About this vendor
My focus and experience is with high budget weddings with genuine couples and I take a lot of pride in that. I'm used to working with venues in the luxury market in Seattle but also the couples who care a lot about the experience of their wedding and the photos they receive afterwards. I focus on communicating well, preparing for the day, executing efficiently and professionally, and delivering a beautiful and diverse gallery of photos for you afterwards. I aim to capture every big and little detail with elegance.
Every photo you see displayed on my website and here are personally taken and edited by me. I do not outsource any of my work and no one will be shooting your wedding or touching your photos except me. I shoot weddings because I enjoy it, but I take it very seriously and spend a vast majority of my free time studying, practicing, and learning. I've been doing that for six years since I started and I haven't slowed down. I have had the pleasure of shooting weddings with NFL QB Russell Wilson and his wife Ciara, former NBA player Shawn Kemp, and shot locations such as Lake Como Italy, Cabo Mexico, LA, Salt Lake City, Miami, Space Needle, Mt Rainier, Seattle Aquarium, 76th Floor Colombia Tower, various Cathedrals, Indian, Persian, Jewish, and Russian weddings, and many more luxury venues and hotels in Seattle.
I am located just outside the Seattle area near Tacoma and specialize in Photography but have done video for several luxury weddings as well. I will ensure that your special day is remembered for generations to come.
I work in a blend of photojournalistic and elegant style of photography. This allows me to capture beautiful candid and initiate moments that make up your wedding day as it unfolds.
I offer an all inclusive, one price package that includes everything you could want. Unlimited hours, engagement shoot, second shooter (maybe even a third), professional lighting, and an elegant shareable digital gallery. After your wedding, I will edit your products in my beautiful style and give them to you via digital files and optional prints.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope we get to work together!

eading up to the wedding, which made us feel comfortable and helped us to come up with a list of moments we really wanted to capture. Seth has such a friendly and fun personality, exactly the kind of friend you'd like to invite to your wedding. Several members of our family came to us after the wedding and said something along the lines of: "We loved your photographer, Seth. He was so friendly!". Finally, after the end of our allotted contract time, Seth stuck around to capture our send off. This is not something I would generally expect, but it shows that Seth goes above and beyond and really cares about doing a great job for you.

Charismatic and easygoing, Seth put us completely at ease, even as people who don’t love being photographed. He was organized, punctual, and dependable throughout, making the entire process effortless. His passion for his craft is evident in the final work, and we would highly recommend him to any couple seeking a photographer who blends professionalism with genuine artistry.
We had Seth photograph two of our wedding events—the haldi and the wedding itself—and every time we look at our photos, we’re instantly transported back to those beautiful moments....
That’s what Seth does so exceptionally well: he captures moments in their full essence.
Seth truly felt like a part of our wedding. My family and friends loved talking to him, and his energy blended seamlessly into the celebrations. He didn’t let a single moment slip by—I remember seeing him holding his food in one hand while capturing photos with the other. One second he’d be shooting from the front, and milliseconds later, he’d already be off to the side, getting another perfect angle.
We DIYed our event décor, and it looked absolutely magical though Seth’s lens. Satya and I feel incredibly lucky to have found Seth to capture our wedding—it’s a decision we’ll always be grateful for.
Seth was very responsive during the planning and the day of the wedding. He captured our most intimate details of our day and also did a great photoshoot for us after the ceremony!

Seth went above and beyond in every way. Our guests were actually coming up to us to comment on how hard he was working to get the perfect shots and how impressed they were by his dedication. He is hilarious and kept everyone feeling relaxed and laughing. He felt more like a friend than a vendor.

or that you'll choose. You can't go wrong with Seth Cartwright!
Looking at his portfolio, I knew I loved his work right away and I was SO grateful when he created a custom package within our budget.
His passion for photography is evident in his work as well as his personality.
Being plus size, I was really nervous about having my photo taken. I don't know how to pose, I'm not super comfortable in my body, and I've only had professional photos taken twice as an adult. Once we started though, Seth made us feel so comfortable. He would get excited about a shot and say things like, "This is so good", or "You guys look amazing", or even just "beautiful". That made all the difference for me. Seth's excitement was contagious and he made me feel confident and comfortable the entire day. I really needed that confidence boost and I'm so grateful for it!
When we got our photos back I was blown away. I knew they would be good, but they looked like they belonged in a magazine! He PERFECTLY captured the mood and emotion of our day, which cannot be understated. Thank you so much Seth!!

and creative ideas put us at ease. He embraced the challenge of capturing our special day on a hot air balloon ride with a five-foot-long selfie stick and special lenses, resulting in breathtaking shots that perfectly encapsulated the sense of adventure and romance.
Throughout the entire process, Seth's professionalism and easy-going nature made the photoshoot a delightful and stress-free experience. He skillfully orchestrated the shoot, ensuring that every moment was beautifully documented. Despite the challenges of shooting in a hot air balloon, he remained calm and focused, delivering natural and genuine photographs that reflected the joy and love surrounding us.
We were genuinely touched by Seth's dedication and generosity. He saved the day by lending us his GoPro when we encountered a technical issue with ours, going above and beyond to ensure that every precious moment was captured. Additionally, his swift delivery of a sneak peek of our wedding photos within a day allowed us to relive the excitement and share the joyous occasion with our loved ones.
Choosing Seth Cartwright as our wedding photographer was a decision we will always cherish. His exceptional talent, reasonable pricing, and genuine care for his clients made our wedding day even more special. We are forever grateful for the lasting memories he created for us through his artistry. Thank you, Seth!
