Stacy was hands down one of my very favorite vendors we hired. I had already selected a photographer who I thought I'd be signing with to photograph our wedding, however I decided to do some last minute searching. When Hunter Ryan photo recommended Set Free Photography to me I was HOOKED from the moment I saw her gallery online. Stacy's style was exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately after booking for April 2020, we had to postpone thanks to coronavirus. Stacy was so kind, understanding, and flexible throughout the postponement process. She even texted me on our original wedding date to tell me it had rained all day in Florida (we're out of towners). That text meant so much to me! Being a professional event planner myself I can be a bit of a control freak, but I had 110% confidence in Stacy and her work. I love how direct and clear she is in telling you and the groom & bridal party exactly how to pose for the best photo outcome. And she's so could at encouraging you during the process and making you feel beautiful & confident. We've already received our sneak peek photos back and have received so many compliments, I can't wait to see the final results. Stacy is the best of the best in SWFL and I'd highly recommend her for your wedding photography!

I truly don’t even know where to begin other than that Stacy is an absolute DREAM to work with! She was highly recommended by our coordinator at the Hyatt and in the first five minutes of our first meeting with her over the phone, we knew we needed to work with her! Being the first vendor we hired, Stacy was so helpful in recommending other vendors and answering any questions we had since we were planning from a distance. She truly goes above and beyond! She helped us to feel so relaxed in front of the camera, which didn’t exactly feel natural the first time we shot with her for engagement photos. We were in awe watching her work, always following the golden, glowy light - which makes for the most gorgeous, magical photos. Stacy was always so on top of communicating, worked seamlessly with our other vendors and had a plan in place for us to avoid some family drama the day of. After the wedding, she followed up to let us know what to expect in terms of timing, which she was always so ahead of! Our “sneak peek” was stunning and we didn’t know how the rest of our photos could top it… but they did!! Now we have no idea how we’re ever going to choose which to frame for our home! Everything from the photos themselves to a handwritten thank you and custom USB drive we were sent after the wedding were perfect. If we had to do it all over again, moving forward working with Stacy would again be the first thing we would do! We can’t wait for our paths to cross again!

This is a person who is brilliant at her craft and makes sure that every minor detail is taken care of. When I chose to have a destination wedding I was so nervous choosing a photographer from afar. After following Stacy on Instagram and seeing all of her beautiful work all over Florida I knew that she was the right choice. After consulting with several other photographers, I got off the phone with Stacy and just knew that her vision, passion, and attention to detail was what I was looking for. It also didn't hurt that she was a Midwest girl just like me. We shared laughs and chatted about our hometowns and I felt like I was talking to a girlfriend. Upon meeting Stacy at our rehearsal dinner we immediately embraced with a hug. She and her staff have an amazing warm and comfortable vibe that suits any group. They are so inviting and make you feel like a million bucks even if you are someone who hates taking photos (my fiance.) . A plus is that Stacy knows all of the vendors in the area so it's like everyone is one big happy family at a reunion!! Something that was really important to me was to take a big group photo. Stacy had no problem getting herself onto a ladder to capture that moment (see picture I've attached.) . She is pure genius and is worth every penny. Some wise advice I got from numerous friends is do not skimp on the photographer and hire a videographer! These are memories you will want to capture and remember for your lifetime! Stacy did such a fantastic job photographing our wedding! I cannot stop looking at all my photos. Stacy not only makes the planning process easy by helping make your wedding day schedule that coordinates with best lighting for photos, but she makes you feel extremely comfortable. She sets up meetings through the phone to help get a better idea of what you like and also gives you a survey to fill out to figure out your priorities for your wedding day. She is super talented, I love the clarity and quality of her photos. Overall, Stacy is someone that you can be comfortable around, and she has the sweetest personality. She celebrates your big day with you and makes you feel incredible.

From our first phone conversation a year before our wedding in Naples, Stacy made me feel so comfortable!! I knew immediately she was the one for us. Down the line, she offered to speak by FaceTime so that we could meet, ask questions, and finalize our timeline. We felt even more excited after hanging up the phone! Then our wedding day came, and we could not have asked for anything more from Stacy!! She did it all. She was so focused yet calm, and I never once had to worry. Stacy consistently took it upon herself to make sure my dress and veil looked perfect in every picture - even if that meant she had to walk over every other photo to adjust me. Stacy was truly the greatest and SO MUCH FUN! I would hire her again and again if I could!!!

Where do I begin to express my love for Stacy and Brandon? Let's just say that I had them picked out before I even had a venue or wedding date set. I knew that I wanted them to capture my wedding day and they did not disappoint. From my first conversation with Stacy, I immediately felt like we were best friends and I had complete trust in her and her expertise. I felt even more comfortable with her after our engagement shoot, because she made two awkward posing people look breathtaking beautiful :) Not only is she a very skilled and talented photographer, her personality makes you feel so comfortable and confident. The photographs are incredible and I could not be happier with how they turned out. I get so many compliments from friends and family on the beauty of her work. Stacy is one-of-a-kind and remarkable at what she does - I will absolutely be using SetFree Photography again for future life events.

We used Set Free Photography for our Naples, FL destination wedding in November. It was one of the best decisions we made! Stacy and her husband Brandon were awesome to work with. Stacy's professionalism, organization, and attention to detail are great. We just received our sneak peaks and can't wait to see all of our pictures. Not only were we lucky enough to have her and her husband on our wedding day, but we also had our engagement photos with Stacy. The only problem I have now is finding a place in our house to hang every single photo, they are too good to just pick a couple. I know that my husband and I have found a photographer that we can continue to make memories with from future family photos to everything in between; Stacy will be the first photographer we contact. This means something since we have to travel a few hours to her, but she is absolutely worth it!

Planning the wedding from Minnesota was an adventure and I did A LOT of creeping on social media and looked at many reviews to make decisions. Set Free not only got my attention because of their stunning photos, but also, Stacy was so easy to talk to and such a great communicator! That really made the difference for me. The day of the wedding, Stacy took control and I loved it! She’s a perfectionist - exactly what you need in a photographer. She got all the details, along with the big pictures. She and Brandon were such a pleasure to work with - they are charming, professional, and simply talented! Plus, they wrangled our big, wild family with ease. We’ve only seen our sneak peeks so far, but they are STUNNING! I can’t wait to see them all. My husband and I would definitely choose Set Free again for our photography needs. I’d fly back down to Fort Myers for them!
