I'm Serge from Sergey Lapkovsky Photography, a New York wedding photographer. My style is a timeless and elegant blend of documentary and portrait photography. Your wedding images will be a perfect combination of candid moments, beautiful portraits, and gorgeous details that you have worked on so hard!
Most of my clients have never been photographed before, so I'll help and guide you through the entire process of taking photos.
🔸 I pay a lot of attention not only to amazing lighting and composition but also to make sure that you LOVE yourself in your pictures. No awkward faces or odd hand gestures, just beautiful and natural moments!
🔸 I aim to feel like a good friend with a camera who keeps things easygoing, stress-free, and, most importantly, fun. All of the smiles in my photos are the best example of how my shooting process works.
🔸 These are photos you will be looking back on for 10, 20, 30 years to come and I want them to be TIMELESS!

up an entire “day of” plan and came with basically a plug and play of our “day of” shot list. We’re definitely more disorganized people and Serge could not have made planning photos for the day any easier. He was also just such a pleasure to be with on the day. It was stressful or exhausting at certain points (especially leading up to the ceremony!) and Serge was a rock! So so many of my family and friends told me throughout the day how wonderful Serge was. We were really hellbent on having photography that was unobtrusive (we’ve been to weddings with whirring drones over the ceremony and it totally took the magic out of it!). Serge got AMAZING shots while blending right into the background. He’s a magician! This is such a ramble, and I’m sure I missed some of the ways he was so great.
