Alice and Eric are absolutely amazing! I didn't live in Houston while I was planning my wedding, so my sister and mother had to help me out when it came to meeting with vendors. Alice and Eric met with my sister, and she was blown away by the quality of their work, their professionalism, and their strong level of preparation for the meeting. They captured every single detail of the wedding - they even captured our wedding invitations! We were an older couple with a non traditional wedding reception and Alice and Eric handled it with aplomb. We were lucky to have both of them at our event. They work together beautifully. Serendipity were the photographers for my sister's wedding in Houston and we loved them so much we brought them to Austin for ours. The owners, Alice and Eric, are very creative and insanely easy to work with. We wanted a lot of candid shots because we aren't too great at posing. They far exceeded our expectations. They captured the smallest, most brief moments from amazing angles that I can barely see in our wedding video. They were also incredible because they were able to help us pose so that we didn't look awkward or feel uncomfortable. Another big plus is that they were able to take incredible pictures but no one actually remembers ever seeing them. They're very stealthy! Every time I look at our pictures I feel so much joy. They are priceless. I can't say enough positive things about serendipity!

Eric and Alice are phenomenal. It was a true blessing to have them as our photography team. They are extremely professional and focus on the details which is very important in photography. They will show you sample galleries of their work that covers the entire wedding. Not just select shots from various weddings. This is extremely important when selecting a photographer. I had bridal portraits with Eric and Alice and several of the pictures look like an advertising from a magazine. They have a creative eye that we did not see with other vendors. They were everywhere at the wedding and captured all our memories. When we got our pictures it was like experiencing the whole day again because all the details were there. I would highly recommend Serendipity. You cannot redo your wedding pictures so you have to get a team that you know will deliver an excellent product that you will treasure for the rest of your life. One of the best decisions we made was choosing Serendipity photographers for our wedding. We were even more honored to have both Alice and Eric the whole day. During my researching process, I've seen their works everywhere from Youtube to theknot and seen really good ratings. I even met up with my wedding planner and asked for recommendations and Serendipity came up. I was definitely sold before even meeting them. That is how much confidence I had in this company. Their communication was very prompt and I got every email I sent out responded quick. At some point, I still got responses back even when they were away on trips (that's not always the case with other people you will come across). How beautiful! That's the best way to describe the process, the product, and the satisfaction we have for the work Alice, Eric, and their staff did for the rehearsal dinner and wedding of our son and his gorgeous bride. Yes, the bridal portraits and the wedding shots were outstanding; but as parents of the groom, we wanted the preservation of rehearsal dinner memories to be of the same quality. My daughter picked Serendipity Photography for her portraits and her wedding out of dozens that we looked at in the Houston area. Their website shows the fantastic things that they do to capture the moments like no other photographer we had seen. Alice and Eric were wonderful to work with from the first moment. When we first met with them at their studio, they were so warm and so personable, that they made us feel right at home, and we knew it was going to be a good fit. Prior to the portrait session, we decided that we wanted to have her portrait done in two different locations. That was no problem for Alice and Eric. We simply paid a small additional fee for the second location and we were able to have a gorgeous portrait that was taken at the reception location, and an equally gorgeous portrait that was taken at the church. On the wedding day, Alice and Eric worked tirelessly for the entire 10 hours that we had with them. They didn't miss a shot! In the formals, they went exactly by my list, and on the candids they got so many great shots! We have wonderful pictures of the fun moments throughout the reception and the "get - away". I would highly recommend Serendipity Photography for their professionalism, their artistic eye, their attention to detail, and their very caring attitude. I certainly hope that I have the opportunity to work with them again.

Wonderful photographers! Alice and Eric are a great combination and made our wedding day extremely easy and memorable. They were patient, cordial to the guests, and captured every special moment gracefully. Alice and Eric were great and easy to work with. We picked them as our wedding photographer based on their work (that I’ve been stalking for years) and the variety package options they offer. They were professional and quick with their responses whether via texts or emails. They were so willing to work with our schedules and budgets. On the day of the wedding, we barely even noticed the camera crew was there at all. I really like that Alice was just there to capture the moments rather than bossing us around with all those posing :) And for all those picky brides out there (myself included), Eric and Alice will do what it takes to make sure that you are happy with their work. I cant say enough good things about Serendipity Photography. We love-love both our engagement and wedding photos. In addition to that (which is the main point!) We had some very drunk groomsmen and both photographers were very patient with everyone. They also dealt with the annoyance of all the guests jumping in front of them to take pictures with their phones etc. (which is so annoying! Let the professionals do their job. Sigh.) They commincated well with me through the day and captured every moment perfectly and didnt miss anything.

My husband and I were really satisfied with Eric and Alice's services. From the beginning, they were such a pleasure to work with. Alice answered all of our e-mails promptly. They were also flexible with our package options since we already had our portraits taken in Italy during our engagement. Eric truly covered every moment and angle on our wedding day. He even pulled me aside during the reception and made sure he covered all of the portraits I requested. We received our proofs recently and we are very excited to see the finished product, which I'm sure we won't be disappointed.

Because their skills as photographers speak for themselves when you look at the photos they produce, my review will focus on my experience with using Alice and Eric, founders of Serendipity Photography. every step of the way in the entire process, from answering questions, being flexible about the timing of telephone calls (I was living in Germany when planning the wedding), to seeking out the perfect spot for our first look, to finalizing the final touches on our wedding album, Alice and Eric were attentive and professional. Their goal was to ensure that we were happy with the service they provided along with the quality of the photographs. They really went the extra mile, especially since the wedding was a destination wedding, and we lived remotely. Never once did I feel that the distance with planning, execution, or wrapping up caused any additional difficulties in getting great service and a great product. The proved to be very flexible given our situation. I am completely satisfied with their service and absolutely love the end product. I would hire them again were I to do it all over again.

We were referred to Serendipity by one of our friends (Vic and Muy) who used them for their wedding. For us, photos and video was the most important part of the wedding because that is all we will have to remember our special day. We saw the pictures Serendipity took for our friends' wedding and its just beautiful. They were able to capture the moments beautifully and most importantly naturally. I just wanna say that Serendipity was the easiest part of the wedding. Eric and Alice are super nice and polite. They are very good at returning emails and phone calls within 24 hours which is a must have for me. Alot of times it takes some of these vendors a few days to response, but Eric and Alice werent like that. If they didnt have an answer immediately they would still respond and acknowledge that they received your message and is working on getting an answer for you. It was really stressful planning, and Serendipity made everything easier. They were able to provide me with their list of trusted vendors and gave me advice through out the whole planning process. It was like having a photographer and wedding planner at the same time. Our family and friends loved our engagement photos. Eric and Alice was able to capture our smiles and laughter naturally. On the day of the wedding, my family met them for the first time and loved them (my sister is planning to book them as soon as she has a wedding date set). They were very professional and polite. They helped keep time and moved the wedding along. They remained calmed and professional throughout the whole process even in times of chaos. They were able to capture the important moments beautifully. The turn around time for the proofs was very reasonable if not alot better than some of the other photo vendors my friends booked. When we received our engagement proofs (about a week after the shoot) we were speechless. We just couldnt stop looking at them and it was just so hard to pick just 20 pictures. The pictures were really sharp and the colors were impressive. We were shocked to receive an app with the highlights of the wedding just a few days after the wedding. Serendipity truly captured the moments. The colors were vibrant and each shot was captured naturally. My family cannot stop looking at the pictures and talking about their service during the wedding. I love and appreciate everything they done for us. I would highly recommend Serendipity to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. They are the professional, respectful, and experienced. They are worth every penny we paid and the easiest part of the wedding.

We used Serendipity to photograph our backyard country wedding and I could not be more happy with my pictures! We did a lot of DIY since we had over a year to plan and they captured every detail! They got every shot I wanted and more. I hunted for photographers for months and met with many studios to look at portfolios. Serendipity surpassed their competition with their originality and quality. They are very professional! I didn't even notice that they were there and they were very respectful when us girls were getting dressed. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. After the wedding, all you have to remember the day are your pictures. If you want the best then choose Serendipity. We splurged to get them and it was so worth it. They were incredibly profession. Easy to get in contact with and quick to respond. The photographs are high tech and make everything easy to access. Very fast! Will take every shot you request. The photographers have a wonderful eye for what to be taking shots of. I would use them again!

From when we first emailed them to inquire about prices, through our engagement photos and our wedding day, and after the fact, Alice and Eric have just been awesome. They are absolute pleasures to work with - and needless to say - are amazingly talented photographers. In the words of my father-in-law about out wedding proofs, "These are the best pictures I have ever seen." I'd also add that they are professionals to the utmost degree. Just for example, at one of our wedding events, which was held in Webster, Texas on a Friday at 6:00 PM (you can imagine the traffic), even close family members that were supposed to be there early came late, but Eric and, one of Serendipity's associate photographers, Quentin, were there right on time. One last tidbit - for those couples that might be looking for photographers with South Asian wedding experience, Serendipity has you covered there too for sure! We had a traditional Hindu wedding (I am not Indian), and so I had no idea what was going on more than half the time - but more than once, Eric was able to chime in when no one else was around and tell me what was up. ;) Needless to say, they're familiar with the flow of the events and captured all of the moments we were hoping would be captured. I couldn't recommend these guys enough.

Alice and Eric are amazing photographers who captured every moment of our special day beautifully. They were always professional, yet fun, energetic, and creative. Their ideas molded to what you envisioned your pictures to look like. They are talented, trustworthy, and therefore ease any extra anxiety you have about your big day. Their ability to beautifully capture every moment is simply amazing. They do a superb job, and my husband, family members and I are so happy that we chose them!

Alice and Eric really weren't kidding when they said they get great action shots! One of our favorite photos was of fireworks going off in the background. But they're also very talented in still shots. I had a horrible makeup trial that made me look like a circus vampire and yet they managed to make me look decent. They took maybe like 800 pictures, and I think I liked over 200 pictures, which is pretty amazing for me. Very timely, very curteous, quick to respond to questions. A little pricey compared to some of the other vendors we considered, but it's your wedding, and mine went by in a blur and I really needed the pictures to remind me of what happened, so I felt this was good money spent.

Alice and Eric are young, fun, hip, and completely professional. They are laid back and easygoing to work with, and help put you at ease during your photo shoots. They find great light and take beautiful photos. On our wedding day, they also took several fantastic photos "behind the scenes" that I didn't even realize until the proofs came out -- and worked quickly and efficiently throughout the day, catching lots of great candid shots. They worked so efficiently that we were even able to get in an extra impromptu "bridal portrait" session at the church on the day of the wedding. We really appreciated how quickly they got all the photo proofs to us for both our engagement session and for the wedding -- it only took a couple of weeks each time. In addition, just 3 days after the wedding, they sent us a wonderful gift of a wedding photo highlight album that we could share with family and friends. Everyone in our wedding party was impressed with their work, and we have gotten amazing comments to the photos on Facebook. :) Serendipity has a number of different wedding photo packages that can suit a variety of needs. I also enjoyed their initial presentation where they displayed their mad photoshop skills. :) Very highly recommended!

After interviewing several photographers in Houston/Sugar Land area, I fell in love with Eric and Alice. When you conduct interviews, you aren't just critiquing them for their skills, but how they connect with you on a personal level... and that's exactly what Eric and Alice did for my husband and I. We connected. They were people that I could see being my friends and also knowing what I wanted to capture on my special day. They did a great job capturing emotions that I want to look back on and remember and relive every time I look at the pictures. Serendipity Photography exceeded all of my expectations from the engagement photos to the wedding photos. I've known Alice and Eric for almost 8 years and knew even back in 2006 that I wanted them to be my wedding photographers...once that day came. Seven years later, that day became a reality! Even in their earliest days, their photography always absolutely amazed me. I read every blog entry and couldn't wait to see every new beautiful photo - my computer could never load the images fast enough! Not only are we so blessed to have know them for so long - they are a wonderfully sweet and funny couple, but just as I knew they would, they captured our big day absolutely beautifully. I am really camera-shy and never think I look good in any photos, but they totally pulled it off - I actually think I looked really pretty in the photos! So many wonderful photos! I love them all. We even had our two dogs and my huge family at the wedding and we got the most *perfect* family photo EVER - even the dogs were smiling and facing the camera! I always knew I wanted Serendipity as my wedding photographer way before I got engaged. A really good friend of mine, who was also my officiant, had Alice and Eric photograph their wedding. Their pictures were so gorgeous and after looking at the rest of their portfolio, I knew I had to meet them when I started vendor shopping. Honestly, they were the only photography vendor that I met with and I knew right after our meet and greet that I wanted to sign with them and I did! Alice and Eric are a wife and husband team and when you work with them you'll notice right away how well they work together and the number of ideas they bounce off of each other. Their photos are modern, but timeless. They did our engagement session, tea ceremony, and wedding. What's so great about them is that not only you have the standard staged posing, but their candid photos are just as amazing. We received so many photos from every event. Alice and Eric were great in making my husband feel comfortable during our engagement photos. During the wedding, they were totally non-obtrusive and still delivered AMAZING photos. Also, because of my culture, there were a lot of changes that were made during the process and Alice and Eric were very understanding AND accommodating. That is a huge plus in my book! They were answered all of our questions and concerns in a very timely manner. A couple of days after the wedding, we got this neat mobile app that had some highlights of the wedding day. I really didn't know what to expect from planning a wedding. But I knew that I wanted the best photo and video, because those are the only tangible memories you can look back on! I am so happy I went with Serendipity Photography. Alice and Eric were so easy going and made my husband and I feel so comfortable. From our initial engagement photo session, they were able to make us laugh and smile in such a natural way that we got so many compliments from people that our photos showed our true selves in such an effortless way. And because our wedding was actually a two-day event, things got chaotic in our planning. But Alice and Eric went with all the last minute changes so calmly and ALWAYS with a smile. Their respect and positive attitude towards myself and our entire family was amazing. Even our videographers came up to us at then end of our reception and tell us how happy they were to work with Alice and Eric because they were able to share the time and space to get the shots they needed. With them being a husband and wife team, you can definitely tell they knew how to work together for the benefit of the bride and groom. Even the secondary photographers they sent to take pre-wedding photos were so respectful and kind. They were so much fun to work with and I would definitely credit them to the smiles we had on camera. Also, because our wedding involved multiple ceremonies, things got confusing and we had no idea what we were doing. But they actually made our photos look like it was a smooth process. My bridesmaids would tell me that they didn't remember some parts of the ceremony happening because of the chaos. But seeing the photos, it looked like we knew exactly what was going on. But most importantly, the quality of their work was better than I could ever have imagined. They can do all the posed shots you want and of course they come out great. But the candid ones that you probably thought no one saw or even happened; they were able to capture. When we received our wedding photos, our families sat there for hours reliving the entire wedding. The pictures were crisp, sharp, with vibrant colors. And really, the best part was seeing how happy my father was to see them. He is the most serious person I know, and hardly ever smiles. But when he saw our wedding photos, he smiled and laughed to the point where I cried just seeing how happy he was. There are so many good things I have to say about Serendipity, which is why it took me so long to think of what to write. Each step of the way, they've been amazing. I cannot stress enough to my friends how happy I was with the level of service and quality of work we received from Serendipity. I cannot imagine going with anyone else. I absolutely believe they were worth every penny. P.S. They are very reasonable in their timing when it comes to getting your proofs ready for viewing. I don't know how long other companies are, but I got my wedding proofs before some of my friends that got married nearly a year before me because they went with a different company. I was able to show family members previews of our photos before they left on their flights back home after the wedding.

Alice and Eric, with Serendipity Photography, are an extraordinary team! They came highly recommended for our daughters wedding on December 29, and after having had the ‘Serendipity Experience’ we can certainly understand why! When searching for photographers for our wedding, Stephen and I knew what we wanted...someone who not only created beautiful pictures, but someone who captured "us"...our personalities and nuances. Serendipity did not disappoint. Alice and Eric are fun, easy to work with, and extremely talented. Every step of the way, they were there to help us and better our experience. The day of the wedding, they were always working, but NEVER in the way...and we couldn't be happier with the results. We can't say enough how much we enjoyed having them as a part of our celebration!!

Alice and Eric were very professional and they worked very personally with me. They even helped us with some of our wedding decisions and helped provide information for us. They were very patient and helpful with us too when it came to selecting photos for the albums. Alice and Eric worked very fast, and there were lots of great photos at the end. Overall, I was very happy to have them as my photographer for my wedding.

Eric and Alice are absolutely wonderful! They are so genuine, funny, and a blast to work with. We took our engagement pictures with them and they did the photography at our wedding. We were so happy with the results of both! The engagement session was a lot of fun, they have great ideas and do amazing things with light and color. My husband and I both felt we look better in our pictures than in real life! I was sooo excited to get our wedding pictures! Eric and Alice worked their butts off at our wedding and I knew the results would be wonderful! Eric is like a ninja, he was everywhere, and getting shots of everything. I was on a cloud during our ceremony and reception and don't remember much of what happened. But our pictures told the story to us! Eric and Alice captured all of the important moments and all of the fun our guests had on the dance floor! We couldn't be happier with the results! Serendipity is pretty expensive, but pictures are the most important part of your wedding - they capture the life-long memories of the best day of your life, and it's so important to have someone in charge that you trust!

We love Alice & Eric!! My husband & I used Serendipity for engagement photos (even though we already had some done-- their style of photography is just so beautiful that we kept it in our package),Bridal Session, Rehearsal Dinner & Wedding photos. They are so genuinely kind that taking photos with them is so easy; just like hanging out & having a good time... which, in turn, makes for beautiful & candid photos. Alice & Eric (& everyone they work with) are eternal professionals & that is something every bride values with so many things to keep track of. As much as we like them & would've loved to have them as guests, we hardly saw them during our events because they were gliding through the crowd, capturing moments.
