We hired Seth Mias for our wedding and we don't have a single regret. The food was insanely good and the prices were very fair for what you get. Seth was good about making sure there was enough food for everyone, and his staff were quick and professional and helped out on site. He guided us through our options to create a perfect menu, and even took our suggestions for a few off-menu items. Unfortunately we don't have any pictures, food was so good it didn't last long. Most memorable was the oyster po-boy passed app and the short rib.

Seth and his team were the best, providing delicious food at very reasonable prices that we and our guests loved. From a beautiful cheese display at cocktail hour, to superb entrees packed with flavor, to an assortment of delectable desserts, everything was SO good. We got so many compliments from our guests on the food. Seth was great to work with, providing flexibility, quick responses, and seasonal suggestions on our menu choices. We couldn’t have asked for a better caterer or better food, thank you Seth!

Seth Mias Catering was absolutely phenomenal for our wedding this past May. WOW. Every guest had rave things to say about our food; from the appetizers to the entrees, everything was absolutely incredible. The portions were also wonderful! It was very important to us that none of our guests felt hungry at all during our night, and I can say with confidence that our guests were very satisfied! My husband and I researched a lot of different catering companies before hiring Seth, and we didn't find any with pricing so fair and with such incredible reviews. We couldn't recommend Seth Mias Catering more!

Seth Mias did exceptional catering at a reasonable price to celebrate our wedding at Look Park. We were blown away by the quality and value of the food on all levels. Our guests were raving about the short ribs and chicken and even the veggies were a hit! The cobbler with ice cream was a fantastic way to end the meal and the servers were polite and helpful. Throughout our planning process, Seth was communicative and was able to accommodate all our 150+ guests and their dietary needs including personalized meals for vegans, many vegetarian options and keeping desserts with nut and gluten free. Seth and his team were such a pleasure to work with! His food is delicious - we loved everything we selected for our menu and our guests raved about how fresh and flavorful everything tasted! Multiple people said the flat iron was the best steak they'd ever had, and some of our family members said the mixed veggies tasted like they were just picked that day. My husband and I had pesto chicken with risotto and butternut squash ravioli to share, and both dishes were absolutely divine. Our venue recommended Seth and has worked with him many times, so the whole event was seamless. There was plenty of food to go around at cocktail hour and dinner was timed perfectly. We appreciated how reasonable Seth's prices were compared with other catering companies we contacted. Definitely the best value around for the quality of food and service!

Our experience for our wedding with Seth Mias catering was phenomenal. Everything turned out absolutely delicious and multiple guests told us how good everything was. I personally loved the au gratin potatoes and fried brussel sprouts. He also included some bonus items and overall created amazing food for a great value. Additionally, Seth was very accommodating of the food allergies that some of our guests had. The catering staff was incredible and multiple guests commented on how kind and attentive they were. My only regret is that I got too full to try all of our desserts. I highly recommend hiring Seth!

I mean, WOW. We did a barbecue buffet with Seth for our 10/26/24 wedding and people can’t stop buzzing about how amazing it was! Seth was easy to communicate with from start to finish, and his staff was quick, kind, and professional. We also had a dessert bar that people loved! Seth Mias is a great, budget friendly choice. We had so many compliments from our very well-fed guests. We were able to do hors d’oeurves during cocktail hour, a cheese board, a grand buffet, and dessert table - all within our budget. The food was just terrific. I would give six stars if I could! We chose Seth after going to a tasting event and were so glad we did. Everything on the menu was incredible. At least four guests told us that the short rib was the best they've ever had!

We used Seth Mias Catering for our wedding this summer and even several weeks out we continue to hear and endless stream of "that was the best food I've ever had at a wedding" and "the food was amazing!" Seth was helpful and communicative in advance of the event helping us design a menu that fit our tastes, venue, and the season to ensure we were serving fresh and local produce. We decided on passed appetizers given the nature of late-summer weather and there was no concern about whether everyone had enough to eat or had the option to try all of the apps we had selected. Seth and his team overcame some challenging weather dynamics of our outdoor wedding to make dinner go off without a hitch! From start to finish the meal was incredible and the team was helpful, professional, and friendly. I can't recommend Seth Mias Catering enough and I look forward to the next event we have - we'll absolutely be calling Seth again!

We were blown away with the quality and service. And the prices were extremely reasonable too. We had so many of our wedding guests tell us this was far and away the best wedding food they've ever had! Seth was flexible with the menu, personable and responsive. Seth came recommended to us from our Smith College venue in Northampton. The food was reasonably priced and he was easy to work with. He doesn't do wedding cakes, but has good recommendations.

We are still struggling to wrap our heads around how good and plentiful the food at our wedding was and feel extremely lucky to have been steered toward Seth Mias Catering. Many, many of our guests approached us to comment both on the deliciousness of the food as well as the quality of the service. Additionally, the portion sizes were large and filling. At our sweetheart table, we were tended to throughout the night by a single server who made sure we had everything we wanted and made us feel like true VIPs. Throughout the leadup to our wedding, Seth was extremely helpful, insightful, and collaborative. We had several calls with him to hammer out each detail of our menu and he was incredibly generous in accommodating both our preferences and the dietary restrictions of our guests. When our tasting fell apart at the last minute because of a scheduling snafu (not Seth’s error at all; the venue he booked for the tasting accidentally double-booked the room he reserved), he gave my then-fiancée and I a private tasting at which he prepared several of the dishes we were considering for the night and respectfully chatted us up while also giving us time to experience the food and take in the moment. He followed that up with showing me around his kitchen and talking shop a little (I’d told him I’m an enthusiastic, if inexperienced, home cook). If you can’t tell already, Seth is just the nicest guy you could hope to deal with; the type of person that lifts your mood through a conversation. You won’t regret hiring him for your event and we would definitely hire him again in the future.

Seth Mias Catering was perfect for our wedding. He was great to work with and was very accommodating and flexible to our wants and needs and our guests needs. He took time to speak with us on multiple occasions about our menu and was responsive to all of our questions. The staff at the wedding were all very personable, professional, and invested in making sure things went smoothly. It really made for the best day that we could ask for and all of our guests were raving about the food!

All the food at our wedding at the Red Barn was absolutely delicious! Everyone raved about the short rib and butternut squash ravioli and loved the apple crisp for dessert. They also were so flexible with ensuring our menu was nut free due to a severe guest allergy. I wish I could eat my wedding food everyday.

I don’t even know where to start. Seth’s food is indescribable. I first tried his cooking at Dakin Humane Society’s Mutts & Mimosas event and I knew that we had to book him. Best choice we made! Working with Seth was great throughout the process. We postponed our wedding twice due to Covid and made some menu changes and Seth was so responsive and accommodating! We had our wedding last Saturday and all everyone was RAVING about was how good the food was - from the hors d'oeuvres to the salad to the main meal to the cannoli served with our cake! The salmon and the short ribs were definitely the favorites of the night, but people only had very positive things to say about the chicken as well! I personally was obsessed with the bacon covered scallops. I have never had better scallops in my life. The only complaint I had gotten was that people wished they had more room to eat more! Now that the wedding is over, I’m trying to find another event to hire Seth to cater for because I could eat his food forever.

Having Seth cater our wedding was an absolute delight from start to finish! Seth was amazing to work with and he helped us build a menu within our budget that we were really happy with. As for the food, it was AMAZING! We knew from the tasting that it would be good, but somehow it tasted even better on our wedding day. Almost every guest mentioned how much they loved their meal. We really couldn’t recommend Seth and his crew enough. They were the best in every way!

They offered a great tasting event prior to the wedding which allowed us to sample a variety of their menu options and got great advice from their staff when preparing for the day. We have been to other weddings catered by them in the past and have had great experiences as wedding guests as well!

You know you've hired a good wedding caterer when you tell your other vendors who's providing the food and they all say "Seth?! He's the BEST!!!" We heard nothing but amazing things about Seth Mias leading up to our wedding day, and now we can confirm that working with him was an outstanding experience! My husband and I still distinctly remember our first phone conversation with him at the start of the pandemic, when we were feeling extremely stressed and uneasy, especially when it came to our wedding plans. We had such a nice chat with Seth and after we hung up we couldn't stop talking about how kind and positive he was and how much more relaxed he made us feel. Fast forward over a year and one postponement later, and he absolutely DELIVERED when it came to the food at our wedding. He was so flexible, accommodating and willing to tailor his menus to our particular tastes, and our guests kept commenting on how delicious everything was. As one guest said, "I didn't know wedding food could be this good!" Thank you, Seth, for being so amazing!

Absolutely incredible! Seth is amazing to work with and ready to make any vision come to life. The food was to die for. I can't tell you how many guests said it's some of the best food they've ever had, especially at a wedding. We had a minor timing issue as they were short staffed but his crew was incredibly professional and made it flow seamlessly!

Woah! What a truly fantastic end to end service. Under Seth's expert guidance we easily breezed through all of our wedding catering plans. The execution could only be described as perfection. 1 month later we still have guests raving about the food and service. The pricing was competitive and if anything feels like a steal for what we received. On top of the amazing food and seated service, they also referred one of their own for day of coordination which was pulled off perfectly. They set up all of the decorations, table settings and managed all of the clean up. Seth Mias Catering and team did a fantastic job and truly made our wedding stress free.

We were rolling people out of our wedding they were so full--thanks to Seth, his team, and the AMAZING food! Seth was efficient to work with and quick to respond. It was very easy to work with him and see what foods fit for our wedding. Those appetizers...our guests will be talking for a lifetime about how good they were. The lobster rolls and coconut shrimp are a must! I know people enjoyed the apps when I walked around cocktail hour and the tables were stacked ten dishes high licked clean. The dinner was hearty and flavorful: prime rib, butternut squash, and salmon. So happy we had our leftovers packaged to enjoy the next day. Our late night meal was also a crowd pleaser--KFC bowls! This was a last minute addition and Seth delivered with bowls of mashed potatoes and popcorn chicken with a buffet of cheese and dipping sauces. What a hit! Everything about working with Seth and his team was amazing (shout out to the bartenders too!!) !

Seth Mias Catering was recommended to us from our venue and separately by friends of ours, and we are so glad we chose to work with Seth! First, Seth is just great to work with. He helped us narrow down our choices (since everything was amazing) and he was patient and understanding with us, especially when we had to postpone our wedding twice due to COVID. Additionally, all of his food is delicious. Everyone at our wedding was raving about the food and no one went home hungry! Everyone who works with Seth was amazing as well and made sure that we (the bride and groom) were able to eat some of the appetizers by putting some on our plates and checking in with us during dinner to make sure we were enjoying our meals. We recently used Seth's catering for our wedding at Quonquont Farm, and we are SO GLAD we did!!! Seth is so incredibly kind and responsive, and helped walk us through all the catering things to think about. Most importantly, the food we had was AMAZING. We got such good feedback, and enjoyed the food soooooo much ourselves. We are so glad we used Seth! And wish he had a restaurant so we could eat the food again :)

Seth Mias was amazing! I absolutely loved working with him and his team! The tasting was incredible and allowed us to meet our florist and bakery. He was super accommodating to guests with gluten sensitivities and nut allergies. He was flexible during COVID-19 and last-minute changes to the reception location. We did a buffet of BBQ food for our wedding and everyone raved about how delicious it all was - especially the cornbread. The only reason this review isn't 5 stars is that I, the bride, have an MSG allergy where I get terrible migraines when I eat MSG. Seth and his team were aware of this and assured me there would be no MSG. However, there ended up being MSG in the salad dressing. They plated our salads and put them at our sweetheart table. Even though the seats were labeled Mr and Mrs, they accidentally put the dressed salad on my plate and the salad with no dressing on my husband's plate. They didn't come over to inform me of any MSG until I had already eaten the salad.

Ok let me just say, I personally never talked or met Seth, BUT he is the caterer for The Red Barn in Amherst, MA, where I had my reception. I cannot even describe how amazing his food is. People are STILL texting me telling me how amazing our food was. From the appetizers, to the main course and even to the dessert bar, everything was spot on. Thank you so much Seth!!

My husband and I were married on May 29, 2021, and were thrilled with the catering services from Seth Mias Catering. We worked closely with Seth to develop our menu. Each time we had a question regarding a selection, Seth was there to give us a detailed explanation and provide us with various options and recommendations. Seth was incredibly flexible while we crafted our menu during the pandemic. During our first meeting, we indicated that we had a few guests who would require specialized meals, and Seth was wonderfully accommodating. He allowed us time to make decisions and did not force us to make final decisions until a few weeks before our wedding. It was an absolute dream working with Seth. His kindness, professionalism, and flexibility are unmatched. Importantly, Seth is a wonderful chef. Every single guest at our wedding raved about the menu selections and their meals. We chose the prime rib au jus, the crispy statler chicken with cider reduction, and the halibut with lime dill honey mustard glaze, and each dish was delicious (my husband and I got to try them all!). Seth secured Hadley asparagus for us, which we were so excited to have. Seth’s team provides wonderful service as well. Each member of the service staff that we interacted with was friendly and personable, and there was always someone coming to check in with us to see if we needed anything else throughout the dinner service. My family has been using Seth for our catering needs for the last 15 years, and we will absolutely be coming back for years to come. Thank you so much, Seth!

It doesn’t get better than Seth Mias! We found Seth on a “recommended vendor” list for a venue that we didn’t end up selecting. We were impressed by his reviews, menus, and pricing, so we kept him in mind while we were planning. When we finally found our venue, Seth was the first person we called. From that first phone call, when he let us put two different dates on hold as we solidified the venue, Seth was a dream to work with. He responded quickly via email, was upfront about all costs, and made the whole process a breeze. He holds a large, buffet-style tasting with his booked couples a few times a year, so we were able to make informed decisions about our menu. We recommend showing up hungry! We met with Seth at his office to decide on our menu in January and his personality really struck us. You can tell that he has a passion for what he does and he takes a lot of pride in making your wedding meal perfect. When our wedding day finally arrived, we had no concerns at all about the food. Our guests remarked that Seth’s food was some of the best, if not the best, wedding food they have ever had. They raved about the appetizers and no dessert was left behind! Seth’s team was professional, courteous, and efficient. We had a server assigned to the two of us, and when we couldn’t possibly finish our meals, they packed them up for us. One of our favorite memories from the day was sitting in our hotel room, remembering all the details and eating our delicious leftovers. If Seth is available, don’t hesitate to book him! You will be glad you did!

Seth catered our wedding back in September and we’ve had tons of feedback from guests about how much everyone loved the appetizers and dinner. You will not find such high quality food for such a reasonable price per plate from any other caterer in the area. Go to one of his tastings and you’ll decide on the spot that he’s the caterer you want.
