned up all of my DIY projects so my BMs could take them back to the hotel for me! Thank you so much to Cordell and all the Serenata staff for helping my husband and I to have the most perfect wedding day!
Beautiful March WeddingReviewed on 8/09/2010 Jocelyn R
We were lucky enough to have gorgeous weather on our wedding day and one of the best venues for a beach wedding reception in Jacksonville. We looked at many different venues but couldn't find ocean view anywhere other than Serenata Beach Club or Casa Marina in Jax Beach. We chose Serenata because of the location, practically on the beach, and away from all the Jax Beach tourists. Serenata Beach Club has panaramic ocean views from everywhere and there was a private walkway down to the beach for pictures. It's a fairly private beach (Serenata is members only) so the beach is not overly crowded, especially in March. There were plenty of windows in the 2 rooms where our reception was held so even the views from indoors were gorgeous. There is a huge deck patio right outside the 2 rooms that have the view of nothing but the ocean - GORGEOUS. Even the condos on both sides of the clubhouse are beautiful. We loved having our wedding reception here (Ceremony was at Cathedral Basilica in St. Augustine). During the dinner reception, we heard many comments about the food being wonderful. The overall price was very competitive compared to other venues throughout Jacksonville (believe me, we shopped around!). You definitely get alot for what you pay for - beachfront property, amazing food, awesome waitstaff and all at a great price! You can't beat that in Jacksonville!
