Serenity Spa and Salon

I was happy with this salon. My hair style did fall out (partly) pretty early in the night, but I think it was because of the updo I wanted. The makeup lady was great!

I have a mixed review for this salon. When I went for my trial I was very excited because the stylist I worked with easily created the look I wanted with little instruction and she did it in just one try. Unfortunately the stylist was out of town the weekend of my wedding - which I was told only 5 days before hand! They reassured me that the replacement stylist was their best and I would be happy. They offered to do another trial - but because I lived 2 hours away and it was during the week I just couldn't do that. The stylist I had on the day of my wedding was not up to par with who I was supposed to have. She had to redo my hair several times, seemed like she didn't really know what she was doing, and even had to get assistance. It was so frustrating that I paid for a trial for basically no reason because the hair I had on my wedding day isn't what I wanted. On a positive note, the lady that did my makeup on my wedding day was awesome and it looked great. I think booking someone for a trial that won't be there for your wedding is just bad business! It makes me sad because I was so happy with the trial...

Courtney does a wonderful job. Unfortunately, a lot of the other girls didn't do well on hair or makeup. They didn't understand what my girls wanted and the one took an extremely long time to do makeup causing us to be late to the church. However, Courtney is wonderful and fixed everybody's mistakes and pushed them to get moving.

This salon is beautiful, spacious and really a great place to have the whole bridal party hang out the day of the wedding. Christine did the most amazing job with my hair, it was more than i could have hoped for. Two of my bridesmaids weren't happy with their hair but the others were so happy. My mother never does her hair and make up and she looked so beautiful. They use airbrush make up which lasted all night. My biggest complaint was they booked two wedding parties that morning and making me late to the church and im sure the other bride who waited longer that i did was late as well. I also got a massage here the day before the wedding and it was the BEST massage I've ever had.
