thing on point to the T. During the trial I was very hesitant with how it came out. But I am someone who never wears more than mascara and foundation. But I trusted her judgment and went ahead and booked her. The day of the wedding came and I was still a little scared about how dark my make up would be, but in the end it came out perfect. And in photos her make up job was phenomenal. I love glitter and sparkle and the day of the wedding she added shimmer to my eyes and my body. I felt like a princess all day! You must book her! She does hair and make up that is to die for. I had 8 bridesmaids also and their hair was simple but was done beautifully. Their make up was very natural but stood out. Love you Cherry! Thank you so much for everything!

ived at 5 am in the morning, ringing my door bell while I was fast asleep. God less her, she's so punctual. She let me jump in for a quick shower and then whipped out her professional makeup luggage, and yes, a whole wheeling luggage. She means business. Mind you, she usually appoints days to test out your styles and palates for your hair and makeup prior to your wedding date. But in my case, I didn't due to my strict schedules. She asked me about my preferences and ideas. I told her I trusted her to do whatever she desires as long as she can make me pretty. And she did her magic on me, and in an hour or so, I was transformed. I got rave reviews on my wedding day. So...recap, I love her work, her ethics, and her creativity. Thank you!!! ictures. During my reception, Cherry changed my hair and touched up my makeup efficiently so that the guests didn't have to wait. I had a total of 3 wardrobe changes. Hiring Cherry helped me not worry about at least 2 things on my day. My day was perfect! The groom didn't run, my makeup was beautiful, and my hair looked like a herbal essence commercial! If I ever get married again, I will definitely call Cherry again! ;)

ight of the day was Cherry doing my moms makeup. My mom never wears makeup and she always feels self-conscious about her skin. After days of convincing my mom to do her makeup for my wedding she finally agreed. On the wedding day Cherry worked her magic and made my mom the happiest person on earth. Cherry made my mom feel comfortable, before and after, in her skin and she received so many compliments the entire day. Keeping in mind that my mom could not hold back any tears the entire day, her make up still looked perfect in the end of the night. Without knowing Cherry gave me the best gift on my wedding, which was making my mom happy and comfortable. I highly recommend Cherry to my friends, family, and to any of you that are searching for a great makeup artist.

her mastery at work during a pageant (where we girls need to seriously look our best for a televised event) and also a pinup-centric photoshoot. Just to know her range and ability to "read" a face (as weirdly unique as mine) and make it beautiful is incredible. I've had almost every MUA make me look so strange because my features don't offset each other so well, and have great cheekbones and horrible eyes, or pinup lips that start to run four hours later. She doesn't necessarily transform you in such a way that you're unrecognizable, but it's a magical transformation working with what features you've got, and creating beauty off of what you might not like so much, that is until she works on them. She also made my really dry skin look flawless and airbrushed. In addition, her professionalism and attention to detail is reassuring in a world where MUA and hair ppl can be flaky or non-responsive. I locked her down last minute for the shoot and she worked me into her super busy schedule, interfacing with me with rapid returns and plain old courtesy. She's just super fun and really comfortable to work with. She had to work on a male model who was extremely apprehensive in wearing makeup and not only made him feel completely at ease with the look, he now understands what a difference it can make in photos and fashion shows of his own. She gave me a look that's an honest dream come true and I seriously plan to make her my main MUA for any event, pageant or photo shoot. She's way too versatile just to be doing wedding MUA, honestly.

She came out on a Saturday to help me pick something out for wedding. Cherry brings the best out of you and makes you feel extra special on your day. Her makeup feels light and it lasted all day. months approaching the wedding, I sent her pictures of hair ideas and she gave me lots of good feedback about what would and wouldn't hold up throughout the day, what styles would best complement my dress and face, etc. So by the day of, I felt really confident that she had the perfect concept of how to blend my style, her professional opinion, and the windy weather we were expecting! And boy did she. I love love LOVED my hair, and it held up pretty much all day, with just a few curls escaping by the very end of the night. As for makeup - I'm pretty low-maintenance when it comes to makeup and I never wear foundation, plus I get hot easily. So I was worried that in the 90-degree, NO-BREEZE weather we ended up having on the wedding day, I would ruin my makeup with sweating! But Cherry was super confident and assured me it would be fine. And of course, it was! The look she came up with for me was so perfect, and held up all day and all night. I felt beautiful and the photos turned out awesome! Biggest lesson I learned - just trust Cherry! She knows what she's doing. Even for a person like me who doesn't wear much makeup, her instincts were spot on and I looked like myself, just jumped-up in the glamour department! She also did hair and makeup for my mom and three bridesmaids, and they looked gorgeous too! Cherry is very versatile and handled 5 people with very different looks with ease. I know if we had wanted more drama to our makeup she could have done that easily, but as everyone preferred a more natural look, she went that way and it was perfect. Cherry is also a dream to work with. She's got everything down, is such an expert and on top of all that, is just the sweetest person. I think I was pretty laid back on my wedding day, but even if I were a person inclined to be grumpy, I don't know how anyone could be grumpy around her! Do yourself a favor and book Cherry.

y wedding day. She is very professional and tries her best to do what you want. Before my wedding day, I changed 3 diff types of hair style. I was a bit hesitant that she wasn't able to do what I want but she did an amazing job! I didn't have a trial for this new hair style so I only prayed and hope for the best outcome. Give her a try. She'll make you one beautiful bride. I'll recommend her to all my friends. Thx for everything!

lf, the other bridesmaids and my sister, the beautiful bride. We were all extremely happy with the outcome. She was on time, well-prepared, and had great tips for us to keep our makeup and hair looking fresh throughout the hot, sweaty, 90 degree weather. Being a person who is not used to wearing a lot of makeup, naturally I was worried I wouldn't look like myself after I was all done up. She took care to keep my look natural, but I still felt beautiful the whole day and in the photos! Not only is Cherry very professional, she is extremely FUN and a pleasure to hang out with before any big day! I have also hired Cherry for a couple of nights out on the town where I wanted my look to be more daring and sexy, and she did a great job on both my face and hair. I would definitely hire Cherry again for other special occasions!

! I really love how she does her make up because it feels so light but yet you still get all the full coverages. Her eyeshadows!! Many varieties to choose from, matte or shimmer. I love love love how she does my hair because my hair actually stays curled! My hair is naturally straight and I'm very happy Cherry can make my hair stay curled!! Show me your skills! I forgot to say.. If you want your make up or hair done book with her early !! She gets so busy not for a week or two but for 2-3 months straight! She is amazing and thank you Cherry!!

ding day I did not get this kind of Talent. Cherry is Truly the best Make-up artist and photographer wrapped up in one little package. She made us feel comfortable doing the boudoir shoot, which was a first for all of us. Thank you Cherry for such an amazing experience and I can't wait to do it again. -Leilani Lee

s hard for people to know what to do with my eyes b) no one knows your face better than you. When I first met Cherry I unfortunately came with this in mind and tried to not let my reluctance show too much, it was my girl's wedding and I should enjoy this experience anyway right? Right away I felt better because she was very orderly and clean. Her goods were set up and she had sanitary disposable tools visibly ready so that was a plus. She did my foundation and base perfectly, hid my tragic perpetual dark circles, which made me feel even better. I enjoyed it this much so when she asked me what I would like, I shyly asked for a kind of sort of basic pinuppy faux crease for my eyes, ready for any sort of rejection or reluctance from her, but the OPPOSITE happened, and she lit up and told me that basically was her forte! She showed me her pictures from her phone of the looks she's done for pinup and I was so incredibly happy, I gave her my full trust at that point and could not be happier. It was simple classic beauty, she knew exactly how to shape my eyes and enhance my features just right, and my hair was just what I wanted (voluminous side bun). She worked well under pressure and time constraints, managed to finish all four of us with extra time to spare (she also does a perfect chocolate smokey eye). Cherry made me feel really really beautiful, I know who to call now whenever I have my future hollywood glam wedding. Another huge plus, this lady is hilarious, it helped us relax quite a bit before the hour came to suit up. I admittedly slept with my make up on and tried to pull it off the next day, awful I know, but it worked, whatever setting spray she used was amazing because I just had to reapply a similar lip color and I was parading around the next day in my happy pinup glory. Cheers and thanks to this wonderful make up artist! Highly recommended!

ly talented and did an amazing job. My bridesmaids and Maid of Honor used her to do both their makeup and hair, and everyone was thrilled with the job she did. They each brought a few ideas of how they wanted their hair to look, and she executed them beautifully. Everyone's makeup was phenomenal. I was very pleased with my look. She does a trial run a few months before the wedding so you can get an idea and let her know your colors, etc. She even used my main wedding color on my eyelids! Overall, I am extremely pleased with Sessions Makeup and will be sure to use her again for any of my makeup needs!
